It is now down to two men. Harry Harris or Norman Smiley. One of them will face Sting for the NAWA World Title at Last Chance at Redemption. Harris enters the ring and pounds away at Norman. Harris is taking his time, almost like this match is in the bag. Harris better not underestimate Norman Smiley. Norman Smiley beat Jerry Lynn at WrestleClash for the NAWA International Title and nearly beat Shane Douglas to win the NAWA World Title at Goldrush. Harris now with a kick. Harris now clotheslines Norman over the top. Norman hangs on. Norman now hammers Harris and reenters the ring. Norman now grabs Harris and punches away at him. Norman now grabs Harris and attempts to throw him over the top but Harris puts the breaks on. Harris now rolls back into the ring and Harris with a low blow on Norman. Harris now sends Norman over the top rope but Norman hangs onto the arm. Both men tumble over the top rope. Who hit first? Whomever hit last is the Number One Contender. Ladies and Gentlemen, the two referees stationed at ringside are conversing with each other.

We are LIVE from Peoria IL for two of the greatest hours of wrestling on Television, NAWA Glory. Tonight Shane Douglas will face Steve Corino for the NAWA International Title. The final first round matches in the NAWA Tag Team Tournament will air. Sting will defend the NAWA World Title against the Dark Warrior in the first ever Black Baseball Bat Lumberjack Match. This is Warrior's final chance to win the NAWA World Title until his contract comes up for renewal in July 2004(Nearly 2 years from now). The Lumberjacks on the outside will have black baseball bats like Sting had during his crow period. The First Ever Black Baseball Bat Lumberjack Match is YOUR feature bout tonight. We have to go backstage now because the Gambler is investigating who stole his Jobber Title right about now.

Backstage:

The Gambler is walking backstage where Tom Brandi and Steve Armstrong are chilling by a water cooler.

Gambler:You two. Two Questions. Have you seen a person wearing a mask similar to this(holds up a scream mask like the one worn by the theif that stole the Jobber Title Belt) or perhaps one of you are that mysterious masked men.

Steve Armstrong:Gambler why would we lower ourselves to the Jobber Division. I am a Jobber to the Stars. JTTS if you please. So is Tom Brandi.

Gambler:Okay but I am going to keep an eye on you. Everyone is a suspect in this crime.

Gambler walks off, still looking for the masked man.

"Come With Me" by Puff Daddy plays and out comes Steve Corino. Corino's suck up for a cheap pop jershy this week is a Peoria Pirates one. Corino holds up the NAWA International Title Belt. He will face the man who brought him into the NAWA, Shane Douglas.

"Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple plays and out comes Shane Douglas.

Douglas:Cut the fucking music. Tonight the fucking fun ends for you Steve Corino. Tonight I finish you off and send you out of MY fed with your tail between your legs. I will win the NAWA International Title and then throw it in the fucking garbage because it isn't worth my fucking time. Sting, I am coming after you next and taking what is MINE. Terry Funk, if you get involved, I will retire you ten days early. Now ring the fucking bell.

NAWA International Title Match Steve Corino(c) vs Shane Douglas

They circle each other. Douglas locks up and Douglas with a side headlock. Douglas cranks on the headlock. Corino attempts to shove Douglas off but Douglas hangs on. Douglas with more headlocking. Douglas now takes Corino down to the mat. Douglas works the headlock some on the mat. Douglas now jaws with some fans at ringside while working the headlock. Douglas headlocks Corino some more. Corino rolls out of the headlock. One, Douglas shifts his weight back again headlocking Corino. Douglas is cranking on this hold. He is wearing down Steve Corino. Taking his time. Douglas cranks the hold and utters an F-Bomb while cranking on the hold. Douglas with more headlocking. Corino counters by rolling Douglas out of the hold. One, Douglas shifts his weight back into the headlock. Douglas with that headlock clamped on tight. Corino now gets to his feet and drives a weak elbow into the stomach of Douglas with another weak elbow. Corino now breaks the hold and chops Douglas. Corino with another chop to Douglas. Corino with a third chop to Douglas. Douglas slides to the outside and paces around the ring. The referee is putting the count on Douglas but Douglas is not rushing back in. He is taking as much as a breather as he can. Douglas rolls back in at nine and rolls back out. Corino is starting to get agitated with the Franchise. Douglas is taking a walk around the ring again. Corino is not going after Douglas because there could be a high chance for a mistake. Douglas enters the ring and wants a greco roman knuckle lock. Corino accepts and they lock knuckles. Both men are attempting to overpower the other one but it looks pretty even right about now. Douglas releases the knuckle lock and goes to the outside. Douglas takes another walk around the ring. Douglas could get himself counted out if he is out there for too long. Douglas however rolls back in at nine. They lock up and Douglas goes behind with a hammerlock. Douglas is wrenching the arm of Steve Corino. He keeps on wrenching that arm hard. Douglas is grinding that hammerlock into Corino. Corino attempts to grab the hair but Douglas is just out of reach of Corino. Douglas now forces Corino down to the mat and grinds on the hammerlock. Douglas with more hammerlocking on Corino.

