~PART ONE~
With my heavy backpack strapped to my shoulders, I took a sip of water from my canteene, and stuck my thumb out.
I had been hitchhiking for almost three hours, with absolutely no luck. You would think that a poor girl standing on the side of the road would elicit some sympathy from somone. YEAH, RIGHT! I rolled my eyes, arched my back, and continued to watch the road.
About fifteen minutes later, I saw a dark speck in the distance. "Yes!" I said, excitadly. As the speck got closer, I noticed it was a motorcycle. Okay, whatever, a ride is a ride.
The driver rode past me, but then he stopped, and backed up. He took his sunglasses off, and looked at me.
"I take it you need a ride?" He asked.
"Yeah. It would be helpful." I said.
"Where you headed?" The man asked.
"Whatever town is the closest." I said.
He looked down the road, and then looked back at me. "Well, the nearest town is about a day and half away, so I guess we'd better get going. Hop on." He said.
I got on the bike, and didn't know where to put my hands.
"You'ld better hold on or you'll fall off on your head." He said.
"Okay, but WHERE do I hold on?" I asked.
"Just put your hands anywhere you feel comfortable." He said like it was the easiest thing in the world.
I finally decided to just wrap my arms around his waist, all be it timidly.
"You ready?" He asked.
"I guess so." I said.
He turned the engine on, and we were off.
The ride was exillerating. Feeling the wind on my face and in my hair, feeling the steady rumble of the motorcycle between my legs, and holding onto an incredibly sexy man, all made for a very interesting expierience.
We rode for hours, and didn't stop until I noticed the sun starting to set. He pulled over to the side of the road, and got off the bike.
"Looks like this is as good a place as any." He said.
"What are we doing?" I asked.
"We're going to camp here for the night." He said.
I looked up at him, incrediously. "Excuse me?" I said.
"What? Did you think you we're going to be staying in a fancy hotel? Sorry, sweetheart, but this is as good as it gets. You do have a sleeping bag with you, right?" He asked.
"Well, yeah, of course. But, do we have to sleep on the ground?" I asked.
"It's not that bad. You'll get used to it." He said.
I got off the motorcycle, my inner thighs still numb, and sat myself and my belongings underneath a tree.
"You want something to eat?" He asked me.
"Sure." I said, feeling grateful that he had offered.
He went over to the motorcycle, fished around in one of the saddle bags, and came back to me with a sandwich and a bananna.
"Thanks." I said.
He nodded, and sat down a few feet away from me.
I had finished my sandwich and was eating my banannna when I noticed he was watching me intently.
"What?" I asked.
"You sure do handle that bananna well." He said.
Confused, I said, "Thanks. I guess."
He continued watching me until I finished the fruit. I was starting to get nervous. "Have you got some strange fasination with fruit or something?" I asked.
"No. But, I think I have a strange fasination with you." He said, his voice lowering.
He walked over to me, and scooped me up in his arms. He carried me over to the bike and sat me down onto it.
"Where are we going? I can't leave my stuff here." I said, concerned.
"Don't worry. We aren't going that far." He said, and started the motorcycle.
