NAWA Glory 12/16/04

We are live and in living color for the last Glory of 2004 and Ron Waterman is already in the ring. Waterman talks about last week, how the Archangels of Anarchy battered him and put him in the casket, but Waterman says he isn't going to waste too much time with threats, he wants Christopher Daniels out here right now and he'll send his message in the ring. Out comes the Archangels of Anarchy, minus the Fallen Angel, from the back. Desdomia gets on the microphone, talking about how Ron Waterman got a taste of what is to come, because he will not bend to the will of the Fallen Angel. She offers Waterman a spot in the Archangels and warns him not to make the same mistake Harry Harris did. Waterman is not down with this and demands the Archangels come down to the ring. Desdomia waves the Archangels and Agony, Armageddon, Destruction, and Sacrifice rush to the ring.

Waterman nearly decapitates Destruction and Armageddon with a double clothesline, taking them down to the canvas. Waterman throws Armageddon over the top rope and Agony gets caught in a belly to belly suplex! Yakuza Kick to Destruction and Sacrifice is face to face with Waterman. The biggest Archangel goes for a choke but Waterman grabs the arm and manages to twist it behind Sacrifice's back, causing the big man a moment of discomfort. Waterman backs up and huge clothesline but Sacrifice remains on his feet and there is movement from underneath the ring apron. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS COMES OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE RING AND CLIMBS TO THE TOP ROPE WITH A RAILROAD SPIKE IN HAND. Daniels leaps off, as Waterman turns around and HE GETS SPIKED RIGHT IN THE FOREHEAD FROM THE TOP ROPE BY THE FALLEN ANGEL!

Waterman falls right on his face, blood gushing from his forehead as Daniels fires a kick to the side of the head. Sacrifice bends down the orders of Christopher Daniels and grabs Waterman in a choke, hoisting him up before bringing him down with a huge choke slam! Waterman is laid on the canvas as Daniels calls for the microphone. Daniels says if Waterman wants his hands on the Fallen Angel so badly, that tonight he can go one on one with the monster of the Archangels of Anarchy, Sacrifice! If Waterman wins, then he will get his match with Christopher Daniels at StarClash. Daniels says that when 2004 ends, Ron Waterman's soul will be damned and 2005 will see the genesis of Christopher Daniels as the NAWA World Champion! That is the gospel of the Fallen Angel!

Jerry Lynn and Rapmaster Killings face off ro the Television Title, Miles Stylish and Raven for the International Title. If Stylish and Lynn lose bother their belts, then the Triumvirate lose their tag team titles by default. If not, the belts are on the line in a third match. Knee to the back and Mamaluke goes down, allowing Stylish to lock on the dragon sleeper! Mamaluke squirms in the hold for a few seconds before slowly fading. Two and a half arm drops before Mamaluke manages to struggle out and grab a double handful of hair, pulling Stylish down, allowing himself to vault over the shoulder, hitting a vicious reverse DDT which scores a two count! Mamaluke pounds away at Stylish and two snap suplexes but the brain buster is blocked and Stylish hits a swinging suplex and a rolling senton for a nearfall! The referee puts the count on and Mamaluke stops at four before starting up again, just unloading on Stylish with those vicious elbow smashes! Stylish is down and Mamaluke covers Stylish hooking the leg but the NAWA International Champion brings the shoulder up at two and a half! Mamaluke complains about the slow count but the count was fair. Mamaluke kicks Stylish right in the back of the head and he delivers a waistlock and hoists Stylish up but Stylish manages to land on his feet and quickly grab Mamaluke in a waistlock. Huge belly to back suplex sends Mamaluke down! Mamaluke has been impacted into the canvas and Stylish picks up Mamaluke, before hoisting him up to his shoulders and bringing him down swiftly with the Las Vegas Trauma! Stylish covers hooking the leg and scores the pin, retaining the title.

Miles Stylish pinned Tony Mamaluke with the Las Vegas Trauma in 0:24:31. Rating: **** (Miles Stylish retained the NAWA International Title.)

Miles Stylish holds his NAWA International Championship Belt above his head in a token of victory, the crowd booing at his triumpth tonight. There were a couple of mistakes made by Mamaluke tonight and they proved to be the difference and kept the NAWA International Championship out of the hands of Tony Mamaluke. Raven is standing on the ramp and Stylish holds up his International Title Belt, taunting Raven to come get some but Teddy Hart is in the ring behind Miles Stylish with a baseball bat and dressed like Raven with the black leather jacket and the jean shorts for some reason. Stylish turns around and TEDDY HART CRACKS STYLISH RIGHT IN THE RIBS WITH THE BASEBALL BAT! The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Stylish goes down and Teddy Hart stands over Stylish in a crucifix position, holding the weapon as Raven stands in the ramp, for a few seconds before slowly walking to the back with his usual sullen expresion on his face. Hart's mind actions to be getting more and more out there every week as he didn't even bother to acknowledge his StarClash opponent Tony Mamaluke. Hart leaves the ring with the baseball bat still in his hand. This is a developing situation folks.

