Xavier vs. Recon Rage
Tonight’s show only featured one dark match, but it didn’t let down. Xavier got the crowd really going with a bundle of high risk moves. Most notably when he jumped off the turnbuckle to the outside where Rage was, and delivered a beautiful headscissors. Xavier threw him into the ring and nailed a tornado DDT, which led to his 450 degrees of fear and allowed him to register the win.

SMW AGGRESSION
“WARRIOR” HITS AND THE OPENING VIDEO PLAYS AS JOE COREY IS SHOWN STANDING THE RING WITH A MIC.
Joe Corey: How we doing Nashville? As announced last Aggression, in a 6-man tag team match it will be The Ram, Aries, and Big Evil Nate facing Joe Diano, Shannon Moore, and Ted Huntsman. We will also see Mariner and Jake Diamond team up just weeks before their match, and take on Steve Bradley and Spencer Hollywood. Also last Aggression, we found out that at Retribution it will be Lenny Armstead to challenge the TV titleholder Satan’s Son. Well I have some huge news for tonight, because we are going to have a set of “pick your poison” matches. Quite simply, Lenny Armstead will choose an opponent for Satan’s Son, and Satan’s Son will choose an opponent for Lenny Armstead to try to weaken each other as much as possible for the event. And guys you won’t have to wait long, because Lenny Armstead will pick an opponent for Satan’s Son and that match will take place right now. Get down here Satan’s Son.

GUNNER SCOTT’S MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES DOWN TO A NICE POP.
Gunner Scott vs. Satan’s Son
This match was a great way to kick off Aggression. The two locked up and Satan’s Son prevailed, shoving Gunner to the mat. Gunner got up and tried his best to fight back but it seemed that Satan’s Son was too much for the youngster. Satan’s Son lifted him up by the throat and tossed him to the corner, and then began throwing left and right hands at him. Satan’s Son ended by ramming him into the corner with a shoulder block and then went for the cover but only got two. Satan’s Son then went and clotheslined him out of the ring, and then climbed out. He lifted him up and smacked his head against the barricade and then lifted him up in a bearhug position and slammed him into the ring post 3 times. He then attempted to Irish whip him into the steel steps, but Gunner managed to reverse it and send him shoulder first into them. Gunner lifted him up and hit a snap suplex on the floor outside, before throwing him into the ring. Gunner followed in and hit suplexes left and right. Gunner eventually went to Irish whip Satan’s Son to the corner that the ref was standing in, but Satan’s Son reversed it and Gunner stopped in his tracks to prevent him from hitting the ref. However this gave enough of a distraction for Satan’s Son to kick Gunner in the ‘grapefruits’ right under the ref’s nose. Satan’s Son then lifted him up and hit a devastating Downward Spiral to score the emphatic three count.

James Robinson: Wow, Satan’s Son definitely just sent a message to Gunner Scott.
Dan Wilson: What that he’s going to cheat his way to victory at Retribution?
James Robinson: No, that he’s going to do anything and everything to retain his title.

Joe Diano: They say patience is a virtue! Only problem is whoever said that was obviously a down right friggin' idiot. And then again someone else once said that violence does not solve anything obviously another idiot, because I just can't contain myself for much longer because the thought of punching you in the face Ramplin is just something that I am looking forward to a whole lot!
DIANO STOPS AND LOOKS DIRECTLY IN THE CAMERA.
Ya see Ramplin! Ever since Corey announced this 6 man tag match last show I have not slept because the thought of what is going to happen tonight just tickles me with amusement and gives me a funny feeling! The very thought of me putting my hands around your neck and squeezing has kept me awake for the past week and I have to be honest, I am loving every second of this. And as far as retribution goes, well I will give everyone the scoop of the century and that is the fact that I have been working on something very special and it will make it's SMW debut at Retribution and I offer you my congratulations because you are gonna be the first to feel it… you’re going to be the first victim of what I like to call DOA!

