We are back and it is time for the contract signing for the main event at StarClash 03. We see Commissioner Steamboat and the lawyers in the ring.
"In the End" by Linkin Park plays and out comes the NAWA International Champion Jerry Lynn. Lynn is wearing his wrestling tights for later tonight. Lynn enters the ring and sits on one side of the table.
"Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins plays and out comes Harry Harris to cheers. Harry Harris enters the ring, gives Lynn a dirty look before sitting down on the other side of the table.
Steamboat: Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the official contract signing for the main event at StarClash 03. It features Harry Harris against Jerry Lynn for the New Age Wrestling Alliance World Title. Now several stipulations have been added into the contract as a result of several concerns issued by the board of directors and the referees here at the New Age Wrestling Alliance. I will let Mr. Jones, the head of the NAWA legal team explain these stipulations.
Mr. Jones grabs the microphone.
Jones: Thank you Commissioner Steamboat. This main event is a big asset in the future of the New Age Wrestling Alliance and this is the first time ever that Mr. Jerry Lynn has received a shot at the New Age Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Champion. Now we do not want an unsatisfactory ending which leads to leaving the fans with a bad taste in their match so several stipulations have been drawn up. Number one, this match is also for the New Age Wrestling Alliance International Championship that Jerry Lynn currently holds.
Lynn's eyes bug out and he goes to make a move but Steamboat gives him a look to silence him.
Jones: Number Two, this match will be No Disqualification, No Countout, and there will not be a time limit attached to this match. There will be a winner in this match, no matter how long it takes. Thirdly, the referees in the New Age Wrestling Alliance have expressed concern about such a match occuring and being the one to referee it. They feel that their well being is threatened by putting Mr. Lynn and Mr. Harris in this type of match and my staff agrees so that is why, we agree that on December Twenty First at StarClash, a special referee will be brought in who will not be intimidated by the wrestlers. We can reveal that this referee will be, Mr. Rowdy Roddy Piper.
The crowd cheers despite Jones's monotone deliverly. Piper will be able to handle a match of this calibre.
Jones: A fourth thing. If either Harry Harris or Jerry Lynn lay one hand on each other outside a sanctioned wrestling match, they will be stripped of any titles they hold and suspended for a period of ninety days. Not only that but the contract for this champion vs champion match at StarClash will be voided on the spot. That is all gentlemen.
Jerry Lynn takes the microphone.
Lynn: You really thing you can intimidate me with all your little stipulations but guess what, I will sign the contract no matter what. I know that I am going to walk out with the NAWA World Title Belt and any of your little stipulations are not going to stop me come December 21st. Put the International Title on the line. Make the match No Holds Barred, sentencing Harry Harris to death by the way! Bring in an old fossil as the special guest referee. Make a no physicality stipulation but after Starclash, we will see who is the first wrestler to hold both the International and World Title belts at the same time. Give me a pen so I can make the title match that I should have gotten a long time ago official. This is nearly two years in the making and I will not be denied. Not this time, Steamboat.
One of the lawyers hands Lynn a pen and Lynn signs the contract making the match official on his end.
Lynn: I suppose you want to say a few words now, Harris.
Lynn rolls the microphone down the table and Harris grabs it.
Harris: I'll let my actions in the ring both later tonight in the tag team main event and at StarClash do the talking Lynn!
Harris takes a pen and signs the contract. Steamboat is handed the contract and he signs it. Now the match is officially on, no turning back now. Harris and Lynn share a staredown but all they can do outside of a sanctioned wrestling match is glare at each other. They back off as we fade out to the backstage area.
Backstage:
Teddy Hart is standing by backstage looking in a hurry to leave the arena. Teddy Hart is out the door and CM Punk is running right behind him.
Punk: Hart, come back here and fight like a man! Once I get my hands on you, I am going to finish you off for good this time.
Punk goes to the backstage area but Teddy Hart is in a car and it drives off. Punk doesn't look too happy.
Punk: Next time, Teddy Hart! Next time, I will get my hands on you.
With those words, we fade back to the arena.