Corino is inching his way towards the ropes. Little by little he is making it closer. He makes it to the ropes. Douglas has to break the hold. One, Two, Three, Four, Break. Douglas doesn't look too happy and he picks up Corino. Douglas with a snap mare. Douglas now with an armbar to Corino. Douglas is cranking on the arm trying for a submission. Douglas is slowly wearing down Steve Corino to the point of nothing. Douglas cranks on the armbar but Corino powers to his feet. Douglas releases the hold and slaps Corino right across the face. Corino massages his cheek and they lock up. Corino goes behind with a waistlock but Douglas with a snap mare. Douglas now with a full nelson. Douglas now is cranking the hold on. Douglas doesn't have the fingers locked properly, so it isn't as effective as it could be. Douglas now forces Corino down and Corino is on his back. Douglas is putting a lot of pressure on this hold trying to put Corino out. Corino gets to a sitting position and Douglas leans forward. Douglas is pouring the pressure on. Corino attempts to get to his feet but this hold is locked on tightly. Corino is on one knee and Douglas is leaning forward. The fingers are still loose on the hold. All Corino has to do is completely break the hold. Corino gets to his feet and Corino uses Douglas's own arms to send him to the mat. Douglas now goes to the outside and Corino is fed up right about now. Corino baseball slides to the outside. Corino with a punch. Corino with another punch. Corino with another punch. Corino now grabs Douglas and headfirst into the ring apron. Corino throws Douglas back into the ring and stalks him. Douglas begs off but Corino isn't having any of it. Corino chops Douglas. Corino chops Douglas. Corino grabs Douglas by the hair but gets a thumb to the eye. Douglas then clotheslines Corino down to the canvas. Douglas now grabs Corino and puts him in a headlock. The crowd boos on that one. Douglas tells some fans to go f**k themselves while he cranks the headlock on Corino. Douglas now has this headlock on good. Corino has to watch his shoulders. Actually it would suck to be pinned with a headlock. We have had jobber matches end with a headlock but not two main eventers. Corino shifts into a roll up. One, Two, Douglas goes back into the headlock. Douglas now breaks the hold. Douglas picks up Corino and whips him into the ropes. Douglas with a kick to the midsection. Douglas now with a hiptoss onto Corino. Douglas now puts a chinlock on Corino. Douglas is leaning the hold on Corino. Douglas is wearing Corino down to the mat. Attempting to put him out for the submission. Corino's shoulders are on the mat. One, Two, Shoulder up. Corino rises up. Douglas now slips the arm down to the throat for a second for a chokehold. Douglas slips the arm back up when the referee attempts to get a better look. Douglas now is slowly forcing Corino down to the mat. Corino's shoulders are down on the canvas. One, Shoulder up.

Douglas now works the chinlock some more. Trying to force Corino down to the mat. Corino now is fading fast or maybe he is just playing possum to lure Shane Douglas into a false sense of sercurity. The referee is checking the arm of Corino. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee is checking the arm again. The arm lifts and it stays up. One and a half arm drops. Normally it is two and a half. Corino now fights to his feet and backs Douglas into the corner. Corino now chops Douglas. Corino with another chop but Douglas sticks a thumb into the eye of Corino. Douglas now chops Corino in the corner. The crowd woos and Douglas yells:"Flair sucks Triple H's dick." Douglas now with a punch to Corino. Douglas now snap mares Corino and kick to the back right between the shoulder blades. Douglas now picks up Corino and whips him in. Douglas charges into the corner but he eats boot. Corino now comes out of the corner with a chop on Douglas. Corino with another chop. Corino with a third chop. Corino with a fourth sending the challenger crashing down to the canvas. Corino now knocks down Douglas with a big punch as he rises to his feet. Corino now picks up Douglas and Corino with an European Uppercut. Corino whips Douglas into the ropes and rebounds with a flying headscissors takeover. That was picture perfect. Corino now dropkicks Douglas and Douglas takes a powder to the outside. Douglas is checking his teeth because he might have lost one because of that vicious dropkick. Corino now baseball slides Douglas into the guardrail and he hits sternum first hard. Douglas is hurt and Corino throws Douglas back into the ring. Corino slides in for the cover. One, Two, Kickout. Corino now picks up Douglas but gets a low blow. Douglas now with a DDT driving Corino headfirst into the canvas. Douglas with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas now puts the chinlock on Corino and this would be a good time to step out for a commericial break.