DIANO HANDS THE MIC BACK TO FINCH AS THE CROWD GOES WILD. THE CAMERA THEN MOVES BACKSTAGE IN MR. CHARISMA’S LOCKER ROOM.
Mr. Charisma: Look, Carleena, is something up? I mean you’ve been acting so strange lately and have been mysteriously disappearing the last little while. You’re my sis, you can tell me anything.
Carleena: Everything’s fine. Now you have a match to worry about coming up next, so let’s worry about that and talk about this later.
Mr. Charisma: Oh alright, let’s go kick some Italian mobster wannabe’s ass.
BACK AT RINGSIDE, ALDO’S MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES OUT ALONGSIDE ASHIDA KIM, WITH A LEAD PIPE IN HAND.
James Robinson: We have Mr. Charisma scheduled to take on Aldo Corleone in a preview of Retribution when Mr. Charisma and J-Rod Jefferson take on Aldo Corleone and Ashida Kim for the SMW tag team championships!
MR. CHARISMA’S MUSIC HITS, AND HE COMES OUT ACCOMPANIED BY J-ROD JEFFERSON AND CARLEENA CHARISMA TO A LARGE AMOUNT OF HEAT.
“Mr. Charisma” Cameron Walter w/ Carleena Charisma & J-Rod Jefferson vs. Aldo Corleone w/Ashida Kim
Cameron seemed to be no match for the mobster but Charisma definitely had some tricks up his sleeve. Whenever possible, J-Rod would grab onto the feet of Aldo and trip him. This pissed off Ashida, and he came at him with a takedown, and the two went at it, forcing the ref to have to break it up. Back in the ring, Aldo was taking control. He hit a gorilla press slam, and then ran and delivered a big elbow drop. He then locked in a sleeper hold, and whenever Charisma began to get up, Aldo would kick the back of his shin and get him back down into that sleeper. Eventually Charisma found the rope and forced Aldo to break the hold. Aldo got up and began throwing Charisma around like a rag doll. Eventually, Walter went for the spinning heel kick and Aldo moved out of the way, causing Charisma to hit the ref. Charisma then lowblowed Aldo and hit a nice DDT. Ashida was furious, but J-Rod held him back and those two went at it yet again. In the ring, Charisma got in a bunch of cheap shots, and eventually went to the top rope and hit a jumping leg drop. When Walter noticed the ref was getting up, he grabbed the lead pipe Aldo had brought in, and hit Aldo in the knee with it. Aldo fell to his knees as Walter tossed the pipe into Aldo’s hands and then jumped to the ground and played possum. A dazed Aldo held the pipe in his hands and the ref got up and saw the situation… or what he thought the situation was. The referee then disqualified Aldo Corleone and gave the win to Mr. Charisma by disqualification.

Dan Wilson: Well, all I’m hoping is that Aldo and Ashida use this as a learning experience and not let Charisma or J-Rod get away with something like that at Retribution!

Dean Malenko: I just wanna say I’m proud of you man. You came a long way these past few months, and finally you’re getting a shot at gold, which you definitely deserve. But tonight, you have to worry about who Satan’s Son has chosen to face you.
"Lethal" Lenny: Thanks man it means a lot. And I’m not worried the slightest bit. You see tonight I am going to send a message to Satan’s Son, because it doesn't matter who he picks to face me. I will beat them just like I will beat him at Retribution. I will become the next SMW TV Champ and that’s that!
BACKSTAGE IN JOE COREY’S OFFICE AN INDIAN MAN WITH SCARS ALL OVER HIS BODY WALKS IN.
Joe Corey: Uhh, are you looking for the janitor’s closet? Cause it’s just down the hall over there.
Man: No Mr. Corey, actually I was looking for you.
Joe Corey: Well what can I help you with Mr. ---
Man: Hassad… the name's Hassad.
Joe Corey: What can I do for you Hassad?
Hassad: I was just signed to a contract to compete right here on SMW. I realize that one of your biggest Supershows is coming up real soon, and I believe you could use someone of my caliber on the match card.
Joe Corey: Is that so? Your caliber meaning never having competed in a match in SMW?
Hassad: No, my caliber meaning the high flying, death defying, risk taking, earthquaking, son of a b*tch that will inflict as much pain as humanly possible here in SMW.
Joe Corey: So what your saying is---
Hassad: What I’m saying is, put me in a match with anyone on the SMW roster at Retribution, and I swear to you, no one will leave that arena without knowing the name Hassad.
Joe Corey: I’ll see what I can work out.

