News & Notes for Week of August 3rd

by: Jon E. Wrestler

The house show scheduled for July 30th was rained out and was slated for July 31st. Again, it rained. So now the final for the NGW Title Tournament will be on August 6th.

Speaking of the future, NGW Exile which was originally slated for Saturday, September 6th has now been moved to Sunday, September 7th. The time has not been announced yet. The NGW Title will be defended as well as many other matches. Also, on August 13th, the Number 1 Contender for the NGW Title at NGW Exile will be decided as the loser of the Evan Blaze/The Redneck match faces Hardbody Hibbert.

Pat Karnage may be missing dates in the month of August due to other commitments. He will return full time in September.

In other news referring to comings and goings, Hardbody Hibbert will most likely make his return on August 6th after sustaining an muscle pull to Paul Regal in their first round match up in the NGW Title Tournament.

A secondary title is in the process of being made right now and there will be a tournament at the November major show to determine the champion. A name still hasn't been made yet for the major show or the new title.

    8-Ball will debut August 6th.

Correction: The new NGW Title will be named the "NGW World Championship" and not the "NGW World Heavyweight Title"

News & Notes for Week of August 17th

by: Jon E. Wrestler

To start us off this week we must recap the August 17th House Show that took place today. The first NGW World Champion was crowned today and it is Evan Blaze. It was an exciting match between Evan and The Redneck that lasted over 40 minutes. Paul Regal defeated Thor and Benjamin Dover in a Triple Threat Elimination Match. Thor made his debut. Read the results page for more.

Hardbody Hibbert's return date to action has not been set yet. His availability is limited right now. Pat Karnage will likely return after Exile.

NGW Exile comes to you from Estell Manor on September 7th. Go here for information.

News & Notes for Week of August

Now also we saw the last match of Paul Regal for the near future. He injured his ribs and is on the shelf. No telling when he'll be back in action.

The main event at Exile has been changed from a ladder match to an iron man match. The reason for this being that if it were to rain (as it is monsoon season in South Jersey now), then a ladder match would be a death wish. Also with the injury of Paul Regal, Hardbody Hibbert is issuing an open challenge to all in the back. And in the final scheduled match, Benjamin Dover is putting it all on the line against his inner demons better known as The Invisible Man.

This Sunday, NGW undertakes its second PPV experience with Exile! Come see the triumphant return of Hardbody Hibbert and the longest match in NGW history, an iron man match for the NGW World Championship!
