NAWA Glory 2/10/05
Teddy Hart is out at the top of the program with a piece of paper on a scroll. Hart enters the ring and calls for the microphone. He receives one, before talking about how over the past two years in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, he's defeated many of the top stars to ever come through the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Hart ticks them off one by one, he's beaten CM Punk, Raven, Miles Stylish, AJ Styles, Ron Waterman, Jerry Lynn, Tony Mamaluke, Christopher Daniels, and last but certainly not least, the current NAWA World Champion Harry Harris. Hart adds that he's had the longest title reign in the history of the New Age Wrestling Alliance when he reigned as NAWA Cruiserweight champion for thirteen months but one thing is missing from his list of achievements. That is of course the NAWA World Championship, the most pretigious title in wrestling today. At Blinded by Fury in three days time, Teddy Hart will climb to the top of the mountain, pinning Harry Harris in the center of the ring, and prove all the doubters wrong, that he does belong at the top of the mountain, as the New Age Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Champion!
"Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins kicks up and crowd cheers as out comes the NAWA World Champion Harry Harris, with a bit of a limp, as he has the belt draped over his shoulder. Harris remarks that Teddy Hart has an impressive record and just to remind us, Harris wishes to see what happened at Luck of the Draw. Up on the NAWA vision, we see Hart attacking the leg of Harris with a running chop block, taking him out. Every minute since that attack, Harris has been thinking about getting some revenge on Teddy Hart and Hart invites Harris into the ring, but out comes NAWA Commissioner New Jack and security, to avert a potentional crisis before it begins. New Jack yells that they aren't going to go up against each other until Blinded by Fury and Harris says he's fine by that, he can wait three more days. Hart grabs the microphone and says that time is all Harris has left to become NAWA World Champion. Tonight, it will be Harry Harris and Ron Waterman squaring off against Miles Stylish and Scott Steiner, to preserve the NAWA World Title match between Hart and Harris for this Sunday at Blinded by Fury. With that we fade out to a

Only Blinded by Fury holds the key, as Hart lays the NAWA World Title down on the body of Harris, before walking to the back. We understand Scott Steiner and Ron Waterman are tearing up the back with their brawl, but we only have enough time to go to this prerecorded message from Jerry Lynn regarding his NAWA International Title Match with former stable mate Miles Stylish. Let's go to that, see you this Sunday!
Jerry Lynn sits in a dark room before he looks up at the camera.
Lynn: Two years ago, I went on a scouting trip as a representive of the New Age Wrestling Alliance and on an independent show, I saw a young man who impressed me. He showed me something, he showed me the fire, the determination, the will to be the best. There have been so many men throughout the history of wrestling, who the experts have said had "it" but they were really just a flash in the pan, with a few memorable moments that faded over time. I've seen young prospects come and young prospects go through my time, but none had that x-factor, who had "it" more than Miles Stylish. On that card, there were a bunch of ill equipped young men, who just quite frankly saw wrestling as a means to achieve a paycheck, to scrap by week to week in an effort to feed their families. Miles Stylish stood out above the rest, wrestling wasn't just merely a career for him, wrestling was in fact his life. He lived and breathed the entire profession, obsessed with becoming the best.
Lynn paused for a moment.
Lynn: I went back to the NAWA office, recommended Stylish to them and a few weeks later, he was signed to a contract, where he cemented himself as one of the most talented wrestlers in the company. A young man who I took under my wing after some time, to ensure that he did not fall under the same temptations that derailed many young careers. When I decided to form the Triumvirate, Miles Stylish was the obvious choice to be a member. He had the hunger to succeed beyond anything else I've seen. Stylish, Warrior, and myself ran over everyone who stood our way, gaining a fair bit of gold along the way. Then, Stylish attacked me, his need for glory becoming even more than the Triumvirate could offer, and he put me on the shelf. However, Stylish, you made just one rookie mistake, on that night, you didn't finish the job you started, to end my career.
Lynn took a deep breath, letting those words sink in.
Lynn: I'm not going to boast about my exploits but between now and Sunday, I do hope you watch some of my matches on DVD. I hope you scout me well and you scout me good, to know me as well as you know yourself because I want you at your very best Miles Stylish. I want one hundred percent Stylish, nothing less because that's how I want to beat you. At your best.
Lynn's determined face is shown for ten seconds as we fade to black.
