NAWA Glory 10/6/05

NAWA Commissioner New Jack is in his office, recapping the events of both the number one contenders match and the NAWA World Title Match. As a result both Raven and NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish have been put on the shelf. New Jack says while he's not too happy about Jerry Lynn did, it was in the context of an actual one on one wrestling match. He slammed a glass bottle over Raven's head and the referee didn't see it. Lynn stopped there and while New Jack would like to punish Lynn, legally he can't. Lynn will receive his NAWA World Championship Match as stipulated by the outcome of the match.

However, what the Archangels of Anarchy did to Miles Stylish, that crossed lines. It would be one thing if Daniels stopped with the fireball to the face but he continued, calling in Armageddon, Destruction, Scott Steiner, and Desdomia, brutalizing Miles Stylish, including ramming a metal spike right into his head. Stylish was in and out of a coma since last Sunday and he has a severe concussion and a cracked skull, just awakening for more than a few mintues just this Afternoon. Right now, Stylish is the NAWA World Champion and will remain the champion for the next thirty days. If he doesn't recover enough to defend the NAWA World Title against Jerry Lynn by November 6th at Truth or Consequences, he will be stripped of the title and it will be put up in a tournament, where Lynn gets a bye to the finals, based on the precedent established by the Harry Harris title vacacy where the number one contender goes straight through to the finals.

One thing, Daniels better hope Stylish recovers, because if he doesn't, than Daniels will not be in the tournament. In fact, all of the Archangels of Anarchy will be banned from receiving title shots for the rest of 2005 and all of 2006, should Stylish be hurt enough for the NAWA World Title to be vacated. They will be banned from competing in the Gold Rush Tournament, the Luck of the Draw, and the Unholy Alliances for 2006. Not only that but they are banned from the building for this week and they will have to work without pay for the rest of 2005. New Jack says this is just the beginning and he won't hesistate to take matters into his own hands next time.

The card for tonight was supposed to be Stylish and Lynn for the NAWA World Title, Teddy Hart putting the NAWA International Title on the line against Scott Steiner, Christopher Daniels against the Gambler, Raven taking on Samoa Joe for the NAWA Television Title, and the Archangels of Anarchy against the Rottweilers. However, that will be changed tonight and the line up is still up in the air, and is being changed. The fans will be kept posted.

Tonight: The show is up in the air. We do know that Sederick Skyhawk will face off against Chris Sabin and Tony Mamaluke will be in action against Chuck Palumbo. Other than that, you have to stay tuned.

"In the End" by Linkin Park plays and the crowd is booing as out comes Jerry Lynn. Last Sunday, Lynn put Raven on the shelf when he become the number one contender for the NAWA World Title. Lynn gets on the microphone, talking about how it was supposed to be his moment of triumph, how he was supposed to become the NAWA World Champion but when Stylish was taken out by the Archangels, he was screwed out of his moment of glory. He says that he worked hard, beating Raven, one, two, three in the center of the ring. He was going to beat Stylish tonight but Daniels and the rest took that moment away from him. Now that New Jack has banned them from the building, Lynn is throwing out an open challenge to anyone in the back.

"Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi plays and the crowd cheers as Teddy Hart comes out, with his newly won NAWA International Title draped over his shoulder. Hart says last Sunday, Lynn could have ended Raven's career, Raven got glass in right eye. Lynn just responds that he doesn't give a damn about Raven and he says if Hart wants to do something about it, he can put up the NAWA International Title on the line tonight on Glory. Hart accepts, saying that he beat Mamaluke, the person that beat Lynn for the NAWA International Title. Lynn's face contorts into a scowl, before he looks at Hart, saying that Hart is a flash in the pan champion, a dime a dozen independent wrestler, and Lynn is the single greatest technical wrestler in NAWA history. Lynn will put Hart out. The crowd is cheering and it looks like we have a main event tonight.
