Morgan
sat in the stands and watched the crew set up for the next show. She had come to
the UAWF as a technical advisor nearly four months ago. In that time she had
gotten to know all of the “boys” except one, Jubei Hayabusa. But she could
see why. He was one of the hardest people to find. Most of the time he ran
alone, then again his only allies were the people paying him. No one trusted
him, and basically the entire roster wanted a piece of him. She shuddered when
she thought of his current employer, Warren Gertner. His father bought Warrens
way into the federation, and Warren never wasted an opportunity to brag about
how loaded his family was. Her first day he had cornered her and told her how
they had made it all in steel. That was the first time she had seen Jubei,
hanging back in the shadows studying her reactions. Thankfully Riot and Blitz
had bailed her out and had also been the first to somewhat befriend her. They
had come out and sat next to her. Both of them had accepted the role of
Guardian, even though both of them were trying to hook up with her. Morgan was
one of the few women that worked on the actual show. Most of them stayed at the
headquarters away from the action. To them getting in the ring and wrestling
wasn’t appealing. To her it was intriguing. Riot bumped her to get her
attention.
“You
really shouldn’t be out here by yourself. Warren may come back and try to
steal you away from us.”
“He
knows better than that.”
“You’d
be surprised.”
“This
coming from a man who lives to start fights.”
“There’s
nothing wrong with that. Wouldn’t hurt you to learn a thing or two about
fighting.”
“It
wouldn’t matter any of you could still pick me up and snap me in two.” Blitz
spoke up.
“Not
necessarily, you get a few good shots in and you might stand a chance.” She
turned to look at him.
“That’s
if I can get some shots in.”
“Well
if you’d take me up on my offer than I might be willing to show you a thing or
two.”
“How
many times do I have to tell you that I hate riding behind someone? Either I
drive, or I walk.” All three of them turned when they heard a commotion coming
from the backstage area. They soon saw its source when Warren and his entourage
stepped through the curtain.
“Now
there’s a first.”
“What?”
“Gertner
without Hayabusa.”
“No
he’s not, Hayubasa’s here. He hates traveling in a large group. Wouldn’t
mind finding the little bastard and encourage him to be more social.”
“You
and half the damn federation.”
“But
I’ve got a better reason than the rest of them. I want payback for Paul and I
have every intention of making him pay.”
” Revenge isn’t the answer Blitz.”
“You
say that now Morgan wait till he does something to you. Then we’ll have this
conversation again.”
“He
won’t do anything to me.”
“You
keep turning Warren down and he may come after you.”
“So
you want me to hook up with him?”
“Hell
No! You could hook up with Blitz or me. Come Morgan all we’re asking is one
night of your time.”
“Warren
would send Jubei after you guys and I don’t want that to happen.”
“Warren
doesn’t have to know.” Blitz cut in.
“He
might in a second.”
“What
makes you say that?”
“Because
he’s heading this way.” Warren waved off the crowd and walk up to them.
“Morgan
I’ve been looking for you everywhere.” He gave a disapproving glance to Riot
and Blitz. They gave it right back.
“Really
Warren, I’ve been here the whole time.”
“Well
now that I’ve found you I was wondering if you’d like to come have dinner
with me.” Morgan chewed her lip in thought. The three men all glared at each
other while she thought.
“Alright
Warren I’ll go but only as a business associate.” Riot and Blitz both gave
her a very hard look. Warren turned away and gave someone a signal. She turned
to Riot and Blitz.
“I’m
sorry; I promise we’ll do something later on.”
“Just
be careful. Call us if you need us.” Warren climbed the rest of the way up and
helped her down. Riot looked up and saw a figure above them. He tapped Blitz on
the arm and motioned upward.
“Told
ya.”
“Wait
till he leaves then we’ll follow him. That way if Gertner tries anything
we’ll be there to back her up.”
Morgan
kept looking over her shoulder wondering where Jubei was. They walked out to a
waiting limo where Morgan instantly stopped.
“We
aren’t staying here?”
“No
I have something set up for us back at the hotel.” He tightened his grip her
arm as he spoke.
“Warren
the show starts in an hour.”
“I
found someone to replace you.”
“Either
we eat here or I’m not going with you.” She tried to back away but his grip
wouldn’t allow her to go very far. She turned to see Jubei step out from the
shadows and walk behind her. Blitz and Riot came out of their hiding place and
went for Warren and Jubei. Warren pulled Morgan forward and into the waiting car
with Jubei right behind her.
Warren
pulled Morgan into his lap and wrapped his arms around her pinning her body
down.
“
You realize your ass is in so much fucking trouble.”
“
No it’s not. My people will say that Blitz and Riot started it and that I was
trying to save you. Just relax Morgan I don’t bite. All you have to do is say
yes and I’ll give you the time of your life.”
“
I can have the time of my life without you.” Gertner tightened his grip making
it painful.
“
Looks like I’ll have to hold on to you till you change your mind. What a
shame.” He was speaking to her like a child. Jubei watched the display before
him. He almost felt pity for her, but at the same time her presence angered him.
She was an added burden and a distraction. She was a weakness that they didn’t
need. Both men made their way back to the arena when Morgan had been secured.
“
She will be your downfall.” Warren looked up half surprised.
“
If she’s mine then she’s also yours. If anything she gives us an advantage
over Blitz and Riot.”
