THE TWF LOGO FLASHES ACROSS THE SCREEN FOLLOWED BY THE COPYRIGHT INFORMATION. THE WIDESPREAD PANIC LOGO APPEARS IN THE CENTER OF TWO MEN WHO ARE FENCING AND THEN WIDENS AS THE NOISY, SOLD OUT ARENA COMES INTO VIEW AND A HUGE FIREWORKS DISPLAY KICKS THINGS OFF BEFORE JONATHAN COACHMAN AND DAN WILSON OF SMW ARE SHOWN.
Jonathan Coachman: "Hello everyone and welcome to the TWF's international tour Widespread Panic and just like last year, the TWF is showing it has great support overseas! I'm the Coach alongside the regular play by play man for Smoky Mountain Wrestling, Dan Wilson! Glad you could make it Dan"!
Dan Wilson: "So am I Coach! I am not used to anything like this in the Nashville arena we play to but there are over 50,000 people here expecting to see a great show"!
Coachman: "And a great show they are gonna get as Stone Cold Steve Austin will go one on one with the man who won the Royal Rumble, Rob Van Dam in tonight's main event"!
Wilson: "Well first up, we've got women's action between Jazz and a young girl who is actually the sister of Jordan Rockwell".
Coachman: "Well Rockwell is having his own share of problems and he is not here tonight but speaking of problems, take a look at the one Jazz and Britney Haven had over at the TWF Livewire just about a week ago".
THE TWF RE-WIND SHOWS THE CONFRONTATION BETWEEN JAZZ AND BRITNEY HAVEN AT THE TWF LIVEWIRE INN FOLLOWED BY HAVEN COSTING JAZZ HER MATCH AGAINST LITA. Jazz vs. Britney Haven of mFw The bell sounded amd Haven tried to charge Jazz but it was like running into a brick wall. Jazz then bullied the smaller girl around the ring before slapping her across the face. After a delay vertical suplex, Jazz bounced off the ropes and dropped a big leg right across her throat but Haven showed a lot of heart by kicking out at 2. After ducking a clothesline off an irish whip, Haven caught Jazz with a flying forearm followed by a standing moonsault. She then whipped her to the corner and followed up with a monkey flip. Haven then went to the top rope and came off with a cross body block but Jazz rolled through it and impressively picked her up from that position and delivered a hard backbreaker. Jazz then delivered a vicious DDT before locking in the STF in the middle of the ring and Haven had no choice but to tap out. Match Time: 4:36 Coachman: "A courageous effort by Britney Haven but Jazz was too much for her tonight". Wilson: "A courageous effort it was but it looks to me like Jazz wants to inflict more punishment". THE BELL CONTINUED TO RING AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOED AS JAZZ DELIVERED A FISHERMAN BUSTER AND LOCKED THE STF IN AGAIN. SHE DIDN'T RELEASE THE HOLD UNTIL SEVERAL OFFICIALS CAME DOWN TO BREAK IT UP. Coachman: "That was totally uncalled for! You won the match so get out of the ring"! Wilson: "Lita was unable to make the trip for unknown reasons but if she did, I think things would've been a lot different tonight". BACKSTAGE.... BROCK LESNAR IS SHOWN DOING PULLUPS ON A STEEL STRUCTURE BACKSTAGE WHEN SHAWN MICHAELS COMES UP. Shawn Michaels: "Gee Brock, it seems like you're preparing for a match, yet, you don't have one". LESNAR DROPS TO THE GROUND. Brock Lesnar: "I might not have a match, but that doesn't mean I won't get physical tonight". Michaels: "Listen big man, if you think for one second that you're gonna try and cost Travis Wakeman his chance at winning that gauntlet match tonight, you got another thing comin'". Lesnar: "Oh is that right"? Michaels: "Just try me". MICHAELS WALKS AWAY AS THE SCENE SHIFTS BACK TO THE ANNOUNCE POSITION. Wilson: "I can't wait for that gauntlet match Coach, that's gonna steel the show"! CIVIL RIGHTS' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT ON STAGE AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOS. Coachman: "Well I might have to agree with that but this crowd doesn't seem to be real big fans of these guys and who can blame 'em"? Teddy Long: "Ya know, my boys and I can't believe what you people here in Singapore have to go through. I mean, the rules are so harsh. So even though we're not on the card tonight, and we'll give you one clue why, we decided to come out here and tell you people one thing. And that is that you don't have it near as bad as the blacks do in America! And tonight, we're gonna tell you all how to avoid the same problem ever occuring over here in Singapore! First.... JUST