One night after Carnage invaded North Dakota for Rampage, the Brawl brand was live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The program starts with the t.W.o coming out to ringside and they are greeted by boos. The leader TJD announces that just like we saw on Rampage, Monday Night Brawl will see a new champion in “The Sensational” Chris Macavedi. The crowd starts booing and chanting “C-Mac Sucks” as he takes off his leather jacket to reveal an LA Lakers jersey with Malone and #11 on the back. As C-Mac draws more heat from the crowd, the SIW Champion Glenn Kirby comes out and interrupts him telling him to stop boring the crowd with his verbal diarrhea. Kirby then drops a bombshell, senior referee Manny Kramer caught the flu and didn’t make it to the show and the other referees are not qualified to officiate the main event. Kirby then announces that he went to the board of directors to approve a suitable replacement
After a short break, Kirby is challenged by the t.W.o but he wisely declines and vows to beat them all one on one in due time. They eventually ambush him until Drako, Craig and Heavy Metal Hero rush out to even the odds. Security is forced to come out and break up the war on the entrance ramp.
The first match was the rematch between A.B.A and Blackowt for the SIW European Champion. A.B.A’s hardcore spirit started coming out after he whipped Blackowt into the steel steps. Blackowt retaliated with a drop kick which sent A.B.A head first into the security wall. After another classic battle between the pair, the match ended in double count out when they refused to get back in the ring. A.B.A continued to assault Blackowt after the match and dropped him the Bad Ass Bomb on the entrance ramp
Jack Kent interviews SIW Champion Glenn Kirby and Erin before the next match. Kent asks who the match official will be but the champ refuses to spill it. He tells Kent that he has a pleasant surprise for everyone.
Last week Xtina defeated her teammate in a hog pen match and shoved Liana Lewis’ face in hog shit after her victory. This week the million dollar princess booked Femmes Fatale in a handicap match against herself, Angelica and Scratch Cat. Liana and Xtina ripped each other apart for the good beginning of the match until Liana nailed Xtina with HurricanLiana and tags in Angelica who double teams Summer with the help from Scratch Cat. After countering Summer’s hip toss, Angie tags in Scratch who nails Summer with the Scratching Post Vertebreaker. Cat covers but Xtina makes the save. With Liana and Xtina ripping each other apart on the outside, the match ended in the ring when Angelica nailed Summer with the A-Bomb Drop and pinned her to steal the win. Angelica, Liana and Cat assault Xtina and Liana drops her with Liana's Flow. Security comes out to break it up. Xtina snaps after the match and hits Summer with the Goodie Kick. She then challenges Liana for her rematch at Desperate Measures. Will the boss’ princess give Xtina her the well deserved rematch?
On June 7, 2006, the SIW will present Wednesday War live on CBS. The classic show will feature members from both brand s Brawl and Carnage including several past SIW legends.
During SIW Unlimited, London & C-Mac are playing poker against Vince and Impulse while TJD orders the World Tag Team champs to hurt Drako and Ragin’ Craig as much as they can during their match, even injure them if they have too.
After a commercial break, Impulse took on wrestling veteran Heavy Metal Hero in the following match. Impulse was much quicker on the offence and managed to deliver the Hybrid Bomb early in the match. Impulse goes for a cover but HMH shocks everyone by kicking out at the last second. Impulse grabs the referee and demands he gives him the win. The fans go crazy as HMM clotheslines him to the canvas and locks in the Megadeth Plex on Impulse in the middle of the ring. Before Impulse taps, Nate, Bad and London come out and assault HMH to a bloody mess until Drako and Craig come out swinging steel chairs and clean house. HMH is helped backstage as he’s announced the winner via count out. Carnage Playback - For those that missed last week's Carnage on TNT.