“
They won’t let up just because you have a friend of theirs. She’s not worth
all this trouble.”
“
I’m not paying you to speculate.” Jubei stood up and left partially
disgusted. He found a secluded spot and sat down. He was getting sick of
Gertner’s shit, but Warren was the only one who was willing to hire him. A
loud commotion put his senses back on alert. He could hear yelling. He backed
away to make sure he wasn’t visible. The ruckus came past him and he saw Riot
and Blitz beating Warren to a bloody pulp.
“
Either you bring her back here or we go get her but either way she ain’t gonna
stay with you much longer. There better not be a hair outta place either.
Otherwise we’ll make you wish your mother never brought your sorry ass into
this world.” Riot went to raise the lead pipe again but Blitz stopped him.
“
We won’t get anything out of him if he’s unconscious. Besides we’ve got
Genecide and Juggernaught tonight. You can beat it out of him after we’re
done.”
“
What about Jubei? He’ll be close by.”
“
This isn’t his fight. If I know him he won’t be thrilled about Morgan’s
presence and is probably looking to get her out of the way. Unless she pisses
him off or if the asshole down there tells him otherwise Jubei will leave her
be.” Jubei hadn’t heard the last part. He made his way back to the hotel.
The faster he got her back to the arena the easier his life would be. The last
thing he wanted or needed was either Blitz or Riot coming out and jumping him
during his match. Warren would have to get over it. He feared no one in the UAWF
but Warren did and she had made some powerful allies. He pulled the key out of
his pocket and prepared himself for a fight. He pushed the door open half
expecting her to jump him. Instead he found her unmoving on the bed. He walked
over and saw blood trickling from her temple. He shook her attempting to wake
her up. She let out a groan and shifted slightly. He pulled her up and shook her
again. Morgan’s eyes opened and she struggled to focus them. Jubei pulled her
to her feet and dragged her towards the door. Morgan pulled back when she
realized whom she was with. He tightened his grip on her arm and pulled harder.
“
I’m not going anywhere near him.” Jubei’s normal silence wouldn’t help
in this situation.
“
I’m taking you back to the arena.” Morgan hadn’t heard him. She seemed to
be getting more confused by the minute. She kept pulling away from him. By the
time he had gotten her out to the car he was sweating. Now he saw why they had
clonked her on the head. She was still out of it and didn’t know what was
going on. When she saw that they were going back to the arena she settled a
little bit. Her thoughts were clearer and she looked at Jubei.
“
Why are you doing this?” He didn’t respond. “ You’re not taking me to
Warren are you?” He shook his head no. The pulled into the arena and stopped
just inside the entrance. She took the hint and got out of the car. Morgan
hurried into the backstage area searching for Blitz or Riot. Their bikes were
still there so they hadn’t left. She heard a massive cheer and then a groan.
She approached one of her least favorite people, Genecide. It seemed like he
sensed her coming because he turned and gave her a stare. She took a step back
when she looked into his soulless crystal blue eyes.
“
Morgan where have you been?” He had a sick evil smirk on his face. She looked
down and saw that her clothes had been changed. Instead of jeans and a tank top
she was wearing black strapless leather dress that hit mid thigh, and a diamond
stud choker. Her shoulder length strawberry blonde hair had been pulled back
away from her face, and her temple was bruising from where they had struck her.
“
Um Warren dragged me back to his hotel. I’m looking for Blitz, have you seen
him?” Juggernaut walked up behind her making her jump.
“
No” He took a step forward and ran his fingers over the bruise. She was
suddenly trapped between them.
“
G you said that you’ve been looking for a valet for us. Morgan here looks like
she’s already to go. Bringing her out with us could throw Blitz and Riot.”
“
Looks like you’ll find them after all.” Both men dragged her towards the
curtain. Blitz’s music was fading and Genecide’s started up he stepped out
dragging Morgan behind him. He then pushed her in front using her as a partial
shield. She saw Riot’s grip tighten on the lead pipe in his hand, and Blitz
staring at the bruise on the side of her head.
Instead
of hindering Riot and Blitz Morgan’s presence made them fight harder. They
left Genecide and Juggernaught battered and bloodied in the middle of the ring.
Blitz jumped out of the ring and started walking her backstage, Riot trotted
behind him looking more insane than ever. Blitz ushered her into his locker room
and waited for Riot to come in before slamming the door and locking it.
“
Morgan you want to explain what happened? Because last I saw you, you were
wearing jeans and a tank top and you left with Warren.”
“
I did he took be back to his hotel room and knocked me out. Jubei woke me up and
brought me back here.”
“
Jubei Hayabusa?”
“
Yeah he brought me back and let me go. I was looking for you guys and I went to
ask Genecide where you all were and then Juggernaught walked up. They both
decided I was going to be their Valet.”
“
Did Gertner do anything to you?”
“
I’m not sure. He said that he was going to hold onto me till I gave in. When
we got up to the hotel they took me to the room and knocked me out. I woke up
looking like this.” Riot had begun to calm down. “ All I want to do is go
back to my hotel, get out of these clothes, and forget this ever happened.”
“
You can’t do that. Gertner’s going to be pissed that you got away and that
you showed up with Genecide and Juggernaught, and all three of them are going to
be pissed that you left with us. You’ve made some powerful enemies. I think it
would be better if you came back to the hotel with me.”
“
Why not Riot?”
