NAWA Glory 8/10/05
TONIGHT: Six man tag team match with Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley, and the Gambler squaring off against Scott Steiner, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe. Also, Miles Stylish puts the NAWA World Title on the line against Low-Ki and AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn team up to take on Tony Mamaluke and Ron Killings.
We cut to a gym where CM Punk is standing by for a prerecorded promo. He is not in the arena tonight, because he refuses to step one foot into the hovel that the NAWA is performing in tonight. Rather he has a few comments. This Sunday will be his last match in the company. He will face off against a man who he has defeated many times before, that man being Raven. It's an I-Quit Match, which Punk triumphed over against AJ Styles one year ago. Punk will step into the ring with Raven. Raven has been called the franchise of the NAWA by the misguided masses. Well if Raven is the franchise, then it just shows how inadqueate this company is. However, Punk could care less as he will be leaving after this Sunday and will be leaving the victor.
I-Quit Match, is right up Punk's street. He beat AJ Styles last year and he has the most deadly submission move in the history of wrestling, that no one has escaped. The Anaconda Vice, you can count the names it's put down. Including the fan's beloved hero Raven. The same thing will happen at WrestleClash IV, Raven will scream those words on the microphone, as a final triumph to close out his career in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. It will be the end of Raven, as Punk promises to cripple Raven, just like he crippled Harry Harris. Punk says Raven wanted it and now he is going to get more than he bargained for. "Quoth CM Punk, straight edge means I'm better than you".
We head back to the arena for the next match.

Raven releases the hold after the bell and calls for the microphone. He receives it, before going into talking about WrestleClash IV. He admits that over the past several months, each and every time he has fought CM Punk, Raven came out on the losing end of the match. However, in three days time, at WrestleClash IV, he will face off against CM Punk in an I-Quit Match. Raven remarks that Punk does have the perfect weapon for that match, but Raven could care less. He'll have to kill Raven before he submits to the Anaconda Vice willingly, as we are reminded that last time, Punk had to knock out Raven with a chair before slapping the hold on him for the knockout. Still, Raven will beat Punk, until he gives up. He will end him up to the enemy, with more scars and more broken bones. Punk will pay the price for stabbing the entire company in the back, by going to the competition. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

Jerry Lynn is backstage, lacing up his boots when AJ Styles walks up to him. Styles asks if Lynn is ready for tonight, as last time they were supposed to have this match, Lynn decided to retire. The Gambler steps back, dropping the chair. He dropped Joe, finally, and this time the Samoan Submission Machine doesn't look like he's getting up to his feet. The Gambler leaves the ring, with the NAWA Television Title Belt. This Sunday, he will face Samoa Joe on Pay Per View and unfortunately, he won't be allowed to use the chair, as titles can change hands in the New Age Wrestling Alliance on a countout or a disqualification. Wait, Joe is managing to sit up, there is blood dripping from his forehead, as he looks up at the Gambler with a completely murderous look on his face. By injuring the monster, I think the Gambler only served him to make him angry. How in the hell can the Gambler not only beat Joe, but survive their match for the NAWA Television Championship at WrestleClash IV?
Right now, we have some prerecorded comments with the number one contender for the NAWA World Championship, Ron Waterman, as he prepares for his chance to regain the NAWA World Championship against Miles Stylish this Sunday at WrestleClash IV. Let's head there right now.
Waterman is standing by, saying he is a man of few words, but many actions. Over the past year, he had to live with the fact that he was not NAWA World Champion. He was sidetracked in pointless business with the likes of the Archangels of Anarchy, Teddy Hart, and Tony Mamaluke. Yet, finally, he won the Luck of the Draw and become the number one contender to the NAWA World Title, poised to defeat Harry Harris and get the belt back. We all know what happened with Harris, he suffered a horrific neck injury. Then at Reality Check, he had Miles Stylish in the ring, a man who he has triumped over countless times before, in the ring, one on one, where the winner would capture the vacated NAWA World Title. Waterman lost thanks to Mamaluke and Sweeney, sidetracking him for several months.
Night of the Rogues happened and Waterman once again bulldozed the competition. Over the past two months, Waterman has crushed the likes of Sederick Skyhawk, Bryan Danielson, and Tony Mamaluke, on his road for a chance to be NAWA World Champion. He hears Stylish, talking about how he has to win the match and it's funny, Waterman feels the same way. However, WrestleClash IV has come and Waterman promises there will be a new NAWA World Champion. We fade out on Waterman's intense face. See you for WrestleClash IV, this Sunday, only on Pay Per View!
