This was the first of two U.K shows in June for the Monday Night Brawl brand. The t.W.o come out and are booed by the London fans. They direct a “slut” chant towards Liana and TJD begs them to stop talking that way about Xtina. TJD said that last week he sent a message to Glenn Kirby and Erin by ordering the t.W.o to ambush them. TJD says Erin is lucky that Liana didn’t bitch slap her instead. Affirmative Action cut a promo for their match against the World Tag Team Champions Drako & Craig aka The new Damage inc. C-Mac then cuts a promo and threatens to kill Uzi for screwing him over. The Sensational one is cut off by the SIW Champion Glenn Kirby who said that he should worry about his match instead of crying about Uzi. Glenn tells TJD that before the night is done he’s going to receive a black eye courtesy of the A.O.A for slapping Erin last week. TJD orders the t.W.o to assault Kirby but HMH, Drako and Craig come out and even the odds. Polar’s security team rushes out before hell could break loose.
The SIW European Championship was on the line as Blackowt took on A.B.A in a submission challenge. The winner of this match goes to Desperate Measures to face the new #1 contender which will be determined later in the night. The ref is down early in he match and Blackowt has A.B.A tapping out in the middle of the ring to the Blackowt. A.B.A struggles but manages to reach the ropes. The European champion locks in the Blackowt and A.B.A screams in pain before finding his way to the ropes. Blackowt whips A.B.A to the corner and goes for a flying scissor kick but A.B.A moves and Blackowt hits the turnbuckle and hurts his leg. A.B.A delivers a devastating backbreaker and then locks Blackowt in a half crab. Blackowt is close to the ropes but A.B.A converts the half crab into a texas cloverleaf but the champ refuses to tap. A.B.A then shocks everyone by applying the Blackowt and made the champion tap to his own maneuver. A.B.A celebrates as he regains the Euro title but Blackowt goes backstage and is upset at the loss. During SIW Unlimited, Blackowt storms into the t.W.o locker room and is held back by Nate and Bad. C-Mac tells them he’s cool. TJD asks him what he wants and Blackowt demands a triple threat at Desperate Measures against A.B.A and the winner of the #1 contender match. TJD tells him if he offers his services to the t.W.o then he will get his rematch. Blackowt accepts and the fans start a “sell out” chant.
After a short break, co-gm Liana Lewis makes a blockbuster announcement. Xtina will have to compete in a warm up match before her ladder title match which was hyped as a Rampage 2005 rematch. Xtina takes on Lana Lawson in her first match and quickly dominates the rookie. After a back body drop, Xtina whips her to the ropes and delivers spine buster. As Lawson gets up, Xtina hits the Goodie Kick and pins her to win the match.
Liana Lewis tells her that she got lucky and has to compete in another warm up match against Scratch Cat. Xtina is on fire and dominates Cat just like she did with Lawson. Xtina hits an inverted DDT and pins Cat to win her second match. As Xtina gets up, Liana nails her with a cheap shot from behind and delivers a running bulldog. Liana grabs a ladder and smashes it in Xtina face. Liana starts to climb but Xtina kicks the ladder and Liana falls to the canvas. Xtina places the ladder in the corner and whips Liana into it face first. Liana is busted open. Xtina starts climbing the ladder but out of nowhere, Angelica hunt runs out and climbs the ladder and elbows Xtina off. Angelica nails Xtina with the A-Bomb Drop and helps Liana to her feet. Liana reaches the belt and retains the title.
Jack Kent is interviewing A.B.A who just regained the SIW European champion by making Blackowt tap out to his own move. A.B.A said it feels great to be champion again and he didn’t have to join the t.W.o to do it. Out of nowhere, Nate and Bad assault the new champion and Blackowt is right behind them. The former world tag champs hold A.B.A and let Blackowt smash his skull with a folded steel chair. Blackowt locks in the Blackowt and doesn’t let go until dozens of officials are forced to pull him off.