“
Trust me, he gets very high strung after his matches and it takes him a while to
become his somewhat sane self again. You’ll be better off with me.”
“
I’d rather just go back to my room. They won’t try anything tonight. You
guys did a number on Juggernaught and Genecide and something had to motivate
Jubei to bring me back.” Riot spoke up.
“
Yeah a lead pipe to his bosses head.” Blitz shot him a look.
“
Was he bringing you back to Warren?”
“
No, he stopped just after we got into the building and waited for me to get
out.”
“
He let you go?”
“
Yes”
“
He didn’t hurt you?”
“
No. I’m telling you Blitz the only one that did anything to me was Gertner.
You can’t be serious about Gertner, Genecide, and Juggernaught all teaming
together.”
“
Stranger things have happened.”
“
If all of them are in the hospital than they don’t pose much of a threat.”
“
Gertner’s entourage poses a threat, and Jubei still works for him. Even if he
doesn’t like his orders he’ll still obey them.”
“
Blitz you’re over reacting.”
“
Dammit Morgan would you just shut up and listen. Hayabusa let you go because you
were a weakness to him. Warren’s bound to have seen what happened and has
probably already instructed him accordingly. You’re coming back with me, and
that’s final.”
“
Oh really, last I checked you were not in charge of my life. Now whether you
like it or not I’m going back to my hotel room so I can change. After that
I’m going to the emergency room so I can have my head checked. I’ll see you
in the morning, goodnight.” Morgan stormed out of the room and ran smack into
Lindsey, one of the federation photographers. She caught her camera before
bending down to pick up the rolls of film that she had dropped.
“
Where you rushing off to Morgan?”
“
Back to the hotel, and then to the emergency room. For some reason Blitz thinks
I need a babysitter to keep me out of trouble.” She stopped talking when she
remembered that Lindsey was also Warren’s personal photographer. “ How come
you’re not with Gertner?”
“
Because I can only stand so much of him a day and today I definitely reached my
limit. But I did get plenty of pictures of him getting his ass handed to him by
Riot and Blitz. I don’t think it would be wise for you to drive. How about I
take you straight to the hospital and go and get a change of clothes for you?”
Morgan gave her skeptical look. “ I promise no tricks. I’m paid to take the
pictures. Besides I’m on my way out.” The two women started walking.
“
Where are you going?”
“
The World Wrestling Federation. They said that they needed an in studio
photographer, and that they liked my work. All I have to do is wait out my
contract here and then I can leave.”
“
How long is that?”
“
About two more months. Plus I also get to quit my job with the Gertners. Let me
tell you how broken up I am about that.” Morgan let out a laugh as she got
into the small car.
True
to her word Lindsey came strolling into the hospital waiting room with a change
of clothes. Morgan went into the bathroom to change when Warren came down the
hall with Hayabusa at his side. She rushed into the bathroom before Warren could
see her, unfortunately Hayabusa had.
“
Morgan?”
“
Yeah.”
“
Don’t come out of here until I come and get you.”
“
Why?”
“
Because Warren and Hayabusa are right outside.”
“
Alright” Lindsey stepped back out of the door and came face to face with
Hayabusa. She looked over his shoulder to see Blitz and Riot walking thru the
doorway and into the waiting room.
“
I suggest you leave while you can.” He turned and followed her eyes till he
saw the problem. He turned back to her to tell her something except she had
slipped away from him. He moved over to a side door where he slipped out unseen.
Lindsey stuck her head out of the door and dragged Morgan with her. She helped
her over to a chair and sat her down. Blitz came over and pulled Lindsey away
from Morgan.
“
What in the hell do you think you’re doing?” Morgan stood up and pushed him
off of her.
“
She’s being nice and helping me out.”
“
She works for Gertner!”
“
I work for the UAWF. I take pictures of Warren as a way to pick up some extra
money. Believe me when I say that I’m not here to hurt her or trick her.”
“
Blitz calm down. Warren was just in here. If she really was going to hand me
over to him don’t you think she would have done it right then?” Blitz looked
at Lindsey before letting her go. She rubbed her arm a little before turning
back to Morgan.
“
I think I’ll head out. Looks like they can take care of you from here on
in.” Morgan rushed forward.
“
I think that would be best.” Blitz stepped in front of her.
“
Night Morgan, I’ll see you around.” Lindsey waved goodbye and walked out of
the door. The nurse came out and called Morgan back to be examined by one of the
doctors.
“
Blitz we’re not done.” She walked through the doors and into an examining
room.
She
had a mild concussion and was told to take a day or two off to rest. Morgan
called Lindsey up to come and get her. Blitz followed behind the two women.
“
If you want to Morgan I have a spare bed that you’re welcome too.”
“
It’s alright I’ll be fine. I’m really sorry about Blitz. He and Riot have
appointed themselves my protectors.”
“
It’s ok. You’re lucky that you have them. No one would care if anything
happened to me.”
“
What about your family?”
“
I haven’t spoken to my mom in about three years. I don’t know who my dad is,
so that rules him out.”
“
Oh, So have you informed the Gertners about your impending departure?”
“
Nope, I won’t do that until my contracts out. I have told them that I need
time off to go house hunting.” She pulled into the hotel and helped Morgan out
of the car. Blitz took over and got her inside. Lindsey Began rummaging through
the back of her car searching for her camera. Blitz cam strolling back out to
see Genecide, and Juggernaught walk behind Lindsey and pull her out of the car
and throw her onto the ground. Juggernaught dragged her to her feet and pressed
her into the car with his hand wrapped around her throat. Blitz moved closer to
listen.
