In the first ever Wild Card Chaos match, all singles titles were put on the line. It turned into a huge brawl between the two teams, and The Rock seemingly went out of his way to make enemies of everyone in the match, refusing any allies. In all the confusion, Steve Austin managed to hit The Rock with the Stunner to take his Intercontinental title. Austin, himself, was eliminated moments later, but since titles could only change hands once in the match, he took his belt and went to the back, as champion once again.
