NAWA Glory 10/30/03

Last night on NAWA Pay Per View: Harry Harris remained NAWA World Champion after pinning Jeff Jarrett despite interference and a loss of blood. Also Jerry Lynn is the brand new NAWA International Champion beating Norman Smiley.

We are live from Tacoma Washington. TONIGHT: Raven will face Harry Harris for the NAWA World Title in what should be the biggest match in the entire history of this program, also Shawn Stasiak and Mike Sanders will defend their NAWA Tag Team Titles against Norman Smiley and Jeff Jarrett, and the newly crowned NAWA International Champion Jerry Lynn will face Michael Shane in a non-title match. All this and much more.

"So Why Don't You Choke on That Slapnuts"

"Cowboy" by Kid Rock plays and out comes Jeff Jarrett and Jarrett does not look too happy. Jarrett enters the ring and calls for the microphone.

Jarrett: Listen up, SHUT UP SLAPNUTS. Last night, I was screwed out of the NAWA World Title. MAtt Harms, screwed me out of my rightful title and I am not leaving this ring until Harry Harris is stripped of the title and the belt comes to me.

Jarrett waits in the ring before "In the Dragon's Lair" plays and out comes Commissioner Steamboat to cheers. Steamboat enters the ring and grabs the microphone.

Steamboat: You think the belt should be handed to you, Jarrett? Last night you were pinned in the center of the ring and the owner of the New Age Wrestling Alliance made the final pinfall in that match. And that brings me to another matter. Tell your buddy Vince Russo that he has been fined five thousand dollars for assaulting the owner of the NAWA and he should be lucky that he is not looking for a job.

Jarrett: Steamboat, from day one, the management in this company has been screwing me other. It's either been you, Disco Inferno, and now the owner of this company, someone who should be impartial, is now getting one over me. No more. Last night, I had Harry Harris pinned in the center of the ring for fifteen seconds. Last week on this program, I scored a pin on him in a tag team match. The least that this corrupt management of this company can do is give me a fair one on one NAWA World Title Shot and give it to me soon.

Steamboat: Jarrett, you are not the number one contender anymore. It will be some time before you are marked eligible for a World Title Shot at any time. You lost a big time pay per view title bid against the champion and you must go to the bottom of the rankings and....

"Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins plays and out comes Harry Harris to cheers. Harry Harris has the NAWA World Title Belt over his shoulder and his forehead bandaged up from last night. Harris enters the ring and grabs the microphone from Steamboat.

Harris: Jarrett, I knew you would be out here tonight. If it wasn't for the fact that I have a World Title Match tonight and I would get fined for doing so, I'd bust every one of your teeth out. Let me tell you this through. I earned this belt. Every step of the way. I proved it last night. Any other man would have passed out from the blood loss and I went nearly a half an hour with you Jeff Jarrett. Take a number, get in line. Raven is up next and I have other men who are more worthy of a shot at the belt over my shoulder than you.

Jarrett: Listen, Harris. The fact of the matter is this. YOU CAN'T BEAT ME. Last night, you only one because you got lucky.

Harris: And I suppose faking getting hit with a guitar and winning the belt by disqualification is a spectacular hard fought victory. Listen to me Jarrett. Last night, the final pinfall happened and I came out with the NAWA World Title Shot. Tonight I have to defend the World Title against Raven, who is the current number one contender. However, you do have a point. You did score a pinfall victory over me in a tag team match last week so I suppose that could earn you another shot at my belt. On one condition I will offer you a title shot.

Jarrett: I will play your demented little game, Harris. The NAWA World Title is coming back to me so name your condition.

Harris: I get to pick the stipulation for the title match. I will let you know next week because I need to think about it over the week and I have a World Title Match to focus on. See you in two weeks Jarrett, that is when your title shot will take place.

Harris leaves the ring as we fade to a commercial having this situation being taken care of.

Coming up Later Tonight: Harry Harris defends the NAWA World Title against Raven. Harris may not even make it to two weeks from now and defend his belt against Jeff Jarrett as Raven could beat him tonight. The biggest match in the history of NAWA Glory is still to come later tonight.

We see Shane Douglas walking backstage when he walks into the Gambler.

Douglas: Hey, jobber. Watch where you are going.