“
Looks like we caught ourselves a rat.” Genecide gripped Juggernaughts wrist
and forced him to let go.
“
We need her conscious. She’ll be no use to us if she’s out cold.” Lindsey
had slid down and sitting on the ground coughing and gasping for air.
“
Where’s Morgan?”
“
I..I don’t know.”
“
We saw her get out of your car, why are you helping her?”
“
I was just trying to be nice.”
“
Did you remove her from Warrens suite?”
“
What? No, she ran into me and didn’t look fit to drive so I offered her a
ride.” Warren stepped out of the shadows and gave her a look of disgust.
“
We can look for Morgan in the morning. Chances are she’s with Blitz. Looks
like my little photographer will have to take her place.” He reached out and
yanked her up by her hair. Blitz had heard enough and stepped out.
“
I don’t think the lady wants to go with you.”
“
Speak of the devil. Where’s Morgan?”
“
In her room. Let her go Warren.”
“
Three against one? I’ll tell you what; we’ll make an even trade. The
photographer for Morgan.” Hayabusa looked on. His blood began to boil at the
way they were treating Lindsey. He slipped silently back to the waiting car
sitting next to the driver. Gertner held onto Lindsey while Juggernaught and
Genecide descended upon Blitz.
“
I’ll meet with you two Gentlemen after you disperse with our ever present
pest.” Warren dragged her to a waiting limo where he shoved Lindsey to the
floor and sped off. He held her there with his foot ensuring that she wouldn’t
get up.
“
You can’t do this Warren.” He gave her an evil laugh before yanking her up
to him.
“
Watch me, no one will really care about what happens to you. Besides you need to
pay for stabbing my family in the back.”
“
I swear I didn’t let her go! I’ve been with you up until you went back to
the hospital.”
“
You still helped her.” Before she could respond he kissed her hard on her lips
drawing a silenced scream. Hayabusa turned and watched the display with rage.
Gertner pushed her back to the floor with a thud and glared at her. “ A bitch
like you needs to learn her place. On her back or on the floor I’ll let
Juggernaught and Genecide have you. I’m sure they’d be more than happy to
teach you a few things.” The car stopped at the hotel and Lindsey was drug up
to Genecide’s room where she was left tied to a chair. Gertner made Hayabusa
stand outside and wait for them to get back.
Riot
came running out as the limo pulled away. The two quickly took care of their
attackers. Riot took both their room keys just in case. They followed Warren all
the way to his hotel and saw him place Hayabusa as a guard. Riot ran down the
hall at him forcing a fight. Blitz quietly slipped into the room and found the
poor woman battered, bruised, and tied like a sacrificial lamb. He ripped the
tape off of her mouth and coaxed a response.
“
Did they hurt you?”
“
Not yet.” He loosened the knots and had her back on her feet.
“
I think for your safety you had better stick with us.”
Morgan
was thrilled to have a female friend in the federation. In the following weeks
they had become attached at the hip. Lindsey didn’t wait for Warren to fire
her. The next show she quit, and threatened to sue him for assault and attempted
rape. He paid her off in order to keep it out of court. Morgan had noticed
Hayabusa always watching Lindsey as opposed to watching Warren.
“
I think he likes you.”
“
What?”
“
Hayabusa, I think he likes you. That would explain why he watches you. When
Warren’s not around he follows you.”
“
You’re nuts, you watch I’ll leave and nothing will happen.”
Morgan
hugged her friend goodbye and watched her step onto a plane headed for Stanford.
Hayabusa was surprisingly absent.
He
had practically ripped his hotel room apart.
The day Lindsey left. He had watched her for so long he thought he knew
everything about her. Apparently he didn’t. They would be getting some serious
time off soon. He would use that to track down Lindsey.
Taker
sat in Vince’s office wondering why he could go straight down to the shoot.
“
Is there any reason that you’ve called me in here?”
“
Yes, I know your track record with our studio photographers, it isn’t good.”
“
So I’ve made a couple quit.”
“
You’ve made six quit. They claimed you gave them such a hard time that they
couldn’t hold the camera still anymore.” He rolled his eyes.
“
Other than the fact that I give photographers a hard time is there any other
reason why I’m here.”
“
Yes, I want you to lay off and play nice. The photographer you’re working with
just came up from another federation.”
“
So.”
“
So this is her first studio shoot and I want you to lay off. If you do anything
that upsets her or causes her to quit you’ll be in serious trouble.”
“
Fine.”
Taker
wandered into the cool studio to see a woman getting a light reading off of the
set he would be working. She was slightly bent over giving him a fairly nice
view of her ass. His eye’s traveled up to the small of her back. He saw a
black dragon tattoo resting there. She flipped her hair back to get it out of
her way. It was long enough that it covered the tattoo up. One of the assistants
walked up to her giving her a condescending look.
“
I hope you realize that you got the biggest pain in the ass in the back as your
first shoot.”
“
He can’t be that bad.”
“
You’d be surprised. He’s made six other photographers quit, and he gave one
a metal breakdown.” Taker glared at the younger man.
“
Brian why don’t you do me a favor and see if he’s here. After that I need
you to go see if the wardrobe lady is done with the Diva’s stuff yet.” Taker
waited till he left before he alerted her to his presence.
