The Brawl superstars were back from overseas live at the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The program starts with the t.W.o members (TJD, Liana, C-Mac, Vince Blackowt, Natedawg and Bad) coming to the ring and celebrating C-Mac huge win over Glenn Kirby for the SIW championship. Balloons and confetti fill the arena but the fans start a “C-Mac Sucks” chant. TJD announces that Affirmative Action was cheated out of the tag titles last week but they will get a rematch against the champions at Desperate Measures in a handicap tornado tag team match. They are soon cut off by footage on the Trevortron. Kirby and Erin are talking in the parking lot and they are almost struck by a motorcycle that stops in front of them. The biker is none other than Angel who has two baseball bats in his guitar pouch instead of his trademark purgatory guitar and hes accompanied by Jessie. The new attitude Angel takes a bat and hands one to Kirby and tells him that tonight on Brawl, Angel Authority are going to kick some t.W.o ass.
The first match of the night was a real intense confrontation between the longest reigning women’s champ Xtina and the original diva Angelica Hunt. Brawl co-gm and SIW Women’s champion Liana Lewis watched the match backstage on a monitor. Angie goes for a DDT but Xtina counters into an atomic drop and levels her with a clothesline. As Xtina calls for her finisher, Liana Lewis walks down the ramp and out of nowhere, Xtina goes off the ropes and nails Lewis with a suicide dive. Angie attacks Xtina from behind and gets the upperhand after delivering a devastating scissor kick. Angie covers but Xtina kicks out at two. The match ended when Angie missed clothesline and Xtina capitalized by delivering the Goodie Kick and pinned her to take the big win. As Xtina celebrates, Angie delivers the A-Bomb Drop. Both her and Liana double team Xtina. Angie holds her back as Liana swings a folded steel chair to her head but Xtina ducks and Liana hits Angie by mistake and she’s left out cold on the canvas. Xtina managed to escape the ring and tells Liana that her time is up at Desperate Measures.
During SIW Unlimited, Angelica Hunt received medical attention. Will she be able to forgive Liana for hitting her with a steel chair?
t.W.o’s Impulse took on his former friend Killa Red in the next match which we see the rest of Affirmative Action Nate and Bad come out during the match. Bad turns the referee around as Natedawg nails Killa with the Gangstanator and puts Impulse over him for the cover. Bad tells the ref to open his eyes as Impulse picks up the win. Affirmative Action beat down Killa until Drako and Craig run out for the save. C-Mac and Blackowt run out as well but the odds are even again as Angel and Kirby come out swinging their bats. The t.W.o retreats and TJD speaks for his group where he tells the competitors in the ring they were going to pay for interfering in their business. TJD tells Angel hae ain’t afraid of his new tattoos and that he signed his death warrant by coming back to Brawl.
Jack Kent congratulates Xtina backstage for her win over Angelica Hunt even though Liana tried to screw her. Xtina said that Liana can’t fight her own battles and she’s expecting some desperate measures from the champ at the pay per view because the Atlanta native has been desperate and envious of Xtina since her record breaking title reign.
After a commercial break, Katie and Jimmy announced that they were informed that the SIW Championship will be defended at Desperate Measures when C-Mac puts his belt on the line against Glenn Kirby since he decided to use his rematch clause at the ppv.
Blackowt comes out to officiate the next non title match against Heavy Metal Hero and the champion A.B.A. Blackowt called the match down the middle but he’s knocked on down after A.B.A whipped HMH into him. Blackowt gets upset and levels A.B.A with a hard right hand and out of nowhere, HMH hits the Megadeth Plex and gets a quick the count over the champion. HMH leaves the ring after the match but Blackowt locks in the Blackowt on A.B.A in the middle of the ring. HMH decides to go back and attacks Blackowt. Security rushes out to hold the competitors back. What will happen at Desperate Measures when these three competitors face each other in a triple threat for the European title?
On August 16, 2006, the SIW will present Wednesday War live on CBS for a second time. The classic event will feature members from both brands Brawl and Carnage.
Carnage Playback - For those that missed last week's Carnage on TNT.
The Renegade comes out to the ring and gets a nice pop from the Vancouver crowd. He calls out Metalgod and challenges him to a good old falls count anywhere hardcore match for the his title at Desperate Measures. Metalgod gladly accepts and promises to show him the real definition of hardcore and says that their ppv match will determine just who is the most hardcore fucker in the SIW.
One half of the World Tag Team champions Ragin’ Craig took on the wrestling machine Maurice Bad in the next match. Bad works on Craig’s ankle before applying the Bad Lock in the middle of the ring. Craig manages to turn over and kick him in the head and then drops him with a powerslam. Craig goes to deliver the Rage Factor but out of nowhere, Impulse clips Craig’s knee and assaults him in the corner. The referee calls a DQ. Craig fights back and throws both of them out of the ring and receives a standing ovation as they retreat.
The Monday Night Brawl superstars will be live from the London Arena in London, England for this year’s Desperate Measures on pay per view June 25, 2006. This is the second of two shows in the U.K. this month.
TJD yells at Impulse and Maurice Bad and asks how he could loose to that Neanderthal Ragin’ Craig. TJD tells Affirmative Action their next duty is get the World Tag Team titles and if they fail, words can't describe the consequences. The CEO announces that there will be no interference in the next match because the unpinned Natedawg will defeat Drako with ease.
Natedawg takes on one half of the world tag team champions Drako in the next match. Nate hits a spine buster and goes for a quick cover but Drako kicks out. Nate continues to dominate until Drako is sent to the corner and avoids a corner splash by kicking Nate in the face. Drako hits the LiberterianPlex and picks up the huge upset win over Nate via pin fall. Drako celebrates after the match and gets the fans to chant “you got pinned”
Angel and Jessie cut a promo backstage with Jack Kent sitting on their motorcycle. The former multi time world champion announced that he recently chose a new path in life and joined the Hell’s Angels. He says that when Angel Authority hit the ring one more time, it’s going to be a massacre. Angel starts the bike and heads out for his entrance.
C-Mac and Blackowt with Vince and TJD are talking shit in the ring before the match when all of a sudden, Angel rides out on his bike and jumps in the ring and hits TJD with the Atonement Spear. C-Mac and Blackowt jump him and the match starts. Moments later, Kirby comes out and evens the odds. Erin throws the bats in the ring and Angel Authority beat C-Mac and Blackowt senseless in the middle of the ring and get disqualified. Nate runs out and is immediately knocked down with a bat to the stomach and a Thug Bug. Bad comes out and Angel bashes his skull with the baseball bat. Impulse and Vince are also assaulted by Kirby and Angel with baseball bat shots to their skulls.
When Monday Night Brawl went off the air, TJD looked at his t.W.o members laid out in the ring and notices he’s bleeding from his mouth. TJD tells Angel nobody makes him bleed his own blood. TJD then makes a blockbuster announcement. At Desperate Measures, he will fight Angel one on one and kick his ass and he's going to set a good example on how to win. As for Kirby, TJD tells him his title shot at the ppv will be the last one he ever gets as long as works for the SIW.