Gambler: Jobber? Douglas, I think you need to look in the mirror lately. When is the last time you won a match. Been a while hasn't it. You continue to spiral downwards, pretty soon, you will be curtain jerking against the Backyard Dudes and the French Revolution.

Douglas: Listen here. I AM SHANE FUCKING DOUGLAS AND A FORMER NAWA WORLD CHAMPION. I will not be talked down to by some punk who got lucky once upon of time and got some wins over some people who couldn't beat me with one hand tied behind their fucking back and the other hand fucking helping them. Yeah your biggest wins have been against losers such as Shawn Stasiak, Lenny Lane, and Disco Inferno. When you get in the ring with a real star, you get crushed like the insignificent insect you are so tread lightly around the Franchise.

Gambler: I have been hearing that song and dance a lot lately. The fact is, I've took Christopher Daniels to the limit. I took Miles Stylish to the limit. I have taken Harry Harris, the NAWA World Champion, to the limit even. I am sick of taking people to the limit. I am going to start getting wins over big time stars and you are going to be the start of that, bitch.

Douglas: You think you can beat me, Gambler. I am a dream crusher. I end careers. I run people out of this company. Randy Savage, Terry Funk, Scott Steiner, Sting, Steve Corino, Brian Lee. All these wrestlers were once in the company and I ENDED THEIR CAREERS. You cannot stop me. At the end of the day, I will be the number one wrestler in this fed and you will be back on the bottom of the card where you fucking belong. See you in the ring tonight, fucker.

Douglas walks off as the Gambler looks at his retreating back with a smirk on his face.

Raven is standing by in the darkness.

Raven: Underestimation, the undoing of men. Underestimating what the present can bring and looking too forward in the future. The present still has it's consequences, so one cannot adquently prepare for the future. I have said that it is my destiny to hold the NAWA World Title and have a reign that could be looked back on through the annals of wrestling history. That begins tonight with my match against Harry Harris. I do not underestimate Harry Harris but he is looking ahead. His vision is clouded by other things other than tonight's championship battle. He looks ahead to other challenges. Jeff Jarrett, Miles Stylish, Jerry Lynn, Norman Smiley, Ron Waterman, many men who would knock their own mother's down a flight of stairs for a shot at the championship. The one challenger that you need to worry about, Harris, is the one standing before you. The one that is speaking to you as of this moment. I am the most dangerous of them all. Welcome to the Raven Inn. Home of pain and punishment. Sorrow and Agony. Destiny shall be fulfilled. The NAWA World Title will come back home. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Welcome to the terrordome. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

Raven poses in the crucifix position before going in his usual sullen expression. With that we have to step out with a quick word from our sponsors.

Pierre is wearing the sombero and scarf of Fernado Romero Entonio Domiquez or F.R.E.D. as we people in the New Age Wrestling Alliance like to call him. He is also carrying that red blanket of F.R.E.D's, he must have swiped them from ringside last Sunday when no one was looking or no one cared to film the action or somethign like that. We look closer and we see Jacques Strap and Lord Napoleon carrying a pinata. Ricky Ricardo has a serious head injury and will not be able to compete for at least six months if ever. Pierre has the microphone as a chant of "You screw goats" comes up from the fans here in Tacoma.

Pierre: Silence you American scum. I am going to speak. Last Sunday we took out the Backyard Dudes. We finished them off for good and you will never see them again as long as you live. Ricky Ricardo is in a coma because of the brutality the French Revolution unleashed on him. Tonight, we take our next victim. Someone by the name of the Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels. Daniels, you have done it all in the NAWA. Former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion. Former NAWA Television Champion. Former NAWA International Champion. Well tonight your latest honor is getting your career ended by my main man Lord Napoleon tonight in the center of the ring. Tell him, Nappy.

Napoleon: Ce soir Daniels descendra plus rapidement que Pierre descend une chèvre. Apportez maintenant ce punk dehors ici ainsi je peux lâcher un règne de la terreur sur son âne.

Jacques brings in the french flag and the French Revolution lay the flag over Daniels. What a sign of disrespect! Daniels is covered in the french flag. This is such an embarassing low for a man who is one of the best wrestlers in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. He has redeemed his evil ways recently but he may have lost some of his edge in doing so. The old Christopher Daniels would have laid everyone out first in a pool of their own blood, not get laid out by perhaps the most pathetic stable in the history of mankind. We will be right back.
