UWWE Monday Night Brawl General Manager – Greg Banks
UWWE members Airington, Moore, Bishop, A.B.A, Knux and Adams were lead to the ring by UWWE World Champion Duane Doogan and MNB GM Greg Banks at the beginning of the show. They announced that they were officially taking over MNB and Bishop and Moore were minutes from taking over the SIW World Tag Team Championship. As they continued to talk shit about the SIW, TJD came out at the entrance ramp surrounded by authorities and the rest of Rated X (Primetime, DVR, Ringo and Bernardo). TJD delivered some bad news for the “Mayhem”, apparently they have been removed from the pay roll. After yelling like a mad man, Banks demanded the main event match be a World Title match. TJD accepted the match, but make a stipulation, if Johnson wins; he gets Banks next week in a steel cage.
Angelica Hunt and Liana Lewis took on Shelly The Bod in a triple threat match for the SIW Women’s Championship. Angelica Hunt whipped Liana to the corner and hit a corner splash. She nailed Shelly with the A-Bomb drop and went for the pin but Liana broke the count with an elbow to the back of Angie’s head. Liana made history when she won the match by pinning Angelica with Liana’s Flow to become a two time SIW Women’s champion.
Mohamed Abdul Sheik took the night off but his servant Jaffar hosted another edition of Jaffar’s Cave with the current SIW Hardcore Champion Grunge. The champion claimed to be the most feared competitor to ever enter an SIW ring and there was no one that could beat him in a one on one fight. Grunge said that it was only a matter of time before he became the SIW Champion. Out of nowhere, his old tag team partner Drako climbed in the ring and cracked his head open with a steel pipe leaving him unconscious in the middle of the set. Drako then leveled Jaffar with the Last in Line and quickly escaped security and ran into the crowd.
The SIW World Tag Team Championship was up for grabs in a memorable battle between Bishop/Moore, I-4, DVR/Ringo and the champs Angel/Glenn Kirby. Greg Banks presented a UWWE senior referee to officiate the match. Despite having their fair share of problems, Angel and Glenn Kirby dominated the match until Knux decided to pull Kirby out of the ring as he was coming off the ropes. Knux nailed the A.O.A with a suplex on the concrete ground and then threw him back in the ring but then got knocked down by Slick and Disco from I-4 who wanted their titles back. Late in the match, Moore pushed Ringo off the top turnbuckle before he could deliver to the Ringo Rocket to Bishop. A.O.A hit Moore with a Thug Bug and Angel caught him and locked him in the Judgment Sharpshooter. The ref ignored Moore tapping out and decided to count Bishop’s pin fall over DVR after delivering the Cyclone. At the end of the match, Moore, Bishop along with Knux took the titles and ran backstage to celebrate with the rest of the “Mayhem”
The new SIW Women’s Champion Liana Lewis was getting interviewed by Jack Kent but was soon confronted by Xtina. After a few heated words Xtina pulled the new champ by her hair and whipped her into a metal cage. In a despicable act, Liana’s celebration was cut short when Xtina took the camera from the camera man and broke it over Liana’s head and left her on the ground lying in a pool of her own blood. It was reported that the new champion received six stitches but suffered no head injuries.
This Wednesday, MNB will be live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The main event will have Mysery Primetime and Ramrock taking on Duane Doogan and James Airington in tag team action. Also not to miss will be Darren Moore against Johnny Ringo and Brina Marie’s debut as she takes on Kira Andrews..
UWWE World Champion Duane Doogan took on The Eulogy in the next match. A lot of history was behind this match from the old UWWE days. Bishop was supposed to be the guest referee but he was advised to leave ringside by staff members and was replaced by referee "Big" Joe Berry. It was an intense back and forth match but Doogan managed to steal this one after hitting Eulogy with the DooganDT and pinned him.
Carnage rewind was aired. Last week SIW Heavyweight Champion Gavin Payne got some revenge in Tokyo as he leveled the masked person with a steel chair and assaulted Uzi with a bulldog off a ladder in the ring into the Spanish table. James Muret continued his hot streak as he won the money in the bank ladder match. The Renegade made his return and will be in action later in the week and at Global Warning to take on Nutz and Metalgod for the SIW Extreme Championship.
Russel McPiledriverton loves the SIW European Championship and had a chance to get it back as he took on the current champion Davyd North. Russel delivered a neckbreaker and then dropped a big elbow of the top rope. He went for the pin but North kicked out. The match ended when Davyd North countered the Perfect Piledriver into a back body drop followed by a Vertibreaker. North retained the title after delivering the Northern Style but before he could pin him, Slick, Disco and Andrew assaulted the champion and officials were forced to come out and break it up.
H-Bomb and Regina Todd were backstage talking to Jack Kent about H-Bomb’s return to the ring after the birth of her child Jenna Page. Mysery walked in their locker room and put his hand on H-Bomb’s stomach. Everything seemed fine until H-Bomb started feeling contractions and had to be rushed to the Vancouver Hospital. The SIW hopes to get an update on the situation as soon as possible.
Former SIW Heavyweight Champion James Airington made his return to the ring against the current SIW Champion “Primetime” Ryan Johnson. Greg Banks and TJD stood at ringside along with security in case UWWE decided to interfere. Airington and Primetime delivered a great match that got the crowd on their feet. Airington pounded Primetime in the corner with kicks to the head but Primetime got back in the match when he hit a low blow. Johnson whipped Airington to the ropes and nailed him with a Pumphandle Slam. Moments later Banks stood at the top of the apron but was quickly knocked down by a hard right hand from the SIW champion. TJD chipped in by hitting Banks with a closeline and then rammed his head in the ring post. Back in the ring, Airington went for the AirSlam but Primetime pushed him towards the ropes and hit a spinning spine buster. The referee was distracted by TJD while Ringo ran out and hit Airington with the Ringo Rocket. Primetime stole the win by pin fall.
