In the Commissioner's Office:
Commissioner Steamboat is sitting at his desk and filing paper work when Miles Stylish enters the office.
Stylish: Steamboat, I looked at the booking sheets tonight and there seems to be a slight mistake you have made. I don't have my title shot tonight against Harry Harris.
Steamboat: I could have swore that you had your chance last week and you blew it, Stylish.
Stylish: You are surely mistaken Steamboat. I won that number one contenders shot and it stipulated a free, clean, and one on one NAWA World Title Shot. Shane Douglas interfered and thus I should be getting a fair crack at the gold this week.
Steamboat: Maybe my eyes were deceiving me but it appeared to me that Harry Harris had you pinned right in the center of the ring. Shane Douglas cost Harry Harris the chance to pin you in the center of the ring...
Stylish: Listen to me you substandard Commissioner. I want an NAWA World Title shot and I want it tonight.
Steamboat: Substandard am I, Stylish. Well let me just raise the standard of my shows a little bit. You have a match at Truth or Consequences. If you win this match, you get another shot at the NAWA World Title.
Stylish: Fine, it is obvious that the NAWA is going to protect their golden boy. I will climb over another mountain and win this match, and then I will win the NAWA World Title.
Stylish starts walking out of the office but before he reaches the doorway.
Steamboat: By the way, Stylish, you have to beat Ron Waterman at Truth or Consequences to earn this title shot.
Stylish cringes and turns around. He gets in Steamboat's face.
Stylish: Is this supposed to scare me Steamboat? Well, Waterman is going down. His undefeated streak will be torn down like a bodybuilder tearing tissue paper. He has never fought anyone on my level and I will prove that he is beatable by someone with my vast wrestling skills.
Stylish storms out of the office as we fade to the ring, as both tag teams for the first match this evening are already in the ring.

Now we have some prerecorded comments that were taken after last week's show from the NAWA World Champion Harry Harris.
Harris: Being the NAWA World Champion is like having a big bullseye on my back. Everyone wants a crack at what I have. Shane Douglas just so happened to strike first and thus he is going to face me at Truth or Consequences. Shane has won one and I won one, so we are pretty even in terms of big time Pay Per View matches. The thing that really burns me up inside is that he took out the person who should have gotten the title shot, the first who had the rematch clause. Now Raven will probally be on the shelf for a couple of months with a cracked elbow as a result of what the Franchise did. Douglas, you are playing a dangerous game. You are not going to get the drop on me and I am going to prove you why I won the NAWA World Title Belt. Truth or Consequences, Franchise, you will be silenced once and for all, right in the center of the ring.
With those words we fade back to the arena.
The Backyard Dudes are standing in the ring and F.R.E.D has the microphone. Once again this should be painful. Thankfully, "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J plays and Rapmaster Killings makes his way out before F.R.E.D. can say anything. Killings puts a microphone up to his face.
Killings: The Rapmaster must have committed some sins in a past life to be forced to be teamed up with these two punks This situation stinks like a pair of mother fucking skunks Well to get my hands on Jerry Lynn that mother fucking cracka I would be a fucking immigrant tracker Tonight, the beatdown the Rapmaster will give is high class And those three jive ass crackas Jerry Lynn, Shawn Stasiak, and Mike Sanders can kiss my mother fucking ass
"Too Sexy" plays and out comes Shawn Stasiak and Mike Sanders. The crowd heckles them big time as they lost to the Backyard Dudes back at WrestleClash II and they will face the Backyard Dudes again in a little under three weeks at Truth or Consequences.

Jeff Jarrett is standing backstage when Norman Smiley confronts him.
Smiley: Why did you do it? Hitting Christopher Daniels with a chair. You could have won on your own merits but you had to taint the victory by cheating. At least if you lost, you knew that...
Jarrett: Norman, let me ask you something. If Daniels had the chair in his hand, would he hesistate for one second to hit me? I just happened to strike him down before he can cheat against me.
Norman: I don't know. If it was this one time, I wouldn't have brought it up. Last week you used brass knuckles against CM Punk...
Jarrett: Which wouldn't have happened if Punk didn't take out the knuckles and attempt to use them on me.
Norman: You used the ropes to beat D'Lo Brown at Night of the Rogues...
Jarrett: My feet were accidentally barely draped over the ropes and I get called out of it. Even if I was doing it, do you think D'Lo Brown, CM Punk, and Christopher Daniels would not do the same thing if they were given the chance.
Norman: It is not honorable...
Jarrett: So getting my ass kicked is the honorable thing to do. Thank you Norman Smiley for reminding me why you never won the NAWA World Title. I suppose that you think it was also right that Disco Inferno made us defend the Tag Team Title belts against four teams of his henchmen inside a steel cage, after we already defended the belts that night and three days before the biggest match of our lives.
Norman doesn't respond. He looks to be seriously thinking about the point Jeff Jarrett is making.
Jarrett: Was that the honorable thing to do, Norman? Honor has nothing to do in wrestling. Honor doesn't matter in wrestling. It is about winning. We still haven't gotten a rematch at the NAWA Tag Team Titles. Honor be damned. Your head isn't in wrestling Norman and you may be the NAWA International Champion but what will happen when someone corners you with a chair. What will you do? How far will honor get you? As far as I'm concerned, no one is getting punished if the people who will attack us illegally first are the ones being cheated out of victory.
Jarrett storms out of the dressing room and Norman looks like he might be believing that what Jarrett said might be the truth.
