HECTOR GARZA, A LEGEND IN MEXICAN WRESTLING, WAS SHOWN IN THE RING WITH A MICROPHONE. IN SPANISH, HE TOLD THE FANS THAT HE GAURANTEED TEAM MEXICO WOULD BRING HOME THE NATION's CUP, SOMETHING THAT MADE THE CAPACITY CROWD VERY EXCITED. THE CAMERA THEN SHOWED TODD GRISHAM AND THE HONKY TONK MAN AT RINGSIDE AS PSYCHOSIS' MUSIC PLAYED AND HE CAME OUT TO A HUGE, HUGE POP.
Todd Grisham: "Over eighteen thousand fans have jam packed Arena Monterrey but in the little brochure I have, it says the capacity is only eighteen thousand Honky".
Honky Tonk Man: "Well they added over one hundred seats on the floor and I don't think Mexico has ever been more excited for a wrestling event than this"!
YUJI NAGATA COMES OUT TO THE NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING THEME, ALONG WITH TATSUMI FUJINAMI.
Grisham: "For the third consecutive year, the TWF is making waves in another nation and that is definitely the case tonight as we are combining with our working partners AAA and New Japan for what should be a most unique event"!
HTM: "And you got me bringing color commentary... what more could you ask for"?
CHRISTIAN's MUSIC HITS AND HE IS IMMEDIATELY BOOED BY THE FANS.
Grisham: "The fans here in Mexico seem to share something with the fans in the U.S. already, a hatred for this guy! And we thank all of you over in the states who are joining us for the first ever webcast on TWF.com"!
HTM: "That webcast is a great idea, but it's not like being right here with the action Todd"!
A BLACK DRAGON APPEARS ON THE VIDEO WALL AND "OVER MY HEAD" BY LIT TRACK PLAYS AS DYLAN JANSENS COMES OUT WITH THE TWF HARDCORE TITLE.
Grisham: "It is a huge privaledge to be here no doubt and this will be the first of four matches to determine who will win the Nation's Cup, something I hear will become a TWF tradition Honky".
HTM: "That's why I wanna see either Rampage or PrimeTime taking it home but you can't discount these international stars"!
Grisham: "Christian and Jansens have a huge challenge in front of them as Nagata and Psychosis are far from pushovers... who do you like Honky"?
HTM: "I gotta go with Christian, he's in tremendous shape and I'd say he's easily the smartest guy out there"!
Nation's Cup Fatal 4 way #1 Psychosis vs. Yuji Nagata vs. Christian vs. Dylan Jansens With the fans still buzzing, the first fatal 4 way got started and with sudden death rules in effect, all 4 competitors were wary of making any mistakes. The international stars seemed to have some working agreement as they combined to take on both Christian and Jansens. But after Christian countered an arm wringer with a european uppercut to Nagata and Jansens was able to powerslam Psychosis as he charged in, Christian showed there was no working agreement between he and Jansens when he attacked him from behind. After a vertical suplex on Jansens, Christian held up his arms to taunt the crowd but Psychosis came from behind and dropkicked him through the ropes and to the floor. But before Psychosis could capitalize on that, Nagata came from behind and kicked his leg out. He then stomped on the right knee of Psychosis a couple of times before Jansens intervened but Nagata reverse an irish whip and put him down with a quick chop to the throat. Christian came back into the ring but he was a little stunned still and Nagata put him down with a sharp martial arts style kick. But when he turned around, Jansens came into the ring with a springboard dropkick and made the cover for the 1……..2…….., but that was all as Psychosis came and made the save. Psychosis then smashed Jansens with 2 stiff knifedge chops before sending him to the corner but as he charged in, Christian jumped in his way and smashed him with a clothesline. Christian then turned and charged Jansens but ran into a foot to the face followed by a cactus clothesline. Nagata moved in but Jansens caught his kick attempt and swept his feet out, locking in the old Dragon Stretch. Nagata looked sure to tap out but Psychosis broke it up with a basement dropkick on Jansens. He then pulled Nagata up and whipped him to the ropes but Nagata grabbed the top rope to stop his momentum and Psychosis landed hard. Nagata then locked in the Nagata Lock and it was all but over until Christian grabbed Nagata from behind and put him down with a reverse ddt. Jansens hit Christian with a couple right hands before whipping him to the ropes but Christian ducked a clothesline