“HIGHER” BY THE GAME PLAYS AND LENNY ARMSTEAD COMES OUT TO A PRETTY NICE POP.
James Robinson: Here is the man that has a lot to gain at Retribution.
Dan Wilson: It would definitely be a big boost in his career if he wins the TV title.
James Robinson: I’m sure Vince McMahon will be watching Retribution, and if Armstead pulls it off, then we might be looking at a future PrimeTime Lightheavyweight contender.
Dan Wilson: But it won’t be so easy, he still has to pin or make Satan’s Son submit, which isn’t the easiest thing to do.
James Robinson: Anyways, let’s see who Satan’s Son chose to face Armstead.
LUTHER REIGNS’ MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES DOWN TO THE RING WITH A MEAN LOOK ON HIS FACE AS USUAL.
James Robinson: Oh wow, look at that look in his eyes, he’s out for a fight.
Dan Wilson: And I’m sure he’ll get a hell of a fight from Lenny Armstead.
“Lethal” Lenny Armstead vs. Luther Reigns
Luther Reigns immediately got in the face of Lenny Armstead and took it to him. Luther got in a nice shoulder tackle, and then a clothesline that took Armstead inside out. However Armstead showed just how much heart he has by getting up after everything Luther threw at him. Luther eventually went for a tilt-a-whirl-slam, but Armstead slid down his back and hit a beautiful German suplex into a bridge but he only got 2. Armstead got up and dropkicked Luther’s knee as he was getting up, to make him fall down again. Armstead then repeatedly kicked him until he fell out of the ring. Armstead ran to the ropes and then ran back and springboarded on the middle rope into a seated senton, but Luther held him up and powerbombed him down onto the floor with a great deal of power. Armstead was flattened out and things weren’t looking good for him. Luther lifted him up by the throat and chucked him into the barricade, as Armstead’s neck hit it awkwardly. Luther picked him up and literally tossed him into the ring. He followed in and Irish whipped Armstead to the ropes, and when he came back, Luther hit a gigantic powerslam. Luther then went to the top rope, something he doesn’t usually do, and hit a double knee drop right into Armstead’s gut. Luther went for the cover, but again Armstead showed heart when he kicked out at 2. Luther was furious and decided to go up to the top rope again, but Armstead, nipped up just like that and leaped onto the top rope, and then took Luther down with an arm drag from the top. Luther began to get up, as Armstead ran to the ropes and ran back with a shining wizard. Luther looked as if he was on another planet but began to get up. This proved to be a mistake, as Armstead put him down with a spinebuster into a sharpshooter. He had it locked in tight, and Luther had no choice but to tap out.

Winner: “Lethal” Lenny Armstead
Dan Wilson: He did it! Lenny Armstead just made Luther Reigns tap out!
James Robinson: If he can lock in that sharpshooter at Retribution, we might be looking at our new TV champion!
Dan Wilson: Wait a minute!
(FTER THE MATCH, SATAN’S SON CAME OUT FROM THE CROWD WITH A STEEL CHAIR, AND HIT LENNY ARMSTEAD RIGHT OVER THE HEAD WITH IT. ARMSTEAD WAS OUT AS LUTHER REIGNS JOINED IN ON THE BEATING. LUTHER HIT HIS “REIGN OF TERROR”, AND THEN LIFTED AND HELD ARMSTEAD UP. SATAN’S SON GRABBED HIS BELT AND SMACKED THE GOLD RIGHT AGAINST ARMSTEAD’S FOREHEAD. ARMSTEAD LAID MOTIONLESS, BLEEDING PROFUSELY AS THE SHOT FADED TO A COMMERCIAL.

