A video package airs showing the highlights from SMW Reincarnation. Still black and white shots of Mariner, Joe Diano, and Chad Collyer are shown with their newly won titles. Footage of the photo finish to the SMW Championship Match follows, and the video ends with Joe Corey and Satan’s Son helping Max Ogden to the back, still holding onto the SMW Championship. “Warrior” plays and after the opening video finishes, a huge pyro display goes off and Dan Wilson and James Robinson are shown at ringside.
Dan Wilson: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the SMW Arena. I am Dan Wilson, and next to me is my broadcast colleague, James Robinson. We are coming off of a great show at Reincarnation, and it doesn’t look like it is going to slow down here tonight.
James Robinson: That’s right Dan, because tonight we are going to kick off an eight man tournament to see who will be the new #1 contender to the SMW TV Championship. Not only that, but we are also going to have a Triple Threat Tag Team Match, with some huge implications.
Wilson: We sure are James, because tonight, Diamond & Swinger, Matthews & York, and Adrenaline will go at it. The catch is that only the team who walks out victorious will go on as a team, as the other two will be forced to disband!
Robinson: But before we get to that, it is time to kick off our tournament. Let’s get down to the ring.
SMW Television Championship Contender Tournament Quarterfinal
Scott Norton vs. Mr. Vain
This was a back and forth power contest between Norton and Mr. Vain. Norton starts to get the advantage, but he gave Vain too much time to recover from a side slam. Vain catches Norton with a big boot when he turns around and then locks in the Katzahajame for the win.
Winner: Mr. Vain
Dan Wilson: An impressive win by Mr. Vain, and he will move on to the next round of the tournament.
President Joe Corey is shown making his way down the hall backstage.
James Robinson: But don’t go anywhere folks, because the SMW President is on his way to the ring. I’m sure we are going to find out who will be the first man to have his name drawn to face Max Ogden for the SMW Championship later on tonight! Stay tuned.
Commercial Break
Fantastic Four, now in theatres starring Jessica Alba
“Lying From You” hits when Aggression comes back, and SMW President Joe Corey makes his way to the ring. Inside the ring is a gold tumbler set up on a table.
Joe Corey: Last week at Reincarnation, we saw new champions crowned. That was however, until we got to the Steel Cage Match for the SMW Championship. In that match, we saw Max Ogden retain his title. Now, I realize that there was a lot of controversy in that match, and for that reason, I have decided to include Violent P in the four man mini-tournament I have devised to determine who will challenge Max Ogden at our next supershow, SMW Scars & Stripes. However, as I stated on the last Aggression, if Max Ogden were to make it out of Providence still in possession of the SMW Championship, he would defend that title each week until he is no longer the champion. Therefore, before I reach into this tumbler, let me introduce to you, accompanied by Satan’s Son, the SMW Champion… ”Mr. SMW” Max Ogden!
“Hate It or Love It” hits and Max Ogden and Satan’s Son make their way to the ring.
Corey: Now, before I announce who the challenger for the SMW Championship tonight will be, Satan’s Son, I believe you have an announcement to make.
Satan’s Son: That’s right Mr. Corey. As the winner of the Land of Opportunity match at Reincarnation, I get to name a title match for myself, against any champion, at any time. I have decided that I am going to challenge for the SMW Tag Team Championship along with my partner…
Corey: Not so fast Satan, I don’t want you to announce your partner just yet. As you said, you can name that title match any time you like. However, we both know that you are not going to have it tonight, so why don’t we hold off on who your partner is until then. Now, as for something that will happen tonight, Max, would you like to reach into that tumbler and draw out your opponent for tonight?
Max Ogden turns the handle of the tumbler a couple times to mix up the names, and then reaches in and draws a ball out. Ogden then hands the ball to Corey.
Corey: And the lucky person is… Matt Stryker! Congratulations Matt, tonight you will face Max Ogden for the SMW Championship… good luck.
“Lying From You” hits and Corey, Ogden, and Satan’s Son leave the ring to a chorus of boos.