We are back and Corino is just fighting to his feet. Corino with a back elbow. Corino with another back elbow. Douglas takes Corino down to the mat by the hair. Douglas now picks up Corino and punches him. Douglas with another punch to Corino. Douglas with a third punch. Douglas now whips Corino in and charges in. Douglas clotheslines Corino in the corner. Douglas now with a snap mare and Douglas with a stomp to the face of Corino. Douglas now picks up Corino and backbreaker. Douglas now hangs on and another backbreaker. Douglas goes for a third backbreaker but Corino elbows him off. Corino chops Douglas. Douglas with a thumb to the eye to stop that flurry. Douglas throws Corino over the top and to the floor. Douglas now goes to the outside and is on the apron. Douglas with a double axehandle to the back off the ring apron and to the floor. Douglas now slams Corino headfirst into the ring apron before rolling him back in. Douglas now slides in. Douglas picks up Corino and Douglas with a slap to the face of Corino. Douglas showing little to no respect at all for Steve Corino. Douglas now chokes Corino in the corner. One, Two, Three, Four, Break. Douglas with a knee to the gut. Douglas now hooks Corino and gutbuster. Corino is clutching his ribs from that one. Douglas with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas is bitching about a slow count but the count was fair. Douglas now picks up Corino in a bearhug type hold and drives him backfirst into the corner. Douglas now with a forearm smash to the face of Corino. Douglas now with an open handed slap to the chest of Corino. That made a hell of a sound. Douglas now with a punch. Douglas with another punch. Douglas whips Corino into the ropes and Douglas with a spear as Corino bounces off the ropes. Douglas now drops an elbow to Corino. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas now picks up Corino and powerslams him. Douglas is not going for the cover. Douglas now is climbing to the second rope. Douglas now drops an elbow righ to the sternum of Corino. Douglas with a cover. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas can't believe it. Corino is still in this match. Douglas now grabs Corino and throws him headfirst into the corner. Douglas punches Corino. Corino chops back. Douglas with a kick right below the belt to stop the offense. Douglas now with a neckbreaker taking Corino down.

Douglas now picks up Corino and whips him in. Douglas with a spinebuster slam. Douglas now yells:"Is this your International Champion? More like a chump." Douglas now grabs Corino and hooks him. Douglas turns Corino over into the Boston Crab. Douglas is sitting down on the spine of Corino. Douglas leans back putting a lot of pressure on the spine. Douglas is looking for the submission. We would never hear the end of it if Steve Corino submitted to Shane Douglas. Corino now is scratching towards the ropes. Can he make it? Corino is inching his way, inch by inch, towards the ropes. Corino is reaching. Corino is reaching. Corino gets the ropes but barley. Douglas has to break the hold. One, Two, Three, Four, Break. Douglas is risking disqualification here. Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas with a punch. Douglas with a forearm to the face. Douglas whips Corino into the ropes and Douglas with a back elbow as Corino bounces off the ropes. Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas hooks him. Douglas now holds up Corino for ten seconds and drives him down to the mat with a delayed vertical suplex. Douglas with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas shoves the referee and orders him to count faster. Douglas now picks up Corino and punches him. Douglas with another punch. Douglas with a third punch. Douglas now lifts Corino and inverted atomic drop. Douglas with a clothesline taking Corino down. Douglas now chokes Corino. One, Two, Three, Four, Break. Douglas now hooks Corino and backbreaker. Douglas holds on and another backbreaker. Douglas holds on and a third backbreaker. Douglas holds for a submission. Douglas is bending the spine of Corino across his knee. This could be a very crippling move. Douglas also pulls Corino's head back in the move. The referee is asking Corino if he wants to give but Corino says now. Douglas now releases the hold and he goes for the cover. One, Two, Shoulder up. Douglas grabs the referee by the shirt and backs him into the corner. Douglas slaps his hands together at what he thinks should be a proper speed for a three count. Douglas turns around and gets superkicked from Corino. Douglas bitching out the referee may have cost him. Corino is down however. His back is sore from the work that Douglas has done on it. Corino is crawling over. Corino rolls an arm onto Douglas. One, Two, Kickout. If Corino would have covered right away, he would have had Douglas pinned. Corino now is up and he is using the ropes to pull himself up. This match has gone on for over 20 minutes and we are rapidly approaching a half hour of match time right now. Corino now grabs Douglas and kick to the gut. Corino now punches Douglas. Douglas knees Corino right in the back. That back is gone. Douglas now with a belly to back suplex on Corino. Douglas with a cover. One, Two, Shoulder up. Douglas is yelling at the referee to count. He doesn't turn his back on Corino however after whatever happened last time.

Douglas now rolls Corino and camel clutch. Douglas is sitting down on the spine of Corino. Again attempting to get a submission. Douglas is showing he has quite a bit of offense tucked away to use in big matches. This may best matches in the history of Glory and it isn't over yet. Douglas pulls back and Douglas elbows Corino in the eye. Douglas now releases the hold and jumps on Corino's back, driving his tailbone into the lower back. Douglas now drives the knee into the back. Douglas with another knee driven into the back. Douglas picks up Corino and throws him into the corner. Douglas now whips Corino into the corner again. That whip had vicious velocity. Corino's back smacked the corner hard. Corino falls facefirst into the mat and Douglas drops an elbow to the lower back area. Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas hooks Corino. Douglas with a side slam. Douglas doesn't bother to go for the cover. Douglas goes into a surfboard instead. Douglas has to watch his shoulders from getting pinned in this move. Douglas is putting a lot of stress on the back of Corino. Corino is yelling at in pain. The referee is asking Corino if he wants to submit but Corino shakes his head no. Douglas now releases the hold and goes back into the camel cltuch. Douglas is not only sitting down on the back but he is pulling back on the head. Douglas is making this a painful experience for Corino. You got to wonder if Steve Corino sort of regrets leaving the Triple Threat now. Douglas now is asking the referee to check the arm. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee is checking the arm again. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee is checking the arm again. The arm lifts and IT STAYS UP. Corino is attempting to fight to his feet. Corino now falls backwards crushing Douglas. Corino's back is still hurt and he is unable to cover. This could be a double countout. Douglas is pulling himself up at eight and he falls on Corino for the cover. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. The crowd can't believe it. They thought it was over. Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas with a punch. Douglas whips Corino into the corner. Douglas charges in but Corino ducks down. Douglas hits his arm on the post. Douglas is hurt and we got to step out for a....

