To continue the NAWA's wild wild west tour we are live from Denver, Colorado. Tonight we have a big feature bout. But lets get down to the ring for some NAWA action.
Barry Horowitz is already in the ring. The Ultimate Warrior Theme is starting up. This is a first round match in the NAWA television title tournament. The Ultimate Warrior comes sprinting out. Barry takes a u-turn out of the ring. Warrior hits the ropes and then shakes the ropes. Barry Horowitz tries to jump the Warrior but Warrior ducks. Flying Shoulderblock from the Warrior. Warrior covers Barry as the bell rings signalling the start of this match.
TV Title Qualifier The Ultimate Warrior vs Barry Horowitz
One, Two, Three.
The Ultimate Warrior pinned Barry Horowitz after a flying shoulderblock in 0:00:03. Rating: DUD
The quickest match in the history of the NAWA. 3 seconds. The Warrior scores the duke and marches on or rather sprints on futher in the tournament. Warrior celebrates by shaking the ropes one more time and then running back down the aisle. Barry Horowitz gets up and he can't believe it. His pre match attack didn't work and he ended up getting pinned in the blink of an eye.
Tonight:The feud between the Armstrongs and the FBI hopefully come to an end when Steve and Brian Armstrong face Guido and Mamaluke in a 2 out of 3 falls match. This is once again to decide whom is the number one contender for the NAWA world tag team titles. This decision was made by Commisioner Steamboat earlier this week to have a 2 out of 3 falls match to avoid a no-contest. Also Tonight Jerry Lynn defends the NAWA international title against...The NAWA jobber champion The Gambler. Somehow I don't think the Gambler will make it to Gold Rush to face Marc Mero after Jerry Lynn gets done with him. Shane Douglas will defend the NAWA world title tonight as well and the big feature bout Chris Candido and Brian Lee defend the NAWA tag team titles against Jeff Jarrett and Norman Smiley. All this and more tonight.

"All You Want" plays and out comes Lodi with Christopher Daniels(wearing that revolting demented cheerleader outfit) and the NAWA cruiserweight champion Lenny Lane(about a 6 on the homo scale tonight with his fingernails panted pink and pink sweat pants with a white t-shirt with pink stripes on the sleeves). These two never cease to amaze people. Lodi is wearing his usual pink tights, kneepads, and boots. Lodi stands on the tournbuckle.
"Just a Little Super Crazy" plays and out comes Super Crazy. He has a knee brace on his right knee. Crazy has been forced to adapt his style so he doesn't injure that knee any further. Crazy can't put too much preasure on that knee.
"Sad but True" By Metallica and out comes Jerry Lynn. He isn't even scheduled to be here until later. He is disrupting this first round match of the NAWA television title tournament. Crazy looks at Lynn but Lodi clips him in the knee.
