Monday Night Brawl General Manager - Titan
Live from Phoenix, Arizona, Monday Night Brawl was live from the America West Arena. General Manager Kevin “Titan” McColl started the show and announced that not only will he be inducted in the hall of fame on March 27, but he will take on Polar in a Legend Match one night before Wrestlefest. He then introduced Rikki Cook as the guest commentator for the night and then booked Angel in a handicap match against Kieran Dunbow and Jax. Also next week, Titan ordered a paternity test for Glenn Kirby, Prophet, and Mysery to find out who exactly is the father of H-Bomb’s baby. He also said that he isn’t responsible if anything happens to H-Bomb’s baby on Monday Night Brawl at anytime.
The semi-finals of the diva tournament got underway. Rikki commented that Regina looked hideous with a bald head. Liana Lewis and Regina Todd battled in a classic confrontation to determine who will face H-Bomb and become the #1 contender for the SIW Women’s Championship. Liana Lewis shut her critics up when she defeated Regina with Liana’s Flow and pinned her for the win to advance to the tournament finals. Will H-Bomb compete next week although she’s pregnant?
Titan knocked on Angelica’s dressing room door and told her that Shelby Kirby and the whole Carnage crew were too dumb to book good matches and that next week he was more than happy to book her match that she requested between her and Christina against Michelle and Olivia
A Wrestlefest commercial aired before the next match, Natural Born Killers took on O.C and Rated X for the SIW Tag Team championship. Airington and London worked well as a team but Rated X came inches away from regaining the titles for a third time. After a Primetime Plunge, Ryan went to pin Prophet but Mysery jumped in and pulled him off. James Airington went for the Airington Star Press but Mysery pushed off to the outside. As Prophet and Mysery beat the hell out of the Lightweight champion, “Powerhouse” Tim Smith rushed out and leveled both O.C members. London won the match after the same masked person that cost Rated X the titles last week interfered again. London pinned Johnson after the masked person nailed him in the head with the same sledge hammer he used the week before.
After his match, SIW Extreme/Tag Champion Mike London walked to his car to get a bottle of Johnny Walker but was suddenly attacked from behind. Ian Bishop slammed his head several times in the car door and then broke the bottle of Johnny Walker over his head. Bishop said that Wrestlefest came early for London and grabbed the SIW Extreme Championship and then escaped in a getaway car with London’s championship that Bishop claimed rightfully belonged to him.
After a commercial break, the SIW North American Championship was on the line in rematch between The Uncanny Inferno and the former three time North American champ Drako. Inferno was coming off two big wins in a row, one against Drako where he regained the title and last week on Carnage with a steel cage match win against Mike London. Drako was right on his game and almost got the win after delivering the Last In Line but Inferno managed to put his leg on the bottom rope to break the pin fall. The match ended when Drako got frustrated and went for Hayden’s chair. The referee disqualified both of them after they used foreign objects. Rikki passed a comment, that they both sucked and that he could take both of them at the same time.
Drako busted down Titan’s door and said he was sick of getting screwed of the SIW North American title. He complained about being held back by officials and stupid rules. Titan told him that he had a solution, at Wrestlefest, it will be Drako and The Uncanny Inferno for the SIW North American Championship in a No Count Out, No Disqualification Match. He told Drako not to blow his chance.
In the parking lot, Bernardo and Clover were waiting by a long stretch limo. Primetime and Ramrock weren’t in the best of moods and beat up a few staff members on their way to the limo. Rated X decided to leave the arena earlier than expected.
After a preview for SIWA Wednesday War, Angel took on Kieran Dunbow and Jax in a handicap match as ordered by Titan. Angel ended the match with ease after he sent Jax flying to the outside with the Atonement Spear and then made Kieran tap out to the Judgment Sharpshooter. At the end of the match, Rikki Cook was pissed at commentary and jumped in the ring and leveled Angel with a steel pipe busting him wide open. Rikki then locked in the former SIW World champion in his own version of the Judgment but Angel countered it into his favor and didn’t let go until security rushed to ringside to break it up. These two fine competitors will face off at Wrestlefest in a #1 contenders match for the SIW World Championship.
James Airington was interviewed by Greg Banks as he spoke about his win, his winning streak and his partner’s misfortune at the hands of Ian Bishop earlier on. Before he could continue, O.C members Mysery and The Prophet double closelined him and beat him till he bleed. Mysery delivered a DDT on the concrete ground and left the Lightweight Champion motionless. Mysery said that was just a preview of Wrestlefest.
Before his match, the SIW World/Euro Champion Glenn Kirby was on the phone with his parents. The match with Mohamed could make or break him and he told them if he’d lost, that could possibly leave him out of Wrestlefest. Titan then overheard him talking shit about Brawl and how Carnage was a much more superior wrestling show. Titan then crushed his cell phone and decided to punish him. He decided to make the match a best two out of three falls with Mohamed starting with a decision in his favor.
Mohamed Abdul Sheik came to the ring accompanied by Rashad and Jaffar for the main event. The odds were stacked against the A.O.A. Glenn Kirby was down 1-0 before the best 2 out of 3 match even started. Late in the match, senior referee Sam Carter expelled Jaffar and Rashad after many attempts at interfering in the match. Mohamed was left alone with the SIW World champion. Kirby got his first decision after delivering a diving head butt off the top rope and got a pin fall. Mohamed locked the A.O.A in a Camel Clutch and came within inches to making Kirby tap. The SIW World champion barely reached the ropes to break the hold but he was left in critical condition. Kirby hooked up an inside cradle, at the two count, Sheik countered, and then Kirby countered the cradle back in his favor to win the match. As Glenn celebrated his victory in the ring, Rated X surprised everyone when they appeared from the crowd and double teamed Glenn Kirby. The show ended when Ramrock and Primetime launched the A.O.A over the top rope sending him crashing into the Spanish table breaking it in half.