THEN, "REAL AMERICAN" HITS AND HULK HOGAN COMES OUT TO AN ABSLOUTELY UNBELIEVABLE RESPONSE. Coachman: "Oh my god, listen to this"! Wilson: "They love the Hulkster worldwide Coach"! Hulk Hogan: "Teddy, why don't you just shut your stinkin' mouth! The TWF is the greatest wrestling company around brother and it's not everyday we come to Singapore! I can promise you, the 50,000 Hulkamaniacs that are here tonight did not come here to listen to your discrimation claims! As far as I'm concerned, brother, it's all a bunch of crap"! Ron Killings: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hogan, you need to stop and think about one thing for a second here! You cannot deny what our race has gone through in America! Look at Rodney King! You ever see a white man beaten down by the authorities like he was? Think about it Hogan, I may be a black man, but I speak the damn truth"! Hogan: "Listen guys, my brothers High Octane and the deadman, along with myself, are gonna deal with Triple H, Scott Steiner and one of you at Code Red. But this isn't America and these people didn't come here to see you so guys, come on out"! JUST THEN, SEVERAL MEMBERS OF SECURITY CAME OUT CARRYING STUN GUNS AND FORCED CIVIL RIGHTS OUT OF THE RING. Coachman: "Hogan's forcing them to leave"! Wilson: "And look at the size of these guys"! AFTER CIVIL RIGHTS WAS ESCORTED BACKSTAGE, "REAL AMERICAN" HIT AND HOGAN POSED ON THE RAMP AS THE CROWD WENT NUTS. Coachman: "Hogan has won these people over! They love the Hulkster"! Wilson: "But has he started a war with Civil Rights"? BACKSTAGE.... NEMESIS WAS SHOWN WITH SAM WILDE. Nemesis: "I just wanna know what the hell is going on? Goldust is messin' with the wrong guys, right"? WILDE WAS ABOUT TO ANSWER WHEN GOLDUST APPEARED. Goldust: "Oh Nemesis, why must you harrass the poor boy? He hasn't made his decision yet and you're putting unwanted pressure on him". NEMESIS REACHED BACK AND DRILLED GOLDUST WITH A HARD RIGHT HAND. GOLDUST RETALIATED AND THE BRAWL WAS ON. WILDE TRIED TO GET IN BETWEEN THE TWO BUT SECURITY EVENTUALLY HAD TO BREAK IT UP. Coachman: "Things are getting very weird between those three men". Wilson: "Weird is an understatement". Coachman: "Well up next, we've got Los Guerrero's to face The Conquistadors and we don't have a clue who The Conquistadors are"! Wilson: "Well I know who they once were but Eddie and Chavo think they deserve a shot at the RAW tag team titles and Stephanie gave them this match to prove themselves"! Coachman: "But the Conquistadors"? The Conquistadors vs. Los Guerrero's Eddie Guerrero attacked one of the Conquistadors before the bell rang and referee Jim Korderas made him get off but as Korderas struggled with Eddie, Chavo snuck around the ring and smacked the other Conquistador with a steel chair in the back. The match belonged to the Guerrero's from there as Eddie worked on the first masked man. After a scoop slam, Eddie hit his flying helo before tagging in Chavo who tried to take the mask off but he couldn't. After a well executed piledriver, Chavo went to work on the knee of the first Conquistador, looking to help set up his uncle's "Lasso from El Paso". Chavo eventually whipped the Conquistador to the ropes but made the cardinal mistake of putting his head down too early and was caught with a kick to the chest followed by a big clothesline. The tag was then made to the second Conquistador who came in and although favoring his lower back, still cleaned house. It was all Conquistadors for the next couple minutes and after the second Conquistador caught Chavo with a superkick that knocked him to the floor, both Conquistadors caught Eddie with a high double back body drop. Eddie rolled out of the ring and helped his nephew up. They threw their hands up and began walking up the ramp. Coachman: "What are The Guererro's doing"? Wilson: "They're not gonna prove anything like this"! Coachman: "Wait, look at this"! AS THE GUERRERO's REACHED THE TOP OF THE RAMP, THE CONQUISTADORS TOOK OFF THEIR MASKS, REVEALING THEMSELVES TO BE CHUCK PALUMBO AND SHAWN STASIAK! Wilson: "It's the RAW tag champs"! THE GUERRERO's WERE FURIOUS. Coachman: "Stephanie has pulled one over on the Guerrero's! What a surprise"! AFTER A BRIEF INTERMISSION IN WHICH THE PROMO FOR CODE RED WAS SHOWN, RING ANNOUNCER LILIAN GARCIA INTRODUCED THE LEGENDS OF WRESTLING THAT HAD MADE THE TRIP AND WERE IN ATTENDANCE. THE