NAWA television title tournament qualifier Lodi(w/Lenny Lane and Christopher Daniels) vs Super Crazy
Lodi now is stomping at that knee. Thankfully that knee is protected somewhat by a steel kneebrace. Lynn removed that kneebrace two weeks ago and used a guitar to the unprotected knee. Lodi now drapes Crazy's knee on the bottom rope and drives to sit down on it but Crazy slides away and Lodi crotches himself. We see Lenny wincing at ringside. Crazy with a backhand chop. Crazy with another. Crazy with a third and Crazy runs the ropes and knocks Lodi down with a clothesline. Crazy now picks up Lodi and props him in the corner. Crazy chops Lodi hard in the chest raising a red welt. Crazy chops Lodi three more times and snap mares him out of the corner. Crazy with a forearm to the back. Crazy now whips Lodi in and Crazy backdrops Lodi. Cover on Lodi. One, Two, Kickout. This conservative style that Crazy has to wrestle is showing. Crazy now props Lodi in the corner. Crazy drives a shoulder in the midsection of Lodi. Crazy with a hard slap on the chest. Crazy whips Lodi in. Lodi ducks the head and pays for it by getting rammed facefirst into the canvas. Crazy rolls over Lodi and cover:One, Two, Kickout. Crazy now throws Lodi into the corner upside down. Lodi folds up and Crazy rolls him over for a cover. One, Two, Kickout. Lodi whips Crazy in but Crazy reverses. Lenny orders Christopher Daniels to grab the leg, which he does. He does it half assed and Crazy kicks him away and walks into a dropkick to the injured knee from Lodi. Lodi now grabs Crazy and folds his knee back with a kneebar. Normally this move wouldn't win a match but with the injury to the knee you got to wonder how long Crazy can hold out. Crazy somehow reaches that bottom rope and the referee is putting the count on Lodi to break the hold. One, Two, Three, Four, Five. Lodi breaks just at five. Lodi now is argueing with the referee and Lenny is telling Daniels something. Daniels grabs the knee of Crazy and rams it over the ring apron. Lenny is Daniels's boss until February 2003 and is using him as a pawn to help Lodi advance foward. Lodi now grabs the knee and Lodi applies the deadly spinning toehold. He is really stomping that hold in. Crazy is yelping out in pain. He may have to give no Crazy reaches the ropes. Daniels kicks Crazy off the ropes(on orders of Lenny). Jerry Lynn is watching at ringside still and Lodi picks up Crazy. Knee crunching atomic drop. Into a figure-four leglock. Lenny is giving Lodi some illegal leverage while Daniels has the referee distracted on the other end. This isn't right. That right leg may be on the verge of snapping like a twig. Daniels however drops off the ring apron. and the referee makes Lodi break the hold. Lodi and Lenny are both yelling at Daniels but Lenny is knocked down from behind. The cameraman gets knocked down as well and we hear a chairshot in the background. When we get are camera feed back we see Vampiro standing over Daniels with a chair. Lenny is also down having been rammed facefirst into the ring post. Lodi is distracted and this gives time for Crazy to break Lodi and pull him into a lariat. Lodi flips over landing on his face. That could have broken his neck. Crazy with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Thr...Foot on the ropes. Crazy has to adapt and he sends Lodi in. Crazy with a rolling forearm smash. A sickening thud is heard but sercurity is trying to get Vampiro out of the arena. The referee jumps out of the ring to help. Crazy puts Lodi in a standing headscissors and Cradle Piledriver. Right in front of Jerry Lynn. Jerry goes wide eyed and attempts to interfere but Crazy knocks him off of the ring apron. Lodi is up stumbling around. Waistlock no Crazy goes behind. Crazy goes for a dragon suplex but Lodi hooks his foot on the rope. Lodi ducks his head so Lynn can introduce Crazy to the International title belt. Lodi goes behind and hits a rolling cradle. The referee slides back in as sercurity has detained Vampiro. Crazy is down and out. One, Two, Three. Lodi advances foward thanks to Jerry Lynn.
Lodi pinned Super Crazy after a rolling cradle in 0:06:15. Rating: * 3/4
Lynn then hits Lodi with the International title belt. Lynn has no friends. All he wants is that title. Lynn puts Crazy in a standing headscissors. He signals for the Cradle Piledriver but before he can lift Crazy up, Crazy backdrops him to the outside. Lynn lands on the floor. Lynn tries to get back in but sercurity holds him back. Crazy has the microphone. This should be interesting seeing that Crazy can speak little english.
Crazy:You...Me....International Title Match....PPV.
Short and simple. Lynn is nodding his head, seemingly waving off that last chance stipulation from a few weeks ago. Lynn has the microphone.
Lynn:I am going to end your career this time, Crazy. And to make sure we know who the better man is lets make this inside a fifteen foot steel cage. The only way you can win is by pinfall, submission, or escape from the cage.
Crazy nods accepting that stipulation. So it will be Super Crazy vs Jerry Lynn at Gold Rush for the NAWA international title inside the confines of a fifteen foot steel cage. In 10 days only on PPV.