We are back and Corino is working the armbar. Corino now is pulling back attempting to hyperextend the elbow of Douglas. Corino is keeping this match on the ground for a bit to rest up his back. Corino hit the post and Corino has been working this armbar all throughout the commericial break. Douglas is attempting to fight up to his feet but Corino wrings out the arm some. Corino then brings the arm down across his own shoulder. Corino now grabs the arm and punches it. Douglas is attempting to escape. Corino slides to the outside and Corino chops Douglas. Corino brings down Douglas's arm on the steel steps. Corino does it again. Douglas rolls back into the ring clutching his arm. Corino now chops Douglas again. Corino with another chop. Corino now with an armdrag and Douglas is moaning from the pain in his arm. Corino now hammerlocks Douglas. Corino is really working over that arm. Corino is not rushing. Corino now adds a toehold to the hammerlock. Pretty interesting submission move from Corino. Corino now is pulling back in the move and Douglas tells the referee to fuck off when he asks for a submission. I guess that means no. Douglas makes it to the ropes and Corino with a clean break. Corino now grabs the arm and runs across the ring. Corino folds the arm over the top rope while dropping to the hold. Corino now drives the arm over the ring apron. Corino now reenters the ring and Corino chops Douglas. Corino with another chop. Corino whips Douglas into the corner. Corino now with a kick to the midsection. Corino drives Douglas now to the mat with a single arm DDT. Corino now goes for the cross armbreaker. This move could cripple someone. Corino is pulling back. Douglas is attempting to inch his way towards the ropes. He is attempting to get his foot on the rope. Douglas scoots and he finally puts the foot on the bottom rope. Corino with a clean break. Corino now stomps the arm some. Corino picks up Douglas and wrings out the arm some. Corino drives an elbow to the shoulder. Corino now goes behind and Corino chickenwings the arm. Douglas trick leg acts up and Corino goes down to the mat hurting. That was a dirty tactic by Douglas.

Douglas now picks up Corino. Douglas whips him into the corner. Douglas with a punch. Douglas with another punch. Douglas with a third punch. Douglas with a rake to the face. Douglas now snap mares Corino and Douglas with a one armed chinlock. That move isn't on very good because Douglas's right shoulder is sore from being attacked. Corino gets to his feet but Douglas cheapshots Corino. Douglas now grabs Corino by the hair and throws him over the top rope and to the floor. Douglas rolls to the outside. Douglas shakes his shoulder attempting to disguise some of the pain. Douglas picks up Corino in a bodyslam and rams him spinefirst into the ringpost. Douglas now backs up and rams Corino spinefirst into the ringpost again. Douglas backs up and does it one more time. Douglas rolls back into the ring breaking the count and rolls right back out. Douglas then rolls a wounded Corino back into the ring. Douglas with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is up and he grabs the referee. Douglas lifts up the referee and sets him down. The referee punches Douglas. Douglas staggers into a roll up by Corino. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas now with a knee to the gut as Corino gets up. Douglas now whips Corino into the corner and he hits spinefirst. Douglas with a kick to the gut and Douglas with a DDT. Douglas floats over for the cover. One, Two, Thr...kickout. Corino is starting to get worn down by Douglas. Douglas now picks up Corino and goes for a suplex but his shoulder gives out. Corino now with an armbar takedown. Both men are down and the ten count is being put on. Corino rolls onto Douglas for the cover. Could Corino have it? One, Two, Shoulder up. Douglas got the shoulder up. Corino now picks up Douglas and whips him into the ropes. Corino with a kick to the midsection. Corino goes for a double underhook but he can't get Douglas up because of the back. Douglas pops up and clotheslines Corino....with the bad arm. Douglas rolls around, clutching his arm. Douglas pulls himself up and Corino is up but Douglas kicks Corino into the gut. Douglas goes for the Belly to Belly suplex but Corino blocks and hits an overhead version of the move. Both men are down and again the ten count is being put on. That had to put some strain on the back of Corino to get Douglas over but Douglas couldn't get the Belly to Belly because of the arm. Both men pull themselves up at the count of nine. Douglas and Corino swing and both men punch each other at the same time. The referee is putting the count on again. Douglas rolls over for the cover. One, Two, Shoulder up. Douglas can't believe it. Douglas now picks up Corino and chops him. Douglas with an open handed slap to the chest. Douglas now with a slap to the face. Douglas now whips Corino into the buckles and Douglas catches Corino with a spinebuster as he comes out of the corner. Douglas then falls on top for the cover. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is too fatigued to protest. He picks up Corino and gets cradled. One, Two, Douglas kicks out at two. Douglas now hits a cheapshot forearm to Corino as he gets back up.