“
Yeah I’m here.” She turned around slightly startled.
“
I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize that you were standing there. I didn’t mean
to keep you waiting.” He seriously thought about how to respond. She sounded
very sincere, and had stuck up for him. Vince’s words also echoed through his
mind. He didn’t need anymore-bad press or rumors flying around.
“
It’s alright, I had just gotten here. Meeting with Vince ran a little long.”
“
Ok by the way my name’s Lindsey, it’s nice to met you.” She held out her
hand to shake his.
“
Name’s Mark, but everyone round here call me Taker.” He lightly gripped her
hand. Brian came strolling back in with the wardrobe. He stopped dead in his
tracks when they shook hands. He cleared his throat alerting them to his
presence.
“
Here, she’s not happy with you rushing her.”
“
Well I’m sure that she understands Taker is a busy man and probably doesn’t
want to be kept waiting any longer than he has to be.” She gave him a smile
before handing him the clothes.
“
I think they’re in order. Everything’s set so we’ll start when you’re
ready to go.” When he came out the set had filled up with people. Lindsey’s
small frame seemed lost in the sea of people. He saw her making last minute
adjustments to the lights. Taker walked over to her and caught her when she lost
her balance. Her face was bright red when he set her down.
“
Thanks.”
“
Welcome, but this is why you have an assistant.”
“
I know but I don’t trust his judgment. Plus it’s easier for me to do it
myself. So are you ready to get started?” To her the shoot ended to quickly
and he was out the door with another one coming in. She actually found Chris
Jericho to be more of a problem than Taker was. He wined and bitched while they
reset the set. By the time Rikishi came strolling in she was at her wits end.
But she still kept her smile and calm attitude despite what she was thinking.
Lindsey came into the house to the phone ringing. After five photo shoots she
was exhausted, but she ran and picked up the phone on the first ring.
“
Hello from up North.”
“
Well hello from down south. So how are things in the WWF?”
“
Fine, how are things in the UAWF?”
“
Well, Blitz and Riot miss you, but they’re getting better about it. Warren is
Warren. Hayabusa has been surprisingly absent. The only time I see him is when
he has his matches.”
“
Are things any better with the unholy alliance?”
“
Nope, they won’t leave me alone. Genecide follows me everywhere, and
Juggernaught always tries to grab me. I’m getting sick of it.”
“
I bet.”
“
But I do have news!”
“
You got a job up here.”
“
No Blitz and Riot did.”
“
Who’s going to look out for you?”
“
They’re not leaving for a few more months.” Morgan heard Lindsey’s
doorbell ring.
“
Who in the hell is that?”
“
I don’t know I’m not there with you.”
“
Well you should be.” Lindsey opened the door and saw Taker standing on the
other side.
“
Who is it?”
“
The Undertaker.”
“
Bullshit.”
“
I’m serious Morgan.”
“
Un huh sure Linds.” A deep voice came over the line.
“
Is this Lindsey’s friend Morgan?”
“
Oh my god.”
“
Morgan I’m going to go I’ll talk to you soon.”
“
Alright, bye.”
“
Bye.” Someone knocked on the door. She opened it and was knocked to the floor.
She came face to face with Juggernaught who pulled her up and pushed her out the
door. He clamped a hand over her mouth to keep her quiet. Genecide came out of
the room with her cell phone. He clicked off the light and quietly shut the
door.
“
Lets go. We don’t want to keep Warren waiting.”
Meanwhile
back in Stanford….
Taker
stood in the doorway waiting to be invited in. Both of them were oblivious to
what was happening to Morgan.
“
Hi.”
“
Hello, hope you don’t mind that I stopped by?”
“
No, no I’m just wondering how you found out where I lived.”
“
I asked one of the secretaries. You mind if I come in?”
“
No not at all. I’m just a little surprised that you came by.”
“
Don’t know anyone else is this town, and I thought I should come by and thank
you for being so nice to me despite my record.”
“
You’re welcome, I figured Brian was just saying that to make me nervous.”
“
No it was all true. I don’t particularly care for photo shoots or
photographers, but after today I may have to change my opinion.”
“
Oh, that’s good.” She gave him a nervous laugh. He seemed different much
more relaxed.
“
Where did you come up from?”
“
UAWF, it’s a small federation down south. Do you want something to drink?”
“
Whiskey if you’ve got it. You got anyone besides your friend down south?”
“
Nope didn’t have time for anyone.”
“
Really?”
“
I worked two jobs down there.”
“
What was the second job?”
“
I was a personal photographer for one of the wrestlers. I used to have to follow
him everywhere and take pictures of him doing every little thing. I hated it but
it paid really well. I made more from him than I did from the federation. The
money helped me buy this place. It’s not much but at least it’s mine.”
“
It’s nice.” He sat down on the couch when she handed him his drink.
“
What did you do before you became a photographer?”
“
I was bartender. It helped to get me through college. Other than to thank me is
there another reason you stopped by or do you always visit the federation
photographers?” He laughed.
“
No, just wanted to make sure you’re for real is all. It’s not everyday the
WWF hires a legitimately nice person. Most of the photographers blow us off.
They really don’t care about how we look. They sure as hell wouldn’t bother
with the most flattering light.”
“
Do you want to see how some of them turned out?”
“
You have them already?”