LIST INCLUDED TERRY FUNK, GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE, KING HARLEY RACE, IVAN PUTSKI, RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT, MR. FUJI, THE IRON SHEIK AND BOB BACKLUND. Mixed Gender Tag Austin Pyromania and Terri vs. Matt "Koo Bear" Taylor and Jackie Gayda Terri and Jackie started things off with some hair pulling out of a lock up before Jackie backed her into the corner and blasted her with a knifedge chop. Jackie then picked her up and delivered a hard body slam before turning around and slapping an unsuspecting Pyromania across the face. Jackie then went to a hard armbar and Terri yelled in pain. After an airplane spin that even took a little out of her, Jackie dumped Terri and tagged in Taylor. Referee Mike Sparks got in Taylor's way, allowing Terri to tag out because of mixed gender rules and when she did, sparks flew. Pyromania came in and he and his former best friend traded shots until the taller Taylor drove a knee into the gut of Pyromania followed by a discus clothesline. Pyromania then delivered a shoulder breaker and went for the cover but Pyromania kicked out at 2. Pyromania was in a lot of trouble though as Taylor methodically picked him apart. He then whipped him to the ropes and caught him with a big powerslam but Pyromania again was able to kick out. Taylor then hung Pyromania over the middle rope and distracted Sparks as Jackie slapped him again. But Terri saw this and charged over, pulling Jackie to the floor. Pyromania then countered an irish whip attempt with a big ddt. He went to the top rope and came off with a beautiful dragon corkscrew but Sparks was distracted by the fight on the floor. He ordered Terri back to her corner when Taylor came from behind and hit Pyromania in the back of the head. He then tried to send Pyromania to the ropes but he didn't budge, instead whipping Taylor right into Jackie. She fell to the floor as Pyromania hit "Pyrotechnics" on Taylor and hooked the leg for the 1.....2.....3. Match Time: 9:17 "DON'T PLAY WITH FIRE" BY 2PAC HIT AS TERRI JUMPED INTO PYROMANIA's ARMS. Coachman: "Austin Pyromania has defeated Matt Taylor in the center of the ring and look at Jackie, she is not at all happy"! Wilson: "But he'll have to do it again at Code Red where he and Koo Bear go one on one"! BACKSTAGE..... HIGH OCTANE IS SITTING WITH DYLAN JANSENS. Dylan Jansens: "Man I can't believe it, just one year ago we wrestled in that great match at Outbreak". High Octane: "Yeah, and now we're on seperate shows and I got some tramp trying to say we're common law husband and wife". Jansens: "Is that what she's doing? Well don't feel too bad. Someone stole my most prized possession, my katana". High Octane: "Well tonight, I say we take out our frustration on the Psych Ward. They've been talking a lot of trash lately". Jansens: "One night only, let's do it my friend". THE TWO KNOCK FISTS AS THE SCENE CUTS BACK TO THE RING. Coachman: "That match will happen later tonight folks but here's one that I know these people are looking forward to, the Singapre cane match"! Wilson: "Tommy Dreamer and Sabu were the first RAW tag team champs but they've grown far apart in the last several weeks. This one is gonna be downright brutal". Singapore Cane Match Tommy Dreamer vs. Sabu The fans were extremely into this match as Dreamer and Sabu met each other shot for shot with the canes until Sabu leaped over a low swing and hit Dreamer across the face while in the air. Sabu then took the cane and jabbed it into Dreamer's ribs before delivering a legdrop with the cane. But Dreamer showed his high tolerance for pain and got up, blood trickling from his right eye. He ducked a hard swing and came back with some sick shots to the arms and body of Sabu before delivering a hard ddt that got him a 2 count. Dreamer then went to the middle turnbuckle and came flying off but Sabu hit him in the ribs with a shot. Sabu then delivered a swinging ddt before climbing to the top rope. But Dreamer recovered and hit him across the legs with his cane. As Sabu straddled the top turnbuckle, Dreamer climbed up with him and brought him down with the "Dreamer Driver" as the crowd about lost it. Dreamer hooked the leg and got the 3 count and a standing ovation. Match Time: 8:30 Coachman: "Tommy Dreamer has survived one of the most brutal encounters I can ever remember"! Wilson: "Survived is about