Monday Night Brawl starts with a video tribute to one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time Chris Benoit who was found dead along with his wife Nancy and seven year old son Daniel in their Georgia home at 4 pm in the afternoon. Jimmy and Katie announce this is one of the saddest days in professional wrestling. Benoit was known as "The Canadian Crippler". Another nickname was the Rabid Wolverine. His signature move was the "Crippler Crossface." RIP Chris Benoit 1967-2007
CEO Trevor Derickson coming to ringside and announces that Titan hurt his back at last night’s ppv and will not be in Calgary tonight. However Titan will be joining us later in the night via satellite from his hospital bed. TJD then introduces the new Heavyweight champion “The Greatest One” Matt Uzi. TJD shakes his hand and tells him they have been through a lot over the years and congratulates him on his big win last night against three of the top stars on Brawl. JaeVeli interrupts them and tells them to let go of each others genitals and get the show started. JaeVeli goes off on Uzi and tells him he is destined to have the shortest title reign in SIW history. European champion and World Tag Team champion NuTz comes out and tells Jae he is right about Uzi’s reign because he’s taking the title tonight. Jae and NuTz get into a stare down until Maurice Bad comes out and tells them that tonight is his night. Uzi then complains that he shouldn’t have to defend the title just 24 hours after winning it and TJD agrees. TJD says that it was Titan’s idea to make a Desperate Measures rematch tonight but plans have changed. Since Uzi just won the title, tonight he will not have to put the title on the line. Uzi’s smile then turns to a shock look as TJD announces he will still have to fight NuTz, Maurice Bad &JaeVeli in a non title match. Uzi doesn’t like the idea but is told he has no choice but to fight. NuTz, Bad and Jae tells Uzi he’s screwed as the cameras cut backstage
New SIW Women’s champion Heaven Lee is sending Chris Macavedi a text message when all of a sudden she’s confronted by Rashaa Kaad. Rashaa tells her she was impressive last night in the Diva Rumble 4 but anything can happen in a match like that. Rashaa challenges Heaven to put her title on the line next week on Brawl in a one on one match. Heaven Lee tells her she doesn’t deserve a title shot an says no to her. Rashaa replies with a slap to her face and attacks the new champ. Road agents eventually stop the brawl
The Joker made his return last night at Desperate Measures with a win over Jay Reynolds. Tonight he had his hands full with the former insane asylum patient Meastro. After taking a punishing beating in the beginning of the match, Joker turns things around by avoiding a corner elbow and then delivers a snap DDT. Joker continues to dominate and picks up the win by submission using the mandible claw. Joker is now 2-0 since his return
Mo and Jaffar are backstage breaking into Terror Soule’s locker room but when they get in the new SIW Hardcore champion is nowhere to be found. They search everywhere but out of nowhere Soule uses Mo’s head to bust the glass of a fire extinguisher display but from behind Jaffar chokes him with a scarf. Security is forces Jaffar off and paramedics are on the scene. Fortunately Terror and Mo didn’t suffer any major injuries
Last night The Inmate became the #1 contender for the SIW European championship with a win over Zach Blain thanks to A.B.A’s interference. Inmate makes his entrance accompanied by his new manager A.B.A and announces that he will challenge NuTz for the European championship next week on Brawl. Blain makes his entrance and says that he was robbed last night but everyone knows who the real winner is. They exchange lefts and rights and the match starts. Blain gets a near fall after delivering a fisherman neck breaker but A.B.A pulls Inmate out of the ring. The match continues with Blain getting another near fall with a roll up but Inmate kicks out. Late in the match, Blain I close to winning and A.B.A slides in the ring with s steel chair and smashes it over Blain’s skull. The referee calls the match a DQ as Inmate and A.B.A assault Blain