and waited for Jansens to run at him, using a low bridge with the top rope. Jansens landed hard on the floor and that set up a suicide dive by Psychosis in which he leapt over Christian and the ring ropes to smash into Jansens. Both men hit the barricade around ringside hard and the crowd loved it. In the ring, Christian ran at Nagata but the one time NJPW champion avoided contact and rolled Christian up with a pretty bridge to get the 1……..2……..3. Grisham: "Did he get him? I think he did"! HTM: "The referee is raising Nagata's hand"! Grisham: "And that gives Team Japan a huge advantage! I really thought Nagata was the toughest competitor in that match too Honky"! HTM: "Any of the four could've won it though Todd and that's the beauty of this event"! BACKSTAGE..... SHANE THOMPSON IS SHOWN WITH LUTHER REIGNS. Luther Reigns: "Oh no doubt, you'll make a great leader tonight". Shane Thompson: "Oh I know I will. JUST THEN, JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES UP. Oh look, it's the guy that didn't get named team leader of PrimeTime by Raven.... what a shock". Jordan Rockwell: "That's fine Shane, you can be the leader tonight, but I found the man who's gonna replace Rey Mysterio on our team tonight and there's not a dman thing either you or Raven can do about it. I got it cleared by someone with a little more authority and his match is next". ROCKWELL WALKS AWAY AS THOMPSON LOOKS A LITTLE CONFUSED. BACK AT RINGSIDE, LA PARKA IS COMING OUT TO A HUGE REACTION, DANCING AROUND AND HAVING A GOOD TIME. Grisham: "Who do you think Rockwell found"?! HTM: "It could be anyone Todd but we're not gonna have to wait long because Rey Mysterio was scheduled to take part in this match". THE NEW JAPAN THEME HITS AGAIN AND JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER COMES OUT TO A GREAT REACTION. Grisham: "Rey Mysterio has been added to tonight's main event to face Eddie Guerrero after Scott Steiner was apparently blocked from coming by the Network Police". HTM: "That's right, Steiner was supposed to be here to face Eddie tonight but somehow the Network Police stopped that and we now how an interdivisional match that these fans are probably gonna enjoy even more"! Grisham: "This is Jushin Thunder Liger, easily one of the most exciting competitors to ever enter a ring and he has done it all in Japan Honky.... a great pick for this event"! "DON'T PLAY WITH FIRE" BY 2 PAC PLAYS AND AUSTIN PYROMANIA COMES OUT WITH THE GORGEUOUS STACY KIEBLER. HTM: "Tatsumi Fujinami put together Team Japan and so far they have the one thing that's important in this contest.... one win". Grisham: "Austin Pyromania will challenge for the Rampage tag team titles at Anarchy Rulz and he very matter of factly said that he would try and win the Nation's Cup but not for the three guys he's teamed with"! HTM: "I find that very selfish myself"! THERE IS PURE SILENCE FOR A FEW MOMENTS WHEN SUDDENLY A LIGHTNING BOLT STRIKES THE ENTRANCE AND THE WORD "GUNDAM" APPEARS ONE THE VIDEO WALL. Grisham: "No way! It can't be"! KID GUNDAM STEPS OUT TO A HUGE RESPONSE. HTM: "Unbelievable. I didn't think we'd ever see this guy again". Grisham: "Kid Gundam was told just a few months ago that his career was over! Well it looks like Gundam has defied the odds because he is back"! HTM: "This is a great moment for sure Todd but there is still a match to get to"! Nation's Cup Fatal Four way #2 La Parka vs. Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Austin Pyromania w/ Stacy Kiebler vs. Kid Gundam All 4 men were very slow to get started, trying to feel each other out. But Gundam, out of action for months, attacked first, catching La Parka with a hard knifedge. Parka fired back with a handslap but Gundam took it and headbutted the masked man. Meanwhile, Pyromania grabbed Thunder Liger in a side headlock but THunder Liger shot him to the ropes. Pyromania took him down with a shoulder tackle and then locked in a single leg crap. But La Parka came from behind Pyro and put on a sleeper while he still had the hold on Liger. Gundam ended it all with a Mongolian chop to the back of La Parka's head. Pyro then let go of the hold and smashed Gundam with a clothesline. He then whipped him to the ropes and nailed a wheel kick. About 2 minutes later, La Parka charged Pyromania but collided with Thunder Liger when he moved. Pyro then picked up La Parka and shot him to he corner before running in with