[[[- We enter into hour number 2, the final hour for New Era Wrestling..... we fade outside where we see a long white limo pull up to the arena. No one can be seen from the outside of it, because the windows are tinted very dark. It looks like the nEw co-owners are here to sign away the nEw forever.... We then fade into the first match of hour number 2..... -]]]

The Undertaker vs Val Venis

[[[- The Undertaker walks around in the ring waiting for Venis to enter. Venis' music hits and he doesn't come out. Undertaker leans on the ropes, Val comes from the fans! Didn't work though, Taker turns around and big boots him in the face. Taker gravs Venis by the throat, chokeslam! The former nEw champ is down. Taker paces slowly around the ring, he calls for the tombstone. Val gets up, TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! 1..2..3. The Undertaker wins this match rather easily. 9 out of 10 rating. That could have been the end of the Era of Venis. -]]]

[[[- After the match we go backstage where we see Christian walking in the parking lot on his cell phone, and his bags packed. It looks like he is leaving the arena as we listen in..... -]]]

Christian: ....... Yea he totally screwed me over........... completely dude.......... yea and on top of that, Test didn't want to play ping pong with me.......... yea this night has really sucked...... Yea well, the way I see it, in an hour this place will be out of business and so I'm going to pack my bags and try and get a developmental deal with the WWE!

[[[- Suddenly a big Green Cadillac rolls up beside Christian and is driving next to him very slowly as he walks. He notices the car out of the corner of his eye as he looks curious as to what is going on.... -]]]

Christian: Hey mom, let me call you back.....

[[[- Christian stops walking and the car stops as well. Christian let proceeds to walk and the car starts up again as if it was stalking him. He stops again, and the car does the same as suddenly the drivers window rolls down as it reveals..... IT'S EDGE!!!! OH MY GOD!! We listen in.... -]]]

Edge: I heard you were looking for a partner for tonight.....

Christian: Dude, what the hell are you doing here?

Edge: Remember how I was telling you that I was going on that month long Backgammon tournament?

Christian: Yea.... how did you do?

Edge: I came in dead last!

Christian: Oh.... dude that reeks....

Edge: Not really because I got a free t-shirt....

Christian: SWEET!!! Free t-shirts totally rule!

Edge: But anyways, I heard tonight's the last nEw show, so why not go out with a bang, and show the world the E & C connection one more time for the nEw Fans!!!

[[[- Christian smiles as it looks like Edge and Christian are back once again to team later on tonight!!! Christian hops over the hood and gets in the passenger side of the car as they roll off together, what a main event this is going to be!!! We then fade out into the next match.….. -]]]

Billy & Chuck vs The Legion of Doom

[[[- Billy and Chuck smile at each other in the ring as LOD's music hit. But no one comes out from behind the curtains. Chuck goes behind Billy and watches his back, awaiting a sneak attack like Val tried on Taker. A few minutes later, still nothing. Referee Jack Doan calls for the bell, B&C's music hits, B&C get the easiest win of their lives. A successful title defense, wasn't much of a match. 1 out of 10 rating.  -]]]

[[[- We go backstage once more as we see that white limo still sitting backstage as we are all uncertain as to who is in that limo and why..... we then see Paul Heyman walk up to it as we listen in.. -]]]

Paul Heyman: Mr. King.... Mr. Frost? It that you in there?

[[[- Heyman knocks on the window but no response comes back as Heyman looks around as if he was confused as we return to the ring for the next match….. -]]]

Steve Austin vs. Triple H

[[[- Triple h charged down to the ring and did his normal entrance routine. The crowd was going crazy as Austin's music hit. Not a bad start, Austin had control, but Triple H was way to powerful for Austin. Austin threw everything including the kitchen sink, but in the end it was enough. Austin went for a stunner, but Triple H caught his leg, and swept his other leg out. Austin got up and walked right into the Pedigree. Triple H gets the three count as the fans go wild. 3 out of 10 rating for this one, nothing too impressive.   -]]]

[[[- After the match we cut backstage where we see Arn Anderson leaving a room that says on the door 'Private nEw meeting', he has a rolled up piece of paper in his hand as he is shaking his head in disbelief as suddenly we see Little Guido walk on to the scene….. -]]]

Little Guido: Yo Arn....... what's the deal with nEw...... tonight the curtain call for this company?

 Arn Anderson: Well..... all I can say is this is the end Guido. Tonight is going to be the curtain call for New Era Wrestling, and after I sign away everything tonight in the ring, we all are going to be out of work....

Little Guido: Arn.... your the enforcer, can't you go get a loan or somethin', I mean threre's still time!

Arn Anderson: Unfortunately it's already out of my hands Guido.... I'm sorry...... but you have nothing to fret about, you have proven your worth here in nEw, holding that Extreme title is a major achievement in itself..... Thank you Guido, thank you for everything you have done, dating back to SGW, you have always been and always will be the only true Italian Stallion!! 

[[[- Arn pats Guido on the back as Guido looks a bit confused as he watches Arn walk off as suddenly something happens from behind as we listen in….. -]]]

Voice: Did someone say..... curtain call?????

The Rock vs Rob Van Dam

[[[- RVD is back and better than ever. The Rock just didn't have it this week. RVD controled this match from the first ding of the bell. Late in the match, RVD nailed a fantastic Five Star Frogsplash. Rock gets up and battles back, stunning RVD. Finally, after a beatdown later, RVD nails another frogsplash, this time it was enough. RVD picks up another win. As for the Rock, since signing over to ACW/SGW, things hasn't been too good for him. 9 out of 10 rating. Good match.  -]]]

[[[- After the match we see Paul Heyman walking out of the Private nEw conference room where Heyman is on his cell phone talking to what seems to be the rock as we listen in.....  -]]]

 

Paul Heyman: ...... wait a second..... so let me get this straight, your contract here no longer is valid? Why? ........ ok so you're telling me that last week when you raised my arm up high, you weren't siding with ACW or SGW? ........ you son of a bitch you lied to.......

