Monday Night Brawl General Manager - Titan
Live from Calgary, Alberta, the Road to Wrestlefest continued in Canada as Kevin “Titan” McColl presented another edition of Monday Night Brawl. The show started with Ian Bishop knocking on Titan’s office door. Titan yelled he was busy but Ian ignored him and stormed right in demanding to change the stipulation to his match at Wrestlefest. Ian first said a steel cage match but Titan wasn't impressed and told him to go. Ian then demanded a Mall Brawl© Match. Titan actually loved the idea and granted him the match on the spot. Ian also told his boss and the fans that he had a surprise for Mike London. Titan then got on the phone with who he calls his new corporate assistant
Angelica and Christina teamed up in the first match of the night as they took on Michelle and Olivia Danger. Christina distracted the referee late in the match and Angelica nailed Olivia her own sister off the apron with a set of brass knuckles. Angelica tagged in Christina who pinned Michelle after delivering the Goodie Kick. At the end of the match, Christina and Angelica pulled out two cans of exterior alkyd (Oil Base) paint and poured it all over their opponents.
Greg Banks tried to get a few words from the former SIW Tag Team Champions, Ryan Johnson and David Ramrock who were arriving in the parking lot. Primetime was really not in a good mood and promised the SIW Champion Glenn Kirby that someone was being taking out on a stretcher on Brawl and it won’t be a Rated X member. Banks then asked Ramrock about the masked intruder that’s been spoiling their matches and Ramrock responded that Rated X are going to the ring on Brawl and calling him out again.
A Wrestlefest commercial aired before the next match, Liana Lewis was set to take on a mystery opponent because H-Bomb decided not to wrestle due to her pregnancy. H-Bomb accompanied by Regina Todd came out wearing maternity clothes and then introduced her replacement that turned out to be former playboy playmate, and former SIW Women’s Champion, Katie Mysfit. Katie didn’t show any ring rust at all and dominated the beginning of the match. Liana’s hopes to make it to Wrestlefest 2005 to fight for the Women’s Championship seemed very dim especially with H-Bomb and Regina at ringside. Liana however overcame all odds and defeated Katie when she countered the Punk Rock Smash into Liana’s Flow to get the pin fall.
Rated X made their way to the ring and once again called out their stalker. This time they had steel chairs and were ready for him, Glenn Kirby or whoever dared stick their nose in their business. The lights went out for five seconds or so and then came back on. All Primetime and Ramrock saw were an authentic Authority Of Atlanta© t-shirt laying in the middle of the ring. Does Glenn Kirby have something to do with the recent attacks? Or is it someone else playing a sick joke?
After a commercial break, the SIW Lightweight/Tag Team Champion James Airington took on another young star, “The Incredible” Ian Bishop in a non-title match. Although it was non-title, Airington’s undefeated streak was on the line in this brutal Table Match just six days before Wrestlefest. Bishop’s opponent at Wrestlefest Mike London arrived late at the arena and came out halfway through the match and took on commentary with Hayden and Dunns. James avoided a closeline and nailed Bishop with a spine buster. London then set up a table but before NBK could do anything, from the crowd was Renegade’s former bodyguard the 7’4” monster Knux. He bashed both NBK head’s together and then double chokeslammed James and Mike through in the middle of the ring. They continued their attack when Knux sent Mike London through the Spanish table with a powerbomb but Airington saved himself. He nailed Bishop with a low blow and suplexed him through a nearby table and then left through the crowd when he saw Knux coming after him and the O.C coming the other way. This Sunday, Bishop and London will fight for the SIW Extreme Championship in a Mall Brawl©
Mohamed Abdul Sheik was doing some religious rituals in his locker room. He was joined by his servant Jaffar and his cousin Rashad. As they prayed, the FBI busted down the door and arrested the terrorists. They found counterfeit money, fake passports and other illegal items. They could be facing serious jail time and/or deportation. Greg Banks was on the scene and said that he’ll try and keep everyone up to date. Mohamed Abdul Sheik is the first and only Iraqi competitor to win the SIW Hardcore Championship and to headline Monday Night Brawl, but he is perhaps the most dangerous and lethal man in the world
Last weekend, Titan got Kirby, Mysery and Prophet to get their DNA checked to see if one of them is the father of H-Bomb’s baby. After reading the reports, Jenny Kox announced that all three test came out negative. H-Bomb joined Titan in the ring and joked around and said it was his. Titan freaked out but realized he unfortunately never slept with H-Bomb. On a serious note, she announced that her baby will have Bishop as a last name and that everyone better mind their own business.
After a preview for SIWA Wednesday War’s Main Event between James Muret and Zach Blain for the SIWA Heavyweight Championship, the next match got underway. Angel teamed up with a former ally and foe, The Uncanny Inferno. They took on Drako and “Red Hot” Rikki Cook. The match was back and forth until Inferno and Angel gained the advantage after clearing the ring with double closelines and double drop kicks. The match ended when Inferno delivered the Meteor Drop to Drako and Angel nailed Cook with the Atonement Spear and pinned him for the win.
Former SIW World Champion Angel and the SIW North American Champion The Uncanny Inferno celebrated in the ring until O.C. came out on the entrance ramp and challenged the winning team to a match next week on Monday Night Brawl. Angel and Inferno accepted the challenge and agreed to team up one more time to kick their ass. Titan then cut both teams off and said that they were right about one thing, they were fighting each other next Monday, but it will be in a tournament to determine the #1 contenders for the SIW Tag Team Championship. The rest of the tag teams will be announced next week.
“Powerhouse” Tim Smith was walking around backstage dressed as a cowboy asking people which way is the Calgary Stampede. Envy told him it was in July and to get a life. He then he ran into a raging Drako. Smith asked him if he ever rode a bull and Drako responded with a punch to his mouth. Drako was pissed after his loss and took it out on Tim Smith. Drako then picked on some kids but that’s when The Uncanny Inferno came to the rescue and leveled him with a DDT. Inferno signed the kid's MNB magazine and gave them each an Inferno mask
In the main event, Glenn Kirby took on “Primetime” Ryan Johnson in a non-title match. Senior referee Sam Carter had to eject Ramrock and Clover from the match but that didn’t stop Bernardo from coming to ringside and apologize to Primetime for screwing up recently. Bernardo tripped Kirby who was coming off the ropes and Johnson then nailed the A.O.A with a Running Face Buster. Primetime went for the pin but the SIW Champion kicked out. The show ended when the TrevorTron showed footage of Ramrock and Clover tied up backstage and then out of nowhere, the masked person grabbed Bernardo by his throat which made him piss his pants. Primetime flipped out and went to smash the masked person with a steel chair but the referee grabbed it and out of nowhere, Kirby nailed Primetime with the Thug Bug and pinned him to win the match.
