General Manager Kevin “Titan” McColl announces that the SIW Kings have given themselves the night off to “take care of business” but the truth is their probably gone to a gay club. Titan is surprised to see that The Living Dead is in the building, the only King on the show tonight. Gavin Payne tells TLD that his huge victory over Kirby doesn’t impress him and he can’t wait to kick his ass tonight. Payne and TLD exchange a few punches before they both get attacked by Jace and Marquis from Ascended Supremacy
Ragin’ Craig and Dark Tiger battle in the opening match which is a no dq, no count out. Tiger makes Craig bleed with a chair shot to his forehead. Tiger slides him back in the ring and covers but only gets a near fall. Doomina may have been the deciding factor in this one by hitting Tiger with a low blow from behind making him lose all momentum. Rose hits Doomina with a spear but the damage has been done as Craig pins Tiger after delivering the Rage Factor. After the match, Craig and Doomina escape backstage as Tiger and Rose go after them
Titan instructs security to guard all the exits of the arena because their might be an intruder in the building. Who is this intruder?
Backstage in the Ascended Supremacy locker room, Tara Michaels is posing with the SIW championship in front of a mirror. Marquis Laveaux rolls his eyes and snatches the title away from her. Can Tara defeat her teammate at Meltdown to become the first female SIW Champion?

Next match is a 4 way with the winner becoming the #1 contender for the SIW North American championship. SIW champion Marquis Laveaux is at ringside and a fight breaks out between JD and Laveaux after a few heated words are spoken. The Living Dead and Gavin Payne battle back and forth before getting knocked down by a double clothesline from Jace Parker Davidson. JD spears Jace out of the ring causing him to land on Laveaux. The Living Dead drops JD with the DeathDT and goes for a cover but out of nowhere Gavin Payne delivers the Knock Out. Jace rolls up Gavin from behind but he counters and steals the win. After the match, The Living Dead and Gavin Payne exchange lefts and rights and all of a sudden we see Vex appear from the crowd and sends Marquis head first into the steel steps. Vex continues his rampage by dropping Jace with a vicious neck breaker. Vex says he took out out Ascended Supremacy, next will be the SIW Kings. Vex joins Gavin Payne as they deliver a beat down to The Living Dead until officials come out and break up the chaos

We get an update on Michelle’s condition and things are not looking good. Physician Dr. Nooman predicts she will never be able to wrestle ever again
Wrestlefest 2009 will be held live from the most famous arena in the world Madison Square Garden in New York City. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include all the top SIW superstars.
Liana Lewis and SIW Lightweight Vixen Fox put their bodies on the line just to earn a chance to challenge Tara for her #1 contendership match at Meltdown. Tara is the guest referee as Liana and Vixen battle back and forth to star the match. Liana surprises Vixen with a Tilt-a-Whirl Swinging DDT and covers but only gets a two count. Liana whips Vixen to the ropes and misses a clothesline. Vixen nails her with a kick to the midsection and drops her with a DDT. Vixen covers but Tara counts extremely slow. Kevin Frost jumps on the apron and tells Tara to officiate the match fairly. Vixen and Tara start arguing and Tara slaps the champion across her face. Vixen slaps her back but she’s attacked by Liana from behind who puts her away with Liana’s Flow to win the match
SIW Champion Marquis Laveaux says after tonight he has a new victim in sight and his name is Vex. Marquis tells Jessica White and the fans that Ascended Supremacy will not tolerate what Vex did to their friend Jace Parker Davidson. Laveaux says Jace will be back for Meltdown but Vex might not make it. About his champion vs champion match tonight, Marquis says him and R.C. have unfinished business to settle
The Living Dead pushes Jack Kent out of the way and demands Titan to make a match Vex & Gavin Payne against himself and a partner of his choice next week on MNB. Titan agrees but says he owes him a favor

Tara and Liana are partying backstage and claim they will put on the greatest match of 2009 next week. Their celebration is interrupted as Vixen Foxx tells them that Titan has made her the guest referee for their match
SIW Champion Marquis Laveaux with Tara Michaels as his valet and SIW North American champion R.C. Aries battle in a submission challenge. Laveaux weakens his opponent early in the match with a sharpshooter but R.C. manages to reach the ropes. R.C. works on Laveaux's lower back and applies the Philippine Crab. Laveaux struggles until Tara helps him reach the ropes. The referee warns Tara he will DQ Laveaux if she gets involved again. The match continues and the referee is knocked down as Marquis falls on him after receiving the Aries Rush. Tara slides in with a steel chair and swings at R.C. but he moves and she strikes Laveaux by mistake. R.C. applies the RCF and wins the match by making the SIW champion tap out as the show ends