Jack Kent insults Matt Uzi by asking him if he’s intimidated by his three opponents. Uzi smacks him across his head and tells him Uzi is not scared of anybody. Uzi says that he already proved he is better than all of them by winning the Heavyweight Championship last night. Uzi announces that next week, he will debut his new talk show, One on One with the Champ
Xtina wears a Flames jersey and gets a standing ovation from the Calgary fans as she makes her entrance accompanied by her sister Michelle who is now part of Brawl. Xtina says that even though she lost last night she is not bitter because she is going to get her title back tonight in a rematch with Heaven. Xtina says that Titan is lucky not to be here tonight because she is not finished with him. Heaven Lee comes out and the cat fight starts. The ref calls for the bell as they whip each other around the ring by their hair. Xtina nails Heaven with a vicious clothesline and then delivers a leg drop off the top rope and covers but Heaven kicks out. Late in the match, Xtina delivers a scissor kick and then climbs to the top rope. Heaven gets up and elbows her off to the outside and Xtina falls and hits her head on the Spanish table. Noticing Xtina is not getting up, Heaven slides her in the ring and pins her to retain the championship. After the match Michelle calls for paramedics and Xtina is still motionless and is taken out on a stretcher

After a short break, Heaven is backstage with Jack Kent and says she hopes Xtina is alright and she didn’t mean to jeopardize her career with a head injury. Rashaa appears and accuses Heaven of doing it on purpose. Heaven snaps and starts shouting at Rashaa and tells her she will get her match next week
World Tag Team Champions Maurice Bad and NuTz are informed by Trevor Derickson that they defend the World Tag Team titles at WAR but he hasn't decided against who yet
Next week we will witness the debut of Sean Alexander. General Manager Titan high has hopes for this third generation
Jaffar and Mo who wears a bandage on his head make their way to the ring waving the Iraq flag and get booed by the Calgary fans. Jaffar starts signing a song in Arab in honor of his home country of Iraq but he’s interrupted halfway by Terror Soule who runs out with marks on his neck and nails both of them with lefts and rights until they double team him. Jaffar holds Soule from behind as Mo punches him in the ribs. Mo delivers a DDT and then covers but Soule kicks out. They assault Soule all the way backstage where Jaffar swings a metal pole but Soule moves and Jaffar knocks out Mo by mistake. Soule kicks Jaffar in the guy and then delivers the Soule Fusion on a metal crate and pins him to overcome the odds once again
On July 11, 2007, the SIW will present Wednesday War live on CBS. The classic event will feature members from both brands Brawl and Carnage
The Trevortron shows footage of Titan live via satellite from his hospital bed in Vancouver. Titan says that although Desperate Measures was a huge success, he was embarrassed and humiliated by that little prick Terror Soule and he will pay for this. Titan then covers which he calls the positive notes, a new Heavyweight champion and Xtina is no longer Women’s champion. Titan tells Xtina if she has a problem she can suck his big boa. Titan announces that next week he will be back to run his show and there will be hell to pay. The main event for next week will be Maurice Bad vs JaeVeli in a submission challenge
Carnage preview. The SIW Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Definition takes on Damage Inc members Drako & Grunge. Will Darren Knight get fired for not showing like Banks promised? Also not to miss is the last man standing match between Doogan and Gateman and much more this Friday on MTV

June 26, 2004 Fedex Forum | Memphis, Tennessee Matt Uzi defeated Cyrus in a Buried Alive match on the 2004 inaugural Monday Night Brawl
It is announced that Xtina has suffered a concussion when she fell off the tope rope during her match and will be out of action indefinately. Will Michelle look to get even with Heaven Lee for injuring her sister?
After a commercial break, the four busted up competitors are announced for the main event and they continue where they left off last night at Desperate Measures. They all attack Uzi on the outside and the ref looses control of this one as soon as it starts. NuTz and Bad irish whip Uzi towards Jae and JaeVeli launches Uzi with a back body drop on the entrance ramp and then all hell breaks loose. NuTz and Bad work as a team and take on JaeVeli in the ring. Uzi tells the referee he can’t continue the match and is clearly faking a rib injury and gets booed. JaeVeli decides to chase Uzi and slams him into the steel structure of the Trevortron. NuTz beats Jae back to ringside and slides him back into the ring. As NuTz kicks Jae in the corner, Maurice delivers a triple german suplex to NuTz showing shades of the late Chris Benoit and covers but NuTz kicks out. The match ends with NuTz nailing Jae out of the ring with a big boot an then covers his partner after delivering the NuTz N’ Bolts and wins the huge match. After the match, Bad shakes hands with NuTz but takes out his frustrations on JaeVeli by applying the Bad Lock in front of the commentary table as the show goes off the air