Douglas now picks up Corino. Douglas hooks Corino and Douglas with a kick to the midsection. Douglas now hooks Corino and goes for the Pittsburg Plunge but Corino with a block. Douglas with another attempt and Corino with another block. Corino reverses into a fisherman suplex. One, Two, Kickout. Corino is up and Corino chops Douglas. Corino with another chop. The sweat is flying off the chest of the Franchise right about now. Corino now lifts Douglas for a slam but his back gives out. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino's back is killing him from that punishment earlier. Corino has to play his cards wisely to walk out of here with the NAWA International Title. Douglas now with the Oklahoma Side Roll, pinning Corino down to the canvas. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is a half a second away from winning the title. Douglas now picks up Corino and punches him. Douglas whips Corino into the ropes and Douglas with a running elbowsmash knocking Corino down. Douglas drops down to his hands and knees because of fatigue. Both of these men may be remembering this match and feeling the effects of it for quite some time. Douglas now crawls over to Corino and covers him. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino won't go down. These two have been go at it for almost three quarters of an hour. Douglas now picks up Corino and drives him in the corner spine first. Douglas now chops Corino. Sweat is flyling off of the chest of Corino on that one. We are back and Corino chops Douglas. Corino with another chop to Douglas. The sweat flies off the pecs. Corino now whips Douglas into the ropes. Corino goes for a superkick but Douglas avoids it. Douglas with a neckbreaker and both men are down. Douglas now slides an arm over the chest of Corino. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas with a punch to Corino. Douglas throws Corino into the ropes. Douglas now with a knee to the gut. Douglas goes for a gutwrench suplex but he can't do it because of the arm. Douglas rakes the eyes of Corino. Douglas now rolls to the outside. Douglas throws the timekeeper out of his chair. Douglas has a steel chair. Douglas is really risking it. Douglas brings the chair into the ring but the referee wrestles it away from him. The referee goes to take the chair to the outside and Douglas kicks Corino in the groin behind the referee's back. Douglas then with a double leg takedown and Douglas bridges for a cover. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is about ready to pop the referee one but he thinks better of it. Douglas goes for a clothesline but Corino ducks. Corino with a kick to the gut. Corino now throws Douglas into the corner. Corino with a punch to the gut. Corino with another punch to the gut. Corino with another punch to the gut. Corino now puts Douglas on the top rope and Corino climbs up with him. Corino goes for a superplex but it is blocked. Corino slugs Douglas. He is overheated from this battle by the looks of it. Corino falls on top of Douglas. One, Two, Thr....shoulder up. Douglas still gets the shoulder up. This is down to who gets the next big move, if they have enough left to get that big move. Douglas slides to the outside. Douglas has a glass water pitcher that was laying on the announcers table. Douglas now is in. His hair is soaked from the sweat. His body is also soaked making it nearly impossible to get a good grip. Corino doesn't really look any better. Douglas now pulls Corino up and punches him. Douglas with another punch. Douglas is doing this at almost half speed. Douglas with another punch attempt but Corino grabs the fist and twists Douglas into a backslide. One, Two, Shoulder up. Both men are down and here comes the ten count again. Corino is up and Corino is leaning on the ropes for support. Douglas is up and Douglas staggers forward. Douglas with a punch but Corino blocks it. Corino with a chop. Corino with another chop. Corino with a third chop. Corino holds Douglas and Corino with an atomic drop. Corino now elbows Douglas. Corino throws Douglas into the ropes. Corino goes for a high cross body but Douglas counters with a backbreaker. Douglas collapses to the mat. Douglas is sliding over. He is going to go for the pin. Douglas slides on top of Corino. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas picks up Corino and punches him. Douglas with another punch. Douglas with a third punch. Douglas now grabs Corino and backdrop suplex. Corino cranks on the arm pulling back on it. Douglas's arm was worked on some earlier but that was many minutes ago. Corino pulls back on the arm and Douglas isn't even burning any energy attempting to get to the ropes. It would be easier to not fight the hold for a couple of minutes or submit. Douglas should just submit and end this. The referee is checking the arm of Douglas. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee checks the arm again. The arm lifts and the arm falls. Douglas now rolls over for the pin. One, Two, Thr...kickout. The crowd held their breath on that one. They thought it was over. Douglas now pulls Corino up and whips him into the ropes. Douglas cranks the sleeperhold on Corino. Normally this wouldn't be a finish but since this match has been going on for almost an hour now, it could very well be one. Shane Douglas is forcing Corino down to the canvas. Corino is on one knee. Corino is now on two knees. Corino is now laying on his back on the canvas. Douglas adds a bodyscissors to really squeeze the air out of Corino. The referee is checking Corino. Seeing if he wants to give up. Corino shakes his head no. He is still in this match but barley. Corino punches the legs. The bodyscissors is released but Shane shifts to a choke. Corino is stunned and Douglas goes back to the sleeper when the referee gets a closer look. The referee is checking the arm of Corino. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee checks the arm again. The arm lifts and the arm falls. The referee checks the arm a third time. The arm lifts and IT STAYS UP. Corino's leg is twitching. He is attempting to pull himself to his feet. Corino elbows Douglas. Corino with another elbow to Douglas. Corino with a third elbow. Corino now with a jawbreaker and both men are down. The ten count is on again. Whomever can roll over first has a good chance of winning this thing. Corino now grabs Douglas and irish whip into the ropes no reversal. The referee gets squashed into the corner by Corino. Douglas now with a punch to Corino. Douglas goes for a clothesline but Corino ducks it and the referee gets squashed. The referee falls to the outside twitching. Corino goes for the superkick but Douglas ducks it. Douglas knees Corino in the ribs and drives him down with the Franchiser. Douglas used the bad shoulder. Douglas is clutching his shoulder in pain. The referee is down. Corino is down. Douglas is down. What will happen next? There is no referee to put the count on both men so they may lay down on that canvas with nothing happened for a while. Douglas is just pulling himself up to his feet. Just before the break this match has been going on for an entire hour which would have been a draw but the referee is down and cannot call for the draw. Douglas staggers to the outside. Douglas takes the top off of the water pitcher and soaks his head in it. Douglas now goes underneath the ring. Douglas has got a trash can lid. Corino is staggered to his feet and Douglas swings the lid at Corino but Corino ducks it. Corino with a reverse single arm DDT taking both men down. Corino now rolls Douglas over and crossface hold. Corino has the arm grapevined and he is pulling back on the head of Douglas. Douglas looks about ready to submit but there is no referee to register a submission. Corino rolls to the outside and attempts to wake the referee up. Douglas is up and he massages his elbow. Douglas is on the apron and Corino doesn't see him. Douglas with a double axehandle to Corino and Corino crashes into the referee. The referee gets knocked silly again. Douglas now throws Corino into the ringsteps hard. Douglas now has the ring bell. Douglas rushes at Corino with the ring bell but it gets kicked in his face. Corino now punches away at Douglas. Corino with another punch. Corino with a third punch. Corino throws Douglas back into the ring. Corino then drops down to his knees at ringside because of exhaustion. Corino uses the bottom rope to pull himself up and rushes Douglas. Douglas ducks and belly to belly suplex. Douglas planted Corino with that one but both men are down. This match should have been over before the last commericial but the referee got knocked down and could not call for the time limit draw. Both men are lying in the ring. The referee is still down at ringside. Someone better get medical attention and get a fresh referee out here. Ricky Steamboat is in a meeting with top level NAWA executives on the World Title Contendership situation so he is probaly not watching this match. Douglas is down and Douglas rolls an arm onto Corino. Three. If the referee would have been in it would have been three. Not that it would have mattered however because this match would have been over before the last commericial break. Douglas doesn't look too pleased. Douglas now lifts Corino and goes for another suplex but Corino blocks it. Corino goes behind and goes for a reverse DDT but Douglas blocks it. Corino with a block of his own and both men reverse DDT each other at the same time. Both men are down. They are lying on the canvas with the only movement coming from very shallow breathing because of the amount of time they have logged in the ring so far. This move may have been the move to take both men out. Both men are lying on the mat stunned from that double reverse DDT. Both men are rolling around on the canvas twitching.

