The Memorial Day edition of Monday Night Brawl starts with a young lady signing the star spangled banner. Brawl General manager and current SIW Hardcore Champion Kevin “Titan” McColl comes to ringside with the title on his shoulder AND the Heavyweight championship. Titan announces that C-Mac will be out of action for about 6-8 weeks due to personal reasons but he left with one request, the title be vacated and up for grabs in a four way match with competitors he personally picked out. Titan announces that at Desperate Measures, the Heavyweight title will be on the line in the main event in a match involving Maurice Bad, the current European champion NuTz, JaeVeli Titan regretfully announces and a surprise participant that will be announced later in the night. Titan says that concerning tonight’s main event, if JaeVeli doesn’t find a suitable partner, he will have to fight both teams in a handicap match and the world titles will still on the line. Concerning the hardcore title, the whole world knows he’s the most hardcore personality in the SIW and he has nothing to prove so he will hold it till the ppv and put it on the line at in a Gauntlet Match. The competitors will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Titan then claims he’s a fighting champion and he will put the title on the line against a worthy competitor

The former mental institute patient Meastro takes on “The Incredible” Ian Bishop who returns to Brawl after his dangerous desert match at Rampage. Bishop still seems off his game but gets a near fall after delivering a clothesline from hell but Meastro kicks out. Meastro delivers a 450 splash off thetop rope but Bishop moves and Meastro tatstes the canvas. The match ends with Meastro avoiding a corner clothesline and levels Bishop with the Last Rights and pins him to get the huge win over the SIW veteran

On June 24, 2007, Titan & Monday Night Brawl presents Desperate Measures live from General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia!!

NuTz and Maurice Bad are interviewed backstage with Jack Kent and admit that their match last week was one of the greatest Brawl matches of all time but tonight is totally different as they fight on the same side and have a chance at becoming World Tag Team champions. Jack Kent suggests they call themselves Bad-NuTz and they give him a weird look. They says that they don’t need no fancy name or ring attired to beat Mo & Jaffar and that gangster wannabe JaeVeli who will probably have one of his goons Trey or Cash fill in for C-Mac

On July 11, 2007, the SIW will present Wednesday War live on CBS. The classic event will feature members from both brands Brawl and Carnage

Titan comes out for his match to defend the hardcore title and the crowd starts a “fat ass” chant just to irritate the general manger. His so called worthy opponent is none other than Johnny Jobber. It doesn’t take titan long to beat the hell out of the lightweight competitor and he choke slams him on the outside of the ring. Titan goes to pin him with one foot on his chest but takes it off and whips him into the steel steps. Titan delivers his classic running tombstone piledriver on the entrance ramp and pins Jobber to retain the title. Paramedics come out and carry out Jobber on a strecther. Whoever is part of the gauntlet at Desperate Measures will have the hard task of knocking Titan down to defeat him

”The Inmate” Jason Young gets a mixed crowd reaction as he takes on Zach Blain in the next match. Tension has been high between these two superstars as of late. Blain gets an early near fall after delivering a DDT but Young kicks out. Blain goes to the top rope but out of nowhere The Inmate pushes him off to the outside and then assaults him near the Spanish table until the referee can get them back in the ring. Blain goes for the Punishment Driver but Inmate counters and delivers a running power slam. Inmate covers but the persistent Blain kicks out. At the end of the match, Blain rolls up his opponent into an inside cradle but Inmate counters and uses the ropes for leverage and steals the win. After the match, they continue to fight all the way to the backstage are until they are separated by road agents. It looks like their hatred for each other is growing as each week goes by

Next if the highly anticipated Memorial Day Bikini contest for $100 000 between Envy, Jill, Heaven Lee, Alizé and the “original diva” Angelica Hunt. Jill comes out first in and the fans boo and chant “nasty ho”. Heaven Lee gets a nice pop as do Alizé and Envy but it’s Angelica Hunt that gets the biggest ovation with her red skimpy bikini which Mike “The Mic” calls the most revealing bikini he has ever seen in his life. The other divas don’t seem to agree with the fans decision as they go backstage as Angelica celebrates. Angelica plugs The Angelica Hunt show by showing an ad on the Trevortron. The show returns on CBS June 5th

Before the main event, “The Greatest One” Matt Uzi comes to ringside and drops a bombshell on the SIW fans. Uzi announces that last night he got the call from Titan and he will be part of the four way main event at Desperate Measures. The fans go crazy and start and “Uzi” chant as eh joins Mike and Travis at commentary

The main event is next as the world tag team titles are on the line in a triple threat tag team match. Mo and Jaffar get major heat from the Omaha crowd as they wave the Iraq flag coming to the ring. NuTz and Maurice Bad get a standing ovation as they chase Mo and Jaffar out of the ring. JaeVeli comes out accompanied by Alizé, Trey and Cash and announces that neither of his entourage will replace C-Mac as his partner during his absence. JaeVeli tells the fans that someone they know very well has decided to step in and be here tonight. JaeVeli introduces SIW veteran Terror Soule as his new tag team partner. The match starts with Bad, Mo and Terror Soule who shows no signs of ring rust. Bad has Mo in a chin lock but Soule kicks him in the head and drops him with a neck breaker. NuTz and JaeVeli battle it out on the outside and out of nowhere Jaffar collides into them as he jumps off the top rope to the outside. Mo has Soule in the Sheik Clutch but the SIW veteran fights to reach the ropes. JaeVeli hits Bad with a DDT and covers but Jaffar distracts the referee. JaeVeli clotheslines Jaffar out of the ring and then drop kicks Mo off the apron. NuTz goes for a big boot but JaeVeli moves and NuTz hits the turnbuckle. Soule and JaeVeli double team Bad and NuTz until Bad fights back and sends Soule to the outside with a belly to belly suplex. Jae sends NuTz to the outside with a back body drop over the top rope and makes him land on Jaffar and Mo. Bad beats the hell out of Jae but after delivering an overhead suplex Jae lands on his feet and nails Bad with the Reality Check and pins him to win the huge match. Uzi mentions that JaeVeli, NuTz and Bad are all great SIW wrestlers but they are not “The Greatest One” and they never will be

After the match, Soule and Jae celebrate with Alizé, Trey and Cash but their celebration is cut short as general manager Titan comes out with an angry look. Titan says that Jae is lucky that Terror helped him keep the tag team titles but he will get punished for it. Titan announces that Soule will be part of Titan’s Gauntlet at Desperate Measures so he can beat the hell out of him for helping Jae and The Cartel. Titan says that next week Jae & Terror Soule will have their second title defense against NuTz & Bad.
