So I'm a couple days late, I completely lost track of time this week. Last time I paid attention it was only Sunday, and now it's already Thursday.....oops.
There will be a complete facelift at juggernaut-wrestling.com sometime in the near future. I have aquired the skills of the Hooligans (www.thehooligans.ca) to re-build the website. I'm sure you've all noticed that the website hasn't been updated in quite a while. My old webmaster has become quite the busy fella, and I have absolutely no idea what to do. I'm confident that The Hooligans will do a great job and at least the updates will pop up alot more frequently. I have no idea when the new one will show up, but I'll be sure to let everyone know when I find out.
Last week was another Stampede Wrestling show here in Calgary. Before I get into what I was up to, I need to talk about one of the best matches I have had the chance to see in many years. Harry Smith and TJ Wilson put on a display that would be difficult for ANYONE to match. It had me thinking back to the Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat matches from the old NWA days. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some great matches in the past few years, Tony Kozina vs. American Dragon, AJ Styles vs. Jerry Lynn, Christopher Daniels vs. Nova, and many more, but TJ and Harry did alot of the smaller things that many guys forget about nowadays. I'm not sure if the match was taped or not, but if anyone can get their hands on it, I recommend checking it out.
My opponent for the evening was the always bitter Scottsman, The Highlander. The match was going along fine until once again, Captain midget, Johnny Devine went and stuck his nose in where it doesn't belong, and everything ended in a DQ. The next Stampede Wrestling show is Friday the 15th, it will be myself and Apocalypse against Devine and The Highlander, I have a couple little suprises for them this time.
I have been playing a hell of alot PS2 lately. I just can't get enough of the new Tiger Woods 2003 golf game. I think it's got some kind of addictive substance that sprays you while you're playing. I haven't even been playing much football, which is extremely odd since I think football games are probably my all time favorite video games to play.
've been juggling the idea of moving my Juggerstories from weekly to bi-weeklyish once the new website pops up, since there will be others things being updated more frequently. It'll give me more time to come up with things to talk about, and it will give people the chance to check out the other stuff that will be on the site. I am still not going to have a message board, many people have e-mailed me saying I should get a message board, but there are more than enough forums around the wrestling world, and I'm not into having a bunch of people opening their yaps while hiding behind fake names, it drives me nuts, which is why there are VERY few message boards that I will actually look at, never mind post on.
Once the new site comes up, there is also a good chance that the pictures of the week will become less frequent. Since the only reason I started them was to show some pictures that the old webmaster never put on the site. There will probably be more picture categories than anyone has ever seen on a wrestling website. I like to divide them up nicely, and make sure everyone knows what in the hell they are looking at. On that note, I will now move onto this week's pictures of the week. I actually got around to developing some pictures recently, so I have a couple to put up this week. The first one was taken recently on the ECW reunion tour. It's a picture of myself and a guy that just happens to enjoy the Heavy Metal as much as I do, Jerry Lynn.
This one was taken as I was watching AJ Styles get his rear kicked in whatever video game he was playing.
I have been slacking a bit in the movie department. I still haven't gone to see the Jackass movie yet, and now another movie that I really want to see (8 Mile) comes out tomorrow. One of these days I'll have to have an official Juggerday at the movies, just to get all the movies I want to see in. I think I could successfully see 4 movies in one day if I timed it right, just not sure I could watch that many without losing my mind.