Douglas is pulling himself up first because he less worse for wear. Douglas that collaspes to his knees. Douglas can barely stand for two seconds. Douglas pulls himself up again. Douglas now picks up Corino and punches him. Douglas goes for another punch but it is ducked. Roll Up from Corino. No ref. None at all. Douglas kicks out. Douglas now goes into his tights and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. Douglas attempts to hit Corino with the knuckles but Corino ducks it. Corino attempts to suplex Douglas but gets hit with the knuckles. Douglas now rolls to the outside. Douglas picks up the referee and slides him back in. Douglas now with a cover and Douglas takes the referee's limp arm. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas can't believe it. Douglas now hooks Corino and Douglas with a punch. Corino returns with one of his own. Corino chops Douglas and the sweat flies off the chest once again. Corino with another chop. Corino with a third chop. Corino whips Douglas into the corner. Corino with a dropkick taking Douglas down. Corino pulls himself up. Corino now is going up top. Corino is up top and Corino with a double axehandle taking Douglas down. Corino is going up top again. The referee is starting to stir from getting knocked down. Corino goes for another double axehandle off the top but Douglas shoves the recovering referee into the blow. Corino is attempting to revive the referee and Douglas with a low blow. Douglas cradles Corino pulling the tights. Pulling the referee in the way of that move may have bit Douglas in the ass. Corino kicks out. Corino is up and Corino with a kick. Corino with another kick. Corino now with an armbar takedown. Corino now goes into the fujiwara armbar. Corino pulls back on the arm. Douglas is tapping but there is no referee to register the submission. Corino is trying to break Douglas's arm right now. Corino yanks and pulls back. Douglas is tapping like a madman but there is no referee to call for the bell. Corino releases the hold and Corino attempts to shake the referee back to life. Corino goes to the outside and grabs a fan's beer. He pours it on the referee. Meanwhile Douglas has the chain out from his boot. Corino is helping the referee up. Douglas is loading up the fist. Douglas punches Corino down with the chain as he turns around. Douglas stuffs the chain down his tights before going for the cover. The referee crawls into position. The referee begins to count. One......Two.......Thr....Shoulder up. Corino got the shoulder up before the referee's hand to hit the mat a third time. Douglas grabs the referee and bitches about the slow count. Douglas is well in his rights with this one but the match should have been over about 10 minutes ago because of the 60 Minute Time Limit. Corino charges at Douglas but Douglas moves and Douglas shoves Corino into the referee. Douglas rolls up Corino but no referee is counting. Douglas utters out a very audible:"fuck this."

