Just one week before Wrestlefest, Monday Night Brawl was live in Miami, Florida. Hometown star Katie Mysfit received a standing ovation before the program got under way with general manger Greg Banks coming to the ring. Banks told the booing crowd to shut up and listen. Banks claims that he made Xtina a superstar and he’ll die and go to hell before he lets that jezebel Liana Lewis ruin his work. Banks then announced that at Wrestlefest, he will be in Xtina’s corner since the event will be in Atlanta and Liana will probably get her family to cheat to beat Xtina. Liana Lewis then came out on the entrance ramp accompanied by her nephew Austin, Glenn Kirby and Erin. Liana gave high fives to her fan section before going off on Banks with insults. Banks retaliated by punishing her just like Glenn Kirby. Next week on Brawl, Liana Lewis will have to go one on one with the SIW World Tag Team Champions in a handicap match just one night after Wrestlefest.
The first match was a ladder match between A.B.A and Tony “The Bull” Viction for the SIW Hardcore Championship. Both competitors will be involved in the money in the bank ladder match at Wrestlefest. Viction pulled out a ladder and smashed it in A.B.A face. Viction then placed the ladder on the entrance ramp and suplexed the champion on it hurting himself in the process. Viction went for a cover but A.B.A managed to find the strength to kick out. A.B.A countered a powerslam into a back body drop and then whipped Viction into the FX network sign which smashed into pieces. A.B.A climbed up the ladder on the entrance ramp and Viction soon followed him up on the other side. After exchanging lefts and rights A.B.A delivered the Bad Ass Bomb off the ladder. Feeling alot of pain, A.B.A managed to place the ladder in the ring and crawled up to get the title and win the match.
During SIW Unlimited, Glenn Kirby and Erin watched the last match and called them both idiots. Kirby smiled when Erin mentioned the fact that they won’t be a hundred percent at Wrestlefest.
A video package was aired hyping the upcoming five way dance between Hannah. Lolita, Shane, Regina & Venus to determine the #1 contender for the SIW Women’s Championship.
Austin Lewis made his in ring debut against the SIW Women’s champion Xtina. Austin looked decent in his first match and kept up with the champ but Xtina capitalized on the few mistakes he made. Austin came off the ropes with a clothesline but Xtina ducked and then executed an inverted DDT before going for the cover. Liana Lewis came to ringside and jumped on the apron to distract the ref. Austin grabbed a steel chair from the outside and swung at Xtina but the champ moved and we saw a huge collision between Austin, the chair and Liana. Xtina nailed Austin with the Goodie Kick and pinned him to win the match. As Xtina celebrated, Liana attacked her from behind and choked her with a metal wire. Xtina was turning blue as road agent and security managed to pull Liana off her. Specialists came out to examine Xtina’s throat and fortunately no internal damage was done.
Carnage Playback - For those that missed last week's Carnage on TNT.
After a commercial break, The SIW World Tag Team Champions Natedawg & Harkie were complaining to Banks about fighting Lewis next week. Out of nowhere, Mike London and Zach Blain leveled them with steel pipes. Natedawg was getting kicked in the ribs by Blain who he put through a glass table a few weeks ago while London beat Harkie in the head until he drew blood. Killa Red then jumped London while Natedawg got back up to fight Blain. Security separated everyone but Harkie was taken out in an ambulance for head injuries.
The next match was the five way dance between Hannah, Regina, Shane, Venus and Lolita who is featured in next months HMH to determine the #1 contender for the SIW Women’s Championship. Venus and Hannah were still at each other throats while Shane and Lolita double teamed Regina. Late in th match Shane and Lolita double clotheslined Regina out of the ring but from behind Venus and Hannah surprisingly worked together to take out Shane and Lolita. Hannah nailed Lolita with the Starr Dogg but as she went for a cover Regina pulled her out of the ring. As Hannah and Regina battled on the outside, Shane and Lolita hit Venus with a double inverted russian leg sweep. Lolita then turned on Shane and nailed her with an Lucha DDT. She went for a cover but Regina broke the count. All five divas were back in the ring but it was Shane that pulled out with a victory after making Regina tap out to the Freedom Of Choice.
During SIW unlimited, Shane and Soren were celebrating her win backstage. Shane said she will be paying close attention to Xtina and Liana’s match at Wrestlefest and is looking forward to carrying to women’s division in 2006. Soren reminded NuTz that his title that he stole will be coming back home to Brawl when he outlasts him in the 60 minute iron man match. NuTz and Soren’s feud started at the Assault Rumble when they both lasted over an hour. Soren then lost the SIW European title to NuTz on Breakdown’s One Night only. The Brawl championship has been on Carnage ever since. Will Soren be able to bring the title back to Brawl with a win at Wrestlefest?
