THEY BOTH SAID THEY'VE BEEN CONTACTED BY THE TWF AND BOTH FEEL THEY'LL BE THERE IN 2002. CONSTANTINO SAID DESPITE HIS AGE (41), HE'LL BE A MAJOR PLAYER IN THE TWF. LESNAR, THE 2000 COLLEGIATE NATIONAL WRESTLING CHAMPION, FEELS HE CAN HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE TWF SIMILAR TO THAT OF KURT ANGLE. ALSO, SHARMELL SULLIVAN TALKED TO FORMER TWF AND SMW STAR AND WRESTLING ICON SABU ABOUT EVER COMING BACK TO THE RING. SABU DIDN'T RULE OUT A RETURN TO THE TWF AND EXPRESSED HIS DESIRE TO COMPETE AT THE TWF's EUROPEAN ONLY PPV EVENT IN FEBRUARY. THe auditorium was sold out in Nashville for our Christmas show and we were thrilled about that. We'd also like to thank the TWF stars who came out and worked the event and gave some of our guys a little idea of what our parent company has to offer. Match by match, not one disappointment. Modest and Daniels started the show off well. These two have had some classic confrontations all over the world and this one was no different. Great effort by both men and I'm sure we'll put them against each other in the future. I'm very impressed with Damian Steele and Shannon Moore, both of whom are undefeated since their arrival. You might remember Moore from his 3 count days in WCW and we believe he'd make a great fit in the TWF's Lightheavyweight division. As for Steele, this guy's definitely the Real Deal. We're also impressed with the work of the original Tough Enough winner Maven. This kid's got a ways to go but we're confident he'll get there. Randy Orton is ready for the next level, as evidenced in his huge win over 3 time TWF Lightheavyweight champion Masato Tanaka. He could get the call up any day now. Spencer Hollywood continues to work hard and Jerry Lynn seems to be ready to go back to the big time. We were told earlier this month that beginning in early 2002, the TWF will be looking for several tag teams to make up a stronger division. We think Evolution may be a good choice. These two are a great team that remind some of the Rockers and Rock N' Roll Express. The match of the night was between Steve Blackman and Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin took a beating from the Lethal Weapon but pulled off the upset in the end. On a side note, the Prototype, a.k.a. John Sena was unable to make the trip due to a stomach virus. He is feeling better at the time of this report and he will compete at our next tv tapings in Nashville. Thank you for your continued support in SMW and we hope the new year brings many of our talents a dream come true.
