The program starts with Ascended Supremacy members Liana Lewis and SIW champion Marquis Laveaux being called out by Titan for their Meltdown contract signing. After signing the contract, Liana insults Xtina and says she should have stayed in hibernation up in Canada. All of a sudden, Marquis is speared by Vex who appears from under the table. Vex throws Liana out of the ring and delivers the Flat Line to the SIW champion in the middle of the ring
Trevor Derickson and the SIW Kings are laughing at the fact that Liana Lewis actually thinks she has a chance to become SIW champion at Meltdown. Trevor tells C-Mac he has a huge opportunity tonight to become the North American champion and tells Ashton to make sure he has his back. C-Mac stands away from The Living Dead. Trevor then looks at The Living Dead and tells C-Mac that he is not a zombie. Ashton claims he saw The Living Dead eat a BigMac the other day…..zombies eat people right?
Dark Tiger attacks sWerve as he makes his entrance and is set on getting even with the newcomer on MNB for his actions last week. After delivering a DDT, sWerve grabs Rose Bonaparte by her hair and goes to slap her but Tiger attacks him from behind and whips him into the steel post. sWerve slides back in the ring hoping to get a count out win but Tiger crawls back in. Tiger avoids a corner clothesline and drops sWerve with a pump handle slam. Tiger covers but only gets a two count. As the match continues back and forth Ragin’ Craig and Doomina slowly make their way to ringside. Dark Tiger catches sWerve in mid air as he jumps off the top rope and launches him to the outside on top of Craig and Doomina. The fans start a “Tiger” chant as he laughs at Craig and sWerve lying on the ground. Moments later Craig nails him with a hard right and sWerve clips Tigers knee from behind. sWerve rolls him up using the ropes for leverage and pins him to steal the win
Vex cuts a promo with Jack Kent and says the SIW Champion Marquis Laveaux is the biggest wimp in the SIW. Vex says he will send a message to The Living Dead by annihilating Laveaux in tonight’s main event. Kent asks what Vex thinks about the rumors that the winner of his match at Meltdown between himself and TLD could be next in line for a SIW Championship title shot. Vex says he doesn’t care because if he wanted the SIW title he would just take it. Two of SIW biggest entities Vex and The Living Dead will collide in a No DQ, No Count Out match this Sunday
General Manager Titan is excited as he introduces the divas for the next tag team match between the veterans (Xtina and Liana) and the new generation (Tara & Vixen). The winners of the match will get a world tag team title shot next week on Monday Night Brawl. Tara starts the match by hitting Xtina with a vicious clothesline and then locks her in a half crab. Liana strikes her with a side kick to her head to break the hold. Vixen gets in the ring and exchanges a few punches with Liana until the referee gets them back in their corner. Tara charges Xtina in the corner but the future hall of fame diva moves and delivers a bulldog. Xtina climbs to the top rope and executes a flying elbow drop and coves Tara but Vixen breaks the count. The match continues back and forth between Xtina and Tara until Vixen is tagged in and levels Xtina with an enziguri. Vixen covers but only gets a two count. As Xtina is coming off the ropes Liana tags herself in and hits Vixen with a flying body press. Liana delivers a leg drop off the top rope and connects. Liana covers but Tara pulls her out of the ring to make the save. The veteran divas take control of the match and are seconds from ending this one until Liana hits Xtina with her elbow by mistake as she punches Tara. Xtina falls back into Vixen’s reverse neck breaker and pins her to take the win for the new generation divas. After the match, Xtina and Liana blame each other for the loss as they go their separate ways. Can Vixen pick up a win over the future hall of fame diva this Sunday to retain the SIW Lightweight championship?

Dark Tiger tells Titan that he wants both Craig and sWerve this Sunday at Meltdown in whatever match he can come up with. Titan tells Tiger he has an idea. This Sunday it will be Dark Tiger against sWerve and Craig in a triple threat ambulance match. Their will be two ambulances, in order to win you must stuff both opponents in an ambulance. Titan also adds the winner will become the #1 contender for the SIW North American championship
Wrestlefest 2009 will be held live from the most famous arena in the world Madison Square Garden in New York City. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include all the top SIW superstars.
Vex watches the following match on a monitor backstage. The Living Dead and Gavin Payne show shades of old school SIW as they battle in the next match. The Living Dead single handedly shattered Gavin Payne chances at competing for the NA title at Meltdown as he pins him after a hard fought match. Payne avoids a clothesline but receives a kick to the midsection and TLD pinned him using the DeathDT
After a short break Jessica White interviews Xtina who is not so upset that she lost the match but is really upset it had to be Vixen that got the win. Xtina says she’s not one to make excuses but if she had a better tag team partner than Liana Lewis then the outcome of the match would have been different. Xtina says she will be patient till this Sunday where she will get even with Vixen and win the SIW Lightweight championship in her sister’s honor
Chris Macavedi is accompanied by Heaven Lee and Ashton Daniels as he takes on the SIW North American champion R.C. Aries who is carrying Revolution on his back for the next 5-6 weeks. C-Mac rakes the eyes and takes control of the match until he runs into R.C. boot in the corner. R.C. applies the Philippine Crab in the middle of the ring making C-Mac scream in pain. Ashton gets on the apron only to get knocked down by a drop kick from R.C. C-Mac rolls up the champion from behind but only gets a two count. C-Mac whips R.C. in the corner and misses an elbow. R.C. clobbers him with the Aries Rush and then locks in the Phoenix Wing. As Heaven distracts the referee, Ashton pulls C-Mac to he ropes and R.C. has no choice but to break the hold. R.C. chases Ashton around the ring until he’s hit with a clothesline from C-Mac. The challenger slides him back in the ring and covers only to get a two count. A frustrated C-Mac executes the Italian leg sweep and covers again but he can’t seem to put the champion away. C-Mac is launched wit ha back body drop and R.C. applies the RCF in the middle of the ring. As Heaven Lee gets on the apron, Ashton strikes R.C. with a steel chair shot to the back of his head. C-Mac puts his arm over the fallen R.C. and steals the win to become the new SIW North American champion.
After a break, Titan comes out to ring and says he has a little situation. Since C-Mac is the new champion, R.C. has a rematch clause, TLD is the #1 contender but he has a match against Vex at Meltdown. Titan announces that as of now the title will be vacated considering the way it was won tonight and it will be on the line this Sunday in a fatal four way elimination match between C-Mac, R.C,. The Living Dead & Vex. The special guest referee will be none other than Gavin Payne

C-Mac tells Trevor he should override Titan’s decision and order him to hand him back the NA title. Trevor tells C-Mac he has faith that himself or The Living Dead will bring back the title to the SIW Kings this Sunday. However he has a better idea, next week Titan will be punished for screwing with the most powerful family in wrestling history
SIW Champion Marquis Laveaux and Vex battle in the main event non title match. Vex gets an early near fall after dropping the champion with a running power slam. Laveaux hits Vex with a spinning heel kick and covers but he can’t put away his opponent. Vex delivers a powerbomb and then rips off the turnbuckle pad. Vex whips Marquis into the turnbuckle and busts him wide open. Liana comes running out but she gets nailed wit ha big boot. Vex slams Laveaux’s bloody head in the turnbuckle and the referee tries to stop him. Vex is disqualified as he pushes the referee down on the canvas. Vex fights Liana and Tara from Ascended Supremacy and out of nowhere Jace appears from under the ring and hits Vex with a steel chair shot as the show ends