al he did Coach! Wow what a fight"! BACKSTAGE.... THE HONKY TONK MAN IS SHOWN BACKSTAGE SHINING HIS GUITAR WHEN GREG VALENTINE COMES UP. Greg Valentine: "What the heck are you doin'"? Honky Tonk Man: "Shining my guitar. What's it look like I'm doin'? We're in Singapore, who knows what kind of crap could be on this thing". Valentine: "I just came here for one thing. Please don't sing tonight, I don't think these people would wanna hear it". Honky Tonk Man: "Oh now I shouldn't sing either. Do you remember WrestleMania 6? We had one of the best performances ever that night and we were in Canada. So if Canadians like my music, anyone will". Valentine: "Whatever". Wilson: "I know I'm one who doesn't care for his music". Coachman: "Well that makes two of us! But fans, last week on PrimeTime, Kid Gundam and Hayabusa were punished in a way and tonight, they've gotta carry it out". Wilson: "Brock Lesnar take notes. This is what happens when you defy the TWF's new enforcers"! Kid Gundam and Hayabusa w/ Jim Cornette vs. The Road Warriors The bell sounded and Hawk locked up with Gundam but he backed him into the wrong corner and as referee Jack Doan asked for a break, Hayabusa got in a cheap shot and Gundam caught Hawk with a spin kick. The martial arts prowess of Gundam and Hayabusa combined with their speed made up for a tough match for Hawk as they made several tags in and out and didn't allow Hawk anywhere near his corner. After a scoop slam, Gundam tagged in Hayabusa who wowed the crowd with a slingshot corkscrew legdrop and made the cover but Hawk was able to get up just in time. Hayabusa then tagged in Gundam who blasted the chest of Hawk with his hard knifedge chops. He then whipped him to the ropes but Hawk ducked a backhand swing and caught Gundam with a flying shoulder block as he came off the other side. Hawk then made it to his corner and tagged in a fresh Animal who was all business. He came in and ran through Gundam with a clothesline before catching Hayabusa who tried to enter the ring from the top rope. He gorilla press slammed Hayabusa right onto Gundam before delivering a sit down powerbomb to him. After tossing Hayabusa to the floor, Animal dropped Cornette with a right hand when he tried to throw his tennis racket to Gundam. Gundam charged but was caught with a powerslam as Animal tagged in Hawk. He whipped Gundam to the corner and then used Hawk who reversed his whip and sent Animal charging into Gundam with a clothesline. Animal then stuck 2 thumbs in the air as the crowd came to their feet. He picked Gundam up on his shoulders as Hawk went to the top rope and completed the "Doomsday Device". Animal made the lateral press and got the 3 count. Match Time: 11:39 Coachman: "The Road Warriors have won this in convincing fashion! I hope Lesnar was taking notes"! Wilson: "I must say, they haven't lost much! In my opinion, they are the greatest tag team ever"! Coachman: "It'd be hard to disagree with that"! BACKSTAGE..... TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN BEATING A PUNCHING BAG WHEN OF ALL PEOPLE, RICKY STEAMBOAT COMES UP. Ricky Steamboat: "Wakeman". WAKEMAN TURNS AROUND. Wakeman: "Ya know, you were my idol growing up and trying to get into this business. That's why I lobbied to wrestle you last year at Outbreak". Steamboat: "It was my pleasure. THE 2 SHAKE HANDS. Good luck tonight". STEAMBOAT WALKS AWAY AS WAKEMAN LOOKS ON. OTHER SIDE OF THE ARENA.... MEAN GENE OKERLUND IS STANDING WITH JESSICA LOPEZ. Mean Gene: "Miss Lopez, in a matter of moments, you will get one more crack at Akasha and her Women's title. Can you defeat the angel with black wings tonight"? Jessica Lopez: "First off Gene, Akasha is no angel and tonight, she is gonna..... JUST THEN, SPAWN GETS IN LOPEZ' FACE. What do you want"? NO SOONER IS LOPEZ DRILLED FROM BEHIND BY AKASHA BUT KEVIN NASH COMES RUNNING OVER AND DRILLS SPAWN WITH A HARD RIGHT HAND. HE THEN PULLS AKASHA OFF OF LOPEZ AND THE "REIGN OF DARKNESS" WALKS AWAY. AKASHA IS LAUGHING AS NASH CHECKS ON LOPEZ. BACK AT RINGSIDE, A CORD STRIKES AND AN EERIE THEME HITS AS CRAZY SHANE AND BREAKDOWN MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN THE AISLE. Coachman: "Take a look at the TWF's latest signings, the Psych Ward! What a combination these two should make"! Wilson: "But what is up with Akasha and Spawn"? Coachman: "That match is coming up right after this one and