Next:A one on one interview that happened this past Tuesday, Joey Styles speaks with Norman Smiley. Norman has a lot on his mind.
[commericial]
We go to a dimly lit room. We pan back and see two chairs. Joey Styles and Norman Smiley are sitting.
Joey Styles:Norman, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer a few questions that many of the NAWA fans want to know.
Norman:No Problem.
Joey Styles:First up this week on Glory you we team with Jeff Jarrett to face Chris Candido and Brian Lee for the NAWA tag team titles. What is going through your mind teaming with the man that you have had two very good, heated matches with.
Norman Smiley:I think Jeff Jarrett is bitter, but let me explain. He is bitter because Shane Douglas is the number one bad guy in town. He is taking it out on innocent bystanders. It eats away at him every day that he is not holding the NAWA world title. That is basically how the feud started with me and him. Jarrett tried to prove that he can still be a evil bastard. Me and Him had two great matches, but I don't think there was no loser in that feud. I can't speak for Jeff, but I can out of that feud with much more respect for him then I did coming in. I still don't trust him, but I respect him. Shane Douglas is a whole other story, however.
Joey Styles:Well, over the past few months Shane Douglas has defeated every challenger for the NAWA world title. But he didn't just defeat him. He started destorying them and adding them to a check list. He has send that you are the final name on that list. How does that make you feel.
Norman:Sick and repulsive. Quite frankly, Shane Douglas is the NAWA world champion on the fact that he knows every trick in the book. He mocked Ric Flair earlier in his career, but Shane Douglas is slowly becoming the thing he used to hate. Shane Douglas is becoming a junior Ric Flair. and what I think is that Shane Douglas has the Triple Threat only to protect his skin. Francine, Chris Candido, and Brian Lee are basically pawns of Shane Douglas and they were made that way by promises of fame and glory. Shane Douglas took this too far however when he injured Terry Funk.
Joey:The injury to Terry Funk, what is the severity of it. When will he be back.
Norman Smiley:Basically we are looking at a crushed C-5 vertabrae, several other severly damaged vertabrae, and a cracked collar bone. As for he can be back, it will be 8 to 12 months, if he is ever back. The chances of Terry Funk being back is slim to none and that drives me to teach Shane Douglas a lesson at Gold Rush.
Joey:Norman, thank you for your time.
Norman Smiley:No Problem
We slowly fade back to the arena. Then we fade to the Triple Threat lockeroom.
Shane Douglas is sitting watching the promo. Chris Candido walks into the room. Shane Douglas gets up.
Shane Douglas:(mocking tone, in a badly attempted british accent)and I am going to teach Shane Douglas a lesson at Gold Rush(regular voice). Well you try that, but I will promise on thing. Norman will be in a hospital bed right beside that throwback from the jurassic age, Terry Funk. After I break his neck and trust me I will.
Chris Candido:Maybe Norman does have a small chance. You know what they say. Beware the wrath of an englishman scorned, or something to that effect.
Shane grabs Candido by the shirt and slams him up against the dressing room wall.
Shane:Lets make one thing perfectly straight. Nobody can beat the greatest NAWA champion of all time. Don't even think their is a chance. and why I am at it you better not fuck up tonight. If you lose the tag team titles, I will break your fucking neck. Understand.
Candido:(weakly): Yes, Shane.
Francine pokes her head out of the shower room.
Francine:What was that racket all about.
Shane Douglas:Nothing that concerns you. Go back. It wasn't important.
Francine shrugs and turns around. We see her back view. She isn't wearing anything. But we pan from the waist up on her back to avoid any, well you now, any unapproiate camera shots.

The Triple Threat are not looking too pleased by this turn of events. Providing that they get past Norman and Jarrett tonight, they will face two world class teams for the NAWA tag team titles at Gold Rush.
