Monday Night Brawl was live on the FX network for the first time and things got heated up right at the beginning. GM Greg Banks came out accompanied by the SIW Champion Duane Doogan and thanked FX for having his brand on their network and stated that MNB and FX together can make some serious money. Banks announced a tournament staring next week in which the winner will face the winner of Carnage’s tournament at Road To Glory. The winner will earn a spot to fight the champion of his own brand. He was soon cut off by Damage Inc, Grunge who had the stolen SIW title and the self proclaimed political advisor Drako who promoted his upcoming book (SIW the Bad, the Ugly, the CORRUPT) and asked who exactly was going to be in this tournament because Grunge was the #1 contender. Banks told them it was undecided but one thing for sure is there was no number one contender and that if Grunge wants another shot at the SIW Championship he will have to win the tournament. Grunge and Drako left the ring in disgust and told Doogan he can’t hide behind corrupt management forever.
Jasmine Moon made a great impression in her first match on MNB against former SIW Women’s champion Liana Lewis who was accompanied by Glenn Kirby. Jasmine Moon got many near falls on the SIW veteran and came seconds from a pin fall after delivering a Snap DDT. The crowd got Liana back into the match and she executed a nice Sommersault Plancha knocking her opponent out of the ring. Jasmine pushed the time keeper and grabbed his chair but Kirby sneaked up from behind and took it away. Jasmine started screaming at Kirby but out of nowhere, Liana hit her with a suicide dive. Liana won the match via pin fall after delivering Liana’s Flow.

The PPV will feature elimination style matches and the SIW Heavyweight Championship will be on the line in the main event. Armani Styles defends the SIW North American Championship in a fatal four way elimination match against Brandon Gateman, James Muret and Bozzman.
The Intolerables are back after their shenanigans last Monday where they attacked Retro Man and the SIW Champion Duane Doogan. Slick Willy and Retro Man performed a great back and forth match and Retro should have won after hitting Slick with a Bulldog off the top rope but the referee was knocked down. Slick won the match after hitting Retro with a low blow and then delivered the The Shining Death Dropkick to steal the win.
”2Good” Chris Lamb and his valet Vanessa were talking to several staff members backstage before getting caught up by Jack Kent. Vanessa told everyone that 2Good was to be taken seriously and he wasn’t kidding when he proposed a challenge to the SIW champion. Lamb said he has paid his dues in this business but if he has to win a tournament to prove he’s the best then that’s exactly what he will do. Vanessa said that FX marked a new era for MNB and that Lamb was going to be the leader of it.
One half of the SIW World Tag Team Champions JD Stars took on Russel McPilerdriveton in a Piledriver Match. In order to win, you must hit your opponent with any type of Piledriver. Russel came out first and reminded everyone that he is the ‘inventor of the piledriver” and he was going to teach JD a lesson for having the audacity to compete in such a match. JD came out from under the ring and clipped Russel’s knee from behind and the match got underway. Russel managed to keep ahead in the match despite limping all over the place. Russel then picked up JD lifting him on his shoulders and went to hit the Tombstone Piledriver. JD countered into a Tombstone of his own, dropping Russel down with impact on his neck to win the match.

Regina Todd took on the SIW Women’s Champion Xtina in another classic confrontation. Xtina attempted a moonsault on Regina, but Regina moved out of the way. Regina launched Xtina by her hair into the corner and connected with a big DDT. Late in the match, Xtina went after Regina who jumped up and attempted a sunset flip pin, but Xtina kicked out and eventually nailed her with the Goodie Kick and pinned her to retain the SIW Women’s championship. At the end of the match, Xtina said she will be at Carnage to make an announcement concerning the tournament bout between Angelica and Heaven Lee
A video package was shown on the Trevortron for Alora Wright. She was born in New Orleans to a couple who owns a natural gas company. She has chosen a different path in life, she chose a career in wrestling and has finally made it to the bright lights of the SIW. She will make her debut next Monday in singles competition.
