NAWA Glory 4/7/05
Tonight: The Archangels of Anarchy and the Rottweilers split up for two singles matches, when Homicide faces Armageddon and Low Ki squares off against Destruction. Also, Raven and Teddy Hart team up to face off againsst CM Punk and Scott Steiner, Rapmaster Killings and AJ Styles facing off against Bryan Danielson and Sedrick Skyhawk, and more!
Larry Sweeney and Tony Mamaluke make their way down to the ring, with Mamaluke having the NAWA International Title belt over his shoulder. Sweeney walks over, yelling for a microphone, and he gets one, before he enters the ring. Mamaluke stands in the background while Sweeney cuts a promo, saying that New Jack does not know how to properly utilize talent, declaring that Mamaluke is the franchise player of the company. Sweeney says he'll hold up the entire show tonight, no matches will take place, until Mamaluke receives an NAWA World Title Shot tonight on Glory.
"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and the crowd gives several boos as Miles Stylish walks down to the ring, sliding into the ring, with a microphone of his own. Stylish looks amused with Sweeney's challenge, citing the number of times he's beaten Tony Mamaluke in the past. Sweeney argues that Tony Mamaluke is the future of the company, the top number one talent, and Stylish is ducking him. Stylish removes his jacket and it appears that Mamaluke and Stylish are going to face off, but out comes NAWA Commissioner New Jack along with security. They roll into the ring, going between Mamaluke and Stylish.
New Jack says that Sweeney's only been here for two weeks and all he's done was stir up shit. The Commissioner remarks that he's pissed off that everyone is bitching and moaning "like a bunch of women on the rag". Therefore, New Jack announces that tonight on Glory, Tony Mamaluke and Miles Stylish will compete tonight...on opposing teams. That's right and further more, it will be Wildfire opponents teaming up with each other, as Tony Mamaluke and Ron Waterman square off against Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn. Mamaluke and Sweeney protest this, but New Jack remarks he's spoken and if anyone attacks their partner during the match, they will either be stripped of their title or their titles shot. Security leads off Mamaluke, Sweeney, and Stylish as the announcers hype up that big tag team main event.
