NAWA Glory 6/23/05
Out comes Larry Sweeney to boos from the crowd along with Ron Killings and Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke walks down to the ring with the NAWA International Title Belt strapped around his waist. Sweeney enters the ring with a microphone in his hand. He says last night Ron Waterman got lucky and now he's in the main event of WrestleClash IV to challenge for the NAWA World Championship. That should have been Tony Mamaluke's night, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut occassionally. No matter who wins, between Waterman and Stylish, Tony Mamaluke is challenging the winner a match on the eighteenth of August, the NAWA Glory after WrestleClash IV. The crowd explodes into boos, not wanting to see Mamaluke get a title shot. Sweeney also puts over Ron Killings's victory over AJ Styles and about Killings whipping the hide off of AJ Styles.
Finally, Sweeney says last night, he finalized a deal for one of the greatest wrestlers in the NAWA. While things did not go as planned at Night of the Rogues, he still helped Tony Mamaluke take Raven out. Ladies and Gentlemen, the newest client of Larry Sweeney, CM Punk. The crowd explodes into loud boos as "A Call for Blood" by Hatebreed and CM Punk comes down to the ring, with a smug expression on his face. Punk enters the ring and says it is only fitting that the world's greatest agent, Larry Sweeney is the manager of such a great talent like CM Punk. Punk says it is with Sweeney's help that he would be able to gain one of the greatest deals of his career, that will catapult him to the top of the wrestling world. However, the fans are going to have to wait a couple more weeks to find out, as Punk says everything's not finalized yet.
"CAW, CAW, CAW"
"Come Out and Play" by the Offspring plays and out comes Raven to cheers from the fans. Raven gets on the microphone, talking about how last night, Punk, Mamaluke, and Sweeney conspired to screw him out of the number one contenders slot. Raven challenges Punk to a one on one match tonight. Punk responds by laughing, saying that Raven can't be serious. Raven's lost time and time again to CM Punk and he wants to come back for more. Punk says that it's a joke, he should be facing Miles Stylish for the NAWA World Championship, beating him, going onto to WrestleClash IV to beat Ron Waterman, and then having the greatest match the fans will ever see with Tony Mamaluke, not waste his time with a never-was like Raven. So Punk is going to have to decline beating Raven again.
"Natural Born Killerz" kicks out and out comes the NAWA Commissioner New Jack. The Commissioner comes out, saying that Punk and Mamaluke must have been pretty proud of themselves, screwing with his six way match. Mamaluke remarks it was no disqualification but New Jack tells him to shut up. New Jack orders CM Punk against Raven one on one tonight. The crowd explodes into cheers at this and Punk is spazzing out in the ring. And he was just reminded that Mamaluke hasn't defended that NAWA International Title Belt in a while, so tonight, he's going to defend that belt against the former four time champion Jerry Lynn! Sweeney goes ballastic as New Jack says it's time for some bitches to be put in their places tonight. Killings thinks he can whip people with a strap, well we'll see how he likes it when is the one who gets whipped, when Ron Killings squares off against Ron Waterman tonight in the main event! Sweeney is pissed that his three men have big time matches tonight.
