What made you want to get into wrestling?
I have always dreamed about it since I was a little kid. I grew up with it and was always in awe of it. I said I will do that one day and by a chance meeting I got my break started training and I am still doing it.
What has been your most memborable event to date?
Wrestling, well the Match I did with Lobo at PCW in Melbourne it was brutal and took me 2 weeks to get over the bumps, touring with the AWF is great fun also especially the tour with 2 Cold Scorpio & Psychosis. Watching, well Steamboat - Savage at Wrestlemania 3, The Jerry Lynn - Rob Van Dam feud. The Dean Malenko - Ultimo Dragon feud. Foley's bumps from the top of the cage at King of The Ring. Also Wrestling TNT & Jason Helton in a 3-way match at Wollongong on AWF 2001 Tour, it was a fast, great match. We all got bakcatage and went "Wow, that was great."
Out of all of the people, in all of the federations (including overseas), who would you most like to wrestle?
That is a hard question but for some reason HHH or Kurt Angle, you would learn so much and because those guys work their asses off in the ring. I have a huge amount of respect for them. In a Hardcore Match I would have to say, Mick Foley or Mike Awesome in his old ECW killer days.
Who has been your toughest competitor?
A few stand out. Thug Thomas is the stiffest, TNT the hardest due to his speed, memory and knowledge, Lobo is by far the toughest and Jason Helton because he is a "WRESTLER" and you have to learn with him, and you learn a lot.
What special talents or hobbies do you have? (apart from wrestling, that is!!).
I have a degree in Sports Psychology, also in Business Managament. I own one of Australia's biggest Independant CD Distribution / Import Companies. Used to play high level Rugby League, represented my Country and State. As Far as hobbies go, I love watching most sport, love having a bet on the horses, my CD Collection, I play Beach Volleyball I love it, and Mixed Indoor Netball sometimes (Hahahahaha), Love going to the gym, Kicking back on the beach or by the pool, Holidaying at Hamilton Island, Watching Movies, Training at the Gym, Going to nice restaurants, Having a few to drink.
What is the biggest misconception about being a wrestler and the industry as a whole?
That it is easy and it doesn't hurt and that we make money! People don't understand what we put our bodies through. They think it is all fixed and that we don't get hurt. Well all they have to do is come along to training sometime and see for themselves. Also the fact that all wrestlers are morons and meatheads, well some are...lol....
What is your opinion on backyard feds?
I think they are damaging our sport and I think they are a joke, All they are is kids who think they are hard, well if they are, then step up with us. There are some so called "pro federations" here that are no more than glorified backyard federations. The don't understand the simple fact. You can kill yourself.
What other names have you wrestled under?
Armageddon, H.C. Howarth.
Who would you say is your greatest inspiration?
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bret Hart, Cliff Lyons Paul Stanley, My Mum, God.
Any advice for all of the aspiring young wrestlers out there?
Yes train properly and hard with a proper wrestling school, don't try and teach yourself with that backyard crap. Don't give up and always strive to be the best. Get where you are going, and don't care how you do it. But always respect people and treat them the way you want to be treated.
