Tajeki Yamamoro

Name: "The Silver Eagle" Tajeki Yamamoro

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 224lbs

Date of Birth: 02/09/82

Hometown: Hiroshima, Japan; but resides in Vancouver, Canada because its better than anywhere in the US.

Alignment: Tajeki is what some people would consider a 'mega-heel' however he can play out a face role as well

Theme Music: Japanese National Anthem

Appearance: To the ring, Tajeki wears a silver 'eagle' like mask that can be seen in his picture. He wears a black robe with silver 'sections'. He has his first two fingers on his right hand tapped at the knuckles. He wears full length silver shiny pants with his name down the right leg in black Japanese. Just after his knees, the pants change color to rese mble the Japanese flag during World War Two (with the Rising Sun). Tajeki wears knee high boots with hard shin-pads underneath. Down the middle of his back, Tajeki has the words 'Pride', 'Honor', 'Passion' and 'Sacrifice' in Japanese tattoos.

Wrestling Style: Hard-Hitting Lucharesu; a mix of high flying lucha/aerial moves with Puroresu sensibilities, including a tendency to use the Junior Heavyweight striking style as evident in "The K-Strike" and Tajeki's use of stomps to his opponents (which he deems extremely humiliating). Tajeki also has a variety of innovative impact moves in his repertoire.

Title History: No significant titles, but has wrestled severeal matches in AJP and NOAH in Japan against notable wrestlers.

Catch Phrase(s): "Feel the Innovation!", "Where is your honor?"

Specialty Match(if any): A 'Ring of Honor' match (best of 5 falls match). But will rise to the occasion for anything presented to him and thrown his way.

Finishing Move: "The Silver Eagle Splash", "The Hiroshima Bomb"

Description: "The Silver Eagle Splash" (Top rope splash but with 2 full counter-clockwise rotations [720o] in the air, never changing which way his head is pointing); "The Hiroshima Bomb" (180o spinning sit-out Dominator).

Set Up: For "The Silver Eagle Splash", Tajeki does his trademark 'bird/eagle' hand shape to signal it. "The Hiroshima Bomb" however, can be so sudden that there is no setup needed other than a kick to the stomach if that even.

Trademark Moves: "The Silver Wing Suplex", "The RSX", "The Tajeki-canrana", "The Yamamoro Driver", "The Kamikaze", "The Rising Sun Press", "The Shiro Crusher", "The Silver Lancer", "The Silver Inazuma"

Trademark Moves Descriptions:

Impact Moves: Facing Opponent
"The RSX" (Vertical suplex lift brought down into a reverse 'Sliced Bread #1' landing the opponent's throat across Tajeki's knee at an awkward angle)
"The K-Strike"-short for Kamikaze Strike (A very high impact Lariat that Tajeki will often use after getting right back up from taking an impact move, countering running opponents with it, or leaping from the top/second turnbuckle. Some would consider it to be his 'Ace in the Hole' along with "The Golden Wing Suplex")
"The Shiiro Crusher"-in respect to one of his fathers trademark moves (A single arm leg facecrusher [fameasser]; but before dropping to the ground, Tajeki snap kicks the opponent in the face/throat with the foot he was standing on and drives the opponent down with his leg on the back of their necks)

Behind Opponent
"The Silver Wing Suplex" (A hard Tiger Suplex/Tiger Suplex Hold [when Tajeki goes for a pin attempt])
"The Yamamoro Driver" (Tajeki has the opponent across his upper back [NOT his shoulders!] facing the opposite direction with the legs hooked and arms in a modified Full Nelson. Instead of then dipping his shoulder [aka: a DVD], Tajeki rotates his whole body, lets go of the opponents legs and drops straight forwards onto his side driving the opponents head/upper neck into the mat and jarring their shoulders)
"The Silver Inazuma"- meaning Silver Lightning (Tajeki lifts the opponent in a fashion exactly like a Back Suplex but flips the opponent over and catches the them in a bulldog)

Submission Moves:
"The Silver Lancer" (Tajeki places his left leg behind the opponents head and kneels down with his foot around the front of their right shoulder and pushes the opponents chin to their chest. At the sam e time he armbars their arm and pulls it upwards stretching their shoulder and neck in a variation of a Head Trap Armbar)

Since many of Tajeki's moves focus on the neck/upper back of opponents, Tajeki is also prone to driving/digging his elbow into the opponents Trapezoids during sleepers or even just striking them with the elbow in an attempt to cause a 'Charlie-Horse' and wear down the neck/upper back- [get someone to do it, it hurts!]

