WAR recap video starts the program. SIW North American champion R.C. Aries has not been seen since being taken away last Wednesday thanks to Ascended Supremacy’s getaway car. Trevor Derickson also suffered a broken nose thanks to Enigma
Ashton Daniels, Chris Macavedi and Heaven Lee come out at the top of the ramp. Ashton says Enigma did something at WAR he will regret for the rest of his life. C-Mac says nobody lays a hand on their boss Trevor without suffering consequences. They start laughing as Ashton admits it was him driving the getaway car at WAR and that R.C. is living in fear. Ashton says the SIW Kings have a backup secret weapon that will be revealed at Assault and the SIW won’t know what hit them. All of a sudden Kevin “Titan” McColl surprises everyone as he announces the board of directors begged him to come back for twice the money since they need an authority figure on MNB. Titan says he’s back to clean up the SIW in 2009 and he’s not taking shit from anybody, including Ascended Supremacy
Dark Tiger, Ragin’ Craig, Mohamed & Maurice Bad battle in a 4 way match. Bad blood continues between Bad and Mohamed. Craig levels Bad with a clothesline from hell and they fall to the outside over the top rope. Tiger levels Mohamed with the Etched in Stone and pins him to pick up the win. After the match, Craig clips Tiger’s knee and Doomina launches Rose out of the ring by her hair. Craig assaults Tiger while Jaffar chokes Bad with his scarf. Titan sends out security to break up the fights. Titan announces that Mo and Bad will battle in a loser leaves SIW match at Assault. Craig and Tiger will also fight at Assault in a blind fold match.

Jessica White interviews Heavyweight champion JD Xtreme who claims that Ascended Supremacy kidnapped not only R.C. but Bailey as well. JD says he will take on Tara and Jace in a handicap match if he has too. Tara slaps his face and Jace spears the champion to the ground. Fortunately officials breaks up the chaos. Can JD overcome the odds in tonight’s main event?
Liana Lewis takes on Vixen Foxx with Kevin Frost for the SIW Women’s championship. Vixen shocks everyone as she comes out with the SIW Lightweight championship. Vixen and Liana have been trying to pave the way for divas compete against the men and for the SIW Championship. Liana and Vixen deliver a great back and forth match that unfortunately ends in a double DQ thanks to Ashton Daniels taking them out with steel chairs. Frost is also taken out with a chair shot. Ashton says Trevor is at home watching with a smile on his face. Ashton says the divas have a lot to prove before they get an SIW title shot. General Manager Titan disagrees and since Bailey is missing, he changes the diva match at Assault to a #1 contenders match. It will be a diva ladder match and the winner will get an SIW title shot
The Living Dead comes out and gets a mixed reaction from the Syracuse fans. The Living Dead says the SIW has changed for the worse over the past year. He says unless you do Trevor up the ass you won’t get anywhere. He goes over his championship wins in 2008 and says it’s unacceptable that he did not even get nominated for superstar of the year. Titan tells TLD that if he thinks he’s such a hot shot, then why not try winning the Assault Rumble this year just like he did last year. The Living Dead takes his challenge but promises darkness over the SIW if politics get involved in his career
Ashton Daniels manages to pick up a huge win over former SIW champion Bozzman after delivering the Full Throttle. Daniels applies the Miami Vice to Bozzman after the match but is forced to flee through the crowd like a coward when he see’s Liana and other divas come to ringside. Out of nowhere a fan clotheslines Ashton to the ground and it’s none other than Enigma that kicks the living hell out of him. Enigma continues his beat down until officials break it up

The Living Dead pinned Bozzman in a non title match
#1 contender Marquis Laveaux draws major heat as he announces that since R.C. refuses to show up, he wins the match by forfeit. Titan comes out clapping and admits he pulled a good one at WAR. Titan also informs him that next week should be fun. It will be Marquis against him good friend Jace in a one on one match with JD as the guest referee. Titan leaves with a smirk on his face and tells him “good luck”
Jack Kent interviews Ragin’ Craig and Doomina. Craig says at Assault he will get rid of Dark Tiger once and for all and then move on to win the Assault Rumble. Craig says this is his year where he wins the SIW championship at Wrestlefest. Doomina surprises everyone as she tells Craig she has been included in the diva ladder match at Assault. Craig has a weird look on his face but tells her that is “great news”
Trevor is booed as he appears on the Trevortron with a big bandage on his face. Trevor says he is already sick and tired of Enigma and announces C-mac will take him out at Asssault. Trevor also makes himself guest referee
Heavyweight champion JD Xtreme takes on Tara Michaels and Jace Parker Davidson in the main event. JD controls the match and has their number until Glenn Kirby shows footage on the Trevortron of Bailey and R.C. locked in an unknown location. JD seems worried and out of nowhere Tara delivers a hurricanrana. Jace puts him away with the twisted reality to pick up the win. After the match, Tara holds JD from behind as Marquis swings a chair but JD moves and he nails Tara with a shot to her skull as the show ends
