Monday Night Brawl General Manager - Titan
The SIW presented another edition of Monday Night Brawl live at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. The show started with Kevin “Titan” McColl yelling on the phone to the CEO Trevor Derickson. He told him to fire Shelby Kirby or he could take his job and shove it up his ass. He threatened to leave his position as MNB General Manager and music coordinator. Titan gave Trevor till the end of the show to give him an answer so Titan can announce Shelby’s firing or his resignation. Titan then got on the phone with Natural Born Killers, James Airington and Mike London. Due to Airington’s suspension and London’s injuries, they have been both been taken out of the tag tournament. The winners of the tag team tournament match later in the night would automatically move on to Full Force to fight the O.C. members, Mysery and Prophet for the SIW Tag Team Championship
Christina and the SIW Women’s Champion Liana Lewis took on Olivia Danger and her twin sister Angelica Hunt in the finals of the tag team tournament. For the first time in SIW history, the winning diva tag team will compete for the SIW Tag Team Championship. Regina conveniently made her way to the ring late in the match. Liana executed a suplex to Olivia off the top rope and then tagged in her partner. They had the match won after Christina delivered the Goodie Kick but as she went fore the pin, the ref got distracted by Regina and Liana fighting on the outside. Behind the ref’s back, Angelica hit Christina with the A-Bomb Drop and put Olivia on top of her. The twins got the huge win and will fight the O.C. for the SIW Tag Team championship April 24, 2005 at Full Force
“The Incredible” Ian Bishop delivered a speech on the TrevorTron live via satellite. He tried to explain his recent actions against his former fiancé H-Bomb but before he could explain, her older brothers Dark Tiger and Chimera attacked him from behind. They beat him until he bled internally. They told him he better pay child support and that if anything were to happen to their little sister or their nephew, they’d come back to kill him
After losing her #1 contendership for the Women’s title to Regina last week, Shelly The Bod was more aggressive than ever in the ring. Christina took on commentary and she wasn’t in a good mood at all. Shelly countered a closeline and executed a spine buster but Envy kicked out of the pin fall. Envy locked Shelly in the figure four in the middle of the ring but luckily Ferrari got involved and pulled Envy to the outside. Christina then got up and slammed Envy’s head into the ring post and then threw her back in the ring. Shelly won the match by pin fall after delivering her finisher, The Wipe Out. Shelly took her win and quickly left ringside with Ferrari. Christina however was pissed about her tag loss and took out her anger on Envy. She handcuffed her to the ropes and started whipping her with a Singapore Cane until she drew blood. Sky Jonez rushed to ringside and got whipped in the face immediately. Tons of security guards rushed to ringside to stop the brutal attack.
The SIW presented a video package for the Full Force PPV before the cameras cut backstage. Chief Of Staff, The Renegade arrived at the arena wearing an Uncanny Inferno t-shirt with a big X on it and was notified by Greg Banks that their boss Titan may quit his job if Trevor Derickson didn’t fire Shelby by the end of the night. Renegade didn’t seem to care as long as he could take Inferno to school in the non-title match.
The music of former three time SIW World Champion Matt Uzi was played but instead the current SIWA Heavyweight Champion Manson came out. He talked shit about Zach Blain and said that he had sex with Commissioner Latesha to get a push in the Academy. He called his graduation a fake and that he wanted to take him out before Uzi does at Full Force. Blain rushed out but before he could beat down Manson, Matt Uzi appeared from the crowd and smashed a steel chair over Blain’s head and busted him wide open. Matt then applied the Uzi Figure Four for a good five minutes with Manson randomly delivering brutal legdrops. As security finally managed to break the hold, it was to late, Blain was not able to walk properly and his legs were damaged just 6 days before Full Force.
The SIW European Champion Khristian Call had the opportunity to become a double champion as he took on the current SIW Lightweight Champion Mysery. Both competitors gave it their all for the championship in a great back and forth match. Call thought he won the match after delivering the Killer Instinct but Mysery somehow managed to kick out of the Call’s trademark 360 spinning face buster. Mysery gained momentum after Khristian missed a drop kick and Mysery whipped him in the corner and delivered a Corner Splash. As Mysery went for the Dead Mark, Call moved out of the way leaving Mysery motionless in the middle of the ring. Khristian pinned Mysery to win the SIW Lightweight Championship after delivering the Falling Down.
After a commercial break, Khristian Call was still celebrating in the ring with his new friends Angelica and Olivia who also won their match. They were interrupted by The Perfect One who came out clapping. He went to shake Call’s hand but instead spit in his face. He told Call his victory was anything but Perfect and that perfection will be seen at Full Force when he wins the SIW European title. Call responded by hitting him with his patented Lightning Strikes snap underhook DDT and left him knocked out in the middle of the ring.
The Renegade and The Uncanny Inferno faced off in the next match and it was out of control. After taking the match to the outside of the ring and using several foreign objects, senior referee Sam Carter had no choice but to disqualify both participants. Both men were bleeding badly after being hit with chairs and monitors. They ended up knocking out each other with double chair shots before being taken out by paramedics. Both men promise to have a clean submission challenge for the SIW North American Championship at Full Force.
Greg Banks held a special interview with the #1 contender Angel and the current SIW World Champion Glenn Kirby. The interview went very well hyping their match at the PPV and them apologizing for the recent misunderstandings and they even shook hands. Everything was fine until Angel guaranteed victory and that he was walking out with “his” halo at Full Force. They got into a stare down and eventually engaged in a fist fight. Both fan favorites will have to settle their differences this Sunday with the SIW World championship on the line.
Titan came out at the end of the show and asked the CEO what his decisions was. Trevor came out and said that he didn’t have enough on Shelby to fire her. Titan then told him to fire her or else he would suffer the consequences. Trevor told him that he stood by his decision and then got nailed with a hard right hand to his face. The show went off the air with Titan chokeslamming the CEO unconscious in the middle of the ring and quit his job live on television.