Douglas rolls to the outside and grabs a chair. Douglas is going to finish off Steve Corino but out comes Terry Funk, Shane Douglas's opponent in 10 Days at Last Chance at Redemption. Funk grabs the chair out of Douglas's hands and Corino baseball slides Douglas down. Corino now throws the Franchise back into the ring and Corino chops Douglas. Funk takes the fallen referee's shirt off and puts it on. Funk is taking over as referee by the looks of it. Corino and Douglas are going punch for punch and both men knock each other down. Funk is counting out both men but at half speed. I think he is entertained by seeing Shane Douglas getting the hell beat out of him. Douglas is up and Douglas pulls Corino up. Douglas hooks Corino and Pittsburg Plunge but Corino counters with a single arm DDT. The shoulder may be gone. Corino rolls on top and Terry Funk gets down to count. One, Two, Kickout. Douglas kicked out at two. Both men are starting to get a second wind or maybe a third wind in this match. Corino picks up Douglas and Corino with a gutwrench suplex. Corino holds on and Corino with another gutwrench suplex. Corino holds on and Corino with a version of the Dominator. Corino rolls Douglas over again and standby referee Terry Funk is once again on top of things. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is like a cockroach. He keeps coming back after you think you are done with him. Corino now picks up Douglas and throws him into the corner. Corino goes for the Old School Explusion but Douglas with a block. Douglas now low blows Corino and throws him over the top rope and to the floor. Funk tells Douglas to "watch the low blows" and Douglas spits at Funk. Douglas rolls to the outside and Corino with a back kick to the ribs. Corino now slams Douglas's head off of the steps. Corino now punches Douglas. Corino with another punch. Corino with a third punch. Corino charges Douglas but Douglas ducks and Corino hits headfirst into the ringpost. Good god. Corino is bleeding from going into that ringpost. He may have split his head open hitting the solid steel. Douglas now throws Corino back into the ring and we have to step out for a

We are back and we see a close up of Corino wearing the crimson mask while in a chinlock. We see Corino hitting head on with the post before the break and during the break Douglas hammers the wound with a series of punches while trapping Corino in a headlock. Terry Funk is checking the arm of Corino. The arm lifts and it falls. Terry Funk holds up one finger. Terry Funk checks the arm again. The arm lifts and the arm fall. Terry Funk holds up two fingers. Terry Funk checks the arm a third time. The arm lifts and IT STAYS UP. Corino's leg is twitching. he is attempting to power to his feet. Corino has it and Corino backs Douglas into the corner. Corino falls from the blood loss and Douglas is undoing the turnbuckle. Terry Funk however has seen every dirty trick in the book at least 500 times in his career so he pulls Douglas off. Douglas goes for a punch but Funk blocks it. Corino now rolls up Douglas from behind. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino now superkicks Douglas but Corino falls facefirst onto the canvas. Funk puts the count on both men. This could be a double knockout this time. Both men have been down so many times in this match. Corino now goes up top. Corino is going for the finish. Corino dives off and diving headbutt. Corino is on top and Funk with the count. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Funk throws his hands up in the air. Corino now picks up Douglas and goes for a slam but Douglas counters with a low blow. Douglas now puts Corino in a standing headscissors and Piledriver on Corino. Corino's skull just bounces off of the canvas. Blood is dripping down the forehead of Corino and Corino's blood is on the tights of Douglas as well from that piledriver. Douglas with a cover. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Again. Douglas is beside himself and he looks to be on the verge of pulling his own hair. Douglas now with the Dragon Sleeper. Douglas is going for the submission win again. Douglas's arm gives out. He could not hold the move on because of the bum arm. Douglas now cradles the arm and massages it to attempt to bring some life into it. Douglas now picks up Corino and hooks him. Douglas with the Belly To Belly Suplex. This should do it. Terry Funk with is down for the count. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas is now bitching at Funk about the count but to be honest, that count was a little fast. Funk may want Douglas to be the champion so he gets the shot at the PPV. Douglas now goes for another suplex but Corino counters with the EXPLODAH~! Douglas was dumped on the back of his head and Funk is starting the count again. Both men are down no Corino rolls over onto Douglas at five. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino picks up Douglas. Corino with a chop. Corino with a chop. Corino with a chop. Douglas slumps into the corner and Corino pulls him out. Douglas pulled the rest of the padding off on the way out of the corner.

