SEABROOK LIFTS HAWKS IN OT

Rookie Brent Seabrook's goal with 38.3 seconds left in overtime lifted the Chicago Blackhawks to a 2-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday night.

After killing a power play earlier in the extra period, the Blackhawks converted a 3-on-1 rush, with Mark Bell finding Seabrook in front for the winner. The puck hit Coyotes goalie David LeNeveu and trickled across the line for Seabrook's second goal of the season.

Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 28 shots for the Blackhawks, who had lost five of six.

LeNeveu finished with 34 saves.

After scoring four power-play goals in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Detroit, Phoenix was 0-for-6.

With the Coyotes ahead 1-0 just under three minutes into the third period, Chicago tied it on a power play when Rene Bourque knocked in a rebound for his third goal.

Neither team mounted a serious threat the rest of regulation.

Chicago's Martin Lapointe was called for hooking at 1:40 of overtime but Phoenix couldn't win it. Paul Mara broke his stick attempting a shot, and Khabibulin stopped slap shots by Shane Doan and Ladislav Nagy.

Phoenix wasted a prime opportunity midway through the second period.

With the Coyotes on a power play and the puck in the Blackhawks zone, Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith dropped his stick when he thought it was broken. Right winger Matthew Barnaby promptly tossed his stick to Keith.

The Blackhawks were down a man and a stick for about a minute, until Barnaby picked up Keith's stick.

Late in the period, Chicago's Kyle Calder sent a sent a shot over the net. The rebound slid between Bell's skates to Matt Ellison, but the net came loose, stopping play.

About two minutes later Phoenix broke the scoreless tie.

Boyd Devereaux found Doan on the right, and Doan rifled in his fifth goal with 1:45 left in the middle
