Title:   Born in Shame
Author:  Nora Roberts
Publisher:  Jove

Review by:  Tia Caliente

The third and final book in the trilogy of the Concannon sisters from Ireland introduces us to Shannon Bodine, the illegitimate child of Maggie and Brianna’s father.  Shannon doesn't find out about her real father until her mother lays dying.  Shannon is contacted by her sisters, and invited to come to Ireland.  She agrees to do so, though she is extremely wary and still very upset by not only the death of mother, but also feeling that her entire life has been a lie.  She not only bonds with her sisters, but also meets and falls in love with Murphy Muldoon.  But is it enough to make her give up her successful career and life in New York City?

This book ties up the trilogy very well.  Nora Roberts successfully combines Irish folklore, love and passion.  I give this book 3 stars.  I recommend buying all three so that you can read them one after another.