“
I have the contact sheets. I won’t make the actual prints until I sit down
with magazine editor. Let me go get them.” She rushed out of the room and down
the hall. He picked up a photo album and started flicking through it. He
polished off his drink and waited. She came back down the hall with the sheets
and a magnifying glass.
“
Sorry I had four other shoots after yours. Took me a few minutes to find
them.” She sat down right next to him and pulled the coffee table forward. “
Tell me what you think.” She held out the glass to him. He took it from her
and started examining the pictures.
“
Not bad for you’re first shoot.”
“
I had a good subject.” She gave him a small smile. He raised an eyebrow at
her. She looked away. “ Do you want another drink?” His hand travel around
her back and began massaging her neck muscles.
“
Nope.” She looked back.
“
I need to put your contact sheets back.” She stood up and picked up the
sheets. He watched her go.
“
This could get interesting.” The phone rang again. He walked down the hall
wondering why she hadn’t come back.
“
What do you mean she’s gone? Blitz you were supposed to be watching her!… Is
there any sign of forced entry?… All right let me talk to my boss and see if I
can fly back down there. What do you mean stay where you are? Blitz I’m coming
back down there to help you find her…. Fine I’ll stay, but you better call
me and give me updates. Alright Blitz I’ll talk to you later, Bye.” She hung
up the phone and ran smack into Taker. He caught her before she fell to the
floor.
“
Everything alright?”
“
No, but it’s nothing you need to worry about. You seem to have a knack at
catching me before I fall.”
“
It’s a gift. If you don’t mind I’m gonna head out. I’ve got an early
flight to catch and I don’t want to oversleep.”
“
No it’s fine. I don’t want to get you into any trouble.” She walked him to
the door. “ Come back whenever you need to.”
“
Trust me darlin I will.” He gave her a sly smile before leaving.
Back
in Alabama….
Morgan
screamed all the way to the car. Juggernaught found it difficult to keep her
quiet. Both of them maneuvered her into a waiting limo. Juggernaught held onto
her while Genecide slipped a pair of cuffs onto a door handle and then slid her
wrists into the steel. The driver peeled out of the parking lot with his three
occupants in tow. Genecide ran his hands through her strawberry blonde hair.
“
What do we do with her now?”
“
We take her to Warren, and hopefully Hayabusa won’t screw him over.”
“
Does he know that she’s coming?”
“
Warren does, Hayabusa doesn’t. Warren’s got a special place to keep her.”
Morgan began praying for any intervention. Unfortunately she didn’t get any.
They pulled into a small private airport. She saw Warren’s plane sitting on
the tarmac and knew that she was in serious trouble. They used her distraction
to slid one of her wrists and one of the cuffs out of the handle of the door.
Warren stepped out of the small plane and eyed his prize.
“
Welcome back Morgan. I was afraid you weren’t going to come.”
“
Go to hell.”
“
I’d rather have you and go to heaven.” Morgan thought she was going to be
sick. Juggernaught lifted her up and carried her onto the plane.
That
night seemed so far away. It had been two months and winter had set in. She had
no clue where she was. Morgan looked over to the fireplace and the sitting area
around it. She knew she was in the basement of the house because she could hear
the movement above her. The room remained cold despite the fact that there was a
raging fire burning in the fireplace. Warren had made the room comfortable but
not too comfortable. He had laid the floor with slate tiles discouraging her
from getting out of the large bed that sat at the base of the stairs. Her hair
had grown to the middle of her back and Warren was showing no sign of letting
her cut it off. She watched as the bright Christmas lights shown through the
night sky. She missed her family. Her mom’s home cooking, her brother’s
teasing her and ambushing her with snowballs. She was even starting to miss
Blitz and Riot. She figured that they were on their way to the WWF by now. The
panel above her clicked and emitted Warren. He really was over the top. He came
down the stairs carrying a plate piled with food, utensils in his smoking jacket
pocket.
“
Dinner my love.” She shut her eyes and desperately tried not to scream. He sat
down and set the plate next to her. After her first attempt of trying to escape
they chained her to the bed, they had chosen to chain her wrists to either side
of the bed with short chains so they could limit her movement.
“
I’m not very hungry.”
“
That’s impossible! You’re practically wasting away.” Which was true she
only ate one meal a day and that was the one that the maid brought her after
Warren went to sleep. The older woman had taken pity on her. She had helped her
escape the first time, and tried to get a hold of Blitz, Riot, or even Lindsey
but had had no apparent luck. Hayabusa had been surprisingly absent which made
her wonder what was up.
“
Where’s Hayabusa?”
“
Gone.” He began to run his hand up her leg, which she pulled away.
“
Where would he go?”
“
He never tells me anything. It’s his vacation let him do what he wished with
it. Knowing him he’s probably spending it in a dark hole somewhere.” He
forcefully pulled it back down. She strained against the chains to try and stop
him from maneuvering her onto her back. Without
her hands she was virtually defenseless. He quickly grabbed her other leg and
pulled her totally onto her back. Carefully forcing her legs apart he attached
them to opposite sides now leaving her spread-eagled and giving him what he
wanted without having to ask. He pulled off the smoking jacket revealing his
bare chest but his bottoms remained on. “I think it’s time you knew exactly
what it’s like to be denied the one thing you so desperately want.”
“
I already have been. You’ve taken the right for me to live my life like I want
to.
