I am happy to announce that I have found the 4th Hansen brother. I'm talking about the Hansen brothers from the classic movie Slap Shot from years ago with Paul Newman. As we were making our way back from Saskatchewan yesterday (more on that later), we found the younger, fatter Hansen that I have officially named Frank. I couldn't believe how much this kid working at a gas station looked like the Hansens. As you can tell I am still pretty excited about the whole thing.
I went and saw the movie Blue Crush, last week. The lead girl in that movie is absolutely gorgeous. Some people have been trying to give me a hard time about seeing the "chick surf movie", but I actually thought it was pretty good. Nothing that you will see up for an Oscar, but a pretty good movie.
Thursday night I stepped into the Pro Outlaw Wrestling ring in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, against the one and only Dr. Luther. The match turned out to be everything that it was billed to be. Myself and Luther kicked the living hell out of each other for damn near 20 minutes. All was going well until that damn Crash Crimson stuck his nose into my business once again and distracted me enough for Luther to kick a chair through my head and pin me. This little adventure for the good Doctor is far from over. I think I forgot how good he actually is, and next time I will be more prepared. I believe the next P.O.W. show is in October sometime. The P.O.W. website will be putting up some pictures and a couple video clips of the show, so keep checking in at www.pow.canadianwebs.com, I think they will be putting some stuff up in the very near future.
I only have a couple days at home here, then it's back on the road. I head out tomorrow to Winnipeg to start No Holds Barred Wrestling's, ECW Reunion Tour part 2. I have absolutely no idea who I will be wrestling against, but it is always a good time to head out that way and work for Don Callis and the infamous Canadian promoter, Tony Condello. It'll be good to see alot of the guys from the last ECW reunion tour again too, guys like Jerry Lynn, Johnny Swinger and Shane Douglas, along with many others.
The NFL season is a couple weeks under way and once again I am in a football pool. It seems like every year, I get absolutely burned in the draft order and end up with the crappiest team in the pool. This year is no exception. I had to trade away one of my top defensive players along with a great running back, just to get a half decent quarterback, but at least the quarterback is Kordell Stewart, he's been about my only shining light so far in the 2 games that have been played. I also ended up with guys that I thought would do ok, like Jerome Bettis and Mike Alstott, but it looks like neither of them will do a whole lot this year. Once again I am looking at getting burned.
I finally scanned the pictures I have been talking about for the past couple weeks. So here's this week's pictures of the week. The first picture here is myself, Johnny Devine and a female wrestler from Winnipeg (sorry can't remember her name), with the hariest, freakiest ring crew guy I have ever seen in my life.
This next picture is a special one for Masa Horie of the website "Views from the Rising Sun" (you can find the link in my links section), it's a picture of myself and Dory Funk Jr. from back about 5 months ago when Dory was in town with some of his wrestlers from Florida.
The Best of Juggernaut Volume II, Better Red than Dead, is done, and I actually have it here. I have checked it out and it's got some funny stuff along with some of the better matches I had on tape. I was going to have a match that I had with Rapid Fire Maldonado last year in Pottstown, PA on it, but the footage of that match has mysteriously disapeared, so, instead we have a 6 man tag match that I was in at Korakeun Hall in Tokyo, Japan fom 2001, so that should fill the space nicely. The video runs just over 2 and a half hours long. Like I mentioned a couple weeks ago, if anyone is interested in Volume II, e-mail me at bigjuggernauto@aol.com and I can give you all the payment details and shipping info.
I have been talking with a company in Europe lately. I won't jinx anything by saying too much, but as it sits, thing are looking good for me making my first ever tour of a foreign country where I may actually understand what people are saying to me. If this goes through, there is a chance I may be gone for a few months starting in January. I am keeping my fingers crossed, since this year I haven't really been anywhere too exciting and I am starting to get the huge itch to take some big trips. It would be a great time, since I would get to tour with guys that don't drive me crazy and make me want to kill them.
Well, I believe that will about sum up this week's commentary. I know there were a couple other things I was going to talk about this week, but I can't remember what in the hell they were.
So.... Until Next Time..... Chicks Dig Scars...... Anyone seen Allison Danger?....... I think it's gonna snow soon..... See some of you on the ECW reunion tour...... check out www.pow.canadianwebs.com........ and say no to Crack head Poc!