Corino with a gutshot. Corino with another gutshot. Corino backs up and charges at Douglas but Douglas catches him. Douglas drops Corino facefirst onto the exposed steel. That must have made the bleeding worst. Douglas struts over and is going to go for the cover. Funk is refusing to count. Douglas used an illegal tactic so Funk is refusing to make the count. Douglas is up and Douglas goes for a punch but Funk blocks it. Funk throws Douglas's hand back and Douglas shoves Funk. Funk looks for the approval of the crowd and Corino with a clothesline to Douglas. Funk turns around and decks Corino. Funk thought he was going to hit Douglas but Corino knocked down Douglas in the few seconds his back was turned so he hit Corino. Douglas goes for the cover and Funk counts. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas pops up and charges Funk but Funk ducks and Douglas hits the corner. Corino rolls up Douglas from the backside. One, Two, Thr...Douglas kicks Corino into Funk. Funk gets knocked down. Douglas now with a boot no caught and spun around. Corino now with a knee to the gut and Old School Explosion. Corino goes for the cover and Funk slides over to count the pin. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino picks up Douglas and Emerald Frosion from Corino. This match has gone on for One Hour and Twenty One Minutes. We are Nine Minutes from the end of the program. We do have other matches. Maybe we will get a word on what will happen with them. Anyway Corino covers. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino now hooks Douglas and throws him into the ropes. Corino charges in but Douglas gets both boots up in the face. Corino now trips Douglas and roll up with the feet on the ropes. Terry Funk refuses to count. Douglas is now into Funk's face and Corino charges at Douglas but hits Funk. Douglas now with a gutwrench suplex taking Corino down and Douglas has a chair. He is going to finish the job on Corino. Douglas is in and he swings the chair. Corino superkicks the chair into the face of Douglas. Can Corino do it? Can he win this match with 7 and a half minutes to go in the show? Corino with the cover and Funk crawls over. Funk counts. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas kicks out. Funk is still a bit woozy from getting bumped. Corino is up and Corino has the chair. Corino swings it at Douglas but Douglas ducks. Douglas with a kick to the groin and Douglas has the chair but Funk takes it away. Douglas spits at Funk and Funk finally loses his temper. Funk swings the chair at Douglas NO Douglas ducks and Corino gets the full blast. Douglas now with the cover. Funk with the count. One, Two, Thr...foot on the rope.

Douglas now picks up Corino and Douglas with a kneebreaker. Douglas now wrenches the knee. Douglas now wrenches the knee. Douglas now drops an elbow to the leg. I am not sure it is wise for Douglas to change is focus so late in the game. We see a replay of that near match ended mistimed chairshot. Douglas now goes for a spinning toehold but Corion pulls Douglas into a small package. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas clips Corino. Douglas with a kick to the knee. Douglas with a kick to the knee. Douglas now with a dragon screw. The leg folds at an unhealthy angle. Five minute warning. This match should have been over 25 Minutes ago but the official referee is down and Commisioner Steamboat is in a board meeting so no order can be restored. Douglas now lifts Corino for the Franchise Effect. This could conpress the spine of Corino but Corino slides down. Corino with a reverse roll up. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. It is now a matter of Corino playing the waiting game. He has 4:25 left in the show. If he can outlast Douglas, he keeps the title. Douglas now with the Belly To Belly Suplex onto Corino and Douglas folds the leg back in the kneebar. The pain may be too great. Corino has to submit. Douglas has proven that he can still hang with the younger stars tonight. Corino however is inching his way towards the ropes. He makes it. Douglas breaks the hold cleanly. He is not wasting any time holding up. Douglas now hooks Corino and goes for a suplex but Corino was gold bricking and he cradles Douglas. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas with a kick to the midsection and Douglas hooks Corino. Pittsburg Plunge. 3:30 left in this match. Douglas slides over for the cover. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas with a charming F-Bomb on not getting the pin. Douglas now with a rake to the face. Douglas now with a kneebreaker and Douglas kicks Corino's leg out from underneath him. Douglas now with a spinning toehold and Douglas with a figure-four leglock. Douglas is cranking back on the hold. Corino has to hold on for three more minutes. The blood is dripping down the face of Corino mixed in with the sweat. I don't know how Corino is going to outlast this one. Corino drops to the mat in a dead faint. He is done and Terry Funk with the count. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino still has a little fight left in him. He needs to mount every bit of energy from every inch of his body to fight this for the remaining 2:10. Corino is attempting to reach the ropes. Can he make it. Douglas pounds the kneecaps. Corino is attempting to turn the hold and he does. The hold has been reversed. Douglas releases and Douglas now with a knee to the gut. Douglas with the Belly to Belly Suplex and Douglas falls on top. This has to do it. One, Two, Thr....shoulder up. How? One and a half minutes. Corino's youth and endurance advantages may be coming into play in these late stages. Douglas now hooks Corino and Douglas goes for a suplex but Corino slides behind. Douglas with a reverse rollup and Douglas grabs the tights. One, Two, Corino rolls throught. One, Two, Kickout. Corino goes for a superkick but Douglas ducks. Douglas drops Corino with the Franchiser. Douglas now flops to the canvas. Douglas slides over for the pin. One, Two, Thr...Corino rolls the pin over. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Douglas now grabs Corino and Douglas with a double leg takedown. Douglas now with a bridge. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Corino is up and he ducks a Douglas clothesline. Old School Driver from Corino. One, Two, Thr....kickout. Corino is up and Corino goes up top. Corino leaps off but Douglas side steps it and Corino hurts his leg. Douglas now with the figure-four leglock. Douglas now cranks back on the hold. Corino is down. Corino is not even moving. Terry Funk checks the arm. The arm lifts and it falls. That's one. Terry Funk checks the arm again. The arm lifts and it falls again. That's two. Douglas falls to the mat from exhaustion. The arm lifts and....