a hard yakuza kick. Pyro threw up his arms and was feeling a win coming until he turned into a savat kick from Gundam that sent an echo through Arena Monterrey. Gundam made the cover but La Parka broke it up and tossed Gundam over the top rope, following him out. But Pyromania was nearly out cold and Liger capitalized by going to the top rope and hitting a scintilating 360 moonsault into a pin to get the 1........2........3. Grisham: "Oh what a move! Thunder Liger has pinned Pyromania and given Japan their second victory in the Nation's Cup"! HTM: "And now Japan is all but gauranteed the cup Todd"! Grisham: "They are gauranteed at least a tie in which we'd have a sudden death type match but one of these other teams is gonna have to come together to tie it for that to happen"! THUNDER LIGER STOOD ON THE TURNBUCKLE AND RAISED HIS ARMS AS GUNDAM LOOKED ON FROM THE FLOOR. BACKSTAGE AREA..... JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SHOWN WATCHING THE ACTION FROM A MONITOR AND HE LOOKS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED AS DYLAN JANSENS COMES UP. Dylan Jansens: "Hey Jordan, sorry I didn't get the job done out there man, but it's good to see Gundam back". Rockwell: "No question about that and don't be down on yourself, we got two matches left". Jansens: "But can we count on Thompson"? RAVEN WALKS UP AND GETS IN BETWEEN THE TWO MEN. Raven: "Ya know, it seems to me as though you two should be concerned about more important things than a cup". RAVEN WALKS AWAY AND ROCKWELL TRIES TO GO AFTER HIM, GETTING HELD BACK BY JANSENS. Rockwell: "Let me go DJ, I'm tired of his b.s."! Jansens: "Just hold back, he'll get his". GRISHAM AND HONKY TONK MAN ARE SHOWN AT THE BROADCAST POSITION. Grisham: "What kind of representative is Raven of PrimeTime Honky? He doesn't even seem to care if they don't win the cup tonight". HTM: "He said they need to be concerned with more important things, whatever those are". Grisham: "Well I don't look for Rockwell to put up with it too much longer, he seems ready to beat the heck out of Raven"! HTM: "Well with Raven being his superior right now, I don't think it'd be a wise decision". SUDDENLY ON THE VIDEO WALL, A MAN IS SHOWN GOING THROUGH SOME VIGOROUS TRAINING, LIFTING WEIGHTS, RUNNING IN HEAVY CLOTHES AND JUMPING ROPE. THEN, "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN APPEARS IN THE VIDEO AND THE CROWD ERUPTS. Stone Cold: "This is Stone Cold Steve Austin with a message to everyone who watches PrimeTime! I have tried and tried to keep my nephew out of the business, but his persistence has paid off and the TWF has signed him to a contract! Mike Austin, my nephew is coming to PrimeTime with the respect all you guys wish you had! But trust me.... anyone who screws with him or pisses him off will have to deal with the rattlesnake and that's the bottom line.... cause Stone Cold said so"! Grisham: "Did he just say what I think he said"? HTM: "Yep.... Stone Cold Steve Austin's nephew is now a part of PrimeTime.... I didn't even know he had a nephew"! JAMIE NOBLE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. Grisham: "That'll be interesting to see how that plays out but fans of all the people who made this trip, I haven't seen anyone in a better mood than this man"! HTM: "Well yeah, because tonight he finally gets what he's been looking for for months.... a match with RVD"! "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT BLARES OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS AS DOES RVD's PYRO AS HE COMES OUT WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. Grisham: "This match will not be for the Universal title and it was set up as a warm up match by Raven who has coincidentally named himself the number one contender to that title"! HTM: "And I have it under good authority that that match will take place on the next PrimeTime"! Grisham: "The deck is certainly stacked against RVD! Can he get by Jamie Noble tonight"? Non-Title Jamie Noble vs. Universal Champ Rob Van Dam Noble attacked RVD before the bell rang, looking for the quick KO. He shot him to the ropes and kicked him in the gut before coming off the top side and delivering a swinging neckbreaker. Noble made the cover but could only get a 2 count. Noble then went for a suplex but RVD slung over him and ran him to the ropes but Noble held the top rope and then caught RVD with a back elbow. Noble pulled RVD up by