Televised Matches
Surge exploded on prime-time television with a stunning fireworks display and hard rock anthem. The capacity crowd roared and waved their signs as the camera swooped all over the place, and Joe Ross with Gorilla welcomed the fans to the show.
Johnny Wisdom vs Reese Walker
Following the match, Anthony Caine was found in the Caine administration locker room with Sean James and Xander at his sides. He talked to them about the main event, and more importantly the role Higgins will play in the outcome of the match…win or lose.
Diva Tag Team Match
An interview backstage with Higgins expressed that he wasn’t thrilled to be teaming up with Caines boys again, and that there was no relationship between Higgins and Caine. Higgins said he was there to win his match the same way he did last week…on his own.
Hardcore Match
Blithe Omega vs Phoenix
X Division Match
Following the commercial break, Sean James was in a panic over all the contenders coming his way for the World Heavyweight Championship. First James mentioned Mistress Pain, then Higgins and Lee, Snake Dalton…and now Rage! James felt the stress of being Champion come on, but Caine smiled. Clearly….he had a plan.
Six Man Tag Team Tornado Street Fight
Main Event
The rookie on a run came into contact with the man who’s personal mission was to upset Kevin Borden from office. Johnny Wisdom tied up with the up and coming Reese Walker in a wrestling classic. Though Wisdom gave up significant size and weight, he certainly held his own with speed and innovation. Oddly, Reese had no one at ringside, and it could very well have been why he lost this match. Despite Wisdoms best efforts, he could not keep the young man down. There was no quit in Walker until a Primetime endorsed chair brought Reese to his knees and then face down on the mat. Prone, Wisdom his Johnny-Bomb Frog-Splash and rolls Reese up for the three. Following that match, Wisdom got on the house mic and warned Borden that his petition was well on its way to reaching the Board of Directors, and soon…very soon, Kevin Borden will be no more.
Lycia & Livewire vs Nikita & Chase
with her slave in her corner, Lycia was all set to link up with Nikita once again. Throwing Chase in the mix certainly added a different flavor to the match’s activity as her restless ways diverted much attention to ringside. It was an all out slugfest in the end as all divas stormed the ring. Chase and Livewire were quickly out of the ring and battling on the ramp when Kassie Kincaid came out and dropped both Divas with a chair shot. Kassie then made a B-line for the ring and took out Nikita with the same chair. It was just Lycia and Kassie left standing as the ref threw the match out as a no contest. All around the crowd booed as Kassie glared at Lycia. The women’s champ was at a loss for words. Kassie demanded a house mic and then quite simply said, “I accept your challenge.” Kassie then left the ring, and three divas laying, as Lycia stood center ring stunned.
Bobbo vs Snake Dalton
A match already scheduled was kicked up when Bobbo demanded the match be changed from a static one on one encounter to a Hardcore match. Dalton was more than happy to oblige Bobbo as he took to the ring. Right from the bell Bobbo was on Dalton with no mercy. The normally so happy, child like clown was a rage of raw emotion in this match as he punished Snake for his sins against Maple earlier in the week. Bobbo was fierce, but Dalton was lucky as Bobbo swung and missed with a steel chair and fell victim to Daltons Snake-Bite Choke-Slam. Dalton rolled over Bobbo for the three staggered backward up the ramp with a win over the clown who still seethed for Dalton in the ring. Truly, in Bobbo’s mind, this was far from over.
Blithe Omega took this match as a means to blow off steam after dealing with Violence through the week. This proclaimed cakewalk was actually a real battle, as Blithe surprisingly had to fight for his life against the Job-Squad beast, Phoenix. Phoenix had Blithe in many near fall situations as Blithe often underestimated this large man, but eventually this sudden dose of reality educated Blithe and earned him the match with his veteran savvy. One Judgment Day Slam later and Blithe was off Phoenix and surprised with his victory. The shock soon faded as Blithe slipped back into confidence and ego…but that soon faded as well. Violence’s theme hit the house PA and soon the Machine himself was headed down the aisle. He rolled into the ring and got right in Blithes face. There, on international television, Violence challenged Blithe Omega to any match the big man wanted at Evil Hearts. Violence made himself very clear in saying no matter the stipulations…he will defeat Blithe Omega at Evil Hearts. Violence left before Omega could even agree to a match let along chose a match, but the former Total Chaos leader was not at a loss for words with Bob Rivers as he screamed in Bobs face.