A limo pulls up to the backstage area, with the words Sedrick Skyhawk productions on the side. Skyhawk will be making his first apperance live on Glory this week and we will find out who is StarClash opponent is in his first NAWA match. More Glory after this

The red carpet is rolled out, as the spotlight comes down on the ring. The crowd is booing as a young man with dark brown hair comes down to the ring. The announcers idenify this match as Sedrick Skyhawk, a man who claims he is so talented that he has been blackballed from Hollywood. He is led to the ring by his publicist, Candace Sweet, who sticks her nose up at the sight of some of the fans. Skyhawk gets into the ring, demanding that the microphone be presented to him in the ring. The ring announcer gets into the ring, offering the microphone to Skyhawk, who takes it and says that the New Age Wrestling Alliance has a dose of much needed star power. The star has landed and his name is Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk says that he has come here to shine brightly over the so called megastars of the New Age Wrestling Alliance and who knows, maybe some of his star power will rub off of them. He will be gracing us with his grand pressence at StarClash, as no doubt that he will bring in millions of new fans who will be tuning in just for the star that is Sedrick Skyhawk.

Before Skyhawk could put himself over any further, Twizted Youth stumbles down the ring from the backstage area, much to the disgust of Candace Sweet and Sedrick Skyhawk. Youth speaks in his own unique language, causing Skyhawk much confusement and terror, saying that Youth is not the world class competitor that he was promised on his first outing. Skyhawk demands a match with a true, blue NAWA superstar and sure enough, "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays and Agony of the Archangels of Anarchy comes out, with Desdomia following closely behind. Agony enters the ring, and casually beats up Twizted Youth, before putting him down with a chickenwing suplex! The crowd gives a mild pop as Desdomia gets on the microphone, declaring that in a past life as Norman Smiley, Agony was a former NAWA International and Tag Team Champion. Candace says that goth stuff is so last year and says that Skyhawk is not going to face off against some guy dressed all in black.

"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath kicks up and the crowd cheers as Shawn Stasiak makes his way down to the ring. Stasiak gets on the microphone, reminding us that he did defeat Agony last month at Truth or Consequences and thus, he should be getting the match with Sedrick Skyhawk at StarClash. Stasiak promises to give Skyhawk a proper welcome to the New Age Wrestling Alliance but Candace tells them that they are both so totally below the calibre of Sedrick Skyhawk and Skyhawk will be facing off against the former five time Jobber Champion...The Gambler! Stasiak says that as much as he respects the Gambler, he is out with a horrific leg injury that he suffered at the hands of the Dark Warrior. Skyhawk interjects saying that the Gambler is using the injury as an excuse and he is really hiding from Sedrick Skyhawk.

Out comes NAWA Commissioner New Jack to cheers and New Jack announces that no one makes the matches in this company but him. As much as he'd like the Gambler to knock Skyhawk around, it appears that he will be out until the summer at least, so Skyhawk and the Gambler will not happen at StarClash as per Skyhawk's request. Skyhawk demands that he would be declared the winner by forfeit but New Jack shakes his head and says that he does have three able NAWA competitors in the center of the ring. Sedrick Skyhawk will make his NAWA debut against both Agony and Shawn Stasiak in a triangle match. New Jack also makes Twizted Youth against Mr. Fernando in a blindfold scaffold match, strictly for his own amusement at StarClash.

Alex Shelley and Mr. Fernando are backstage, being interviewed by Dan Marion. Marion asks Fernando about his Blindfold Scaffold Match against Twizted Youth at StarClash, which Fernando responds with a string of the word "Si". Shelley says that Fernando is determined to win and he dedicates his match to their fallen comrade, Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law. Shelley promises a five star classic for StarClash, in the Blindfold Scaffold Match, but says it might be an uphill battle to get there, as there are no poles involved. Still, StarClash will be a night to remember, one way or another.

