Stone Cold Steve Austin and Sting both make their entrances into the squared circle infront of the millions of fans and get ready for the first EWA match ever. They walk around the ring searching for the opening to strike and they both look around. Austin comes at Sting with a forearm knock down and the bell rings. Austin and Sting go back and forth most of the match with no dominate one. Late into the match Sting landed the Scorpion Death Drop and signaled to the crowd. Sting walked around a few times and than went for the Scorpion Death Lock. Austin reversed it due to Sting wasting time and Austin went for the Stunner and missed. They both stumbled and came back towards each other and Austin went to punch Sting but Sting ducked and turned it into the Scorpion Death Drop once again. Sting took the cover quickly and got the pinfall.

No music was played just the site of Goldberg walking toward the Boiler Room and camera’s on him. Goldberg entered and the referee locked the double-doors. Goldberg looked all around to find no Triple H. Than from behind Triple H came and hit Goldberg in the back of the head with a lead pipe, and the match began. Triple H took over the first half of the fight with the attack from the behind in the beginning. Goldberg started to fight back every now and than but Triple H would take advantage. Towards the end out of nowhere Goldberg landed the spear. He was to beat up to go for the jackhammer so he went for the pin. Goldberg could only receive a two count for his efforts and got up. From the enlightened area of the Boiler Room came a member of Hells Gate, Brock Lesnar. Brock picked up Goldberg and sent him into the concrete wall. The referee quickly sent Brock out with Brock cooperating and Triple H was left once again with just Goldberg. Goldberg had just about enough with all the hits he suffered from objects within the Boiler Room. Triple H than went for the Pedigree and got lifted up into the air by Goldberg and sent onto the hard ground. They both laid their for a while and both gained strength and came upon their feet. Goldberg came with a spear and hit it once again. Than he got back up and went for his signature Jackhammer. Goldberg landed both perfectly and went for the pinfall and became successful in beating The Game, Triple H.

The two men came down to the ring and locked eyes with one another. This was a lead-up to the PPV, Double Jeopardy where they would face off for the Intercontinental Championship. The Rock took most of the match executing small maneuvers to keep RVD down. The match was one-sided throughout the whole thing until RVD took advantage with one of his kicks to the face. RVD followed up with other maneuvers and big risks. He landed all of his moves and with up top for the 5-Star Frog Splash. RVD went for it and when he did rock was already up and awaiting for RVD. When RVD came down Rock landed the Rock Bottom and went for the pinfall. Rock received his three-count and came up with the victory.

Camera’s had seen no proof that Hulk Hogan had showed up and the match continued anyhow. Rey Mysterio Jr. and Brock Lesnar both made their way down into the ring and the match went on with just the two. Brock Lesnar took the main portion of the match executing powerful maneuvers on the little Rey Mysterio and almost had Rey out of contention. Brock was mocking Rey and slapping him around late into the match. Brock than had him into the far corner and was slapping him and kicking him in the gut. Fans got on their feet and started yelling. Coming down from the ramp-way running was none other than Goldberg. Goldberg had his eyes set on Brock for what he did during Goldbergs match. Goldberg set up in the opposing corner and got ready for Brock to turn around. When Brock turned and saw Goldberg running full force to him he startled and stopped in his tracks. Goldberg speared the big man and sent him into the canvas. Goldberg got back out of the ring and Rey Mysterio brought Brock back up and with help from Goldberg, set him onto the top turnbuckle. Rey did a hurricanrana on Brock and went for the pin fall.

The other end of Hells Gate, Sting and RVD come to the entrance way and look towards Goldberg and Rey Mysterio Jr. Brock Lesnar joins the two and slowly they walk back to their locker-room with eyes still locked on the two men in the ring.