Last week, The Renegade assaulted the SIW Hardcore Champion Asmodeus Macabre and “borrowed” his woman Krystal. This week, Macabre put the title on the line against Renegade who made his entrance accompanied by Krystal. Macabre attacks him from behind and the match got underway. After fighting all the way backstage, they made their way back to ringside where Macabre powerbombed Renegade on the security wall. Renegade seemed down and out but kicked out of a cover. Macabre sets up Renegade on a table but misses a flying elbow off the apron and goes through the table himself. Renegade gets a bag of thumbtacks from under the ring and lay them out on the mat. Krystal jumps on his back and he flips her over on to the thumbtacks. The crowd starts chanting “Holy Shit”. Renegade delivered the Slam Jam DDT to Macabre on the thumbtacks and pins him to win the hardcore championship for the forth time. The Definition of Hardcore was back and held a very emotional celebration in the ring.
Co-Gm and current SIW Women’s Champion Liana Lewis is accompanied by Angie as she made her way to the ring to answer Xtina’s challenge. Lewis gets booed when she announces that she doesn’t deserve a rematch. Liana surprisingly accepted her challenge but said they don’t have to wait till Desperate Measures. Next week, the SIW Women’s title will be on the line as Liana plans to end her nemesis’ career once and for all in a Rampage ladder rematch
The Monday Night Brawl superstars will be live from the London Arena in London, England for this year’s Desperate Measures on pay per view June 25, 2006
The World Tag Team championship are up for grabs next as Affirmative Action take on SIW’s voice of reason Drako and Ragin’ Craig. Nate and Bad used every dirty trick in the book to stay ahead in this match but Drako and Craig amazingly worked well together as team to get back into the match with Craig countering Nate’s Gangstanator into a back body drop. Drako hits Nate with the Conservative slam but then Impulse comes out and jumps on the apron. Then seconds later, Salt Lake City’s own Metalgod comes out wearing a Utah Jazz jersey and smacks a barbed wired 2x4 across Impulse back and blood is splattered everywhere. The crowd gets into a Metalgod chant. Back in the ring, Nate misses a clothesline and nails Bad by mistake who had Craig in the Bad Lock. Drako hits Nate with the Democratic Kick and Craig get a pin over Bad after delivering the Rage Factor.
After a commercial, C-Mac and Vince try to calm down the CEO who is trashing the t.W.o locker room. TJD is furious over the fact that Craig and Drako are tag champs. TJD then says they must be punished and asks his princess for advice. Liana says that they should put the titles on the line next week against the whole Affirmative Action in a handicap match. TJD then says Metalgod will also get punished by taking on the D.O.H in a first ever flaming dumpster match, a match which was suggested by The Renegade himself last year.
Glenn Kirby took on Chris Macavedi in the main event with the SIW Championship on the line. Erin announced the match official which turned out to be none other than Matt Uzi. The SIW legend shakes both their hands before the bell rings. Kirbs and C-Mac delivered a memorable high paced, intense back and forth match. Many near falls had the fans on their feet throughout the match and Uzi called it down the middle. Late in the match, Kirby hits a spinebuster, Vince gets in the ring and challenges Kirby. The A.O.A nails Vince with the Thug Bug and sends him flying out of the ring. C-Mac hits the Italian Leg Sweep and goes for a cover but Kirby kicks out. Vince comes to his senses and hands C-Mac a steel chair. C-Mac swings but Uzi grabs the chair from behind and smashes it over C-Mac’s bald head. Vince gets in the ring but is greeted with a chair shot to the face. Kirby covers C-Mac, Uzi hesitates but drops and counts the three.
With Brawl off the air, Kirby and Erin celebrate their victory. Uzi shakes his hand and heads back to the locker room but out of nowhere, the t.W.o beat down the SIW legend with baseball bats as per TJD’s orders. They invade the ring and beat down the SIW Champion with their bats. Nate and Bad hold Erin back as C-Mac and Impulse hold an unconscious Kirby. TJD uses the SIW belt and smashes it over Kirby’s skull and busts him wide open. Trevor then sinks even lower as he slaps Erin for no apparent reason.