James Robinson: We are just a couple weeks away from Retribution, which will certainly blow the roof off of the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The theme song for Retribution, “Say Goodbye” by Theory of a Deadman plays and a video package showing all the matches is played as James Robinson and Dan Wilson talk over it.
James Robinson: It is going to be “Lethal” Lenny Armstead challenging Satan’s Son for the TV title.
Dan Wilson: Can Armstead prove to the world that he is the real deal, or will another beating like tonight take place?
James Robinson: We also have the team of Aldo Corleone and Ashida Kim facing Mr. Charisma and J-Rod Jefferson for the SMW tag team championship.
Dan Wilson: Shannon Moore is going to take on Aries in a no holds barred match. Also we just learned tonight that the hardcore newcomer Hassad will be in action in an open challenge.
James Robinson: In one that could and most certainly will get ugly in a hurry, Ted Huntsman will take on Big Evil Nate in SMW’s first ever Stretcher match!
Dan Wilson: When the point of the match is to decimate an opponent so bad that you can put them on a stretcher and wheel them out of the arena, you know it ain't gonna be pretty.
James Robinson: That’s for sure… also we will see Mariner face off against Jake Diamond for the SMW World Heavyweight championship.
Dan Wilson: And finally, in one that is as personal as it gets, Joe Diano will square off against JJ “The Ram” Ramplin.
James Robinson: Will Ramplin succeed in making Diano’s life a living hell, or will Diano get the revenge I and most people feel he deserves?
Dan Wilson: All this and much more… you don’t want to miss it!
BACKSTAGE SHANNON MOORE APPROACHES TED HUNTSMAN WHO HAS A GIANT BANDAGE OVER HIS LEFT EYE, AND ANOTHER ONE ON HIS FOREHEAD.
Shannon Moore: Are you sure you’re all right to fight tonight Ted?
Ted Huntsman: I spent six days in a hospital bed and even more time at home trying to recover at the hands of Big Evil Nate. Do you have any idea what it feels like to go home to your wife and kids, bloodied and battered, and have to admit defeat. I was this close to being permanently blind out of my left eye. I will go out there and beat the living sh*t out of Big Evil Nate until he suffers as much as I have. And even if I don’t get him in a stretcher tonight… at Retribution, he won’t be so lucky!
JOE DIANO APPROACHES THEM.
Joe Diano: You ready boys?
Shannon Moore: Let’s do this.
“THE BROKEN” BY FIREBALL MINISTRY HITS AND DIANO, HUNTSMAN, AND MOORE MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN TO THE RING.
James Robinson: Boy will this match be huge… I doubt the ref will be able to contain these six combustible elements in the ring.
“HAPPY” BY MUDVAYNE PLAYS AND RAMPLIN, BIG EVIL NATE, AND ARIES WALK TOWARDS THE RING ACCOMPANIED BY AUSTIN PLAVLJANICH. HOWEVER HUNTSMAN, DIANO, AND MOORE TOOK THE FIGHT TO THEM AND THE 6 OF THEM BEGAN TO BATTLE IT OUT ON THE RAMP.
Shannon Moore, Joe Diano, and Ted Huntsman vs. Aries, JJ “The Ram” Ramplin, and Big Evil Nate w/Austin Plavljanich
Getting the six competitors into the ring was an almost impossible task for the ref, as the 6 of them went absolutely nuts on each other. Huntsman and Big Evil Nate never made it to the ring, as the two were going at it. Huntsman hit a belly-to-belly suplex onto the ramp and then mounted him and began punching him endlessly. Huntsman eventually locked in the “Drop Sub” but Nate broke him off. The two battled it out all the way to the backstage area. While this was happening, the remaining members of the teams had got into the ring and actually attempted at having a normal match. Diano started things off with Aries and took control. He had a look of intensity in his eyes that we haven’t seen in quite some time. After a reverse neckbreaker, Diano tagged in Shannon Moore who was quite happy to get at Aries. That is until Aries hit him with a huge swinging sidewalk slam. Aries then tagged in Ramplin and Ramplin beat down on Shannon Moore… and taunted Diano in between. Ramplin hit a beautiful double underhook suplex and then went with the lateral press but only got two. Ramplin got up and tagged in Aries, as the two of them began isolating Shannon Moore. After a nice and long isolation beat-down, Aries missed a clothesline, and Moore capitalized with a nice swinging neckbreaker. He then began crawling to his corner in a desperate attempt to make the tag, but Aries grabbed Moore’s leg right before he could make the tag. Moore hopped up on one foot, spun around and hit an enziguri to knock Aries down and make the tag to Joe Diano. Diano came in and literally cleaned house with multiple suplexes. Diano grabbed Aries, dragged him to his corner and forced him to slap hands with Ramplin to make the tag. Ramplin came in with a look of fear in his eyes and the two of them stared each other down. Joe Diano went nuts on Ramplin and hit the Diano Dream. However he didn’t go for the cover, instead he locked in a brutal cobra clutch. The ref lifted up Ramplin’s hand once, and it fell… lifted it up a second time, and it fell… however when he went for the third time, Austin Plavljanich pulled the ref out of the ring so that Ramplin wouldn’t submit. Diano got up in frustration and Aries came in. However Moore came in too and ran and clothesline Aries over the top rope but both of them fell out. Diano went and reached over the top rope to grab Austin and he pulled him up to the apron. However this proved costly, as Austin hung Diano up on the ropes. Diano then turned around and abruptly, Ramplin ran at him with the “Ram’s Horns”, and that was it.
Match Time: 11:26
Winners: Aries, JJ “The Ram” Ramplin, and Big Evil Nate
Dan Wilson: Just like that!
James Robinson: That’s how easy it is. In a matter of seconds, Diano went from controlling the match to being the loser!
Dan Wilson: All because of Austin Plavljanich. Face it, if Austin hadn’t gotten involved, this match would’ve been over a long time ago, and the winner would’ve been Joe Diano!
James Robinson: Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve. Fact of the matter is that Ramplin is walking away victorious, and if Ramplin and Austin can pull something like this off again at Retribution, then we will have the exact same result.
Dan Wilson: Now Joe Diano has that much more revenge to seek at Retribution.

