After years of treatment, the last option for this individual was an experimental lobotomy procedure. After the procedure was completed and the bandages were removed, he examined himself in the mirror and discovered that his forehead and temple regions of his head were covered with unseemly surgical scars. In that moment of shock, he lashed out against the doctors and staff that were examining him. After psychoanalyzing him, it was found that the procedure had not cured his mental disorders, but had altered his conscious perception of right and wrong. He felt no guilt for his actions taken on others. After many attacks on staff, he was contained in the ward reserved for extreme patients of mental disorders. A few short years later, Danvers Asylum was ordered to close the treatment facility and to transfer patients to other facilities. For some reason Patient #742617000027 was never transferred, he was left by mistake in the closed institution. For years it was rumored that the “Castle on the Hill”, the nickname given to the institution by local residents, was haunted by a malignant spirit. This was not the case. The horrid sounds of screams and objects being broken originated from patient #742617000027, the last patient of Danvers Asylum. It has been noted that local residents have seen a tall, shadowy figure roaming the grounds of the foreboding hospital in the past but not in recent times. ***NEWSFLASH*** The current whereabouts of patient #742617000027 are unknown presently. He can be identified by the multiple tattoos covering his arms and chest. His eyes are yellow in color due to the over exposure of asbestos in the institution.