Akasha pretty much thinks she's untouchable Dan". AN ENGINE REVS AND "DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS" HITS AS A BLACK, FIRE BREATHING DRAGON APPEARS ON THE VIDEO WALL. Wilson: "This is a match I'm really looking forward two as three of these men are products of Smoky Mountain Wrestling"! Coachman: "Well it was just last year that Dylan Jansens defeated High Octane at the TWF's first international event and pretty much paved his way to the TWF with that win. But tonight, he and Damion West are partners". The Psych Ward vs. Dylan Jansens and "High Octane" Damion West As the bell sounded, High Octane and Jansens had a talk about who was going to start things off with Shane. It was determined to be High Octane and after a collar and elbow tie up, Shane whipped him to the mat with an armdrag. High Octane locked up with him again but was slung to the mat with an arm drag again. Shane then showboated a little before locking up again but this time, West got in a quick armdrag followed by a dropkick which knocked Shane to the corner. After 2 knifedge chops, he whipped him to the corner and followed in but Shane got in a boot to the face followed by a flying clothesline off the middle rope. Shane then went for the Sharpshooter but High Octane rolled him up with a small package and got a very near fall. After 2 quick jabs, he whipped him to the ropes and went for a hurracanrana but Shane countered with a nice powerbomb. He then went in and tagged in Breakdown who would have his way with the much smaller West. After a pendulumo backbreaker, Breakdown sent West to the corner so hard he flipped up over the turnbuckle and onto the floor, doing his best Ric Flair impersonation. As Breakdown was pulled away by referee Tim White, Crazy Shane grabbed High Octane and slammed him into the ring steps before rolling him back into the ring. Breakdown made the cover but High Octane got his left shoulder up at 2. Jansens was desperate for a tag and after High Octane scored with a spinwheel kick after ducking a clothesline, tags were made on both sides. Jansens came in and beat Shane to the punch before kicking him in the gut several times. He then whipped him to the corner and came in with a jumping splash but Shane delivered a sensational dropkick that brought the crowd to their feet. He then made the tag to Breakdown and he slowed down the pace, pounding on the Lightheavyweight champion's frame. After a high impact tilt-a-whirl driver, Breakdown caught High Octane with a cheap shot and White cut him off when he tried to get involved. This allowed for a double team by the Psych Ward and they delivered a double face first suplex to Jansens. But White turned around and saw this and forced Shane to his corner. As White and Shane argued, High Octane entered the ring and blasted Breakdown with the "Head on Collision". White finally turned around to count the 1......2....., but Breakdown was up! Breakdown was still a little woozy though as he reversed an irish whip and Shane caught Jansens with a kick to the back. High Octane came flying across the ring with a clothesline, taking both he and Shane to the floor. Inside the ring, Jansens hit a jumping ddt on Breakdown after he put his head down too early and that led to the "Deep Sea Dive" as Jansens hooked the leg and got the win. Match Time: 13:11 Wilson: "I can't believe it! The Psych Ward has gone down"! Coachman: "What a team High Octane and Dylan Jansens make! They tamed the beast tonight"! Wilson: "Well, reality just set in for the Psych Ward. This ain't SMW anymore"! BACKSTAGE.... MATT HARDY AND THE HURRICANE ARE BOTH SHOWN WEARING THE NEW MATTITUDE 2003 T-SHIRTS. Matt Hardy: "Now listen Hurricane, even though I was upset with you for doing something I didn't give you permission to do last week, I am willing to forgive you. Tonight, I am going to use all my great Mattributes to win that golden Singapore cane in the gauntlet match". Hurricane: "With your Mattributes and my Hurri-powers combined, imagine what we can do"! Matt: "Just sit back, watch and learn". Coachman: "Well that Gauntlet match is still to come but right now, it's time for our Women's title match and these two are ready to go Dan"! Wilson: "The Women's title changed hands on the international tour last year. Can Akasha prevent deja vu"? TWF Women's Title Match Challenger.... Jessica Lopez vs. Akasha As the bell