So I went and saw Spiderman on Sunday. What a great movie! I love it when they don;t mess with what was written in the comics. This one was pretty damn close to what I remember reading in my comic book phase as a kid. Toby MacGuire was excellent as Spiderman and it never hurt to have Kirsten Dunst playing MJ, she is always a nice piece of eye candy.
Other than doing alot of painting, I have really not been up to much this past week, which will most likely mean that this Juggerstories will not be all that long or all that exciting. I did see alot of naked women in the strip club, and today I saw a girl on stage bend completely backwards and put her head between her legs. It was a very impressive display. I'm glad to see that the strippers in Calgary are still up to par, unlike the ones I saw last week in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Rumor has it that the lovely Allison Danger borrowed one of my wrestling moves this past week. Apparently she used my infamous knee drop neckbreaker in a match she had this past weekend. I suppose I can accept that. Mainly because there is really not a damn thing I could do about it anyways. I'm sure she did the move justice., at least she better have......or else!
I just got finished watching that show "Smallville". I really like that show. It's probably my favorite new show on TV. If you've never heard of it, it basically follows Clark Kent (Superman) around when he was a teenager living in Smallville. Pretty cool stuff. I highly recommend it.
Time for the pictures of the week. This first one was taken by ECCW's Buffy in the late fall of 2000. It was taken as we were travelling from Sapporo Japan to Tokyo Japan next to a clear grand piano in the dinning area on a very large ferry boat. The trip took about 12 hours if I remember correctly, plenty of time to check out the nooks and crannys of the boat and take lots of pictures.
This next picture was taken around Christmas of 2000 when I was back at my parents place in Cranbrook, BC. That's my dog Shaq, the Mid-Heavyweight Super Dog Champion of the World! At least he thinks so.
We got almost 2 damn feet of snow yesterday in Calgary! I stepped out the door and sunk in up to my knees. Does mother nature not realize that it is May? This downfall had delayed the start of golf season, and that really pisses me off. Not like I actually have my clubs out here, but if the weather was nice enough I would definitaly get them sent out. I was starting to get excited about golfing, but now I am depressed. It sucks! This year I am going to make a valid attempt to regain my deceny golfing ability that I used to have when I was around 17 and 18 years old. Even though playing alot of golf is super expensive, I'm sure I will become close friends (or maybe enemies) with the local driving range. My sister gets married at the end of July, so I have to have something that resembles a decent golf game by then so I will be ready for the pre-wedding golf game. I MUST WIN!!!
I am so out of the loop lately. I didn't even know that not only did Lou Thesz pass away, but one of my all time favorites, Wahoo McDaniel also passed away. I used to love watching the tapes of the old Wahoo matches. For those who didn't know, Wahoo was a big star in Canada in his time, and had some great battles with Dusty Rhodes out in the Winnipeg area. Those are two huge blows on the wrestling world. They will both be greatly missed, and I think Bret Hart said it best in a recent article he wrote for a Calgary newspaper when he said to imagine the cheers from all the wrestlers that have already passed away when Lou Thesz got to the other side. I personally think the same can be said for Wahoo McDaniels.
Well, I really have nothing else to talk about this week, so I am going to pull the plug on this commentary.
So, until next time, Chicks Dig Scars, go check out Spiderman, Happy 87th Stu, painting sucks and where's Rockford?