“
I think I’d like desert tonight.”
“
You stick anything in my mouth and I’ll bite it off.”
“
I’m not going to do a thing to you.” He had an evil expression on his face.
He pulled out two dildos and a battery pack. He shoved one into her without and
lubrication causing her to wince. He turned the second one on and set it
directly onto her clit causing her to jump. He held it there as her body began
to respond. When he saw that she was ready he pulled it away and turned the
other onto the lowest setting possible. He continued this for a few hours every
night. After a few days Morgan felt as if she were going to explode. Warren was
enjoying his fun with each passing day till one night he didn’t stop the
stimulation in time and she finally came. Morgan’s entire world turned white.
She strained against the chains that held her to the bed. Warren had never seen
anything like it. Her orgasm lasted for a good twenty minutes and she didn’t
wake up until the next morning.
Meanwhile
Hayabusa was making his way back to his masters home. He had many questions to
ask him and seeing as his master was losing the battle for his life Hayabusa’s
time was limited.
He
walked into the small dojo and looked around for any sign of life. A voice from
the darkness made him turn.
“
Jubei Hayabusa, you’re a face I thought I would only see again in hell.”
“
Master?”
“
You come seeking advice about a matter of the heart?” How did he know? “ You
were never good with things of that nature.”
“
I never had to be.”
“
This girl has made you lose your original purpose. You must meditate and refocus
yourself otherwise you won’t become what you wish to be.” Hayabusa bowed and
left the dojo contemplating his options, that’s when he decided to pay Vince
McMahon a visit.
Lindsey
looked out onto the snow with wonder. She had never seen so much of it before.
The roads were covered with a thick layer of ice making it next to impossible to
drive. So she had called into work and told them that she couldn’t get out of
her driveway. After that she had gone out and played in the white powder. She
got in several snowball fights with the neighborhood kids and had them help her
make a snowman in the middle of her yard. Now she had a roaring fire going and
was sipping on hot chocolate. It had started snowing again burying her car
deeper. She started dozing on the couch when someone started banging on her
door. The room was being lit by the fire and also heated by it. She wrapped the
fleece blanket around her shoulders and went to the door.
“
Who is it?”
“
It’s Taker open the damn door it’s fucking cold out here.”
She quickly undid the locks and opened the door. He rushed in to try and
warm up. “ Damn it’s not much warmer in here.”
“
Yeah power went out. What are you doing here?’
“
I had a meeting with the boss today. When I left the airport had been closed
because of the ice. Took me two hours to get here. Speaking of work where in the
hell were you today. I was going to come down and see my favorite photographer
and harass her assistant but they told me that she had called in sick.”
“
I didn’t call in sick, I called in telling them I couldn’t get out of my
driveway.”
“
Is that what that big mound of white is in the driveway?”
“
Yes.”
Over
the past two months she and Taker had gotten closer. He had gone to Vince and
told him that he only wanted to use Lindsey from now on. So now whenever he had
to do a photo shoot she was either flown to where he was or he flew into
Stanford.
She
took his hand and pulled him over to the fire to help warm him up.
“
You got another one of those blankets?”
“
No but I can get the comforter off of my bed.” She took blanket off of her
shoulders and handed in to him. She dashed up the stairs and came back with a
quilt and some other blankets. “ Will these work?”
“
Yeah, you got anymore wood?”
“
Plenty, I lost a tree in a storm. It’s down in the basement. You want me to
grab more?”
“
I want you to sit down and help me warm up.” She gave him a confused look
before he reached up, grabbed a belt loop on her jeans and pulled her down on
top of him. She blushed a little as he ran his hands over her back.
“
I really wish you would reconsider coming out on the road.”
“
And give up all this? Give up your surprising me? Hell no.”
“
Tricky little minx aren’t ya? You’re not the only one with a little cunning
in them. I also hope you have plenty of provisions. I think we might be here for
a little while.”
“
I went shopping yesterday, before the heavens opened.” He ran his hands up to
her neck and pulled her down. Her lips felt as soft as her skin. He ran his
tongue on her bottom lip silently asking her to open up. Her small form trembled
as she granted him access. She tilted her head a little letting him explore a
little deeper. He finally let her up for air and gave a smile.
“
Wow.”
“
Told ya.”
“
Now where does a big scary guy like you learn how to kiss like that?”
“
You learn many things when you travel for fifteen years straight. If you want I
can show them to you.”
“
Any of them a way to keep warm?” He thought about it for a moment before
responding.
“
Yeah.” His hands went up under her shirt and felt for a bra. We smiled when he
didn’t feel one. “ Nice to see that you made things easier for me.”
“
If I had known you were coming I would have put on layers to make it more
fun.”
“
You would have been in so much trouble if you had.” His hands bunched up her
shirt and lifted it over her head. Her body instantly reacted shivering in the
cool air.
“
Mark I don’t think taking off my clothes is a good way to keep warm.” He let
out an evil laugh before taking off his own shirt and kissing her again. He
pushed her down to the floor in front of the fire and felt for the top of her
sweat pants. When found them he pulled the pants and panties of with on
movement. His eye’s swallowed the way her body looked in the firelight. He
murmured his approval before stripping off his jeans and hovering over her. Her
long auburn her was pooled out around her. He leaned down and picked up where he
had left off. Her hands traveled through his hair and down his back. By this
point he broke the kiss one last time.