sounded, Lopez evaded a lunging Akasha and caught her with 2 sharp kicks to the body followed by a hard forearm shiver. But after a spin kick, she went to the top rope for a standing moonsault and Akasha caught her in mid air and delivered a shoulder breaker. Akasha then used 2 dragon whips on the arm before jumping out of the ring and pulling her to the corner where she wrapped her arm around the steel post. Referee Earl Hebner threatened to DQ her so Akasha came back in the ring where she slammed her right on the hurt arm before delivering a big legdrop. She went for the cover but Lopez kicked out at 2. Lopez again kicked out after a hard backdrop suplex. Akasha then delivered a vertical suplex before dropping her with a torcher rack drop. She quickly hooked the leg as Hebner counted 1.....2....., but Lopez again kicked out. Akasha was growing very frustrated but there was still a lot of fight in the challenger. Akasha whipped her to the corner and followed in with a hard clothesline. She then lifted her up on her shoulder for a running powerslam but Lopez slid off and used her own momentum against her, rolling her up with a schoolboy to get the 3 count! Match Time: 8:19 Wilson: "Did she get her? I think she got her Coach"! Coachman: "Earl Hebner says she did and for the first time since September of 2000, Jessica Lopez is the TWF Women's champion"! AKASHA ARGUED THAT LOPEZ HOOKED THE TIGHTS BUT TO NO AVAIL. Wilson: "Akasha is claiming she hooked the tights Coach". Coachman: "Well we just watched the replay and it didn't show that but if looks could kill.... look at Akasha, she's seething"! A PICTURE OF TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN. "A man hell bent on revenge. A PICTURE OF RAVEN POPS UP. Another out to show his Enterprise will prosper". Travis Wakeman meets Raven.... only on Pay-Per-View. Don't miss TWF Code Red"! THE SCENE SHIFTS BACK TO THE BROADCAST POSITION WHERE SEVERAL FANS ARE SHOWN DOING THEIR BEST TO GET ON CAMERA. Coachman: "Up next fans is the one I've been looking forward to. It's the eight man PrimeTime gauntlet. The rules are simple. The match starts with two superstars and whoever wins goes on to immediately fight the man who comes out next. The man who wins the last match will be the winner Dan". Wilson: "And there are some big names in this one including my pick, the "Fallen Angel" Chris Daniels. But does anyone know anything about this Mr. Wrestling III"? Coachman: "I don't have the foggiest but I'm ready for the first matchup, so let's go to the ring". 8 Man PrimeTime Gauntlet Match The Great Muta vs. Charlie Haas Haas was perplexed by Muta's quickness as he eluded his desire to get down on the mat. But after countering a roundhouse kick with a capture suplex, Haas locked in the "Haas of Pain" and Muta had no choice but to tap out. Match Time: 3:50 Charlie Haas vs. Kanyon Kanyon came out quickly and tried to exploit the fact that Haas had been in a match already. But Haas didn't expend a lot of energy versus Muta and he was able to take Kanyon down to the mat. But Kanyon kept up with his amatuer style and after a fireman's carry, he caught him with a nice powerslam but Haas kicked out after a count of 1. Kanyon charged him but Haas caught him with a nice belly to belly before locking him in the "Haas of Pain" as well and getting a tap out. Match Time: 3:15 Charlie Haas vs. Matt Hardy Matt tried to sneak up on Haas, coming through the crowd and rolling him up with a schoolboy. But Haas kicked out and ran through him with a clothesline. He then attacked the lower back of Matt before whipping him to the corner. But when he followed him in, Matt caught him with a boot to the face followed by a cactus clothesline. Matt then went up to the middle turnbuckle for his flying legdrop but Haas anticipated it well and rolled out of the way. When Matt got up, he hit him with the Exploder suplex to get a 3 count. Match Time: 5:40 Charlie Haas vs. Mr. Wrestling III Mr. Wrestling III came out wearing a white mask with a red question mark on it but he had some striking similarities as he slugged it out with Haas until he caught him with a spinebuster. Mr. Wrestling then delivered a jumping knee to the forehead before picking him up and using a well done russian leg sweep. He then went for an irish whip but Haas reversed it and caught him with a belly to belly overhead throw. Haas then locked in a front face lock on Mr. Wrestling, a good move considering the poor ventilation of Mr. Wrestling's mask. Mr. Wrestling was able to work his way to a vertical base before drilling Haas with 3 elbows to the midsection. He then bounced off the ropes and leapfrogged Haas but as he came off the other side, Haas put his head down too early and Mr. Wrestling used a nice fisherman suplex and was able to clasp his hands and pin Haas who was not happy as he made his way up the ramp. Match Time: 6:03 Mr. Wrestling III vs. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels Daniels came in representing SMW with nothing to lose. He came at Mr. Wrestling full force until he was caught with a powerslam but was able to kick out. Mr. Wrestling had him under control and he whipped him to the corner and came charging in with a body splash but Daniels moved and he hit the top of the post and fell back. Daniels locked in a figure four leg lock but Mr. Wrestling was out and referee Mike Chioda made the 3 count since his shoulders were on the mat. Match Time: 3:35 "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. Travis Wakeman This was the best action of the night as the fans got a real treat from these two. Wakeman got more than a run for his money from Daniels who ducked a clothesline and kicked Wakeman's left leg out. He then made his left leg and more specifically the knee, his main target. After a shin breaker, Daniels locked in a figure four leg lock but Wakeman was able to withstand the pain and counter it into his Sharpshooter. Fortunately for Daniels, he was close to the ropes and grabbed them. But Wakeman then became releantless as he locked in 6 different submission holds, the last being the Round Table. But again, Daniels was able to get to the ropes. Wakeman irish whipped him but Daniels ducked a back elbow and threw a kick which Wakeman caught. But that led to a nasty enziguri as the thud was heard around the stadium. Daniels rolled him over and hooked the leg deep and got 1....2....., but Wakeman kicked out. Sensing victory, Daniels slung him to the corner and charged in but Wakeman moved and he hit the corner chest first. Daniels staggered out of the corner and right into the awaiting arms of Wakeman who hit the "Royal Flush" and hooked the leg for the win. Match Time: 7:33 Final Match: Chris Benoit vs. Travis Wakeman Wakeman and Benoit locked up and neither man could gain an advantage. After a terrific amatuer exchange, the fans came to their feet in applause. But the action picked up and Wakeman reversed an irish whip to the corner and followed in but caught a kick to the mouth. Benoit exploded out with a clothesline but Wakeman ducked and he blasted Chioda. As the action continued, Chioda got to his feet but Kanyon had come down to ringside and he distracted him as Brock Lesnar got into the ring and hit Wakeman with the "F5" before quickly leaving. Not realizing what happened, Benoit recovered from a t-bone suplex and saw Wakeman down. He then went to the top rope and hit his flying headbutt and covered Wakeman for the 3 count to win the Gauntlet. Wilson: "Chris Benoit has won it"! Coachman: "But this is a travesty Dan! Lesnar has screwed Wakeman"! Wilson: "Well last year at Outbreak, Benoit took home the Turkish Cup and tonight, he's got the golden Singapore Cane"! BENOIT WAS PRESENTED WITH THE CANE AS "WHATEVER" BY OUR LADY PEACE HIT. Coachman: "Yeah, lightning is striking two and three times tonight"! Wilson: "Well up next, we've got a lumberjack match that is gonna feature the superstars of RAW and these two guys really don't care for each other Coach". Coachman: "And they should, they're cousins"! A VIDEO PACKAGE CHRONICOLING CAREER HIGHLIGHTS FOR BOTH JERRY LAWLER AND THE HONKY TONK MAN IS SHOWN. Lumberjack Match Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. The Honky Tonk Man w/ Greg Valentine Valentine came out with the Honky Tonk Man but got lost in the shuffle of all the lumberjacks who were mostly brawling with each other. The Undertaker and Malice tangled as Hulk Hogan and High Octane battled Steiner and Triple H. In the ring, Lawler was dominating an out of shape Honky Tonk Man who could mount no offense. Lawler went for his vaunted piledriver after connecting with a fist off the middle rope but HTM countered with a backdrop. But Lawler countered a right hand and scored with 3 of his own before bouncing