Aerial Moves:
"The Tajeki-canrana" (With opponent sitting on the top turnbuckle, Tajeki does a top rope springboard backflip on the same turnbuckle and catches the opponent in a Frankenstiener/Reverse Frankenstiener [if opponent is facing the crowd] on the way down)
"The Rising Sun Press" (630 Senton Bomb *Note: Used mainly as a super de-duper high spot maneuver off a ladder or something, however he has been given to us it at other times when the opportunity is right*)
pumped moonsault
diving 'lay-back' senton
second rope knee drop
springboard Shooting Star 180o [in the air] Tornado DDT- Great Highspot maneuver since it is technically difficult to pull off cleanly
twisting moonsualt twisting summersault (Firebird) splash
springboard top rope moonsault (Loinsault) double boot stomp
springboard leg/knee drop
[*Note: Not all of these moves are used during every match]
~two vertical suplexs into a third which is either "The RSX" or a Crossover Brainbuster Suplex [left arm holds opponents left leg across their body], hard dropkick variations to opponents head/face/upper chest, springboard spinning heel kick, quick succession of left and right kicks to opponents head, , standing moonsault into a knee drop across the upper chest, many variations of head-scissors into DDT's, deep thrust kick of course, leg capture suplex, 90o overhead belly to belly [aka: Blizzard] suplex, ~Northern Lights suplex rolled over into a double boot stomp to opponents stomach, twisting handspring plancha, outside to in [over the ropes] double stomp, tope con hilo, plancha variations, ~release Dragon suplex, Half-Hatch suplex [think modified belly to belly chicken-wing suplex], ~German suplex (sometimes Spider Bridged for a pin attempt- rolling back over the opponent)
~ = denotes more frequently used suplexs

Ring Entrance: The lights dim down, and only a single spotlight shines on the entrance way to the arena. The Japanese symbols for 'Pride', 'Honor', 'Passion' and 'Sacrifice' slide across the dark stage screen and the Japanese national anthem begins to play [play must be looped as it is only 41 seconds long]. Tajeki Yamamoro steps out from behind the curtain into the single spotlight and proceeds to make his way towards the rin g, walking calmly and focused. As the Japanese symbols finish, the words 'The Silver Eagle' flash. He gets up onto the apron, has the referee spread the ropes for him so he can get in and kneels in his corner. Tajeki does his trademark Eagle hand signal and suddenly, a spray of traditional Puroresu streamers burst out from behind him on the mat and float over his head. The lights come back on and Tajeki stands up to take off his mask and his robe, before touching the top turnbuckle of his corner.

Wrestler's History: What can I say, Tajeki has lived a torn life; mixing the pride of the 'old' with the innovation of the 'new'. He was born in Hiroshima, Japan, and taught the ways of resp ect, honor and pride of the Japanese way of life by his grandmother and mother. His father, Shiiro Yamamoro, died when he was 8; in a pro wrestling match where a wrong bump broke his neck and killed him. Tajeki's family moved across the Pacific when he was 9 to start a new life in Vancouver, Canada. Tajeki's uncle (who was an amateur wrestler in Japan) asked him to come back after a few years to train and follow his father's footsteps. So Tajeki, at the ripe ole' age of 16, moved back to Hiroshima and adopted his fathers nickname "The Silver Eagle" and finishing move "The Hiroshima Bomb". Little did his Uncle know, but Tajeki would soon surpass him, and even his father with his talent and high flying ability; and soon major players on the Japanese circuit were calling his name. However, Tajeki had different ideas and made his way back across the ocean to Vancouver, where he now lives at 22 years of age; to make an even bigger name for himself in the North American wrestling circuits…something his father had dreamed about doing. With his unique background, Tajeki brings a high flying ability compared to Amazing Red and Paul London, and the martial arts stiffness of Tajiri (Tajeki is known for working incredibly stiff), blended with his own form of innovative and amazing moves that will have you on the edge of your seat asking "How the f**k did he do that?!?"

Rivals: People who don't respect the pride and honor that comes with being a professional wrestler, Tai Hashi, almost anyone who isn't Japanese