Scotty Mayhem vs Rage
Was Scotty Mayhem mad? He had asked EBWF booking officials for this match, and got it, but on this night Scotty learned a very valuable lesson…be careful what you wish for. What Scotty wished for was a shot at Rage after Rage cost him his match against Triple X members, Wang Chung and Vex at PAIN. What Scotty got was the return of a very formidable and reputable X contender. Scotty knew that he was stepping into the ring with the very man who not only developed, but pioneered the X Division in the EBWF. No matter the reputation, Mayhem was looking for revenge. However, revenge was not his to take as Rage put Mayhem through ten minutes of brutal punishment. The result, Rage pinning an unconscious Mayhem with only his foot. Following the match Rage addressed the EBWF crowd for the first time since returning. He stated that he wasn’t after the X division title this time. It was the World Heavyweight Championship or bust.
Triple X vs The House of Cards
Six men, an arena full of potential weapons, one pin-fall and no rules. All that adds up to one thing…carnage. It was an all out war as the Hunter lead Triple X contingent met the HOC in a street fight. Rough, raw and gritty was the name of the game as each man tore into their rivals. The mayhem got so bad at points men were using other men as weapons! James and Jeff Hunter managed to hoist Junior up and hurl him at Kaos and Young like a battering ram! Young and Kaos returned the favor when they belted the tag team champs with their own belts, busting James wide open. Finally, the end to the carnage came when Junior pinned Vex after a Cross Body off the top of a vending machine. The action in the match had spread out so much through the arena that while Junior was pinning Vex backstage, the Hunters battled Kaos and Young in the ring! Controversy rose when James refused to go with Jeff to help Vex simply because James wanted to stay on top of Kaos and Young. “Vex can hold his own, Jeff!” The camera picked up. As Kaos and Young left to meet Junior and celebrate their win, Jeff Hunter left the ring in disgust of his brother, taking both tag team title belts with him. James was stunned as his brother turned his back on him and walked backstage.
Six Man Tag Team Match
Mistress Pain, Justin “The Future” Lee, & Violence vs High Flying Higgins, Xander, & “Perfect” Sean James
The Caine led team of James and Xander with a reluctant Higgins in their corner took on quite the fan favorite combination in Mistress Pain, Violence and Justin Lee. Each team showed guts and determination, but clearly, Mistress Pains team was more willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Oddly, he end didn’t come until Higgins refused to take brass knuckles from Caine again. After Higgins threw the knucks back at Caine with attitude, Caine pulled his men from the match and left Higgins for the slaughter. Despite Mistress and Violence trying to reason with him, Lee jumped on the opportunity, and Higgins, eventually bringing Higgins down with the Future Shock and picking up the three for his team. After Mistress and Violence left the ring, Lee stood over Higgins and spit on his Evil Hearts opponent. Lee then slid out of the ring and came back in slapping a steel chair. Lee had plans to use it on Higgins, but Mistress would have none of it as she came bolting back out to ringside. As Lee was about to nail the prone Higgins, Mistress slid into the ring…and was caught by a blatant, and last minute shot by Lee. Mistress was knocked out clean and Lee couldn’t have looked more pleased. He stood over Mistress Pain holding his chair like a trophy until Violence slid back into the ring. Lee slipped out of the ring quickly and backed up the ramp with a huge grin on his face as Violence aided his fallen teammate. The crowd booed Lee as he praised himself and held his hands high, clearly proud of his disgusting actions.