the hair and whipped him to the corner, charging in with a hard clothesline. To the surprise of all the fans, the underdog Noble was taking it to the Universal champ. But his fortune changed when he put his head down too soon off an irish whip and RVD went into the splits and jabbed him with a quick uppercut. That led to a spinning legdrop and a cover but all he got was 2. Both men were up and RVD whipped Noble into the corner but when he charged in there was no one home and he posted his shoulder. Noble then delivered a backdrop suplex and covered him to get 1.......2......, but RVD was up. Noble began to grow frustrated but he knew he had RVD hurt. After a DDT, Noble went for another cover but again got 2 and 3/4. Noble finally decided to stick him on the top turnbuckle for a superplex but RVD blocked it by jabbing him 3 times in the ribs and pushing him to the mat. RVD stood up as Noble recovered and he flew off with a martial arts kick, connecting to the chest of Noble. RVD then twirled his hands, calling for the Rolling Thunder and the crowd came to their feet as he hit it and made the cover for the 1.....2.......3. Match Time: 5:57 RVD GRABBED HIS BELT AND HELD IT UP WITH A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE AS THE ENTIRE CROWD ROSE TO AN OVATION. Grisham: "Well... ya think RVD's warmed up"?! HTM: "That was impressive Grish, I'll give him that! But let's see him do that to Raven"! Grisham: "That match will happen on the next PrimeTime and....... JUST THEN, THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A BELL TOLLS 3 TIMES. what the"?! THE PALE FACE OF THE UNDERTAKER COMES ON THE VIDEO WALL AND HE IS WEARING A BLACK HAT. THE CROWD ERUPTS IN CHEERS. HTM: "Oh my God..... it can't be"! Undertaker: "Goldust...... you are either crazy or just plain stupid. But I could care less.... because at Anarchy Rulz.... your soul will be buried for good..... rest.... in....peace". Grisham: "The Undertaker has officially accepted the challenge of Goldust and Honky, I honestly don't think Goldust thought he would"! HTM: "I have no comment Michael, I'm gonna head to the crowd". THE HONKY TONK MAN LEAVES THE TABLE AND HEADS INTO THE STANDS WITH A MIC. Grisham: "The Honky Tonk Man is going into the crowd here and.... HTM: "Let me hear you guys.... how much do you like the TWF? THE CROWD LOUDLY SCREAMS Okay, well how badly do you wanna hear me sing tonight"? THEY ALL BOO AND THAT DRAWS A LAUGH FROM GRISHAM BUT JUST THEN, THE MUSIC OF WAR ON AMERICA PLAYS AND THAT LEADS ARIES AND HIROHITO OUT TO A HUGE CHORUS OF BOOS. Grisham: "Oh no.... I didn't know these guys were here! Don't let them ruin this"! Aries: "Do you people have any kind of self worth?! Hirohito and I condemn you for your support of America! What does America do for you?! You people disgust me"! HIROHITO WHISPERS SOMETHING IN ARIES' EAR. Grisham: "Apparently Aries speaks Japanese now". Aries: "Ah, that's it. Hirohito just reminded me. You people love America so much because you can go there and get everything you want and not do a damn thing for it! That is just another example of the corrupt government the United States uses and we are here to make sure that it....... Grisham: "Wait a minute"! THE CROWD GOES BERSERK WHEN ULTIMO DRAGON HITS THE RING AND TAKES BOTH ARIES AND HIROHITO OUT. HE THEN GRABS THEIR BLACK FLAG AND THROWS IT AT THEM. HTM: "I'm back Todd.... did you see that"?! THE DRAGON STAYED IN THE RING AND PLAYED TO THE FANS. IN JUST 5 DAYS.... SIX MEN ENTER THE MOST DEMONIC STRUCTURE IN WRESTLING HISTORY. SHOTS OF EDDIE GUERRERO, BRADSHAW, HIGH OCTANE, JUSTIN SANE, NEMESIS AND KURT ANGLE ARE SHOWN. ONLY ONE MAN WILL COME OUT VICTORIOUS. TWF ANARCHY RULZ, LIVE AND ONLY ON PAY-PER-VIEW, ORDER NOW!!! BACK TO LIVE ACTION, ESSA RIOS AND AKIO ARE IN THE RING AS "LYING FROM ME" BY LINKIN PARK HITS AND JOE COREY COMES OUT ALONG WITH ALEXIS LAREE WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. Grisham: "Anarchy Rulz in my opinion has a chance to be the sleeper pay-per-view of the year Honky and the match that this man is in is the one I'm most looking forward to". HTM: "Joe Corey will finally meet Shelton Benjamin one on one but tonight the focus is not on the King of Cable title, but rather the Nation's Cup"! "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC HITS AND PYRO POPS OFF IN 4 DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, SENDING THE PRO-ROCKWELL