NAWA Glory 3/17/05

Footage is shown from two days ago, the closing moments of the Miles Stylish/Jerry Lynn match, to determine the man who will face off against Ron Waterman for the vacant NAWA World Championship at Reality Check.

Tonight, Jerry Lynn and Ron Waterman will square off against Tony Mamaluke and Miles Stylish, the NAWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line in a fatal four way match, featuring Raven and Teddy Hart defending the titles against the Archangels of Anarchy, Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley, and the Rottweilers, and much more tonight on Glory.

"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes Miles Stylish, who is wearing a three piece suit as he makes his way down to the ring, rolling into the ring before he grabs the microphone to address the crowd. Two days ago, Miles Stylish defeated Bryan Danielson, he defeated Raven, and he defeated Jerry Lynn in the third three rounds of the tournament to crown a new NAWA World Champion. These three men had something all in common and that was they held championship gold, yet Stylish beat them. This Sunday at Reality Check, Stylish remarks that he's going to go for the richest prize in the game, the one thing that's eluded him, and that would be the NAWA World Championship.

Stylish grows serious and says that his opponent this Sunday is Ron Waterman, a man that Stylish has stepped up against several times before. Many have called Waterman, "Stylish's white whale", as the fact remains that despite all of their meetings, Stylish has never beat Ron Waterman in the center of the ring. Stylish admits this but this Sunday, he'll not be denied. The New Age Wrestling Alliance may have lost their long awaited Ron Waterman and Harry Harris match, but they gain a bigger, money drawing attraction, that being the beginning of the Miles Stylish Revolution, when his glorious reign as NAWA World Champion this Sunday begins with a victory over perhaps one of the most dominant forces in this company, Ron Waterman.

"Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees plays and out comes Tony Mamaluke to boos from the fans. Mamaluke rolls into the ring, reminding Stylish that if Mamaluke didn't interfere, Lynn would have beaten him. So, the least Stylish can do is, should he win the NAWA World Championship, he give Mamaluke the first title match, in the center of the ring, next week on Glory. Stylish accepts the challenge, remarking that beating Mamaluke should be no problem, especially after Stylish beats Waterman, who is someone who has whipped Mamaluke's ass on a regular basis. This causes Mamaluke to freak out, saying that give him one more match against Ron Waterman and this time he can beat him, talking about how his mysterious new agent has found a weakness in Waterman that he can exploit for victory. Stylish snickers at this before adding that Mamaluke better hold up his end in the tag team main event tonight. Mamaluke says that he will and he'll see Stylish in the ring next week for the NAWA World Championship. The announcers speculate that both men may be getting ahead of themselves, as Miles Stylish has a helluva a mountain to climb, in Ron Waterman, before he can become the NAWA World Champion. That match headlines Reality Check, in three days, only on Pay Per View, in addition to Tony Mamaluke's challenge for the NAWA International Championship against Jerry Lynn. Tonight, those two matches will combine for our tag team main event.

Big Poppa Pump enters the ring but RAPMASTER KILLINGS RUSHES DOWN FROM THE BACK! The crowd cheers as the Rapmaster comes out and Steiner attempts to whack him with the pipe, but Killings ducks it and dropkicks Scott Steiner down. Steiner is up and Killings does the splits, before he knocks Scott Steiner to the floor with a leaping leg lariat. Steiner is up and kicks the ring steps in frustration, as the Rapmaster raises the roof in the ring, having saved Chuck Palumbo from being severely injured by that pipe. Then, Desdomia stopped Smokes from distracting the referee which caused him to see Homicide blast Bentley with the blackjack, throwing the Rottweilers out of the match for the disqualification. Everything paid off and no doubt many teams will be out for the blood of the Archangels of Anarchy after the events of tonight.

An added stipulation has been added to the CM Punk and Christopher Daniels against Raven and Teddy Hart match at Reality Check. It will now be a Stairway to Hell Match. The rules to this match are as follows, as laid down by NAWA Commissioner New Jack. Two singapore canes will be suspended high above the ring and the only way to retrieve them is by climbing a Ladder. The match can't end until both of the canes have been retrieved and the only way to do so after that is by pinfall or submission. You've got to believe that Teddy Hart wants to introduce one of those canes right to the skull of CM Punk after what happened tonight but Raven is also looking for the blood of Daniels and Punk after that beatdown two days ago as well. Reality Check, CM Punk and Christopher Daniels against Raven and Teddy Hart in a Stairway to Hell Match!

Candace Sweet is in the ring and the crowd is already booing, they know what's going to happen. She announces the greatest entertainer in the world today, the man who is the personification of entertainment, and the New Age Wrestling Alliance World Television Champion, Sedrick Skyhawk. Cue the overblown entrance and out comes Sedrick Skyhawk, with his bodyguard Bruno, who glares menacingly, as Skyhawk enters the ring, calling for the microphone. Skyhawk remarks that sadly he failed to advance forward into the tournament to become NAWA World Champion, but the career of Sedrick Skyhawk will only rise higher, as he's hired a new legal representative to head up Sedrick Skyhawk Enterprises, in addition to his publicist and bodyguard.

"I Fought the Law and the Law Won" brings out Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law, along with the world's best argument against Affirmative Action, Mr. Fernando. Ricardo enters the ring, saying that he can't say it's great to be back, in front of all these rednecks, which draws boos. Ricardo says that months ago, his wrestling career was tragically cut short, the best years of his life cut short, but he's devoted his life to his law firm. It just so happens that his newest client as the NAWA Television Champion Sedrick Skyhawk and Ricardo will make sure that no one screws him over. Otherwise, he'll see them in court. Meanwhile, Mr. Fernando is trying to hit on Candace in the background, much to her absolute mortification.

Out comes Alex Shelley who was Sedrick Skyhawk's scheduled opponent tonight on Glory. Shelley says that he's here to wrestle in a non title match but Ricardo cuts Shelley a deal. If Shelley forfeits the match, then Ricardo will get him a title shot and not just a mere shot at the Television Title, but a shot at the NAWA World Title! Shelley is intrigued by this proposition, but asks why he should trust Ricardo after last time. He made big promises before and Shelley was stuck wrestling curtain jerking comedy matches against Twizted Youth and El Dandy. While he doesn't doubt El Dandy by any means, Shelley says that he wanted a bigger picture. That's why he broke away from Ricardo and if he forfeits a chance to become NAWA Television Champion, for an uncertain promise to become NAWA World Champion, he doesn't think that's a good career move.

Out comes Shawn Stasiak, the man who will be squaring off against Sedrick Skyhawk this Sunday for the NAWA Television Title. Stasiak commends Shelley on his decision to not cave into Ricardo's demands, commenting that Shelley might not have won the championship anyway. This looks to upset Shelley, as he takes it as Stasiak saying he's not good enough. Stasiak turns his attention to Skyhawk, saying he beat him before and Reality Check, he'll beat him again. ALEX SHELLEY ATTACKS SHAWN STASIAK FROM BEHIND! The crowd explodes into boos, as Alex Shelley and Sedrick Skyhawk beatdown Shawn Stasiak in the cneter of the ring, with Ricardo calling the shots. Stasiak tries to fight him off, but Bruno hits Stasiak from behind. Brush With Greatness and Skyhawk holds up the NAWA World Television Title Belt, as Ricardo looks pleased, as Shelley says he changes his mind but Ricardo will pay if he doesn't get Shelley his NAWA World Title Shot. Ricardo says that Shelley can trust him as far as "Ron Waterman can throw Mr. Fernando". The announcers wonder exactly how Ricardo is going to get Shelley an NAWA World Title Shot but predict "some sleazy and under handed legal trick".