Wrestling veteran Heavy Metal Hero took on t.W.o’s Mike London in in the next match to determine a new #1 contender. London hits a clothesline and delivers the Spinal Trauma but can’t get a count because the referee is down. Seconds later, Blackowt rushes out and pulls London out of the ring and whips him into the steels steps. C-Mac and Vince are with him and they assault London who seems to have been kicked out of the group. They throw him back in the ring as the referee gets back to his feet. HMH has no idea what happened and delivers a new version of the Megadeth Plex which is his face lock into an inverted DDT and pins him to win the match. HMH barely has a chance to enjoy his victory and is attacked. C-Mac and Vince hold him back as they let Blackowt bust him open with a set of brass knucks.
On June 7, 2006, the SIW will present Wednesday War live on CBS. The classic show will feature members from both brand s Brawl and Carnage including several past SIW legends.
After a commercial break, the t.W.o are celebrating backstage. TJD says that it was definitely their night. Liana retains, Blackowt joins and replaces the dead weight known as Mike London and soon they will have the world tag belts and the world title back home in the t.W.o
Carnage Playback - For those that missed last week's Carnage on TNT.
Just two nights before their big match at WAR, SIW Hardcore Champion The Renegade took on Metalgod in a flaming dumpster match. In order to win, you must put your opponent in the dumpster and set it on fire. These hardcore icons ripped each other apart and blood was shed all over the arena. Thumbtacks are dropped on the entrance ramp. Metalgod used a barbed wire 2x4 and smashed it on Renegade’s head. The D.O.H stood up with blood dripping down his face and smiled. After dropping Metalgod with a suplex off the balcony right into the dumpster, he pours lighter fluid and sets it on fire with a zippo. As Renegade celebrates, Metalgod is still burning and attacks the champion. Metalgod drops him with the God Bomb on the thumbtacks and is sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Both men received medical attention, will they make it to WAR?
The new Damage Inc and World Tag Team Champions Drako and Grunge said that Affirmative Action need three assholes two compete with the two champs in Damage Inc. They announce that if they can beat Affirmative Action, they will be in charge of Brawl next week.
Drako and Craig attack Affirmative Action from behind but the three on two takes it toll on the champs. The bell rings as the referee gets both teams in the ring. Nate counters the conservative slam and dominates the champion until Killa Red makes a surprise appearance and hits him with a swinging neck breaker. He nails Bad and Impulse off the apron with a set of drop kicks and the referee calls the match a DQ in Affirmative Action’s favor. Killa Red quickly disappears in the crowd. After the match, the champions continued to assault A.A but they quickly fled backstage. Damage Inc chants filled the arena as Drako and Craig were declared still champs.
The Monday Night Brawl superstars will be live from the London Arena in London, England for this year’s Desperate Measures on pay per view June 25, 2006. This is the second of two shows in the U.K. this month.
Before the main event started, TJD dared Kirby to hit him but from behind C-Mac attacks him and the match gets underway. TJD and Vince ban Erin from ringside and threaten to fire anyone who decides to show up during the match. Midway, Kirby goes to the outside and levels TJD with a hard right hand. TJD is knocked on his ass. C-Mac hits the Italian Leg Sweep and goes for a cover but the champ kicks out. Late in the match, Kirby whips the challenger to the corner and knocks down the referee in the process. TJD and Vince get in the ring and assault the champion. C-Mac throws a chair in the ring and Vince makes a dent in it with Kirby’s head. The fans are on their feet as Angel comes down flying from the rafters and kicks Vince out of the ring. Angel spears TJD out of the ring but seconds later the rest of the t.W.o beat down Angel and C-Mac pins a bloodied Kirby to regain the SIW Championship.
With Brawl off the air, the t.W.o continued their assault on Angel and Kirby until Drako, Craig, HMH and A.B.A ran out to save the day. Stay tuned next week to see what happens to Killa Red, Angel and the others for sticking noses in the t.W.o’s business.