CROWD INTO A FRENZY AS JORDAN ROCKWELL MAKES HIS WAY OUT. Grisham: "Well, unless you're Raven of course". HTM: "One of these other three teams better do something here cause Japan has all but got it won"! Grisham: "All four of these men are part of the TWF roster so we've got some interesting battles here but how can you go against Jordan Rockwell"? HTM: "He calls himself the franchise, well he's gonna have to be to keep Team PrimeTime alive"! Nation's Cup Fatal Four way #3 Essa Rios vs. Akio vs. "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Alexis Laree vs. Jordan Rockwell This match was balanced out by two technical brawlers and two high flyers. In the early going, Rios and Akio took to the air and had success doing so. Akio knocked Rockwell down with a missile dropkick and Corey was caught with a standing moonsault by Rios. But Rios turned his attack to Akio and caught him with a shuffle sidekick followed by a sunset flip attempt. But Akio sat down and pulled his legs forward for a 1......2....., but Rios was out. Meanwhile, Rockwell and Corey were going punch for punch until Corey got in a kneelift. He then hit the ropes but Rockwell countered with a powerslam. Rockwell then ran and took out Akio with a hard clothesline but Rios came from behind and kicked him in the groin. He then tossed Rockwell through the ropes and the fans came to their feet as they'd seen Rios do what he was about to do many times before. He backed up into one corner and ran at the opposite, skying over the turnbuckle with a somersault attack but Rockwell moved and Rios slammed into the barricade! The fans could not believe it and Rockwell then threw Rios into the crowd, following him in as the fans slapped the backs of the superstars. In the ring, Corey was in control of Akio after a big piledriver but could only get a 2 count when out of nowhere, Austin Pyromania came running out with a kendo stick. He swung it as Akio and Corey were right by each other and a slight move by Akio caused it to strike Corey. Corey fell to the mat like a ton of bricks and Akio covered him, hooking the leg for the 3 count to clinch the cup for Team Japan. Grisham: "Oh my gosh! It's a clean sweep for Japan so far"! HTM: "And I think Pyromania just sabotaged everything for Rampage"! Grisham: "It's unclear whether he did that intentionally or if it was meant for Akio but one thing's for certain, Japan has won the Nation's Cup"! HTM: "I've been told that they're still gonna hold the other four way match and there will be a formal presentation to Japan afterwards... ya think Japan can win all four"? Grisham: "That remains to be seen but let's send it to the backstage area where Idalis is standing by with Chavo Guerrero". BACKSTAGE..... Idalis: "Chavo, how does it feel to be here tonight in Mexico for Breakdown"? Chavo Guerrero: "Well to be honest with you Idalis, it's worse than watching MTV when you were a VJ there! IDALIS LOOKS EXTREMELY OFFENDED. Oh yeah, I want someone to explain to me how the best Mexican wrestler alive, me, is left off the card for something like this. No wonder there's not that many people here"! JUST THEN, EDDIE GUERRERO COMES UP. Eddie Guerrero: "Hey Chavito, what's up homes? Ya know, there are all kinds of people out there esa but you know what vato.... they're all here to see me and Rey Rey later on! But as for you Chavo, it looks to me like you have bigger concerns right now". EDDIE WALKS AWAY AND WHEN CHAVO TURNS TO FOLLOW HIM, TAJIRI IS WAITING AND HE SPITS BLUE MIST IN HIS FACE! Grisham: "It's Tajiri with the mist! The man Chavo eliminated in the lightheavyweight title tournament just spit that blue ooze in his face"! BACK AT RINGSIDE.... LILIAN GARCIA IS IN THE RING, GETTING CHEERED AND WHISTLED AT. Lilian Garcia: "The TWF would like to thank all you fans here in Monterrey for helping to set a new Arena Monterrey record with eighteen thousand one hundred and twelve fans! It is now time for our SlaughterHouse match"! A latin rap song comes on as Super Crazy makes his way to the ring carrying the Mexican flag to a great pop. Grisham: "That is great news Honky, a brand new attendance record! (laughs) And Chavo just said there wasn't that many people here"! HTM: "I've been looking forward to this SlaughterHouse match because it is going to be for their undisputed title"! Grisham: "A great chance here for the insane luchador in front of the Monterrey crowd"!
"Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix hits and Marcus Hansen makes his way to the ring wearing a Shawn Michaels t-shirt and carrying the undisputed title in his hand. HTM: "I'm not sold on this guy as champ Grish"! Grisham: "He is the son of the legendary Stan Hansen who was better known as The Lariat and one thing I can tell you is that the popularity of SlaughterHouse has skyrocketed with him as champ"!
TWF Undisputed title match champion: Marcus Hansen vs Super Crazy The match started with a collar and elbow tie up which Hansen quickly won using his strength advantage to toss Crazy across the ring. Crazy went in for another but this time he used his speed and dropkicked Hansen's right knee, dropping him to his knees which gave Crazy the chance to dropkick Hansen again to the face, laying him out as Crazy quickly hit the ropes and landed a moonsault but only got a two count. Crazy set him in position and went for his triple jump moonsault, landing the first off the bottom rope and the second but when he went for the third, Hansen got the knees up. As Crazy tried to recover, Hansen crawled to the corner and pulled himself up and as Crazy got up and turned around, Hansen nailed him right on the chin with his superkick and covered him for the three count.
"Voodoo Child" hit again and Hansen went over and helped Crazy up and actually raised his hand out of respect. He then took Crazy's flag and held it up in the air before handing it to Crazy. As he left, he got a bigger pop then when he came in. Grisham: "What do you think of Hansen now Honky"? HTM: "Oh I know what you want me to say, that he's showing the proper respect but what kind of champion is that? I say he gets knocked off soon"! Grisham: "He waved the flag of this country and he carries the flag of SlaughterHouse as it stands right now"! BACKSTAGE AREA..... Both Rue Debona and Idalis are shown backstage with SlaughterHouse general manager Jesse Steele.
Rue Debona: "We are here with SlaughterHouse general manager Jesse Steele, but why did you ask for both Idalis and I to be here"?
Jesse Steele: "Well that's a good question Rue. You are both here because what I have to say pertains to both Rampage and PrimeTime. Ya see, I have once again outdone Stephanie McMahon and well...... I'd say I out did Raven but let's face it, a trained monkey is smarter then that dress wearing dunce, after all, I was the one who took my brands championship and had it defended here tonight and come on Idalis, was that a great title match or was it not"?
Idalis: "It was a great match. But what is the big announcement"?
Steele: "Get to the point type women! I like that, you should work for me on SlaughterHouse instead of for PrimeTime. Anyway, here is the deal, first I want to say I have secured the services of a few others that are here tonight and both of your shows did not cause I outdid them both. But for that you'll have to tune in to SlaughterHouse to find out who they are this week. Also I have secured the services of one of triple A's best and I mean a real legend in the company, referee Pepe Casas".
Rue: "That is a big an.........
Steele: "Whoa, that's big but that is not my major announcement".
Rue: "I'm sorry, so what is it"?
Steele: "What it is is the fact that I, not Stephanie McMahon or Raven have struck a deal to officially make SlaughterHouse the first TWF brand to hold a solo show right here in this very arena! So Stephanie and Raven..... better luck next time".
