Most
Weight Gained
From This
To This And Then To
This
Ahmed
Johnson/Big T- As illustrated
above, Ahmed Johnson gained a considerable amount of weight between the time he
first entered the WWF and the time he left WCW as Big T. You could almost see
his abs in the 1st photo. You can start to see some pudge appearing
in the 2nd picture. By the 3rd he is just plain fat. He made
a good first impression by body slamming Yokozuna, but he got fatter and was
very injury prone.
The Big Show- Granted he is supposed to be big, but he used to
be able to do a drop kick. He has recently lost some weight, but he still needs
to lose more in order to be competitive again. Now he is a midcarder if even
that. He can’t be taken seriously because he loses to guys less than half his
size.
Kane- Kane used to be the best big man around but
recently he has gained around 30 pounds of fat and has become sloppy in the
ring. He is slower than he used to be and often messes up moves. He is only 34
so if he lost weight and trained hard he could be much better.
Koko B Ware- More about Koko can be found here,
but let’s just say that he wore those baggy pants in High Energy to conceal his
ever-growing gut.
The Iron
Sheik- Just look at his pictures. A
lot of it is age, but he is way too out of shape to still wrestle occasionally.
The only reason he won the gimmick battle royal at Wrestlemania 17 was because
he was so brittle no one could throw him out of the ring without seriously
injuring him. If you watch the battle royal, he didn’t do much until the end when
he threw out the last 2 contestants. Up until then he would just wander around
the ring and occasionally hit someone, although they usually didn’t notice.
Yokozuna- When he started in the federation I think he was
a little over 500 pounds. He just kept growing and growing. When he died a few
years later he is rumored to have weighed over 700 pounds.