A video is shown, showing the history leading up to the Ultimate Jeopardy Match with the NAWA International, Television, and Tag Team Titles on the line at StarClash. The Triumvirate ran roughshot over the company over the past year and for some time Warrior, Stylish, and Lynn were equals. Unfortunately, that all began to come to an end, as the Triumvirate had issues with the Archangels of Anarchy, over who was the most dominant stable in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. The Triumvirate lost a crucial battle to the Archangels of Anarchy and thus the foundation of the Triumvirate began to show signs of strain. The signs were most prominent between the NAWA World Tag Team Champions Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn. So far they managed to hold onto their NAWA World Tag Team Titles but their grip has been extremely shaky. At StarClash, the Triumvirate will be involved in an Ultimate Jeopardy match with the NAWA Television, International, and Tag Team Titles all at stake. Jerry Lynn puts the Television Title on the line against Rapmaster Killings in the first leg, with Miles Stylish and Raven colliding for the NAWA International Title in the second leg. The Triumvirate must not lose both of their singles titles or they will forfeit the NAWA World Tag Team Titles . If the Triumvirate manages to hold onto at least one of their titles, then the third leg will take place, with Stylish and Lynn putting the belts on the line against the duo of the Rapmaster and Raven. It is gutcheck time for Stylish and Lynn. If they hope to hold onto the NAWA World Tag Team Titles, then they have to function as a tag team. Promos are shown for all four men. Stylish maintains that everything is okay with the Triumvirate. Lynn remarks that Stylish better leave his ego in the back for Starclash or there will be problems. Rapmaster Killings says that Lynn's Television Title reign is at an end, this time the Rapmaster will three-peat with the NAWA Television Title. Raven says that time will not save Miles Stylish, as the longest International Championship reign in the past three years will end and the Triumvirate will also be helpless as the NAWA World Tag Team Titles slip through their fingers. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

Teddy Hart is backstage with Dan Marion. Hart still has the baseball bat from earlier and gives a few phantom swings towards the camera. Marion asks Hart what is the deal of him dressing like Raven. Hart cockily states that Raven is the one dressing like Teddy Hart but Hart beat Raven in the center of the ring last week, one-two-three. Miles Stylish couldn't do that, hell Harry Harris could only do that once. Christopher Daniels failed to beat Raven in the end in the Walk Through Hell Match as well. Marion presses on, asking Hart about his baseball bat attack to Miles Stylish earlier. Hart says that Stylish just happened to be in the ring, it's not like Hart has anything against Stylish. All Hart cares about is winning the NAWA World Title and he really doesn't care how many unfortunate people have to fall as he rises. Hart is putting everyone in the NAWA on notice and says that the NAWA World Title is coming to him. It is his destiny as a Hart to be the best wrestler in the world and the NAWA World Championship is the personification of that goal. With that we fade to a

We've hyped many of the top matches for StarClash but one that we have yet to touch upon is the biggest one of them all. The NAWA World Championship will be on the line this Sunday. The challenger is Harry Harris. We go right now to a video package, highlighting Harry Harris training intensely for his title match. The video splits in half, with half showing the training video and the other half showing Harry Harris cutting a promo in an empty arena. For nine months, Harry Harris lived his life, uncertain about whether or not he would able to get back. His knee was destroyed at the hands of Miles Stylish, ligaments torn, bones shattered. Harris had his surgery and trained intensely, with the thought in the back of his mind that he would come back and win the NAWA World Championship.

Harris talks about the nagging doubt in the back of his mind, about how his first title reign could have went on for longer, had he not been crushed by the load and a multitude of injuries, the last one being a horrific assault to his knee at the hands of Stylish. Many people who claim to be in the know think that Harris's first title reign was a fluke, that he isn't good enough to hold the richest prize in the game twice and doesn't have the longevity to be a true main event megastar. Harris says the doubters will just have to order StarClash and find out with the rest of the world what the truth is. Harris is not taking anything away from the Dark Warrior, Warrior has held the belt for almost five months, much longer than many World Champions in the past decade or so. Still, Harris says StarClash will be the moment of truth, it will be gutcheck time, and after all the training, he is confident that we will see a brand new NAWA World Champion.

We fade out from Harry Harris's training video and "Darkness At the Edge of Town" by Bruce Springsteen plays and out comes the other half of the StarClash main event, the Dark Warrior. Warrior is wearing a pair of workout pants with tassels, a sport's jacket with tassels, and a Triumvirate t-shirt, with the NAWA World Championship Belt draped over his shoulder. No face paint tonight but a thick pair of eyeglasses rest of Warrior's face. Warrior decides to go for the microphone, cutting a long rambling promo about his title defense at StarClash. The gist of it is that Harris is wasting his time training hard, as it is just a fruitless attempt to avoid the inevitable. The outcome will be the same as it has been for the last five months and that is the Dark Warrior will come out on top with the NAWA World Title.

The crowd boos and Warrior calls them nothing compared to the Lord of Destrucity. They are like Harry Harris, they can't handle the pressence of a god and that is what Warrior is, a god. Time stands still for the next three days and the hopes of many will be crushed, as the balance of the universe remains as it should be. StarClash will be the Waterloo of Harry Harris and Destrucity will reign supreme once more. On that note, we fade to black. See you at StarClash!