AS WE RETURN OFF THE COMMERCIAL BREAK, CAMERAS PICK UP ON A BRAWL BACKSTAGE BETWEEN BIG EVIL NATE AND TED HUNTSMAN THAT STARTED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 6 MAN TAG. THEY ARE NOW IN THE PARKING LOT, AND BOTH OF THEM ARE USING THEIR SURROUNDINGS AS WEAPONS. AFTER HUNTSMAN SPRAYED THE WHITE POWDER FROM A FIRE EXTINGUISHER IN NATE’S EYES, HUNTSMAN GRABBED NATE’S HEAD AND SMASHED IT INTO A LIMO WINDOW. HE THEN THREW NATE INTO THE LIMO AND THEN WALKED OFF FOR A MOMENT. JUST THEN AN ENGINE STARTING IS HEARD, AND HUNTSMAN IS SEEN DRIVING A PICKUP TRUCK RIGHT INTO THE LIMO THAT NATE WAS IN, SMASHING IT TO PIECES. HUNTSMAN GOT OUT OF THE CAR WITH HIS FACE BLEEDING PROFUSELY, AND HE STATED “SEE YOU AT RETRIBUTION”.
BACKSTAGE IN ANOTHER PART OF THE ARENA WHERE MARINER AND JAKE DIAMOND ARE SEEN TAPING THEIR WRISTS.
Mariner: I just want to make sure that tonight we’re on the same page. I know at Retribution we’re going to be against each other, but I don’t want that to stop us from kicking ass on the same team here tonight.
Jake Diamond: Listen, it’s cool with me. Now let’s go out there and show them that the two top SMW heavyweight contenders working on the same page is virtually impossible to beat.
Mariner: I like that attitude, let’s go kid.

“CAUTION, DANGEROUS CURVES AHEAD” BY MAYLENE & THE SONS OF DISASTER HITS AND MARINER AND JAKE DIAMOND COME OUT TO A HUGE POP.
James Robinson: Let’s get ready for our main event!
Dan Wilson: These two will be opponents at Retribution, but partners here tonight, let’s see how they fare against the more experienced tag team of Spencer Hollywood and Steve Bradley.
STEVE BRADLEY AND SPENCER HOLLYWOOD’S THEME SONG HITS AND THEY COME DOWN TO THE RING TO QUITE A BIT OF BOOS.
James Robinson: This one should be good.
Mariner and Jake Diamond vs. Steve Bradley and Spencer Hollywood
Mariner and Steve Bradley started things off. Mariner got him into a side headlock into a hammerlock but Bradley elbowed his way out of it and then locked in a headlock of his own. Mariner lifted him up and back body dropped him before tagging in Jake Diamond. Diamond came in and immediately knocked Hollywood off of the apron. He then turned around, but Bradley had recovered at this point, and Bradley hit him with a giant clothesline. After some great chain wrestling between Bradley and Diamond, they both made the tag to bring Mariner and Hollywood in. Mariner ran to the ropes but Bradley stuck his knee up and hit Mariner in the back. Diamond didn’t like that so he ran into the ring, but the ref held him back. However, Bradley and Hollywood used this distraction to double team Mariner, hitting him with a double vertical suplex, and then kicking him on the ground. Eventually Hollywood went back on the apron, and Bradley made the official tag to him. Hollywood came in, but the angered Mariner stood up and socked him right in the face a numerous amount of times. After about 6, Mariner ducked a clothesline, and hit a German suplex before tagging in Jake Diamond. Jake Diamond ran in and clotheslined Hollywood into a corner. Diamond then ran and hit a huge “stinger splash” on Hollywood. He then climbed up to the middle rope and began punching Hollywood in the face as the crowd chanted “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!” Diamond tagged in Mariner, and the two of them did a neckbreaker/back body drop type double team move that was very effective. Mariner went for the pin, but Bradley came in to break it at 2. Mariner was pissed off and clotheslined Bradley out of the ring. He then lifted up Hollywood and hit a huge H-Bomb. He was about to go for the cover, but Jake Diamond made the blind tag and came into the ring. Mariner was very frustrated and shoved Diamond. Diamond shoved him back and right before the two were about to go at it, Hollywood rolled up Diamond from behind, and Bradley pulled Mariner to the outside to allow the ref to count the 1…2…3.

James Robinson: Oh wow, some miscommunication between Diamond and Mariner has just cost them the match!
Dan Wilson: Look at this!
MARINER AND DIAMOND WENT NOSE TO NOSE, AND AFTER A SHORT WHILE, THE TWO BEGAN TRADING SHOTS UNTIL EVERY SMW REFEREE AND OFFICIAL CAME DOWN TO BREAK IT UP.
James Robinson: What are going to be Mariner and Diamond’s mindsets going into Retribution?
Dan Wilson: What are their mindsets going to be? Exactly that… retribution!