“
You want to go on?”
“
Yeah.” This time she pulled him down and wrapped her legs around his waist
waiting for him to enter her. The fire cast their shadows on the wall making
them look almost demonic.
The
next morning Lindsey woke up by the dying fire wrapped up in something heavy and
warm. She looked up to see Mark’s shoulder looming above her. The lights above
hurt her eyes. However the phone jolted her back to reality.
“
Hello?” She began rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
“
Linds”
“
Morgan? I that you?”
“
Listen I can’t talk for very long. Use the number on your caller I.D. I’m
using one of the phones in the actual building. Someone’s coming I have to
go.” Before Lindsey could respond she hung up. When Mark woke up he saw
Lindsey sitting at her dinning room table talking on the phone. He quietly slid
his clothes back on and walked over to her.
“
What’s up?”
“
My missing friend called me. The police are tracing the number now. I hate being
put on hold.” He smiled and started massaging the tense muscles in her neck.
“
I was thinking maybe you could come back to Florida with me for Christmas.
Unless you’re going to see your family.”
“
I don’t think my mom would be to happy to see me. Yes hello did you trace it?
You traced it to where? All right what’s the next step? Sit and wait, that’s
what we’ve been doing for the past two months.” She hung up the phone and
leaned back into Mark. “ We’ve been letting them handle it and all they’ve
done is sit on their asses. I’m half tempted to fly down there myself and get
her back.”
“
No your not, you’re going stay right here.” His stomach growled right in her
ear.
“
How about I fix you some breakfast.”
“
Well if you insist.”
“
What are they going to do if you don’t show up at the show?”
“
Vince knows the airport was closed. I’ll call him here in a minute and tell
him that I’m snowed in.”
“
I think you planned this.”
“
How in the hell could I plan a snow storm?”
“
I meant getting snowed in here.”
“
I’d rather be here than in some hotel or the airport. This place has the best
service around.”
“
Something tells me I spoil you.”
“
I’d rather be spoiled than neglected.” He picked up the phone and dialed
Vince’s number. He picked up on the second ring. “ You got out of your
driveway, I’m impressed.”
“
Funny Taker, where are you?”
“
I’m still in town. I’m staying at a friends and it seems my car it buried
under three feet of snow, and frozen to the street.”
“
That’s alright we’ll do the show without you. I don’t think you could get
out of any airport up here. They’re saying it’s the worst storm in twenty
years. Just wait it out and I’ll see you whenever you get back.” Mark walked
into the kitchen looking for Lindsey. Instead a snowball pegged him.
“
You little bitch.” He ran back grabbed his coat and went out after her.
The
police surrounded the small house waiting for the right moment to descend upon
it. Blitz stood by one of the cars with Riot by his side.
“
You’re sure she’s in there?”
“
This is where they traced the number too. Hopefully they didn’t alert them to
our presence.” Both watched as they kicked the door in and swarmed into the
house.
Gertner
came rushing down the stairs with the driver, and Hayabusa right behind him. He
turned and looked at Hayabusa.
“
Kill her.”
“
I think not.”
“
I gave you a direct order!”
“
You also gave me an order to stay away from her.” He turned to the driver.
“
Kill her and dump her somewhere far away from here.” Morgan knew she was a
sitting duck being tethered to a bed. The driver went and got the poker from the
fireplace. When he came back Morgan was desperately trying to get off of the
bed. She heard the footsteps above her and screamed for help. He reached back
with poker came down hard with it. Hayabusa reached out at the last second and
stopped him.
“
You kill her and we’ll be in more trouble than she’s worth.” He turned to
Gertner. “ I say we pop the panel from the back door and get out of here.”
“
I’m not leaving.”
“
Warren do you want to get arrested?”
“
No.”
“
Then I suggest you follow me.” The three men left her sitting on the bed, and
headed for a panel behind the fireplace. She heard the panel at the top of the
stairs and watched as the three men disappeared.
Blitz
and Riot walked into the back room and saw part of the wall popped. They opened
it and went down the stairs and found Morgan chained to a bed. She turned when
she heard them come down.
“
Blitz, Riot! You’re here.”
“
Where’s Gertner?”
“
He and Hayabusa slipped out of the back way. I’m sure they’re long gone.”
“
We can still catch them.”
“
And do what? Beat them up, have them arrested? At this moment I could care less.
All I want to do is go home.”
“
Blitz I’m sure we’ll be able to see them before we head out.”
Gertner
never showed his face back in the UAWF after Morgan was released. She traveled
up to Stanford to see Lindsey and found that her once single friend was now
married and preparing to move to Florida. She and Taker had eloped to Las Vegas
during New Years and gotten married. Morgan, Blitz, and Riot could hardly
believe it; neither could the figure watching them. Hayabusa felt as if his
heart had been ripped out. He had
taken the job in the WWF to be closer to Lindsey but now she was out of reach
for forever. The up side was that Lindsey was becoming a road photographer while
another one was out sick. Morgan returned to the UAWF and was promoted to
Technical Producer of their shows. Something she was very proud of. Genecide and
Juggernaught steered clear of her. Even though they had only kidnapped her, but
the fact that they were involved truly upset her. Juggernaught had gone to the
trouble to apologize to her face. Genecide had sent her half dead flowers as a
form of apology. It meant something but it would never help her forget what had
happened to her those long two months. Read on to the next story The Bait
