Monday Night Brawl General Manager – Greg Banks

October 17, 2005
The Palace Of Auburn Hills
Auburn Hills, Michigan

The great fans of Auburn Hills welcomed the superstars of Monday Night Brawl at the Palace for a memorable program. The show started with the SIW Champion Duane Doogan, Trevor Derickson and General Manager Greg Banks coming out to ringside. Banks announced that they fired A.B.A from their union and decided to go separate ways. Doogan then grabbed the mic and said with the help of his good friend NuTz he was able to pull off a kidnapping and making Bishop’s life a living hell even though he’s on a different brand. Doogan said Bishop can hide all he wants but at Unhallowed Desires, it will be the end of Bishop once and for all. Doogan claimed he made Bishop in the UWWE and he could end his career just as fast. With TJD’s permission, Doogan called Kim a stupid bitch and told her to mind her own business.

The fans showed sympathy for H-Bomb by bringing signs and posters. H-Bomb has legal battles to overcome thanks to Xtina after she reported her as an unfit mother to child services. Last night on MNB, Regina Todd had a chance to get revenge on Xtina for her best friend in a rematch from Desperate Measures. Regina was impressive at the beginning of the match especially when coming close to making her opponent tap out with a Boston Crab. Xtina showed her competitive spirit by breaking out of the hold and eventually getting the win with the Goodie Kick and a pin fall. Xtina has been on a month and a half rampage. According to current wrestling polls, Xtina is the heavy favorite in the Diva Rumble 3 at Unhallowed Desires.

Gavin Payne and Matt Uzi will compete in a Buried Alive Match for the SIW Heavyweight Championship. Also on the card will be the long awaited confrontation between Ian Bishop and Duane Doogan in a Grudge Match.

The next match was a interbrand match between Grunge & Metalgod and Drako and The Ghost. Grunge went for a top-rope clothesline on ABA, but accidentally hit the Metalgod. ABA went for the cover, but Grunge broke it up. Drako and Ghost fell to the outside, and Metalgod asked why Grunge had hit him, clear miscommunication between the team. Drako and Ghost broke up the argument, and moments later, Metalgod accidentally hit Grunge. Ghost took the turnbuckle pad off one of the corners, and he and Drako launched Metalgod into the air hitting his head to the exposed turnbuckle. Ghost capitalized and pinned Metalgod to win the match. At the end of the match, Drako nailed his partner with the Last In Line and threw him out of the ring. Grunge did the same with Metalgod after delivering the Grunganator. Grunge grabbed the mic and said that the fight was between him and Drako not two Carnage wannabes. Out of nowhere, Grunge nailed him with the Grunganator and left him unconscious in the middle of the ring just two weeks before Unhallowed Desires.

The SIW World Tag Team Champions, Dallas Nash, Vincent D’Amor and Vince Aprali arrived at the Palace accompanied by who Nash calls “The Future of the SIW”, Chris Macavedi. Together they call themselves The Family and so far have backed up all their talk as of late. They managed to win the World Tag belts and Macavedi has a win over the former SIW Heavyweight Champion James Airington.

Former Jamaican wrestler Tyson Lewis was the guest referee for the next match as Liana Lewis took on Katie Mysfit. Polar took on commentating duties for the rest of the night. Last week Katie hit Tyson with a low blow which resulted in Greg Banks booking this match. A sunset flip turned into a Liana pin attempt, but Katie countered with a pin try of her own. In a remarkable display of agility and quick thinking, each woman took turns rolling the other into a pin. Late in the match, Katie purposely slammed Liana onto her father and then went for the ring bell. As Katie turned around, Liana punched her in the jaw and then whipped her into the steel steps. Liana charged at Katie but the former Women’s champion lifted her leg and kicked the champ in the face. The match ended when Tyson called the match a DQ in favor of his daughter. Katie was pissed and grabbed a fire extinguisher from under the ring and sprayed both father and daughter in their faces. Katie then low blowed Mr.Lewis and delivered the Punk Rock Smash to Liana and told her that at Unhallowed Desires, her title reign was coming to an end.

Greg Banks showed footage from a Unhallowed Desires press conference earlier in the day. He announced that he booked a new match for the PPV extravaganza. The SIW World Tag Team Championship will be up for grabs in a Four Way Elimination Tag Team Match between HMH & Airington, JD Stars & Mysery, Angel & Inferno and The Family. During the conference Banks also said he felt like firing someone, anyone actually just to use his powers. “The Paragon” Larry Lansdowne was the unfortunate sucker of the week and was publicly fired.

JD Stars and Mysery were introduced as The Dead Pool before their match with Jason “Insanity” Brown and the SIW Hardcore Champion A.B.A. Stars and Mysery dominated the beginning of the match due to Brown and A.B.A arguing the whole time. Mysery delivered an Evenflow DDT and went for the cover but A.B.A kicked out. Stars and Brown battled late in the match. Stars missed a closeline and Brown nailed him with a flying body press off the ropes. Brown went for a tag but A.B.A dropped down from the apron and started to walk up the entrance ramp. Dead Pool picked up the win after Mysery rolled Jason up from behind and pinned him. After the match Jason assaulted A.B.A with a steel chair and busted his head open. Brown then whipped A.B.A into the side of the Trevortron and then knocked him out with a DDT on the entrance ramp.

Former SIW Champions The Uncanny Inferno and Angel along with Jessie were on hand in Jaffar's Cave. Mo and Jaffar talked shit about Catholics and America, but Angel made it very clear that they weren't going to put up with any Jihad crap. Angel was very vocal about last Monday and this past Thursday. Inferno and Angel both agreed it was time to do something about the evil corporate syndicate that had taken a hold of SIW. Angel vowed to be at Thursday's Carnage to insure Christina York's safe return. Jessie was also adamant about Christina's wellbeing but was cut off by Mo saying nobody cares about that stupid slut York. Jessie kicked Mo in the groin and followed with a DDT of her own. Jaffar tried to defend Mo, but was met with Angel's fist to his face. They left Mo and Jaffar in pain on the ground as the segment ended with the crowd cheering for the trio.

Heavy Metal Hero was accompanied by James Airington in the next match against Chris Macavedi. Last week Mac got the upset win over James Airington and looked for the same results this week against Airington’s tag team partner. HMH catapulted Macavedi over the top rope then took him down with a hurracanrana off the ring apron. HMH dominated some of the match but Macavedi managed to surprise HMH with a quick rollup though and got the pin to win his second match in a row on MNB. At the end of the match, Nash and Vincent rushed out and The Family assaulted both James and HMH. Airington got smart and managed to roll out of the ring and grab a barbed wire 2x4 and swung at The Family until they fled the ring.

After a commercial break, the show aired the new ad for Wrestlefest 2006. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will take place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on March 19, 2005

The fans gave Kim Derickson a standing ovation before the show ended as she made her way to ringside to announce her surprise for the SIW Champion Duane Doogan. She said that her divorce court date was Wednesday October 19, 2005. That day will be known forever as the day TJD lost half the SIW. But no one could be prepared for what she had in store for the champion next Monday Night Brawl. She announced that next Monday, just one week from Unhallowed Desires, Doogan will put his championship on the line against Khristian Call. She called out the former SIW European Champion and after shaking hands she gave him his time with the fans to celebrate his return.