The shot shifts to inside the ring where Dan Wilson is shown.
Dan Wilson: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time. They are the brand new SMW Tag Team Champions, along with Dean Malenko, Chad Collyer and Joe Diano!
"Enter Sandman" by Metallica hits as the fans cheer when after a few minutes all three men come out in their street clothes. The fans cheer more as they slap hands with them on their way into the ring.
Wilson: Dean, you along with the other trainers here in SMW took this young man (pointing at Diano) and turned him from businessman into a bonafied SMW wrestler and I’d imagine you all must be proud of how far he's come in such a short period of time.
Dean Malenko: Absolutely Dan, he's come a long way as you said. He worked his tail off for myself, along with Al Snow, Fit Finely, Dave Taylor and Paul Diamond, he took a lot of abuse on a daily basis and it all paid off cause he and Chad are the Tag Team Champions now.
The fans cheer.
Wilson: And Chad, prior to the match you were attacked backstage by Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger, which led to the match being a handicapped match for the most part but in the end you guys prevailed, question is how far is this thing going to go with the four of you?
Chad Collyer:: Fact is Diamond and Swinger are jealous, plain and simple. Why? Because they are a good team, but Joe and I proved we are a great tag team.
The fans cheer again.
Collyer: And it's killing them cause they know it and they know it cause we proved it in this ring against them, like we always do and we beat them.
Wilson: Now Joe, at Reincarnation you guys beat two greats in Shannon Moore and Xavier.
Joe Diano: Yeah, and I take my hat off to them cause they are two great competitors like you said. But, the one problem was, and is, that Chad and I are a great tag team. That is the reason we're the SMW tag team champions.
Diano hold his title up for everyone to see.
Wilson: What's next for you and Chad?
Diano: Well Dan, we know that there is a special Triple Threat Tag Team Match tonight, with Adrenaline, Matthews and York, and Diamond and Swinger. We also heard the winning team stays together and the losers are done. Chad, Dean and I have decided that we are going to come down here and sit with you and Robinson and we are going to watch this thing up close and personal.
Wilson: Do you guys have a pick?
Collyer: It doesn't matter to us who wins cause we will face anyone for these titles, like fighting champions do.
Collyer holds his title up and pats it with his free hand.
Diano: Damn right! Although I must say it's gonna be a laugh to see those two idiots Diamond and Swinger drop the ball, like always!
"Enter Sandman" hits again as all four men make their way to the announce position.
Losing Teams Must Disband
Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger vs. Joey Matthews & Christian York vs. Adrenaline
Diamond and Swinger take control of this match, looking to prove something to the champions who are at ringside. All three teams trade control for close to fifteen minutes until Chris Cage hits a superkick on Johnny Swinger and somehow gets the pinfall amidst all the confusion.
Winners: Adrenaline
Dan Wilson: Well, the team of Chris Cage and Tank Toland has won this match, but the bigger story here is that the rivalry between Diamond & Swinger and Joe Diano and Chad Collyer seems to be over before it started, as Diamond and Swinger are now no longer a team!
James Robinson: That does seem to be the case, and it will be interesting to see what those four men will do now that they are suddenly found without a partner. But don’t go anywhere folks, because when we get back, the undefeated Ted Huntsman will be in action.

SMW Television Championship Tournament Quarterfinal
Aaron Stevens vs. “The Submissions Man” Ted Huntsman
The match starts off with a standing leg lariat by Ted Huntsman on Stevens. Ted Huntsman follows up with a snap suplex on Stevens, but only gets a 2 count. Huntsman uncharacteristically goes to the corner and hits a flying cross body off the top rope. Aaron Stevens comes back with a superkick that staggers Huntsman. However, Stevens gets overzealous and charges at “The Submissions Man” with a clothesline that is countered into the Crossface. Aaron Stevens taps out and Ted Huntsman goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory.
Winner: “The Submissions Man” Ted Huntsman
James Robinson: A big win for Ted Huntsman, who keeps his undefeated streak alive. He will no go on to face Mr. Vain in two weeks in the semifinals of this tournament.
Mariner is shown sitting in his locker room with his newly won SMW Television Title laid on his waist. He looks up and stares into the camera.
Mariner: You know, I'm not much for talking. I do most of mine in the ring but at Reincarnation, I became a twotime TV Champion. Chris Sabin gave me everything in his body and I wouldn't give up. He gave me the toughest match of my life, and I respect him for that. I hear there’s going to be a number one contenders tournament for my title. I will personally watch all the matches and I will see every one of you at Scars & Stripes when I retain MY Television Championship.
Mariner holds the SMW Television Championship up to the camera and the shot fades to black.

Don’t miss the MLB All-Star Game, July 12th on FOX.
Dan Wilson: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, and in case you just tuned in, we have seen the teams of Diamond & Swinger and Matthews & York disband, and we are only minutes away from seeing Matt Stryker challenge Max Ogden for the SMW Championship.
James Robinson: Not only that, but we were told by President Corey that there would be a four man mini-tournament to determine the number one contender for the SMW Championship. That tournament will continue next week, but it starts here tonight, where former tag team champions will rekindle a huge rivalry. Let’s get to the ring.
SMW Championship Contender Tournament Semifinal
Shannon Moore vs. Xavier
This match was a classic to watch, with so much speed being displayed. Moore got the advantage after a low blow, but he was unable to put Xavier away. Moore goes for his rolling neckbreaker, but Xavier is able to roll out of it and hit the X-Breaker for the win.
Winner: Xavier
James Robinson: A big win for Xavier, as he has defeated his former tag team partner, as well as a former SMW Champion in Shannon Moore. He will go on to face the winner of the match next week between Recon Rage and Violent P. The winner of that match will go on to face Max Ogden, or whoever the SMW Champion may be at Scars & Stripes.
Dan Wilson: And who knows, that person may be Matt Stryker, as he is only a few moments away from his shot at the SMW Championship. It is almost main event time, so don’t go anywhere.
Commercial Break
"Wedding Crashers", starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, in theatres July 15th.
Dan Wilson: It has been some night here on Aggression. However, none of it is as important as what is going to come up next. The SMW Championship is on the line, so let’s get down to ringside.
SMW Championship Match
Max Ogden vs. Matt Stryker
Matt Styker was in control of this match from the get go. Looking to make the best of this opportunity, Stryker uses a mat based attack on the champion, but Ogden refused to tap out to the many submission holds that Stryker was locking in. Stryker then goes to the top rope, going against his strategy, but decides to go for it all. He goes for a cross body block, but Max Ogden hits the ground and Matt Stryker crashed and burned. Ogden quickly picks up his challenger and hits the “Train Wreck” to pick up the win.
Winner: Max Ogden
Dan Wilson: Another successful title defense by Max Ogden, and for at least another week, he will remain here in SMW.
James Robinson: We will see who will face Max Ogden next week for that title, as well as see the continuation of both the Television and SMW Championship tournaments. See you all next week!
