"In the End" by Linkin Park plays and out comes Jerry Lynn dressed in street clothes, with a microphone. He was scheduled to team up with AJ Styles to take on the team of Tony Mamaluke and Ron Killings momentarily, what's this all about. Lynn slides into the ring, looking in the ring, before getting on the microphone. Last week, he lost to Tony Mamaluke. Yet again. It seems like recently, he has done nothing but lose, except for that one fleeting moment when he beat Miles Stylish, he has lost time and time again. He lost to the NAWA International Title to Tony Mamaluke. He lost to Miles Stylish in the sixty minute iron match at Wildfire. He lost to Ron Waterman in the Gold Rush Tournament. He failed to beat Sederick Skyhawk. He lost to CM Punk two weeks ago. He failed to become the number one contender for WrestleClash IV and yes, he lost to Tony Mamaluke last week, again.

The thing he's saying is that he's losing a lot of matches that he should have won, so it is with a heavy heart that he is retiring from wrestling. The crowd boos but Lynn waves them off, saying that if he can't be a championship level competitor, he shouldn't be in the ring in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, taking away a spot from some young wrestler who deserves it more. He apologizes to AJ Styles, who no doubt looked forward to tonight, but he needs to find a new tag team partner to take on Tony Mamaluke and Ron Killings. Lynn says he's done before he drops the microphone and walks off. The crowd is booing, heckling Jerry Lynn, who walks off. He's been in a bit of a slump lately and now he's retiring? Lynn keeps walking to the back and doesn't even turn back.

Backstage:

Lynn is walking backstage where AJ Styles walks in front of him, asking him they agreed to team up to take out Sweeney's men tonight. Yes, they did, agreed Lynn but he would only let him down. A voice says "pathetic" and in walks the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Bryan Danielson, who looks at Lynn with disgust. He says he used to respect Lynn has one of the greatest wrestlers in the world but now he wouldn't even spit in his direction if he was on fire. Danielson remarks Lynn makes him sick. He gave up after losing a few matches. Danielson turns to Styles, saying they have had their problems in the past but tonight against Killings and Mamaluke, Styles can count on him, which is more than it could be said about some people AJ Styles agrees as Lynn stares down at Danielson for a moment, before he turns walks off. For a second, it looked like Lynn might have reconsidered his retirement but he walks off into the night.

Coming up next: Looks to be AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson teaming up to face off against Tony Mamaluke and Ron Killings now.

The referee stops the match, awarding it to Ron Waterman.

Ron Waterman defeated Johnny Excalibur when Johnny Excalibur passed out in the Kati-Hajime in 0:01:54. Rating: **

Excalibur is kicked to the outside and Waterman goes for the microphone. Waterman has the microphone, saying that he normally lets his actions in the ring speak for himself but last week Miles Stylish and CM Punk tried to take him out. He'll deal with Punk soon enough but he is calling out Miles Stylish tonight. "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes Miles Stylish dressed in a suit jacket, dress pants, and a "Miles Stylish: Excellence Personified" shirt. He is on the ramp with a microphone, saying that WrestleClash IV is going to be the biggest night in the career of Miles Stylish. He could really care less who he's putting the belt on the line against whether it's Punk, Waterman, or Twizted Youth, the result will be the same, that being Stylish will walk into WrestleClash IV as the champion and walk out still the champion.

He looks at Waterman. Stylish admits that Waterman may perhaps be the second best wrestler in the NAWA. However, there is no one better walking this earth today at Miles Stylish. While he did scheme with Punk last week to take out Waterman, it didn't work, even though if Stylish really wanted to take out Waterman, he would be in traction right now. The fact remains, people were talking all over the world, he's heard the mutterings in every arena in the world. Miles Stylish would not have been NAWA World Champion, he would have have beaten Ron Waterman for that vacated title, if Tony Mamaluke had not interfered. Stylish heard it, it has haunted him since he has won the NAWA World Title and even though he cut a deal with Punk, it was strictly business. He never guarenteed Punk would get the title shot, only if Waterman was taken out and since he wasn't, the title match is still on.

The point is that, the wrestling world thinks that Miles Stylish, one on one, in a fair match, couldn't beat Ron Waterman without any interference. They are counting down the days where Ron Waterman reigns on top of the New Age Wrestling Alliance with an iron fist, where the Miles Stylish era comes crashing around. However, Stylish says that WrestleClash IV will be his greatest triumph. He will pin Ron Waterman in the center of the ring one, two, three, cleanly, without any help and leave no doubt who the greatest wrestler in the New Age Wrestling Alliance today is. The times that Waterman has been pinned or forced to submit can be counted on one hand. Each and every time Waterman lost, it wasn't without controversy. There will be no controversy at WrestleClash IV, Stylish will beat Waterman, in the center, leaving no room for speculation. Stylish is the best and WrestleClash IV will prove it.

Waterman gets on the microphone, calmly stating that Stylish can talk the talk, but at WrestleClash IV, the NAWA World Title Belt is coming back around his waist. He has gone nearly a near without the gold, but WrestleClash IV will change that. Stylish just walks off as Waterman remains in the ring. A storied history between these two men as Miles Stylish defends his NAWA World Champion against Ron Waterman. Last year, Waterman lost the belt to the Dark Warrior. Can he regain it at the same event? We'll find out. Order now, August 14th 2005 only on New Age Wrestling Alliance Pay Per View!

Hart raises his hand in the air to cheers from the crowd. Last year at WrestleClash IV, Hart lost to Tony Mamaluke, ending his thirteen month title reign as NAWA Cruiserweight Champion.
