The new year starts with the Brawl Kings coming to ringside to show off C-Mac's awards. C-Mac says that he has won more awards than any other superstar because he is the best in the business and the "REAL" heavyweight wrestling champion. Trevor announces that Ashton and C-Mac are the next world tag team champions and beating Bozzman and that punk London will be a piece a cake. The show also marks the debut of Jimmy Hayden's new commentary partner Tyler Osborn

"The Sexy Slayer" Envy made her SIW return with a bang by defeating Olivia, Chastity and Xtina to become the #1 contender. Envy wins the match with a pin fall over Olivia using the Green Envy
Heavyweight champion Bozzman confronts JD Extreme about what happened on new year's eve. Extreme says he did not want to get involve in DDHK's business it is not his job to save him. Bozzman suggest maybe he did it on purpose to send him a message because he wants his title. JD Extreme says that could be true but he has not made a decision on which champion he will challenge. JD says that he will make the annoucement next week and he could very well go after Bozzman's title. They get into a stare down but Terror Soule pulls JD away and reminds them about their big match tonight. Soule is without the SIW Hardcore championship and Jimmy Hayden informs the fans that the title has become inactive along with the SIW extreme championship on Carnage

Forbidden Xtreme is hungry for gold and it shows on Brawl as they defeat The Dead Pool Mysery and JD Stars in a gruling and classic match for the world tag team championship. After the match, Mysery blames Stars for a lackluster performance but Stars shouts back that it is Mysery's fault. Can the Dead Pool work things out and get their titles back?

Ryan Johnson defeated Enigma and Johnny Ringo to win the SIW North American championship
After a short break, we see the Brawl Kings C-Mac and Ashton Daniels deliver a beatdown to Mike London backstage. Security is able to stop the assault but the damage has been done
SIW Women's champion Heaven Lee and Lucy Fur get a nice pop from the crowd as Heaven defends her title against the former champion Poison who claims she should have got her rematch much sooner. The winner of the match will go on to Assault and will have to defend the title against Envy. Poison controls most of the match and gets a near fall near the end after delivering swinging neck breaker but Heaven kicks out. Poison takes the padding off the turnbuckle and goes to whip Heaven but the champion counters and Poison hits the steel. They take the fight outside of the ring and Poison is disqualified after smashing a monitor across Heaven's head. Poison is even more ruthless when she finds out she lost the match and whips Heaven into the steel steps and stomps her until Envy comes out and surprises everyone by saving the champion
The fans give "The Living Dead" Duane Doogan a mixed reaction as he makes his Monday Night Brawl return accompanied by his "Higher Power" Matt Uzi. The fans start a "you suck" chant and Uzi looses it and tells the crowd to shut up and show respect to the greatest talent on Monday Night Brawl. Uzi says that someone who beats the "Greatest One" two years in a row at Wrestlefest does not suck. Doogan informs the fans that he officially the first participant in this year's Assault Rumble and will become Heavyweight champion in 2008
SIW European champion The Renegade accompanied by Anna B puts the title on the line in a brutal match against another veteran EBW Champion Grunge who is accompanied by Chastity. Renegade and Grunge's match becomes a street fight that is hard to control. Chastity gets on the apron to distract Renegade who is seconds from winning the match after delivering a Slam Jam DDT. They start bickering back and forth and all of a sudden Anna B pulls Chastity down and whips her into the security wall. Renegade turns around and out of nowhere falls victim to the Grunganator and gets pinned as a second title changes hands on the first Brawl of 2008. Aftet the match, heavy security is needed as a brawl breaks out between the two couples
New world tag team champions JD Xtreme and Terror Soule are backstage celebrating their victory over The Dead Pool. Soule wants to know who JD will challenge but JD tells him he will have to wait till next week to find out like everyone else. JD assures Terror Soule that when he becomes the either Heavyweight or SIW champion he will be the first to get a title shot. JD and Soule will be watching the next main event match closely because the winning team will challenge them for their titles next Monday
Heavyweight champion Bozzman and Mike London get a nice pop from the crowd as they attack the Brawl Kings during their entrance and the match starts as they slide them in the ring. Bozzman is beating down C-Mac in one corner and Mike London doing the same to Ashton in the other. Bozz and London whip them into a collision in the middle of the ring. Bozzman applies the half bozzton crab to C-Mac but as Ashton distracts the referee Trevor pulls C-Mac to the ropes. Ashton is tagged in and he has his problems with Bozzman until C-Mac knees the champion as he comes off the ropes. Ashton delivers a brain buster to Bozz and covers but the champ kicks out. Tags are made on both sides and C-Mac and London engage in a fist fight until C-Mac overpowers him and clotheslines him out of the ring. Late in the match, Ashton and Bozzman battle on the outside as C-Mac drops London with the KOD. C-Mac crawls over and covers him to win the huge match. After the match, Bozzman and Ashton keep brawling on the outside while C-Mac holds London as Trevor nails him with a chair shot across the top of his eye. Bozzman launches Ashton with a belly to belly on the entrance ramp but out of nowhere he's knocked out by C-Mac with the heavyweight title. They continue their assault on London who is bleeding profusely as the progam ends