Both Rue and Idalis look shocked as Steele walks away with a smile on his face. BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, JUVENTUD GUERRERA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A LOUD, ENTHUSTHIASTIC CHEER. Grisham: "And speaking of SlaughterHouse, here comes one of their competitors now"! HTM: "The Nation's Cup has been decided Todd, I don't understand why we gotta have this match"! AN ENGINE LOUDLY REVS INTO "DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS" AND HIGH OCTANE COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. Grisham: "Well Team Japan is not gonna take all four of these because get this..... Hirohito is refusing to compete tonight due to what happened earlier with the Ultimo Dragon"! HTM: "What?! Can he do that"?! "READY TO DIE" BY HED LOUDLY PLAYS AS SHANE THOMPSON IS BROUGHT OUT WITH LUTHER REIGNS WHO WAS HOLDING THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. Grisham: "Apparently he and Aries have left the building so this will now be a triple threat"! HTM: "A triple threat for second place"? Grisham: "This event is about showing the world what the TWF can do Honky and second place or not, there is a matter of pride on the line here". Triple Threat Nation's Cup Match #4 Juventud Guerrera vs. "High Octane" Damion West vs. Shane Thompson w/ Luther Reigns As the bell sounded, an arena employee wheeled down a trophy case with the Nation's Cup inside it. In the ring, High Octane went after Shane Thompson, who he was in the ring with at last year's international event, Widespread Panic. But they were both taken out by a cross body block by Juvi who came off the top rope. He then shot Thompson to the corner and charged in but Thompson kicked him with 2 feet in the face before nailing High Octane with a flying forearm. Thompson then ordered Reigns to break open the trophy case, which he did. Thompson then threatened to destroy the Nation's Cup but Kid Gundam came out with a steel chair to make sure that wouldn't happen. After throwing the chair in Luther's face Sabu-style, he pulled Thompson out of the ring and the fight was on. In the ring, Juvi positioned Octane in the corner and went for the 450 splash but Octane rolled out of the way. When Juvi returned to his feet, Octane smashed him with the "Head on Collision" to get the 3 count. Meanwhile, Thompson and Gundam continued to brawl until Gundam hit a DDT on the hard arena floor. He then went and grabbed the cup, taking it up the ramp as cameras followed. HTM: "What the hell is he thinking"?! Grisham: "Kid Gundam has taken out the man who took the Intercontinental title from him but now he's got the Nation's Cup"! BACKSTAGE, GUNDAM OPENED UP A DRESSING ROOM DOOR AND INSIDE WAS TATSUMI FUJINAMI, YUJI NAGATA, JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER AND AKIO. WITHOUT SAYING A WORD, GUNDAM HANDED THE TROPHY OVER TO FUJINAMI AND LEFT THE ROOM. HTM: "Well if that wasn't weird"! Grisham: "Gundam has given the trophy to it's rightful owners, the country he was born in and has so proudly represented during his TWF career"! HTM: "Fujinami is more than happy.... look at him"! Grisham: "Congratulations to Team Japan on winning this year's Nation's Cup"! "619" HIT AND REY MYSTERIO POPPED UP AND THE CROWD WENT WILD. HTM: "Here we go.... these people have been waiting all night for this"! Grisham: "I think I've seen a hundred Rey Mysterio masks in that crowd tonight and here comes the man they all love"! HTM: "This could be the match of the year Grish"! "VIVA LA RAZA" IS HEARD LEADING EDDIE GUERRERO OUT TO PROBABLY THE BIGGEST CHEER ALL NIGHT. Grisham: "In five days he will be inside Hell in a Cell with five other men but tonight, he meets one of his best friends in this business and you're right, it could be the match of the year"! HTM: "So who do you like"? Grisham: "Well I'm a Rampage guy and I know PrimeTime likes to call Rey their sparkplug but I like to call Eddie our lifeblood"! Rampage vs. PrimeTime Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio No surprise, but this was the match of the night. After some quick exchanges on the mat that drew an applause, Rey fell right into a front facelock and the bigger Guerrero began to use his size to wear down Rey. Off an irish whip, Eddie shot him into the air and Rey landed hard on the mat, stomach first. Eddie then hit his trio of suplexes and went for a cover but Rey kicked out at 2. Eddie stayed on the attack and shot him to the corner for a monkey flip. But Rey landed on his feet and ducked a clothesline before hitting a front dropkick that knocked Eddie into the corner. That led to a monkey flip by Rey. Rey then went to the apron for a slingshot legdrop which he likes to call dropping the dime and he hooked the leg for the 1........2......, but Eddie was up. Eddie got up and stumbled into a drop toehold right over the middle rope. Rey then called for the 6-1-9 and he went for it but Eddie avoided it. Eddie then shot him to the ropes and went for a leapfrog but Rey caught him on his shoulders. He had trouble holding him up though and Eddie rolled forward into a victory roll to get the 3 count. Match Time: 7:30 REY LOOKED STUNNED AS THE BELL SOUNDED AND "VIVA LA RAZA" WAS HEARD. Grisham: "Eddie Guerrero has done it! What a win for Latino Heat"! HTM: "And Rey looks absolutely dejected"! Grisham: "Look at this! EDDIE HELPED REY TO HIS FEET AND OFFERED HIM HIS HAND. REY QUICKLY SHOOK IT AND THE TWO GAVE A QUICK HUG, A MOMENT THE FANS TRULY ENJOYED. What a show of class! This has been a classy night all around and I think it's safe to say the TWF has been a hit in Mexico"! THE SHOT FADED OUT WITH EDDIE AND REY STILL IN THE RING.