Grunge and Drako came out to ringside and got a mixed reaction from the Columbus crowd. Drako said that as the “Real” SIW Champion, it should be Grunge in the main event and not that ass licker Duane Doogan. One half of the SIW World Tag Team Champions Mysery who wore an Eddie Guerrero t-shirt interrupted Drako and his usual propaganda about the SIW and the first blood match started as he and Grunge fought on the entrance ramp. Mysery avoided a closeline and then nailed Grunge with a missile drop kick to the outside. As Drako picked up Grunge, Mysery jumped off the top rope and nailed Drako with a flying body press. Eventually Grunge was on the offensive end and called for the Grunganator but out of nowhere, Duane Doogan jumped out from the crowd and nailed Drako with the DooganDT. Doogan grabbed his belt and hit Grunge but he ducked and Doogan nailed Mysery and busted him wide open accidentally giving the win to Grunge.
This Wednesday on War, the SIW will be live in Springfield, Missouri as Glenn Kirby takes on SIW Champion Duane Doogan in a non title match. Also scheduled is I-3’s Slick Willy Seaman & Russel McPiledriverton to take on the SIW World Tag Team Champions Dead Pool.
A tragic incident happened during the next match between Jason Brown & Metal Moses against HMH and the SIW Hardcore Champion A.B.A. Late in the tag match, A.B.A climbed the top rope, Brown followed and delivered a suplex outside of the ring causing A.B.A to fall on the back of his head and left him motionless. Referee Andrew Yung ended the match and decided to a no contest. Moses, HMH and Brown stood around the paramedics as they took out the champion out on a stretcher who was bleeding from his mouth. We hope to get an update on A.B.A’s condition later in the week and what the status of the SIW Hardcore Championship is.
Jack Kent called out Vince Aprali and his client and current SIW European Champion Chris Macavedi for an exclusive interview. C-Mac made fun of Kent’s ugly face mole and then trashed the managing skills of Greg Banks and said he was here to make an impact in the ring and not to do interviews. He said since he wasn’t booked to fight, he was booking his own match and called out Ohio’s own, Dallas Nash. A little midget dressed up as Nash came out and started talking trash like the real one. Aprali was appointed referee for the match. C-Mac kicked the midget in the face and then made him tap out with a one finger lock. The real Dallas Nash came out and all hell broke loose in the ring. C-Mac and Nash fought all the way into the crowd until security showed up and broke up the brawl.
After a commercial break General Manager Greg Banks came out and called out former SIW Champion Angel for a “meeting”. Banks congratulated him on getting rid of those two terrorists and reminded him that he has done a lot for him throughout his career. Angel stood quietly as Banks pointed at him and told him that he made him what he was today and if he thought he was going to compete at a Carnage PPV he was fired just like Call, H-Bomb and Stryfe. He then asked Angel how much he valued his job and pointed out if he lost at Staying Alive, Carnage won’t want him either, he will be Uzi’s left overs. Angel said that was the chance he was willing to take and then turned around to smash Purgatory over his head letting the fans give him a standing ovation. Angel told the fans and the millions at home watching that he will see them at Staying Alive.
”The Disco Duck” Jimmy Cefalo got the fans dancing during his entrance as he made his in ring return but from behind the SIW Champion Duane Doogan nailed him with a running bulldog. Doogan beat him the rest of the way to the ring and the match started as they both entered. Cefalo and Doogan battled back and forth in this intense match. Disco locked Doogan in a half crab but the champ reached the ropes to break the hold. Eventually Grunge came out to seek revenge on Doogan and got him back as he smashed him with a steel chair. The ref called a disqualification as Grunge continued to assault the champion. All three competitors were at war until the lights went out for about fifteen seconds. When they came back on, Dead Pool were standing in the ring as the others were soaked from a bloodbath. Mysery and JD assaulted Grunge and Doogan and beat them down in the bloody mess as the show went off the air.