The next segment was Drako’s office with special guest General Manager Greg Banks. Drako asked his boss what he thought of Grunge’s actions recently. Banks said that he supported Drako’s war on corruption and that he should eliminate Grunge once and for all at Wrestlefest. Banks talked about Nash leaving and the upcoming draft but refused to reveal his strategy. Banks said that Nash was washed up and let him go. Grunge then came out carrying a sledgehammer which he used to break Drako’s desk in half. Banks and Chastity exited the ring but Drako nailed Grunge in the head with a drawer from the desk. Drako pounded him in the corner until officials broke it up. These men will get a chance to settle their differences this Sunday on pay per view.
After a short break, Natedawg was shown on the Trevortron trashing his locker room while Killa Red was on the phone with the hospital. Chief of Security Polar then walked in and told Natedawg he needed to find a partner to replace Harkie for the match as per Banks’s orders. He then added his partner can’t be Killa Red, it has to be someone experienced.
Jack Kent was in the parking lot waiting as the SIW champion arrived accompanied by Alora Wright. Kent asked what he did to Armani Stylez and C-Mac said he didn’t do anything. He then pointed at two guys wearing masks stepping out of another limo, the same two masked men that put Stylez in the back of the car. The guys revealed themselves as none other than Randall and Aprali. Alora was shocked that Randall got involved. Vince promised that Stylez was still alive and they just gave him an old fashion beating. Alora told them all to grow up before walking away inside the arena.
The Authority of Atlanta Glenn Kirby made his entrance to a mixed reaction and even cut a short rap dissing the city of Miami and the SIW World Tag Team champions. Natedawg came out accompanied by Killa Red. As Kirby started the match with a cheap shot, Maurice Bad who recently became a new father made his return to team up with his former partner. Kirby missed the Thug Bug and Nate countered with the S.O.S. Natedawg tagged in Bad who looked great being back in action. As Bad applied the Bad Lock to Kirby, Erin distracted the referee by revealing some skin which gave Kirby more time to get out of the hold. Maurice tagged Nate back in the ring and as soon as the ref turned around he sees Kirby using a chair to level the world tag team champ Nate. The referee called the match a disqualification in the champs favor. After the match, London and Blain rushed out and helped Kirby beat down the champs and Killa Red. All of a sudden, A.P.B from Carnage rushed out and actually helped their Wrestlefest opponents. Nate, Bad, Klubber, Red and Walker cleaned house. After the match, Natedawg handed Maurice Bad his title and they shook hands with A.P.B. Their match at Wrestlefest should be a classic with this display of respect we witnessed on Brawl.
Wrestlefest 2006 will be held live from the Georgia Dome on March 19, 2006. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include the superstars of Brawl and Carnage as well as the traditional hall of fame induction which will include former SIW Champion Conviction, long time voice of Brawl Jimmy Hayden and former SIW North American and European Champion Jason Snow. Former SIW Champion Conviction was in attendance and Jack Kent got a few words from him. Future Hall Of Famer Conviction said it was nice to see old faces backstage and called Jason Snow a disgrace for what he did to A.P.B. Conviction says that Jason Snow used to have millions of fans who are responsible for his induction and he basically spat in their face. Conviction is anxious to seeing Uzi at the Hall Of fame. In 1998, Conviction handed Matt Uzi the SIW Championship for his second title reign due to suffering from a bad virus.
Katie Mysfit and Jimmy Hayden announced that they were informed that Harkie will be out indefinitely and that Maurice Bad will replace him as Natedawg’s partner, as World Tag Team Champion and at Wrestefest.
The main event featured Alora Wright and SIW Champion C-Mac taking on Ragin’ Craig and Jill. The match was to be Ragin’s and Jill’s last match in the SIW. Craig and C-Mac battled at the beginning of the match until Jill and Alora were tagged in. Alora was bodyslammed but she moved out of the way of a elbow drop. Alora nailed Jill with the “Wright where I want it” tornado ddt and then tagged in C-Mac. Thechamp went for a cover on Jill but Craig broke the count. The match ended when C-Mac delivered the Kiss Of Death Dominator to Craig but Jill nailed him from behind with a low blow. C-Mac managed to tag in Alora and she hit Jill with the Bourbon Street Blues and then pinned Craig to win the match. As Alora and C-Mac celebrated the match with Randall and Vince, Nash appeared in the Trevortron and told C-Mac his goons tried to rape Stylez in the ass and questioned the type of people C-Mac associates with. Nash then played a sex video on the Trevortron featuring Stylez and some woman in bed that looked a lot like Alora. Nash insisted that it was Stylez and Alora and that she’s going home with the new SIW Champion at Wrestlefest and there was nothing C-Mac could do about it. C-Mac and Vince ran to the back to find Nash but as they arrived in the parking lot, he managed to escape in Titan’s bus that was waiting for him. They smashed the windows of the Titan Express by throwing rocks at the bus as it peeled out. Armani Styles popped his head out of the window with a rock just missing him and gave C-Mac the middle finger as the program ended.