off the ropes. However, HTM used a low bridge with the top rope and Lawler went to the floor. the lumberjacks on the side of the ring jumped on him but as Lawler got up, Spawn ducked a running boot to the face from Nash and it nailed Lawler. Strife and Bahamut battled into and through the crowd as Spawn hit Nash over the head with a steel chair twice. Valentine took advantage of the situation and rolled Lawler into the ring as HTM made the cover and got the 1....2....3. Match Time: 9:37 Coachman: "I can't believe it! The Honky Tonk Man has won a match where he literally did nothing"! Wilson: "Lawler was victimized by the big boot of Big Sexy"! GOLDUST HAD GRABBED THE MIC. Goldust: "The winner of this match.... the man who loves to give that Honky, honky, honky love..... JUST THEN, GOLDUST WAS BLINDSIDED BY NEMESIS WHO GAVE HIM A SERIOUS BEATING. IN THE RING, HONKY TONK MAN HAD THE MICROPHONE AND HIS GUITAR. Honky Tonk Man: "Are you all ready to here some singing? I know most of you might not understand english, but trust me, I'm gonna go real slow". THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOS. Coachman: "Someone get the hook". HONKY's THEME MUSIC HITS. Honky Tonk Man: "I got my long sideburns and my hair slicked back, I'm comin' to your town in my pink..... HONKY TONK MAN COULDN'T GET OUT ANOTHER WORD AS HULK HOGAN CAME IN AND DELIVERED 3 RIGHT HANDS BEFORE CLOTHESLINING HONKY OUT OF THE RING AND THEN HE DID THE SAME TO VALENTINE. BUT HOGAN WAS JUMPED BY ALL 4 MEMBERS OF CIVIL RIGHTS WHO GAVE HIM QUITE A BEATING UNTIL HIGH OCTANE AND THE UNDERTAKER GOT IN AND CLEARED THE RING. BUT TEDDY LONG CAME FROM BEHIND WITH A STEEL CHAIR AND WHACKED THE DEADMAN ACROSS THE BACK. UNDERTAKER SLOWLY TURNED AROUND AND GRABBED LONG BY THE THROAT. LONG PLEADED WITH THE WORLD CHAMP WHO FINALLY LET HIM GO BUT THE SECOND HE DID, HIGH OCTANE BLASTED HIM WITH THE "HEAD ON COLLISION" SUPERKICK. THE CROWD THEN CAME UNGLUED AS HOGAN BEGAN CLAPPING HIS HANDS IN SIGNAL FOR THE ATOMIC LEGDROP. WITHOUT HESITATING, HOGAN DROPPED THE BIG LEG ON TEDDY LONG AS THE CROWD WENT NUTS AND "YOU'RE GONNA PAY" HIT. Wilson: "Listen to this crowd! They've lost it"! Coachman: "No one does it like the TWF and I think these people realize it"! BACKSTAGE.... SHAWN MICHAELS WAS SHOWN FOLLOWING BROCK LESNAR. Michaels: "I told you not to get involved Brock, huh, uou wanna test me"?! JUST THEN, LESNAR TURNS AROUND AND BLASTS MICHAELS WITH A CLOTHESLINE AND HE GOES DOWN HOLDING HIS THROAT. Lesnar: "I don't know, you wann test me Shawn"? Coachman: "Brock's gonna pay for that, I can assure ya. But it's time for our big main event Dan and the big question is, what role will the ref play in this one"? Wilson: "Well Drew Blood and Austin have had their battles but Rob Van Dam has the gauranteed shot at that Universal Title so I don't know". "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Rob Van Dam Special referee: Drew Blood It was clear that both men were fan favorites but it was hard to tell who had more support. As the two were feeling each other out, Austin gave RVD the double bird and then did the same to Drew Blood. But RVD was able to get in the first shots with some quick forearms but Austin jumped over a footsweep off an irish whip and hit the Thesz press. Austin then hit his patented elbow drop and went for a cover but RVD was up at 1 and a half as Drew Blood made a pretty good count. But RVD blocked a right hand and hit a spin kick to the jaw followed by the Rolling Thunder and Drew's count was not as consistent, in fact much slower. RVD got in Drew Blood's face when Austin rolled him up from behind for a near fall. He then whipped him to the ropes but RVD used a leapfrog and caught Austin with an immediate kick to the face. Suddenly, Rhyno came out of the crowd and into the ring and drilled Drew Blood with the "Gore"! Rhyno then left as Austin waited for Drew Blood to get up and when he did, Boom, Stunner! That led to the "5 Star Frogsplash" by RVD as Austin called for some beers and his music hit. But he looked over at RVD and tossed him a beer and they popped them open and poured 'em down! Coachman: "I don't know what Rhyno is doing but what a way to end the night folks, this crowd is stoked"! Wilson: "Singapore will never forget this night! What an event"! Coachman: "For Dan Wilson, I'm the Coach! We'll see you for Saturday Night's Main Event"!