 

[[[- Heyman is pissed off as the rock has just hung up on him as Heyman throws the cell phone against the wall and walks off. My god, what a night and what a final match we are going to have here next.....  -]]]

Edge & Christian vs The Impact Players

[[[- Christian and Storm do battle in the ring, as Edge and Credible battle outside. It was a back and forth match. With the nEw Champ using his technical skills to beat Christian, and soften him up for the most part. Edge comes in and nails a monster clothesline right when Christian was about to tap to the Straight Shooter. Credible comes in and nails a super kick on Christian. Edge Spears Credible out of the ring. A little later, Storm locks Edge in the Straight Shooter, but Christian breaks it. Credible comes in, and he and Storm stand beside one another, DOUBLE SUPER KICK!! Christian is down, Storm locks in the Straight Shooter, Edge rolls into the ring and SPEARS Storm while he had the straight shooter on, Christian rolls his arm over on him as the referee makes the count, 1... 2... 3!!!! The E & C connection wins it in a huge match!! 10 out of 10 rating here.....  -]]]

[[[- The match ends as we See Edge and Christian both grab two chair and hold them up and WHAM!!! THE FINAL CON-CHAIR-TO in nEw.... to Justin Credible!! they begin to hug as 'THIS..... IS A NEW ERA!!' begins to play as down to the ring walk all the associates with New Era Wrestling. A red carpet is being carried as Edge and Christian leave the ring and Justin Credible and Lance Storm are helped out, the associates roll the carpet across the ring mat and a table is brought into the ring where it is set up, as we then see Jason Frost and Michael King walk down the rampway in their suits and ties with rolls of paper in their hands, as they get into the ring as the crowd is booing like crazy as this seems to be the end of New Era Wrestling as Michael King begins to speak....-]]]

 

nEw co-Owner Michael King: Ladies and gentlemen, five months ago in early April of 2002 I, along with my partner Jason created a company that we will never ever forget. But it was two men that I assigned to the commissioner roll that made this company so much better, so for the last time ever, please welcome Arn Anderson and Paul Heyman!!!!

 

[[[- The titan tron lights up as through the back walk the former commissioners of nEw Paul Heyman and Arn Anderson. They walk down the ramp way for the very last time, as the crowd is going nuts, that this is the final straw for nEw. They both get in the ring as Michael King hands Arn Anderson the microphone for his final send off speech.....-]]]

 

 Arn Anderson: Ladies and Gentlemen.... thank you all so much for your support, and thank you all for coming here tonight. As I sign this piece of paper in a just a few moments, I am signing away my life, my job, and my family. It's not an easy thing to do, but unfortunately financial problems have lead to this, which is beyond my control. I.....

 

[[[- Just then Heyman yanks the microphone away from Arn Anderson and begins to scream with anger.....-]]]

 

Paul Heyman: I TOLD YOU........ I TOLD YOU A MONTH AGO....... IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!! Arn Anderson, I knew the day they introduced you into the company that you would kill this company!! You destroyed solid gold Wrestling and now you came here and killed New Era Wrestling...... I hope you are happy, I hope you got your laughs, because the federation I worked for so long to shape is now going to be dead in a few moments, all because........ OF YOU!!!!!!

 

[[[- Arn stares into Paul Heymans eyes as its very obvious Arn Anderson is thinking that Heyman is right. Owners Michael King & Jason Frost then separate the two and sit them down each at the table and as they begin to stare at each other across the table as Michael king begins to give the instructions.....-]]]

 

nEw co-Owner Michael King: Gentlemen, if you would please calm, down we can sign the nEw off for good. Now these papers I have placed in front of you are documents to sign the company iver to myself and from there I will finalize the company and eventually destroy it. Your signature is all we need to sign nEw off forever.

 

[[[- Arn picks up a pen and begins to sign his name as suddenly the cut to the back where we see the white limo from earlier. what in gods name is going on?? The back door pops open as out pops....... ERIC BISCHOFF!! He steps out smiling, as he begins to walk down the parking lot and through the double doors, as we follow him and suddenly 'New Disease' by spineshank begins to play, as through through the curtain steps....... do I say it? Eric Bischoff??? He walks down the ramp way and up the steel steps with a microphone in hand as he begins to speak!!! OH MY GOD!!!.....-]]]

 

 

Eric Bischoff: What's the matter? Arn? Paul? Your not happy to see me? Well You better get used to me!!! 

 

nEw co-Owner Michael King: SECURITY!!!!

 

Eric Bischoff: Oh I don't think they will be doing too much, you see they work for me.......

 

nEw co-Owner Michael King: What are you talking about?

 

Eric Bischoff: Well now that you signed those papers Arn.... I now........ OWN NEW ERA WRESTLING!!!! New Era Wrestling isn't going to die... oh no, you see it's going to live under my supervision!!

 

[[[- The fans go nuts as Eric Bischoff adjusts the microphone.........-]]]

 

Eric Bischoff: And Arn, Paul, Jason, Michael..... as my first act here in nEw.... allow me to introduce to you........ MY............... NEW ERA WRESTLING CHAMPION!!!! ............... THE ROCK!!!!!

 

[[[- 'IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKING!!!' hits the loud speakers as through the back walks The rock with a brand new nEw Championship belt in hand as he walks down to the ring, and throws his arms up high with the belt, as we slowly fade out seeing the Rock of all people holding up the nEw World Title belt, and Eric Bischoff clapping, and going nuts!! My god what a night, New Era Wrestling LIVES!!!!!! -]]]
